I also loved the 01 commercials/promos!

Tai: What it is?! It's a DIGITHON! 7 digimon shows, all morning long! ;D

All: YAY! *cheer*

TK: I can't believe it!!!

Tai: Well are you gonna get ready, or are you just gonna stand there all day?!

Mimi: Oh, I've got to get my hair & nails down!! =3

Tai: Eat up Agumon, you're going to need the energy! *stuffs his mouth with food* It's a big 7 show digithon! Next Saturday morning, all morning long, only on Fox Kids!! ;D

Mimi: Wow! It's even bigger than a sky scraper!! ;D

And that last line came from another episode with a scene I love! From the episode when those Gazimon kidnapped Tokomon! But when they first got there Mimi was kidnapped and taken away to a bathroom...(those little digimon love just taking people. XD)

And everyone rushed after to save her, then they get to this room and Sora notices Mimi's clothes are on the ground...

Tai: Mimi, we're coming!!

Sora: Wait! Don't go in there!!! ><

Tai: *pulls back the curtain* Mimi!!.....

Mimi: *in the tub, back turned washing* Oh, wash, wash, wash awaaayyy!! ^-^

Tai: O______o

Izzy: OO...Uh..M-mimi, we're sorry...O//O

Mimi: Huh? *turns, then dunks down in the water* GAH! HAVEN'T YOU TWO HEARD THE PHRASE KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING?! >< *throws rocks and such the two*

Tai: GAH! Wait! Mimi we came to rescue you and...HEY! ><

*He & Izzy get hit, Sora closes the curtain*

Sora: I believe I said..."don't go in" '-_-

Yep! Yep! Yep! ^^ I think it's the voice actors and the puns and the character's personalities! They're all so different but relatable and lovable, and they all find some way to work togethre! It's about more than the adventures, it's also friendship! That was a big thing in 01...the group was separated a lot but they always found a way to come back together...it was that unity that kept them strong! Same for 02 and 03! ^^

I LOVE DIGIMON 4-EVAH! ;D

Followed by Season 4, that the only good thing about it was to me were the humans... Not into the spirits, but I for one think they should have had actually digimon partners. ^^

I can already see Kouchi with Gotsumon because of those few episodes I've watched before. They're totally a team!

Does anyone else think that each season of digimon was an extension of the previous one?

Season 1: partners

Season 2: Partners + Armor + DNA-Digivolving

Season 3: Merging with Parnters in Digivolving

Season 4: Becoming digimon...


Even the digivices themselves took on the basic shape of the first digivice with added fieatures.

03's digivice LITERALLY looked like a merging of 01 + 02's digivice. And 04 kinda slimmed it down but kept the basic shape.

But 05 kinda just looks like an ipod to me. '^^ (i haven't seen much of it but from what I have seen the Agumon in 05 has like the BIGGEST NOSTRILS I've seen....compared to 01 & 02. '^^ That was my opinion though, I feel out laughing when I saw him bc that's wha tmade him so different than the first Augumon, was that he was much bigger. Not GIHUGIC but he was bigger a bit in size, especially his nose! *giggles* ^^)

But yeah, what do you guys think? ^-^


OH! And do you prefer old and wise Gennai of 01 or the young and wise Gennai that appeared later in 02? *giggles* ^^ (i thought he was cute! ^_^)

Half and half. DDS didn't have any 'human-evolotions'. Pretty much going back and fourth getting wild digimon and turning them back into eggs and releasing them back into the digiworld, ... and chasing after a wild boy who thinks he is a digimon who was raised by a digimon who was killed. ._. Mm..

But pretty much that and DATS (from Digimon World 4)

That's what I covered mostly.

... And I fully agree over what Rika said in the Crossover Quotes thread; Takuya is very hott indeed. ;D

Ah...well I only saw one episode of season 5 and not even the whole thing then. '^^

After season 3....I found myself getting very upset @ the digimon endings so i stopped watching them as constantly...that and school came and such.

