Nebulos/Lurina: U-um...Numbuh 1? W-we need help over here..

1: Oo...*concerned* What is it guys? What's wrong, where's Niji, wasn't she with you guys?

Lurina: Th-that's the problem...She's sleeping...We think.

Nebulos: She's on the floor as sleeping, we um, we can't move her. We don't want to leave her on the floor.

1: Oh, um...W-well, lets go get her to bed then guys. *gets up off the couch*

Nebulos: *studying her hair closely* It's lost a bit of its colour... Maybe we should call a medical operative or something?

Nigel: Let's get her into bed first, she'll be more comfortable there than on this floor.

EVE.2: EVE.2! *zooms over to Niji, shooting her "carrier laser" from her midrif and lifting Niji off the floor* Directive?

Rachel: Oh right! You can put her in my room, EVE.2, I don't know where her room is, we've just met her.

EVE.2: *carefuly hovers inside Rachel's room*

*the others follow*

EVE.2: *gently lies Niji on the bed* N-niji? *looks at her worriedly*

Lunira: I hope she'll be alright.

EVE.2: *prints out a sheet of diagnostics on Niji's vital signs*

Nigel: *takes the sheet and analyzes it* S-she really shouldn't have been out there as long as she was!

*Rachel also looks*

Rachel: Oh my. The usage of energy is a fragil thing with her species.....she may be recuperating for hours....

Nebulos: *hops on Nigel's head* Someone should look after her to make sure she's okay.

Lunira: It could even be more than one of us...

Nigel: *nods* I agree...

EVE.2: *sees how pale Niji's colors are*.... *looks at others, then points to herself, then Niji, then herself again* Directive.

Nigel: Hm?

EVE.2:

Nigel: Oh! ^^ Thanks EVE.2. Would anyone else like to stay with her.

Kyra: *volenteers* I'll be happy to. We shouldn't leave a follow operative behind.

Zinc: So will I! *raises, on all four paws* No matter what, I'm there for my friends.

Rachel: *smiles* Numbuh Zi...

Zinc: ^^

Kyra: You know, I think we have a nice group here. Three will be enough.

Lunira: Are you sure, Numbuh 7.sol?

Kyra: Positive. ^_^

Nebulos: Oh... okay then. *yawns, lightly* *his atennas lightly on and off* Well.. it has been a long day. I guess it's time to head for bed. *smiles, petting Niji's hair* ... Please. *looks out the window to the universe and stars* Please, God. Let Niji be fine after a few hours.. we don't want her to be hurt any longer! ... Please.

Lunira: *puts a hand on his shoulder, smiling sadly* Don't worry, Nebulos... Niji's very strong, all she needs to do is rest. And drink lots of fluids. She'll be better in the morning. *looks out the window with him* I'm sure God is looking down on her, now. *nods, having confidence*

Nigel: ... They believe in God, too? On their planets? *surprised for a moment*

Rachel: *smiles widely* He created the universe, Nigel. All the planets... Adam and Eve, the first two adults on Earth. I bet even.. they created a kid. The first kid. *smiles even wider* God, please take care of Niji for the rest of the night. She needs all the strength in the universe to pull through.

Nigel: *wrapping an arm around her shoulder, then pulling her into a hug* Come now... you can sleep with me in my room.

Rachel: *blushes red* Really?

Nigel: Really, really.

[Renee]

Zinc: *curls up next to the bed* Get better soon Niji. *gently gives her face a lick*

Kyra: *sits down next to Zinc and pats his head* Don't worry Zinc, Niji will wake up in a few hours. She'll be okay.

Niji: *inhales deeply, all 7colors of the rainbow flare around her brightly.*...

Nebulos: Look! *antennas flashing brightly* Her colors are coming back a little! *strokes her hair, the colors are starting to fill in * Oo...*tilts his head slightly* But, that little gem thingy on her forehead is still swirling with colors...a-and her antenna's are still glowing too...Hmmm... *turns to EVE.2* Does that mean she'll wake up soon?

EVE.2: *does a quick scan of Niji* *she nods* Affirmative. ^^

Kyra: *sighs with relief* That's good... Now we just have to wait, I guess...

*About 2 hours later*

EVE.2: *scans Niji and reads off the body temperature that's nomal for her species*

Zinc: Oo....I-is that good?

EVE.2: *nods* ^^ Improvement.

Zinc: Oh, so she IS getting better! *wags his tail happily*

EVE.2: *giggles at how happy he is* ^^

Kyra: Not too much longer now...*places a wet rag on Niji's head*

Zinc: *smiles with a toothy grin* Good! *nuzzle, nuzzle*

Eve.2: Sleep? *whistles lowly, closing eyes*

Nebulos: Oh! I almost forgot. ^^; Yeah... I suppose all of us do need some shut-eye.

Lunira: Hey, where'd Numbuhs One and 362 go?

