(I think it works just fine, Renee! ^^ It gives me a way to get Gylan in...x3...Hopefully, though, this is all alright...^^;...)
It was everything for him to try to remain invisible but his defenses were certainly falling fast from exhaustion. Gylan had never expected to see them come to the door of the weapons outpost; there hadn’t been an incident there in...Well, ever. He was new at this, barely a few days onto the job of being a guard here and there were only a few of them around. The attackers ended up being so strong... No one had wanted to give up their post, knowing full well about the arsenal stored in the units, but they had been shocked so fast by the three attackers, time for a re-group just wasn’t possible. A scramble from the guards occurred as they tried to get away as fast as they could from the front door.
Struggling to find a way to hide and knowing that just the slightest of sounds would be enough to give him away, Gylan ran down a corridor and hid in a pile of clothing, squeezing his eyes shut and waiting for them to pass while hoping that the alarm would alert someone at the main base to come and save them. He hoped, too, that the locked door would hold the three menaces off from the prize of they sought. After a while of hiding, he started to hear some shifting from a pile of debris a few meters down, and figured that perhaps one of the other guards had managed to make it underneath. Letting his guard down to go over to him, he tiptoed across the hall but had to hide again when footsteps were heard coming down the corridor. After a few minutes voices bounced off the walls, and he knew there was a possibility that these were the operatives from the main base...and was relieved when he saw a familiar rainbow-haired girl stick a hand out towards his hurt fellow guard.
Gylan let his invisibility fall and revealed himself fully. “Niji...Thank goodness you’ve come, we’ve all been so...shocked...There are others...” he said weakly. “...I just don’t really know where they are...”

Immediately leaving his sister's side, the male of the pair of siblings went to the newest arrival and gently took his arm to hook it around his own thin shoulders, wrapping his free arm around the rest of Gylan's torso to keep him standing in his weakened condition. Perhaps the help was not needed, but Etoile was one to give it anyway. Even his tail had threaded itself around Gylan's waist, to keep him upright and mobile.
"What happened, exactly?" he asked after he had finished steadying the operative, in his soft, peaceful voice that he hoped would have a soothing effect on both the injured guard and Gylan. "Who did this?"
Tala, meanwhile, was crouching over the injured guard, taking a few quick moments to examine his wounds. She was no nurse, not by any standards, but she had been on the receving end of injuries often enough to tell when something was bearable, unbearable, or life-threatening. After a couple of seconds of leaning over the guard without offering him a greeting, she leaned around and slipped a hand into the tiny bag that she had strapped to her waist.
"Here, dude." Her fingers pulled out a small bottle with various pills in it that she kept on hand, mostly because disaster followed her like a loyal little puppy. Choosing a larger, yellow pill, she didn't give him a chance to argue, slipping the pill between his lips. "Swallow it. Pain relief, and it'll help you mend faster. I'm going to clean the wounds, okay? Can't do it fully, not enough time, but I can keep you from getting infected until we can get you proper help. Oh, I'm Tala."
Not sure if that reassured him at all, and not really caring, the girl stripped the fabric off of his chest, wrinkled her nose at all of the damage, and then pulled out a rag from the same pack and began to wipe them clean. Even though she wasn't a doctor, she didn't feel it necessary to tell this fallen guard, who might panic if he knew that he was being treated by someone who didn't /exactly/ know what to do, besides the basics. "Alright," she said after wiping the majority of the cuts clean, straightening and stepping back. "You'll live. Well, you would have lived anyway, but at least none of them will start oozing pus, right? Now help us, where did the attackers go?" Her gaze shifted between the guard and Gylan, hoping that between the two of them, they could get a decent lead.

The feeling of exhaustion was certainly relieved some as soon as Gylan felt himself supported up by Etoile; he was immensely grateful for the kind gesture, and made sure to let him know that first. Some of the finer details about the attack were starting to become clearer in his mind, and he breathed a sigh of relief seeing that his fellow guard looked to be mostly alright after the help that Tala had given.
“Thank you both so much for your help...Certain things are starting to come back. We did get a good look at them all...there were three of them. I think they were teens, too...Easily, outsized us all...There were two guys, and a girl, reptilian-species...One of the guys had a pretty high-pitched voice...”