But yeah, when in 01 they were like, "You can never ever come back or see your digimon again"...I cried for like 2 weeks thinking it was true....didn't know they had an 02.

02 I was upset b/c they didn't specifiy if TK/Kari got together, but Matt & Sora did and I was TOTALLY a Taiora shipper.

Aaaaanndd 03 Henry's dad's decision just made me really mad. I think he could have found another way to help the kids....for him to use Terriormon as a test for that new program without knowing the effects it would have...I mean without even consulting Henry about it...it was pretty low. And I was VERY upset with him myself.

And I thought 04 would be like a continuation of 03 considering how they left if off with Takato finding the opening to the digiworld still active in Guilmon's old hiding spot....and I got really excited and was like, "Oh! They may do the same thing they did with 02! And bring them back just older!"

But 04 wasn't like that at all...(plus at this point Fox 24 had gone off the air so that took away my source for watching digimon T-T And I nver got the chance to see 04 from beginning to end...though I do have digivices for 01-04! ^^

But yeah...still I did notice...well not a "Repetition" of each season, but sort of like a ...."digi-volution" if you will. ^^ Each season, to me, seemed to build off of something that was dominant in the previous one...I thought that was pretty neat! I just wish we could have followed the lives of the characters we knew from 01/02...ya know? Like maybe their kids since they all had digimon too at the end of 02.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE 03! (Rika was my favorite character, hence my name ) But I think it would have been nice just to follow the first digidestined, like maybe even see what they did as grownups while their kids did Digi-adventures.

Plus I always thought that Ms. Nami (The teacher in 03) looked and sounded EXACTLY like adult Kari (so I thought it was her, I really did! XD) And Yamki looked JUST like TK from 02, but his voice was sooooooooooo deep! XP But I thought it'd be SO COOL if it really WAS TK & Kari and somehow the old digidestined came back and the tamers found out everything (including the digidestined) in the show were real! ^^

Actually, the one who voices Ms. Nami (Lara Jill Miller) really was the same person who voiced Kari from digimon 01 and 02....they liked her voice so much, so it was almost like a cameo!

After 03, I got kinda confused with digimon and it kinda went downhill for me from there. And I'm a Taiora shipper, so I was WTF-ing when I saw Matt and Sora together. My exact thoughts when I saw the pairing:

When the heck did that happen?!!

Seriously. It's like they build a flirty, but besty frienship between Tai and Sora....then make Sora decided randomly "I'll go out with Matt now". Sad.....

And (this in my own little world as I've mentioned before) TK and Kari did get married. I remember reading it somewhere that there was discreet proof and the storyboarders didn't feel it necessary to say it...

Also, someone told me (with info) that there were supposed to be four digi-marrages in the epilouge, but only two were decided to make clear.

1. Matt/Sora (of course, rub our noses in it ><)
2. Ken/Yolei (cute, with all the babies)
3. TK/Kari (why, why didn't they say it out loud?! ><)
4. Izzy/Mimi (well, they were the same age...and I could see this happening)

[EDIT: Oh, and to me, 04 evolved the "swipe the digivice thing" from 03....as well as becoming actual digimon. Only instead of swiping cards they swiped digi-data/spirits. I just saw a little bit of each previous season in the one tha followed it; i thought it was pretty cool. ^^)

O....M....G!!! REALLY!! MIMI/IZZY! AH!! XD

Okay, I admit, I did ship them second to Joe/Mimi...but Joe/Mimi was predominantly based off of 01 interactions, ya know?

* The both complained a lot (but for different reasons '^^)

* And I liked how they both had unique hair colors! (blue & pink! ^^)

* And Joe left Mimi a box of chocolates in the movie! (though she wasn't there to get it, it fell off her door if I remember correctly. '^^)

* And of course he blushed when Gomamon tried to get him to admit Mimi was charming.

I mean, I thought they were so cute!

