Until this point, Ynda hadn't said a word, or hardly even moved a muscle. The only thing she had done was watching the other aliens meet one another, get to know their new powers, laugh with each other. She hmpf'd in thought and widened her frown, pretending to be completely disinterested. While she appeared distant on the outside, she had a tendency, like every other alien, to feel a little lonesome every once in a while on the inside - especially when she wasn't talking to anyone. But would she go and talk to them, thus showing weakness in the meantime? No way.
Her attention was finally drawn a little more when she saw Princess Niji take out one of her lollipops - something even grumpy little Ynda couldn't resist. She gazed at the candy from her spot by the wall, her eyes widened slightly, as she wouldn't mind having one of those.
Ynda was shaken out of her thoughts when she heard a familiar voice call half her name and turned her head towards Dengeki, although she had a tendency to call him "Fishface". She felt a little surprised, yet happy, he was calling for her, but as she watched him turn his attention to another alien, her mood quickly swapped to grumpiness again. She looked away with a slight blush and kept her arms crossed, feeling a little jealous now. In the beginning, she had considered Dengeki (and many other aliens) a complete moron, but he had quickly managed to make her shy, blush and even flirt back with him. How she felt about him exactly she was unaware of, but she knew that she liked it whenever he focused on her.

Etoile’s face burst into a wide grin, showing almost all of his yellow-tinted teeth. A violet flush enflamed across his cheeks as Unagi ruffled his hair, and he felt a wave of happiness crash through him. This was more than he ever could have asked for. “Really!?” Two adopted big brothers? Ducking his head shyly, his antennae drooped backwards. “Th-thank you!”
After his mishap with the chair, he felt a little silly, especially when Dengeki checked to see if he was alright. “I’m fine!” he chirped, brushing himself off. He was fairly used to falling, sadly, but he really didn’t mind. As long as he only continued to improve.
He was about to say more when a large whirring sound filled the room. It came from above, and Etoile’s eyes flew up to watch the ceiling open up. A large rocket was lowering into the room, sending smoke everywhere, and it set down gently in the empty center of the room. The hatch slid open, and more white smoke poured out from inside, spreading across the floor.
“Your ship,” the White Lady explained. “Let me explain.”
She seemed to float, instead of walk, over to the bridge that had extended toward the floor, connecting the ground to the ship’s hatch. “This will be your mode of transportation to the planet. The journey will take a little while, so it’s packed with the necessary supplies.”
Her blank eyes turned back to them. “There will be no leader on this mission, nor will anyone take command. We’re trusting you all to work together, as equals, and to find a way to work together without conflict. You’ll need to rely on each other.”
There was suddenly a scroll in her hand, which she unraveled and began to read. “On the ship, we’ll need these positions filled in order to keep the ship working and the flight smooth. If you don’t take a position, feel free to help wherever you’re needed. The positions we need are: Pilot, Co-Pilot, Navigator, Engine Room Mechanic, Medical Bay Health Specialist, Defense Systems Operator, Offense Systems Operator, and Look-Out. Do we have any volunteers for these positions?”
Etoile’s hand went shyly into the air, and he had to lift himself up to be seen above some of the larger aliens. “I-I can-“ Not loud enough. Clearing his throat, he tried again. “I-I can navigate! I mean, if you want. I’m good at reading maps.”
A serene nod from the White Lady. She tossed him the map, which he clutched tightly, as though his life depended on holding on to it.
Seeming pleased, the White Lady smiled at the rest. “Anyone else?”

"ICANPILOTICANPILOTIWANNAPILOTPICKMEPICKMEPICKMEEEEE!"
Cyril's voice drowned out any other requests to be pilot, if there were any. He wouldn't settle for co-pilot; that was second best. Then again, riding shotgun was pretty fun.
With a much more sensible aura around her, Vibe raised a hand and clearly stated her interest in volunteering for Engine Room Mechanic. She expected that position to be in high demand, but surely such a vast rocket would require more than one mechanic to keep it in order? It was fair game.
Nalo, having basically no chance of volunteering herself for a position, just remained motionless, examining the rocket thoroughly with her eyes, and subconsciously trying to determine what sort of position she could possibly assist with. She'd glanced towards Etoile when he volunteered to navigate, but soon found her gaze crawling back to the White Lady. Surely she'd find something to do aboard the ship? This was a huge mission; it just wasn't plausible that she'd be without a helpful job. It didn't really surprise her though, considering her previous position at her old sector.