Glancing down for a moment, he thought a little longer about anything else that could help out in finding the attackers and then looked right back up again, smiling some. He pointed down the hallway while speaking.
“There’s only one corridor here that branches off a lot of ways, but there are signs pointing to the main vault...After they got through us, they just ran straight down...But, even though they got through us, I’ll bet they haven’t broken the lock just yet. Without the key, it’s super hard to break.”
Exhausted still, but grinning now, he turned back to them. “I think there’s a good chance they’re still down there.”

Jilot watches his comrades try opening the lock, now using the weapons he found. They were getting somewhere with the vault that he tried to help out with. But did they really want his help?....Maybe, but it was all indirect since it seemed that they were more interested whether or not if he brought the supplies. Other than that, Jilot wasn't really needed.
"That's not working, try the other one."
"I just did, you put it back in the pile, remember?"
"...Don't take that kind of tone with me." Wendy frowned at his second-in-command, who was smirking as he realized his own fault. Kialot then picked up another piece of artillery, this one bigger than the last, and handed it to the frustrated leader. They seemed fine, just like the girl had told him earlier, but that didn't mean he had to stay in the corner!
His eyebrows furrowed forward in frustration, until a thought came across him. Maybe there was some subtle mission with him "sitting in the corner". To anyone else, it sounded like a simple request, but to Jilot, it was a code word for something. He remembered that while they spent their days in the jails, they were coming up with schemes, so maybe his "sitting in the corner" was a scheme of sorts.
And to him, it meant "go and snoop out the place."
His eyes lit up with the idea and a fang-filled grin appeared as he gave one last glance towards the other two, before sneaking out of the door and into the hall.
~~~~~~~
With the keyboard somehow successfully stuffed into her pocket, Zoelin turned her attention away from the computers, and back to the group. With her normal gait, she figured that by now she had probably passed Lunira, but shrugged thinking that the girl was in good hands..or something.
As lavnder lights flickered from one side of the hall to the next, Zoelin happened to glance up, noticing some sort of commotion going on ahead. Tilting her head to the side, the whiskite considered either two things were happening: The enemies were located, the guards were found...or possibly someone left the door wide open revealing something that would be totally cool.
Okay, make that three things.
Walking along the side, she managed to catch up towards the front, now watching as Niji, Etoile and Tala were talking to the guards. Both of them seemed very shook up, especially the one that Tala was right next to, as for the other one--she recognized him right away. "Gylan?"
Upon hearing a faint noise, the Luminarian turned his head to the other side. He saw nothing there. Still, he was quite convinced someone had called back to him. And by all possibilities, it was probably Lunira. He peered into the vast darkness, his light not reaching far enough illuminate a face. He squinted his eyes a little and upon doing this, he caught a glimpse of a quick purple streak of light flashing through the darkness, but vanishing in an instant. This did not alarm him, on the contrary. Having identified the purple light as coming from no one other than Zoelin's eyes, Nebulos was reassured that Lunira would be found soon, as Zoelin's head was one of his panda-like friend's favourite mode of transportation. And sure enough, it didn't even take a minute before his bright light threw strong shadows upon the white face he knew so well. "Luni!" he called out, hushed, a small smile appearing on his face as he hurried over to her. "I couldn't see you anywhere. I was rather worrie--" The little boy had to break off his sentence because there suddenly was a minor ruckus occurring at the front of the group.
The sudden change of direction caught Masurao's eye instantly. His alert gaze snapped over to the girl as she floated over towards a pile of debris in the corner. One green eye squinted lightly, apparently not liking this action. "Princess Niji, get back here." he said, hushed. His words fell on deaf ear, like they never rarely did, so instead he just hurried after her, standing at her side in an instant. Slightly alarmed at the hand shooting out of the scattered pieces of metal, the guard immediately shot out a hand and pulled Niji away from it, only to find out it was not a foe beneath the dirt, but an operative. An eyebrow went aloft at the unexpected discovery, but he had hardly time to react as Etoile suddenly appeared, hoisting the boy up and putting an arm around his shoulders. Masurao believed rendering his assistance as well wouldn't be a bad idea, but suddenly another Telarian appeared, who began to tend to the boy's injuries.
