Princess? Very well, Allie. Go ahead. I find that I may have several matters to attend to this week, leading up to Valentine's Day. My interests have been shifting between each other in recent weeks, which might explain the deadlock, if no better word applies here, within my mind. You may have already seen that Bulbagarden weblink I posted in the "Finding Happiness" thread, so perhaps I shall turn my attention to that for now. No need to worry, however. I've already credited you with helping maintain the support for these two Kids Next Door commanders as a couple within this show, so that if anyone there is curious about Nigel/Rachel, I'll know what to tell them.

Indeed. It would seem that the Courting Commanders have a new spot to gather. I can imagine that many Panda Warriors here will be excited about such a forum, so that Nigel Uno and Rachel McKenzie's romantic friendship can flourish... even in the valley of the shadow of death. I figure that if anybody can successfully add romantic fluff into these two kids' friendship, it would be you, lead Courting Commander. I will be eager to ally with you and other Courting Commanders as I see fit.

Ah, yes. Time flies when the Courting Commanders are having fun. We might have a song for Nigel and Rachel to consider, so that the bond between these two kids can be stronger. I can only wonder what Valentine's Day song would fit them...

I for one think Untouched by The Veronicas would be amazing for the two! It has great lyrics that really stick-out for them. ^__^ It reminds me of 1/362 so much! I just posted it in the "Fanfiction" section before I began typing this post. It's called "Like a Valentine Flying High in the Sky", and I feel quite satisfied in doing it, but even more so in posting the reflections I had leading up to it. I may take a more comprehensive view of Codename: Kids Next Door romance than others here, but perhaps the more things change for Nigel and Rachel, the more they stay the same. I figure that it's time to let the Codename: Kids Next Door Fan Forum know of these developments on my part, especially given the people I remember informing of this special Panda Warriors forum. I'm going to enjoy this. |

Ah!!! So that's why you were so busy. I understand now. Thanks! I will now go have a read.  By the way... Expect a new chaptered-fanfiction sometime this week! ;D I just got Princess; A Modern Fairytale on dvd in the mail today, and watched it through! Sooo cute! <3 And romantic. And fantasied. Many mythical creatures. But I'll tweak it a little. Instead of "mythical creatures" ... there will be galactic aliens. Nebulos, Zinc, Niji, Kyra, Zarzig, Ruby, exc. exc! And Sonia will have a pretty good role too! |

Ah, yes. Perhaps Lee and Sonia will get along pretty well with Nigel and Rachel's Galactic Kids Next Door friends, along with the rest of Sector V, of course. I'd like to think that Lee and Sonia had fun alongside my other favorite couples before Kuki gave her special performance for Wally, and that might play perfectly into my way of thinking regarding Codename: Kids Next Door romance. Hoagie, Abby, Patton, and Fanny are at the side, Bartie and Virginia are helping monitor events, and Herbie and Lizzie are simply curious about what everybody else is doing. Since Nigel and Rachel have their respective positions as Kids Next Door leaders, they might have an excellent view of everyone and everything else around them, leading the Kids Next Door in confronting new villains and new challenges on Earth. My interests may be shifting, but in the end, there will be a unique place in my mind for Nigel Uno, Rachel McKenzie, and the Kids Next Door alongside my overall interests regarding this world we call home.

BTW we were singing this song in class,Love Story by Taylor Swift and I think it fits Nigel and Rachel.^^ Go have a listen. =)

Taylor Swift's "Love Story"? I've seen that song described for Pearlshipping, as well, and I can understand the association of fluff amongst both that couple and this, as Allie guessed with Pikachusident's Day. I might be intrigued to see this new multi-chapter fanfiction on Allie's part later this week, thereby continuing the romantic friendship that has strengthened and inspired Nigel and Rachel ever since their days as leaders in the Kids Next Door on Earth.

I would imagine Nigel's proposition to Rachel to have a certain romantic component to it, and perhaps Nigel and Rachel can be happy to be with each other without many cares in the world. In fact, come to think of it, I remember a few references to Romeo and Juliet within "Love Story", which might further reinforce a link between Nigel and Rachel from the Kids Next Door and Romeo and Juliet from William Shakespeare. Fortunately, there might be a happier ending to the Courting Commanders' "Nigel and Rachel" project than the one for the original play. I wonder how such a project will unfold, whether here or at the Codename: Kids Next Door Fan Forum.