Zinc: I guess they've already went to bed. *smiles, licking his back scales* *stretches* Mm... *nuzzles Niji, again* Goodnight, Princess. ^^ 'Night, guys!

Kyra: Goodnight, Zincy. ^^ *nods, petting Niji's hair*

Nebulos: C'mon, Lunira. *takes her hand in his* Let's get going, too. I wanna sneak in some of those "cookies" of Numbuhs One and 362 brought with them.

Lunira: ... C-cookies?

Nebulos: YEAH! They're round, and delicous! C'mon!! ^^ *pulls her out of the room, downstairs to the kitchen*

(meanwhile)

Rachel: *getting in her nightgown in Nigel's bedroom bathroom* *gasps, hearing him knock*

Nigel: *from outside in the room, in his new PJs* Hey, you okay in there?

Rachel: Oh! Out in a minute, Numbuh One! *brushes her hair quickly* *gets her flowing, light-white nightgown on* ... *blushes lightly* I hope he likes it.

Nigel: Hey, Rachel?

Rachel: Yeah?

Nigel: Well.. you see, I heard that from scientists that they're actually able to grow my hair back.. but slightly in a different style, and a darker-brown. I was hoping to have your opinion on it.

Rachel: I think it's a wonderful idea, Nigel! I-I mean... to be honest with you, you look kinda... Old. ^^;

Nigel: Really? Huh. Well, I wouldn't want to look old--especially in an adult age. *chuckles*

Rachel: Okay, I'm ready... *slips out of the bathroom, in her flowing white nightgown--similar to a silking-light feel of a dress slip*

*an hour later*

Niji: *eyes flutter open* ...*she shifts slowly in an upright position and blinks tiredly* Wh-what...Where am I?

EVE.2: *awakens* Niji!

Niji: Oo...*turns to look at her* Oh, hi... *stretches a bit* Jumpin' Jupiter! What happened?

Zinc: *raises his head* You kinda...Passed out, your colors faded and everything...Then after awhile you started to glow and your color slowly started to come back... We were all worried about you, you're okay now right? *nuzzles her*

Niji: OO...Oh...*looks down sadly* I-I forgot to warn you guys...I'm...I burn energy VERY fast. I-It could be fatal if I'm not careful...*sighs* I guess my energy level was too low and my body decided it was time for me to relax and decided to put me to sleep...That happens. *fiddles with the golden flower hanging from her necklace* I'm supposed to be montoring it, but I guess I was having too much fun that I forgot all about it... Sorry for making you guys worry.

EVE.2: *pats Niji's head* ^^ *looks at Niji's necklace curiously* Ooooh...OO

Zinc: It's okay Niji, now that we know about your...um...Condition, we'll be better prepared for it in the future. *licks her face* ^^ *notices the pretty necklace hanging around her neck* That's a really pretty necklace by the way.

Niji: Thanks, it belonged to my mother. *her fingers trace over the multicolored jewel in the center of the golden sparkling flower*

*EVE.2 scans the flower pendant in interest*

Niji: ^^ It's pretty, huh EVE.2?

EVE.2: Hm! *nods* *suddenly her eyes droop*.....hibernate...

Niji: hibernate? Oo

EVE.2:...sleep mode....

Niji: Oh, you've been up this whole time heaven't you? *hugs EVE.2*

EVE.2: OO...?

Niji: Thanks for looking out for me! *looks over at Zinc and Kyra who are also asleep. giggles and pets Zinc (lying next to her on her bed) who purrs softly in his sleep and moves in more towards her hand* *she then smiles at Kyra* I am lucky to have such amazing friends. ^^

EVE.2: Niji.....friend. ^^

Niji: Aw, you're my friend too EVE.2! ^^ Now you go ahead and go into sleep mode. It's important you know.

EVE.2: *nods* Affirmative. ^^ *her wings retract into her body and her eyes drop before her screen turns completely dark. She's in sleep mode*

Niji: *smiles at her new sleeping friends, but since she isn't tired, she decides to check on the others, she pushes the blankets off of her and floats out of the room, seeing that it's dark, she takes a deep breath and raises her hand, the shades of yellow in her hair, hand and antennas iilumminate to a bright shimmering yellow, making enough light so that she can see* Hmmm, I suppose I could go for a walk for awhile...Or practice my ablities. *continues on to find a safe quiet place where she can practice*

Nebulos: Is it working?

Lunira: Almost... A little to the right please.

[Nebulos has got Lunira on his shoulders as they try getting the cookie jar off the cupboard.]

Nebulos: Got it! *shifts from one leg to another* They really should put steps in the kitchen, though. How long have we been here?

Lunira: Beats me! Maybe it would've been easier if the main lights were on... But we can't reach the light switch either Good thing you have these, Nebulos! *softly pokes his antennea*

Nebulos: *chuckles and blushes a little* Yeah, I suppose they do come in handy ^^

Lunira: Hang on, I've almost got it! *reaches out for the jar* Just a... little bit... further... Got it! ^^ *puts her arms around the jar*

Nebulos: Yay, good job, Lunira!