The wolf's nose scrunched up a little as the mixture of green, red and rainbow light illuminated the injuries upon Gylan's figure. He glanced down as the green-haired girl began to fix the cuts and another eyebrow lifted slightly, apparently somewhat impressed at how she handled them without any previous medical knowledge. "Needs splinting." he said hoarsely, gesturing over to the boy's right lower arm where a bruise had formed. The way he announced it was how one would state the weather was sunny outside. He kept his mouth firmly shut after this statement, keeping quiet, but keeping a observant eye upon Gylan, mane twitching lightly as the boy relayed the tale.
Nebulos glanced over his shoulder, his light not reaching far enough to distinguish his teammates properly, but still managing to locate them through the flashes of red, green and rainbow light. "Something's going on." he said to Lunira quietly, clutching the small Quablit shooter in his hand. He was quite assured that it wasn't an attack, since there wasn't a lot of commotion. There were hushed, urgent whispers and also a voice Nebulos couldn't immediately place. "Let's go check it out." the blue boy said, using one of his many hands and taking one of Lunira's in it. He turned to face her and sent a reassuring smile her way, along with a few flickers of his antennae. He squeezed her hand gently and then moved over to the group.
Once there, he made his way through the crowd of legs, until he had proper view of what was going on. His eyes widened in surprise as he recognized the boy who Etoile was supporting, who was -alarmingly enough- covered in bruises. Asking what was going on was needless, as Gylan began to tell what had happened before Sector SUN's arrival. At the mention of the reptilian creatures, the Luminarian's eyes grew even wider and his mouth dropped a little. He glanced sideways at Lunira. An unpleasant memory sent a shiver down his spine and he could easily recall three reptilian faces he had seen before. And as far as he was concerned, he never had to see them again. "No ..." he whispered in his small voice, hardly audible.
The stoic guard, seemed to have noticed the smaller boy's discomfort and glanced down at him, his fists hanging by his sides. Nebulos didn't seem to notice, but stared up at Gylan instead, his mouth still agape, as if he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Green eyes squinted slightly, observing the Luminarian boy with interest. Masurao hadn't the faintest idea what Gylan was talking about, but apparently Nebulos did. And judging from the little boy's reactions, they could have gotten happier news than this.
Jilot walked down the corridor, holding a rather large weapon he fished out from the bag before he left and humming the 'mission impossible'. He looked around, "Hmm...okay, no one here." He looked to his left. "Nuh-uh...There's no one over there." He looked to his right, and heard voices coming from down the corridor. "Aha!! BINGO!! Go Jilot! It's your birthday! Uh-huh, oh yeah, that's right, go me! WOO!!" He celebrated and did a little dance of victory. Without another thought, he bolted off to locate the owners of the voices. -----
As Niji cleared away some of the debris, she paid close attention to the description Gylan gave of the attackers. She gasped softly covering her mouth with her hands. "It can't be them..." She muttered. She remembered their wicked smirks, their evil obnoxious laughs and the fact that they kidnapped Lunira and...She shook her head to rid herself of the horrible memory and knelt down beside her smaller friends. "Didn't we...Didn't we lock those guys up?" She asked sending a troubled glance toward the corridor where she saw a shadowy figure running toward them. "Ummm...Who's that?" She pointed, trying to use her rainbow light to make it easier to see who was coming. ----
As Jilot ran down the corridor, the group of kids became easier, and easier to see from the light a few of them omitted. He even recognized a few of them. "HEY I KNOW YOU GUYS!!" He cried out as he slowed to stop a few feet away from the group. He pointed at Nebulos, Niji and Lunira, unaware that he was also pointing his weapon at the three alien children as well. "You're Rainbow Brite, Flashlight and you're that teddy bear looking girl that Wendy, Kialot and I kidnapped! Long time no see, huh?" He laughed, though his chuckle came out more girlish than he meant it to be. "Oh, look you have new friends too." He looked over at the unfamiliar group of kids.
"Oh, well that's not cool."
Despite the weight of the current situation, the Telarian female standing above the injured guard looked immensely calm, although a flicker of offense brushed over her expression. Her reason for speaking was revealed soon enough as she continued casually, hands dug into her pockets. "I've called Etoile 'Flashlight' since we were younger, man, if Nebbie's 'Flashlight,' too, I'll get confused.