But Mimi/Izzy had their moments too, ya know? Both were 10, and they did share several episodes together! I specifically remember them growing on me at some point. '^^

But I thought Mimi had gotten with that character Michael from America that made a cameo when Yolei got her egg of Sincerity!! B/c her kids hair looked JUST LIKE MICHAEL!!!! I rembmer thinking that!! XD

But yes, I remember reading that the storyboard people didn't feel the need to go into detail about the marriages too. I forgot where but I read it online, if I could find it I'll put it up. ^^

But it's just...ya know, TAI/SORA HAD SO MUCH CHEMISTRY! Childhood friends! Both loved soccer! They just matched! And Tai didn't want her to date Matt, i remember in the Christmas episode where he was being nice to her when he saw she had baked cookies for Matt. And he was like, "Oh....I-I see...<=) " He didn't wanna let her go. And I wanna know what made Sora attracted to Matt int he first place b/c if it's just because he was a rock star then that's not cool. <_< I bet it really ate Tai up inside. I remember Agumon telling him, "Tai, you've really grown up!" ...I mean, it takes a mature person to let go of someone you really love/care about so they can be happy. But I felt sorry for Tai.

And mad at Sora! >< And she really didn't deserve Tai, so Ha! He's too cool for her! *folds arms*

Oo....sorry, I rambled...'^^

Never really did like Matt/Sora...even if they are cannon, they're the one cannon couple I really don't support. T-T I just don't see how they could've got together. I really don't. Especially when Tai is Matt's best friend and he liked Sora.....

But erm...*Ahem* yes....I DIDN'T KNOW MIMI/IZZY GOT MARRIED!! XD AH!! lol!

I wonder...the people they DIDN'T tell us about...like Davis and Joe and Cody....who did THEY marry? Because EVERYONE had kids!! XD ^^

XD I understand where it sets out from though ^^ I prefer Joe/Mimi by a longshot though ^^ They were actually standing next to each other at the ending of 02, so in my fandomworld they did get married x3 I think they somehow did connect with one another, especially that moment in Season 1 where Joe stays by her side while the others leave. And he blushed when Gomamon brought up the fact of her being charming XD That was cute ^^

Another funny Joe quote that cracked me up while watching the episode yesterday! ^^

XDD He's always worrying! I also liked Etemon as the villain ^^ His cameo was short, but he was rather funny:D I liked it how he was some sort of Elvis impersonator and often said "Ahah-huh" after a sentence xD

I love when TK talks about keeping the light inside bright enough to outsine the darkness. One of the reasons I loved him so much in 02! (Really if Kari didn't want him I would've taken him! But they go together so I'll take Davis instead. ^^ He's just as determined and encouraginas as TK...just...in a more...eccentric way. '^^ *giggles* ^^)




Yeah, so...AZULONGMON ALSO SHPIPS TK/KARI!! ;D He practically just explained why they should be together...BECAUSE they are different than the others. And they just...WORK! YAY TAKARI!!! <3 <3 <3

Dudes, I think I just found out that the guy who voices Yomaki from Tamers sounds awfully famillar to BlackWargreymon... Awesomeness! :3 And for some reason, Mummymon and... whatsherfacemon remind me kinda of Jessie and James from Team Rocket of Pokemon, but that's just me. ;D

Revenge of Diaboromon! :3 This is the only Digimon anime movie I haven't seen yet! I've watched Battle of Adventurers, Locomon (TAMERS) and Island of Legendary Digimon (FRONTIER)

Not to mention the original 3 part "Digimon, The Movie" that was aired in America! ^^

I haven't seen the Tamers movie yet. '^^ Or Frontiers...

But I LOVE that scene in "Revenge of Diaboromon" where Davis finds out that Kari's gone into digiworld and he goes crazy trying to get to her and Ken's just holding his shirt like, "Davis...calm down...you're not goin after Kari..." and Davis is just being all crazy. XD

I caught it earlier this year. I really liked it. ^^

I'd like to see the episode (if it exists) that tells what happened between seasons 1 & 2...in the clip I posted Azulongmong says that they had to take the power away from the other digimon for them to evolve to Ultimate in order to fix the digiworld. I'm pretty sure that took took place between the two seasons.