Lunira: *lifts the jar off the cupboard* Okay, now we've only gotta-- o0! *looses balance because of the weight of the jar* Whoa!

Nebulos: Whoa! OO

[Both fall back back, landing with a thud with cookies scattering everywhere.]

Nebulos: Oof!

Lunira: Ouch! ><

Nebulos: *rubbing his head* Lunira! Are you okay? *shines his antennea a little brighter to look around*

Lunira: *rubbing her head aswell* Yeah, I'm alright... Sorry about that

Nebulos: That's okay, it wasn't your fault ^^ *holds out his hand and pulls her up*

Lunira: Thanks

Nebulos: I think the jar was too heavy for us anyway *starts picking up the cookies*

Lunira: *starts picking them up too* We'll just take as many as we can carry ^^

Nebulos: I like that idea! ^^ *takes a bite out of one*

[They collect as much cookies as possible until they're both fully loaded.]

Nebulos: I think this should do it!

Lunira: Yeah! Let's go back to see Niji and the others, maybe she's woken up by now.

Nebulos: Let's go! ^^

[Both walk through the empty corridors.]

Lunira: Boy... It sure is quiet in here

Nebulos: Yeah... You'd think in such a gihooic base, there's always someone around... And it's so dark too... *shines his antennea a little brighter*

[They continue walking until suddenly they hear a noise.]

Lunira: OO! What was that??

Nebulos: OO I-I... don't know...

Both: *taking a step towards each other*

Nebulos: M...Maybe it was just... another operative?

Lunira: Yeah, mayb-- AAAAGH!! OO *cookies fly everywhere*

Nebulos: *dropping the cookies too* What??! What happened??!

Lunira: LOOK THERE!! OO

Zarzig: *having Nebulos's flash brighten him* *smirk*

Lunira: Wait a minute, how did you get inside our sector?! *picking up cookies*

Zarzig: *shrug, showing his pinchers* I have my ways... Now. Where's Numbuh 362?

Lunira: Like we're gonna tell you, you big-bug-eyed creep! ><

Niji: *is flying around when she hears a commotion in the kitchen* Hmm, what's going on in there? *floats on down to the ground and pokes her head into the kitchen*

Zarzig: *snaps his pinchers menacingly* Come on you two, just tell me where that cutie of a human girl is?

Niji: *leaning against the doorway* And why would you want to know that?

Nebulos/Lurina: Princess Niji!! *runs up to her*

Niji: *giggles* Hey, guys! Eating a late snack are you? *scoops them up and places them on top of her head*

Nebulos: Yeah! *takes a bite out of a cookie* B-but then we saw him! *glares at Zarzig*

Niji: *crosses her arms and glares at Zarzig* Hey! What are you doing here sneaking around in the dark?

Zarzig: My aplogies if I startled them Princess. *bows slightly* I was just looking for the pretty human girl...I thought I'd pay her a visit.

Niji: *snorts* Well, you're out of luck. it's far too late for visits, and I'm certain Numbuh 362 is asleep by now. That and the fact that you're clearly not welcome here. so why don't you go back to your own sector like you should. *narrows her eyes at him*

Lurina: Yeah, go away! We don't want you here! XP Oh! Are you feeling better Princess? We were all worried...

Niji: Yes, I'm better. My energy is at a stable level. Thanks for taking care of me guys. *turns back to Zarzig* What, you're still here? I thought we made it clear that you leave.

Nebulos: That kind of sounds what I feel like when I've dematerialized, Princess Niji.

Niji: *looks up, confused* I'm sorry?

Nebulos: Yeah ^^ When I feel in danger, I can dematerialize and rematerialize in a different spot! Kinda like how you turn off the light in one place and turn it back on somewhere else. That's how it works. But it takes up a lot of energy, so I don't do it that often. But when I did, there's a perfect solution to recover the lost energy!

Niji: Oh? How's that?

Nebulos: *hands a cookie*

Niji: Oh! ^^ Thank you!

Lunira: Uhh, guys?

Niji: What's the matter, Lunira?

Lunira: *points*

[Niji and Nebulos look, seeing Zarzig still hasn't left yet.]

Niji: For Mercury's sake! Are you still here??

Zarzig: I do insist you take me to that adorable human girl... *flicks his tail*

Nebulos: But it's the middle of the night!

Zarzig: I fail to see why that's a problem.

Lunira: Well, she'll be asleep by now and... and you're not supposed to be here either!

Zarzig: *points at himself with a pincer* I tend to do as I please.

Niji: Well, you can't! This part of the base is a restricted area and not accessable for all GKND operatives. You can't come here whenever you please!

Zarzig: But I'm not just somebody.

Lunira: >< Didn't you just hear what Niji said? You can't come in here!

Zarzig: It would be wise if you kept that little mouth of yours shut, little girl.

Nebulos: Hey! Don't talk to her like that!!