"However," she continued lazily, now lifting one hand to adjust the glove that covered her other hand, "I can ignore that, I'm much more concerned with the fact that you kidnapped Lunira." A flicker of green sparked around the very tips of her fingers, threateningly. "Back away before I blow you to pieces, scumbag."
Etoile, too, had picked up that vital information from the way that the villain spoke to his friends. His fingertips, too, had begun to flicker, although he was prepared for the defensive. He was already building the shield in his mind, ready to spring it around them if it need be. The others, he knew, would fight better offense, and he could provide a decent shield.
He was also well-aware of the fact that Tala didn't have the ability to blow anyone to pieces yet, not while she was still learning to use the power that she had. But the threat might be enough to get the stranger to lower his weapon, especially while the green lights danced around her fingers like tiny lightning bolts. Patient and wary, the boy waited, blue optics carefully watching to see what would happen next.
While Cyril squawked and squeaked and generally panicked in the air above their heads, Lester had already made his way to the front of the group, his tail poised high in the air, ready to whallop a reptilian villain. "Who are you and what have you done?" he snarled, the tip of the oversized appendage twitching, eager to throw the creature into the dust.
"He's an old friend of ours," came the eternally calm but noticably sarcastic voice of the Cykrian female, also moving to take up stance in front of the others, her own tail notably tighter around her leg. "And if he knows what's good for him, he'll spill the beans right now." The girl had been examining the wounded with her eyes until this distraction showed up, and couldn't wait to pound him into the dust so they could leave and get some proper medical help. "Where are your pals?"
As eager to fight as the pair in the front, if not more, Nalo already had limbs leaping from her back, sharp and shiny, ready to shred an enemy, but she remained where she was, beside the group, her careful gaze darting between the members of the team who didn't possess a good eye for the dark. Most of her body was hidden by the darkness, but the two floating golden orbs that were her eyes revealed her easily; luckily she wasn't trying to hide.
Ivory optics darted to the side as his colourful friend lowered herself to their altitude and voiced her concerns through a whisper. His reply was a shaky, slow nod and soon he averted his gaze back towards the vast darkness that hung in front of them like an impenetrable fog. "They ... They must have gotten away ... Escaped." Nebulos spoke back, his antennae illuminating more brightly to extend his shield of light. And when he did, the outline of a foot that was not a child's became visible.
Green orbs narrowed and in the blink of an eye, the wolfboy had positioned himself in front of Niji, squaring his shoulders as he seemed to transform himself in a living wall in front of the princess. His demeanor revealed nothing, and neither did his face, except for the everalert gaze that had fastened itself upon the unfamiliar teenage face. In a slow, calculated move, Masurao extended his arm and lifted it towards his back. Gloved fingers curled around the wooden pole that was fastened there securely, and, slowly, his fist lifted higher, pulling out the rod from its holder, all this without losing the reptilian boy out of his sight. The far end of the stick was placed on the ground, while his hand held the other end. The boy stood there, calmly, observing the intruder. If one didn't know any better, they could say he seemed like he had been taking a stroll and had somehow ended someplace remotely interesting. But the keener eye could discern the tightened muscles beneath the fur, displaying his state of caution and observation.
Nebulos also moved. With a frown on his face, not sharing in the mirth Jilot was having at the reunion at all, the small boy positioned himself in front of his Ursa friend, two hands balling into little fists. "You better stay away!" he called out to the villain, spreading out his other two arms protectively, as well as brightening the two bolts atop his head on impulse. As Vibe questioned the lizard infront of him, his apprehensive, pale eyes flicked from side to side, trying to see if perhaps his two comrades were about to jump at them from somewhere from the side or the back. After the brief inspection, his gaze drifted back to the weapon that has held out towards them, though Nebulos wasn't sure of Jilot was actually aware of this fact.
"What are you doing here?" Against all odds, it was the reserved guard who said these words, which -as they often did whenever he said anything- startled Nebulos a little. Masurao seemed to not have moved an inch, but continued to look up at the reptilian teen with a face that could mean interest, as well as being absolutely bored to tears. The last of his sentence echoed off the walls and he remained his calm posture, as if he was doing nothing else but waiting on a bus.