The White Lady gave an amused nod, handing Cyril the keys and codes that he would need to start the rocket, as well as a sheet of paper, explaining the basic controls.
To Vibe, she gave blueprints of the engine room, which gave extremely small instructions detailing each machine and how to make sure that it was running properly. It was a large rocket and would take a lot of power to handle it, but she had faith in the aliens.
And then she sent Nalo nothing but a warm smile.
"Who else will volunteer?"

Ynda lifted her head when attention was focused on the White Lady once more, and listened carefully to her explanation. She more or less protested inwardly to the part where she mentioned there would be no case of leadership; despite not feeling a desperate need to be one, she hoped the lack of one wouldn't cause several aliens to start fighting and mess up the mission.
It was not until she heard the position list that she became alert again. There were none she felt specific interest for, but the medical position might be one a few others would link to her due to her secret healing ability. She narrowed her eyes and shot a short, yet sharp glare around the room to the aliens that knew of her secret: Niji, Nebulos and Nalo. She wouldn't admit it in a thousand years, but these aliens had managed to actually make her feel sympathy for them and want to erase their pain. But if they were to bring it up, she'd claim she just wanted them to shut up (with exception of Nalo).
(Not sure if those three are the only ones she healed, I'm tired so I might've forgotten someone. XD;)

In awe, the small boy stared up at the ceiling, which was no longer there. Instead, he saw a smooth metal surface slowly descending towards the chosen operatives, who were partly concealed by a thick layer of smoke which poured from the opened hatches in the ceiling. As a beacon in the mist, his antennea shone brightly in surprise, his pale eyes wandering swiftly across parts of the ginormous object he managed to distinguish through the vapour. Despite the rare moments he came here, Nebulos was quite startled that the conference room was capable of doing such a thing. There was only one explanation for this unexpected event. This had to be...
"Your ship."
The white girl spoke solemenly, the smoke slowly evaporating as she explained. In the meanwhile, a hatch from the vehicle itself had opened, revealing a bridge large enough to fit them all. Impressed, Nebulos didn't know where to look at first, their commander or the gihoogic ship. He decided on the first, as the white lady conjured a scroll of paper out of thin air and unrolled it, beginning to read. "“On the ship, we’ll need these positions filled in order to keep the ship working and the flight smooth.
Giggling, Nebulos first heard Cyril enthusiastic exclamations of volunteering to be piloteer of the ship. Between the cloud of newly shedded feathers, he could see Etoile raising his hand as well, though more timidly than the bird alien, and requesting to be Navigator. That rank was provided to him and Cyril and Vibe also received their requested positions, the latter having volunteered to watch the engines during their travels. Jumping off Niji's head (as he felt it would seem more appropriate that way), the Luminarian boy turned to face the majestic snowy girl as soon as his feet made contact with the floor.
"I could do Look Out."
The tiny boy said, raising an upper and a lower arm as high as he could, his antennea brightning along with it. The other two arms were tucked behind his back and a gentle smile was set on his blue face, giving the little alien a rather innocent look as he stood there.
"I've done it on missions before, scouting the area and such. I'm rather small, so I don't get noticed so quickly. I could take that position... Unless, of course, someone else might be suited better for the job."
All four hands were tucked behind his back now, his eyes cast modestly to his feet, which were rocking him back and forth softly, making him look very kid-like and even more innocent than before. He looked up at the white lady once more, smiling earnestly, eyes twinkling joyfully like they usually did.

Ah, I wanted for him to wave or something at Ynda when she was glaring at him, but I couldn't fit it in anywhere XD That'll be for later I guess X3

Milo-Lee and Finnick turned the see the rocket that was now standing in the center of the hall. They listened to the White Lady explain that there would be no leader, and that they would all need to pick jobs on the ship. As soon as she said this, Finnick knew he wanted to pilot the ship, but Cyril beat him to it. "I'll be co-pilot!" he chirped before soneone could bet him to it. Milo-Lee was a little less quick to reply, she thought over the options quickly. Defense System Operator, shields and stuff, she could do that. And then she'd be working with Finnick and the bird-boy, didn't he say his name was Cyril? She'd hardly understood a word he said but he seemed sweet. "And I can be the defense system operator," she said, steppig forawrd with Finnick.

