We've actually had quite a lot of these back on the old 1/362 RPs. ^^; I know KND is a Kids' Show/cartoon, but Mr. Warburton just could have had a divorced family in the show... or an abusive parent. (I can just see Rachel having either... I can see her going through a lot, and really bottling it up inside, and Nigel would be her rescuer. ^^ I love dramatic fluff like that! *sigh*)

Annie: OO ... ><! RAAA!!! *tackles her, and wraps her arm around Rachel's neck* Fine! Then I shall kill you like your pathetic father, Ryan!

Rachel: [thinking] Not if I can help it... >< *bites her arm, causing it to bleed*

Annie: Ah! *yelps, drawing back* Why you--

Rachel: *running towards the front door, for her life* I'm outta here!

Annie: *grabs a small knife, throwing it* YAH!

Rachel: *anime-like gasp of fear/hurtness* ... OO *her eyes start to tear up, taking a look at her left arm that is cut from the knife* Oh! >< *crying lightly, trying to ignore the pain*

Annie: Now, Rachel... it is time... to join your father! ;D

*DASK!*

Annie: OMPH! >< *hits the ground on her back*

Rachel: AH! ... Who? W-who are you?

Chad: *in a cloak, hiding his voice* No time to explain, come with me if you wanna live, kid! *takes her hand, and guides her out of the house and to the park, to safety*

Rachel: W-where are we going?

Chad: You are safe now. Stay here, I have friends nearby who will take you to a new home. Okay?

Rachel: Who are you?

Chad: My name is Chad, Numbuh 274 of the Kids Next Door. We protect kids from evil adults, like your... "mother".

Rachel: OO The Kids Next Door?

Chad: *nods* Now stay here. Friends are coming near, and I need to get back. *rushes off*

Rachel: Oh! ^^ Okay. Thank you, and goodbye! *waves*

Rachel: And then, you found me, Nigel... Oo ... Nigel? *looks over to him*

*Nigel has his head turned, crying*

Mrs. Uno: Nigel, dear? Are you alright? *touches his shoulder* Oh sweetie, what's the matter?

Nigel: L-leave me alone! >< *sobbing, and rushes out*

Rachel: Nigel... *gets out of bed, and follows him out of the house, and to the top of the treehouse*

Nigel: *sitting on top of his small treehouse (before the KND-treehouse)* ... *sniffle* H-how cruel... sh-she is so kind... I--I can't believe someone would actually... I... *sniff, sniff* *wipes his tears*

"Nigel?"

Nigel: *whips his head around, seeing Rachel standing there* R--Rachel... H-hi... *wipes more of his tears away*

Rachel: Y-you're crying... because of me... Oh Nigel.. I... I'm sorry...

Nigel: No, please! Don't be, it is not your fault! *hiccup!* I... I just cannot believe ANYONE would hurt you! Especially your own... mother... Oh Rachel...I I'm so sorry... *looks longingly at her, and strokes the side of her bandaged cheek*

Rachel: N-N-Nigel... ... I'm okay, as long as you're with me.

Nigel: OO ... R-really?

Rachel: Of course. ^^ *hugs him* You're my best friend, Nigel!

Nigel: O///O ...I...um...

Rachel: ... *kisses him lightly on the lips for a moment*

Nigel: Mmm?

Rachel: *blushes, pulling away quickly* I--I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking clearly.

Nigel: NO! ... No, it's okay. I--I kinda liked it, actually. *twiddles fingers, smiling sheepishly*

Rachel: Oh?

Nigel: *nod*

Nigel&Rachel: ... *draw closer, and kiss again*