When Gylan had mentioned them, Lunira froze. Her expression mirrored almost exactly that of Nebulos's, except her eyes grew even wider. How did they even get out? They were supposed to be locked up and not released, at least for a very long time. It was one thing that those three had gotten out, but what shocked the black-and-white girl the most was the fact that they were still here.
And Lunira did not like that at all.
Soon, Gylan's explanation was interrupted by one of the said intruders. Luckily, it was only one--and it was Jilot, the weaker one of the trio. Still, this didn't reassure Lunira, for a small whimper came out from the back of her throat. She lept her gaze on the older reptilian, though she felt a bit safer now with the Luminarian boy standing in front of her.
Along with the others who had readied themselves to strike at the alien, Zoelin kept both hands in her lower pockets. It seemed like a relaxed pose on the outside, but actually, she had both of her hands placed on two guns that were hidden inside--a blaster, and a feebler-shooter, waiting if the guy would make a move. Zoelin's eyebrows furrowed, making the glowing eyes turn into casual slits.
"So if he's an old friend, then he should be able to tell us where his pals are. Right?" She asked, although she wasn't expecting a response or not.
"Feh, like I'm gonna tell you kids." Jilot replied simply, eyeing each face that was visible to him. From the last time he encountered them, the teen was sure that their group was smaller. And now they're multiplying like bunny-rabbits? That didn't make sense to him. Then again, most of what Wendy and Kialot told him hadn't made sense to him either. However, the orange-scaled reptile wasn't planning on letting these kids get in the way of their plan.
And as far as he knew, that required to witty banter.
"We're waiting." Zoelin called out.
"Well you guys can wait just a little longer, 'cause there's no way you're gonna mess with our plan!" Jilot knew that somewhere right about here, it'd be a great place to leave off--as mentioned in the Evil-Guy Study Guide book he carried. But, he wanted to kick things up a notch.
"And anyway, it's not like all of you can find us. We've taken out pretty much every lighting in this building, so it'd be very hard to get past the five corridors, eight floors and three hallways just to get to the secret room--where we're getting everything together. " Felling triumphant, Jilot grinned widely. That is, until about a few seconds passed.
"...I shouldn't have told you that."
Pulling a tool that looked like a giant pair of pliers, Wendy pressed a button on the device and got to work burning through the thick metal chains that surrounded the giant vault. "I think it's working..." He said with a satisfied smirk on his face.
Kialot took a few steps back as she avoided the scalding sparks that flew from the metal. "And to think we could have simply used this tool in the first place and saved a whole lot of time." Her glare at her partner intensified as she spoke every word.
Wendy ignored her. "Why don't you go make yourself useful and make sure we have everything ready to go?" He asked, although it was more of a command than a request.
Kialot folded her arms over her chest, fuming slightly. "Don't you tell me what to do--"
The chains and padlock rattled and slunk to the ground with a loud clank.
Wiping the sweat from his forehead Wendy let out a low chuckle and proceeded to turn the nobs to the door and pull the door open. That done, both teenagers poked their heads inside to see what was inside.
"...It's a remote." Kialot remarked dryly, looking at the silver device sitting in a glass case with an almost disgusted expression.
Wendy grinned and quickly lifted the glass casing to hold the remote control in his webbed paw. "It may look like a remote to the untrained and stupid eye, but in fact this remote is very special. You might even go far as to say it's...a life changing remote." He laughed, flicking his tail in one swift motion.
Kialot scoffed at his over exaggeration. "Wow...It looks fascinating. Doesn't it Jilot?" She waited for a response, when none came she turned around to the corner where she sent him. "...Jilot?" She blinked looking around. "Where is that idiot?!" She growled.
--- From behind her guard, Niji listened as he asked the question that was most likely on everyone's minds. And after a bit of back and forth arguing between the reptile and the blond member of their group. The lackey finally and unintentionally revealed his intentions for breaking into the space station.