[[ Etoile already volunteered to be the Navigator. Is there another job that Milo-Lee can have? ]]

Niji mentally kicked herself for not picking that position sooner. She had nothing against her new friend of course but felt that since she could had the ability to create forcefields and barriers, she was the girl for the job. Accepting that the position was taken and she began to mull over the vacant occupations...
"I can volunteer as the offensive officer if that's okay." She suggested politely. "I can fire rainbow energy beams, and also create forcefields as well." She twirled a lock of her rainbow hair in an attempt to remain humble.

Listening intently to the positions being offered, the twins could only recognize one that they could preform, due to their expertise and abilities. Shortly after Vibe offered to take their position, they sidled up next to her, one on each side, and saluted to the white lady. They spoke in unison with their free arms around Vibe's waist. "Two more mechanics at your service!" Excitement was definitely present, displayed by the way their tails swayed back and forth, creating a small spark everytime they made contact with each other.
Shortly after volunteering, Unagi realized that they couldn't just take the job without asking Vibe permission. He turned to her, flicking the hair out of his face so that he could look her in the eyes. "If its okay with you, of course." He gave her an Edward Cullen-like smile in an attempt to dazzle her.

Suddenly with the twins on either side of her, the girl turned her head either way to look at them both as they offered themselves up for the position, too. When Unagi had the courtesy to ask permission, Vibe turned to look at her friend with a stare that could punch him in the face.
"If you don't make the face for the whole trip, you guys can help," was her conditoned agreement.

As positions were called out, the White Lady nodded to each one, and handed out the necessary equipment for each position. She then stepped back and gestured to the hatch, her long white fingers curling. “When you first enter the rocket, strap yourself into a seat. Wait until you’ve broken through the thin atmosphere until you unbuckle. At that point you may go to your separate positions – the ship is on autopilot until that point. Once you’re in empty space, you’ll have to take control.”
She held out a communicator for everyone to take. “Use these to talk between yourselves if you have to split up. The red button will call us, but you won’t be able to use it once you’re nearing the headquarters because the distance is too far. You’ll have to rely on yourselves.”
Her eyes, so wide, so soulless, seemed to fill with pity. “And we wish you luck.”
She invited them to then enter the rocketship, which was standing there magnificently, reading for boarding. Etoile gaped at the huge structure, clutching his map tightly, and hesitated before entering.
To calm his nerves, he hung back while the others entered, waiting for Nalo and the people she was with and walking forward with them. “N’tilo equo’th ceru y’val z’nu-wai?” His tongue curled as he pronounced the difficult syllables, looking up at the levitating alien as he spoke. You can understand my native language now?
At the aliens that she had been standing beside, the little blue one and the rainbow one (he had already forgotten their names, he realized with shame), he offered a shy smile, bowing quickly to greet them properly while his curls danced around the curve of his head.

"If you don't make the face for the whole trip, you guys can help,"
Unagi was definitely used to the glares he got from his ice queen. Not wanting to start an argument, he quickly transformed his cheesey smile back into his normal smirk. He leaned towards her and kissed her swiftly on the cheek. "Better? I've been working on my-" He struck a pose. "-sexy side!" He looked at her, not knowing whether to expect a short chuckle or a slap in the face.
Dengeki had gotten distracted yet again. He remembered how he hadn't had a chance to talk to Ynda earlier, due to Etoile's mishap and figured that this was the perfect time to make up for it. Walking towards her, he called her name again to get her attention. "Ynda darling, oh how I've missed you!"

After she was done glaring, Ynda focused on the White Lady again, wanting to catch every instruction before they would have to begin this mission.
Once they were invited to the enormous space ship, she took a few steps forward to enter, without hesitation. She wanted to get this over with, after all. They had been standing here long enough without action.
But she abruptly froze in her tracks when she heard the same voice from before call her name again, and much to her dismay, the "darling" part made her blush at the spot. She automatically turned away her head, not wanting anyone to see, but she knew that a persuasive guy like him would notice either way. Slowly, she glanced towards him, trying to glare at him as usual. "H-hi, Fishface..."