Niji furrowed her eyebrows, "You don't scare us!" She placed her hands at her waist. "Whatever you and your useless friends are planning, it's not going to work!" The princess cried pointing an accusing finger at the unusually jolly teenager. "We can do this the easy way and you'll return all the weapons you've stolen and give up, or we can do it the hard way and you already know how /that's/ going to turn out." Her digits lit up with bright glowing colors.
Jilot's face paled slightly. He seemed at a lost of words as he finally realized that he was outnumbered, and most likely outmatched. He opened his mouth to retort but no sound came out. "I...Y-you..." He clenched his fist and glared at the young group as if he was about to say something critically important. "....WEEEEEEENDDDDYYY!!!" He shreiked and turned on his heels running in the direction from where he came. "THESE KIDS ARE BEING MEAN TO MEEEE-EEE!!!"
FWOOO YES FREE MOMENT ;;
-------
The Luminarian boy jumped a little at the sudden turn of events, when the reptilian teenager turned on his heel and left abruptly, leaving them standing in their circle of multicoloured light. His mouth dropped a bit and so did his arms, blinking confusedly as Jilot made a run for it, his screechy voice bouncing off the walls. His dropped his protective stance, rather convinced that the lizard's fellow goons were no nearby and chose a posture that looked slightly bewildered.
"I ... Should-should we go after him?" he inquired unsurely. White optics darted up, observing the faces of his fellow teammates. Then they fell upon Gylan who was, despite anything, still injured and probably not entirely capable to battle if he had to. On the other hand, Nebulos didn't know if it was smart to rush into things like this. Jilot had just given his comrades's position away, so it wasn't too hard to guess where he was headed. But he assumed they just couldn't let them get away. And thus his gaze roamed the faces of his friends for a second time, wondering if perhaps any of them had an idea.
The stoic boy still hadn't moved, save the single eyebrow that had risen for the occasion when the lizard had made a run for it. Something that suggested he was somewhat unimpressed crossed his blue face and a faint noise brew at the back of his throat. But he remained, as ever, silent. Green eyes darted to the side, observing his protectee as she had begun glowing, apparently ready to jump into action. This done, he looked back out in front of him where the teenager had disappeared to. His first instincts told him to chase, but his brain told him to be cautious. Even though this Jilot character didn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the box, there was always a possibility he could be leading them into a trap. His attention shifted to Nalo momentarily, aware of the fact she had the ability to see places they couldn't if they were not illuminated, observing if perhaps she saw something up ahead. All these ideas were, as most of them usually were, kept to himself. After all, it was his job to stay at the princess's side, go wherever she went. Which was exactly what he was doing right now.
Eyes blinked a couple of times in confusion as to what took place. First, there was Jilot ready to blast them with whatever weapon he had in his hand, and the next...He just ran for it. Lunira couldn't stop staring at the same direction in which the teen had left, which left her completely in confusion before she looked to the others. Nebulos, having voiced her question, only left the Ursa to nod, wondering the exact same thing.
She looked down the hall again, wondering if his cohorts would be rounding the corner very soon. Well, by the way he gave away their location, Lunira realized that wasn't likely, and she couldn't hear them save for the echos that came from Jilot's screaming.
"Well....that was anti-climatic." Zoelin muttered, releasing the grip on her weapons as she lifted her hands to fold them. Tilting her head to the side, she kept her gaze on down the hall. Hearing Nebulos's question, Zoelin turned her head away briefly to look to the others wondering if they knew whether to go for it or not. Instead of waiting long enough for a reply to the illuminated boy's inquiry, the red-furred girl gave a light-hearted shrug.
"If we go after him, we could stop them before they get ahead on the weapon...Or, we could wait for them to come to us." Her eyes went to the ceiling as she pondered this. Finally, she looked back at the doorway and pipped up once again. "I vote we go after him."
--------------------------------
As Kialot looked out of the door, a high-pitched squeal answered her question. ". . .Idiot." She huffed once again. Wendy came up to the doorway as well, hearing his name being screeched and echoed along the empty halls.
"It's for you," Kialot smirked. Wendy rolled his eyes and fiddled with the silvery remote.
"Never mind that. From what he's screaming about, it seems we have visitors. A perfect time to test this little baby out. Wouldn't you agree, Kialot?"
The female repitilian shrugged. "It still looks like an ordinary remote to me."
"It's not a remote." He retorted once again before walking ahead. "You'll be sure to see that soon enough." Again, his cohort shrugged as she followed him, arms folded together. The two had barely made it down the hallway long enough before the leader was thrown backwards into Kialot, both going to the floor. Above them, the more excited, yet less intelligent of the trio was pointing behind him.
"I-it's those darned kids again!" He whined, shifting weight on each foot as he began to relay the small tale that happened not a few minutes ago. When he was done, instead of concerned glances Jilot was faced with two very annoyed and raged stares.
"YOU TOLD THEM WHERE WE WAS?!" Came Kialot's enraged reply.
"...heheh Oops?"
"YOU IDIOT!!" Just as she was about to run and ram the lackey in the head, Wendy held up a hand.
"Hold on now. We can use this to our advantage. Remember, we have this." He held up the remote-looking device once more.
"Ooooooooh, what's that? A remote to a new TV?" Jilot asked, only to have Kialot hit him on the head. However, she couldn't help but laugh at his comment as well.
"IT'S NOT A REMOTE!" Wendy yelled, irritated at the second comment of the device. Clearing his throat to compose himself, he walked past his two lackeys before walking ahead. "You'll see soon enough. Like I told Kialot, this is a life-changing remote."
"The only life changing thing I see is whether or not we'll get 5060 buh-million channels with that thing," Kialot muttered.
Niji dropped her hands at her sides as she watch Jilot run away with a mixture of confusion, annoyance and a bit of pity. Blinking twice to clear away those emotions, and listening to the questions and comments of her teammates, Niji nodded her head, "I agree with Zo, we should definitely go after them." She gave a glance toward the corridor before continuing. "They still have those weapons, and we can't let them escape with any of them." She shook her head for emphasis and took a few apprehensive steps forward. "Come on, it's 3 of them against all of us. We can beat them." She smiled with determination at her team and her eyes landed on Gylan with concern. "Oh, are you sure you're going to be okay Gylan?" She asked worriedly. -------
Nervously Jilot glanced from side to side. "W-wendy, th-those kids are going to get us!!" He cried frantically, sinking to his knees. "I-I don't wanna go back to jaaaaaaaaail!" He whined in his high-pitched voice causing the female of the trio to slap him.
She jerked the frightened reptile up by his collar. "SHUT UP!! No one is going to jail or getting beaten up or whatever!" She shook him once more, "Now you are going to get a grip or I'll kick your butt myself!" The girl narrowed her eyes at the wide-eyed Jilot, "Get it?"
Jilot gulped. Suddenly those kids didn't seem so scary anymore compared to his comrade. "G-got it." He nodded quickly.
Kialot rolled her eyes and shoved him back on the ground roughly. "Good." She went back to ignoring his soft whimpers. She turned back to Wendy. "If you're done playing with your little toy, we need to think up a plan to get teach those brats a lesson about messing with us. " She gave her knuckles a quick crack. Oh yes, this had been a reunion she had secretly been hoping for when they escaped. No one locks her in a disgusting kiddie prison and gets away with it.
Still pressing buttons, Wendy's eyes shifted quickly to the female. There was a wicked glint in his eye, a glint of intense satisfaction at what was soon coming. "Oh, don't worry...We'll teach those snot-nosed brats a lesson in payback they'll never forget." He smirked setting the remote to the lowest option on the device; 'Earthling/Human' setting, and configuring the appropriate location. That done, he gave a hearty chuckle. "And now we wait for the entertainment to arrive."
Ynda had been sitting on Vibe's head all the time, as she would've been able to spot little to nothing walking on the floor being the size she was. All the while, she had watched and listened carefully around her, as her sensitive ears would come in handy here. She'd hissed under her breath at the loud sounds the others made and just shaken her head when Cyril was being silly while choked by Vibe.
It was when the enemy was spotted that she hissed louder and extracted her claws, ready to attack - as she had no weapon with her. When she saw Jilot escape, she jumped from Vibe's head towards Cyril, fishing him out of the air by his tail and pulling him along when she landed on the floor.
"What are we waiting for?! After him!" she exclaimed, starting to run in the direction Jilot had fled - while still holding poor Cyril's tail in her paw.
