GKND at the beach

Nebulos: Oh boy, oh boy! *is busy rummaging through a trunk in his room* I can't wait 'til we get there! I didn't know last time I got to use them... Now where did I put them... *leans over the edge of the trunk, his head disappearing in it and his legs dangling* I'm pretty sure I'd packed them in here when I first came...

EVE.2: *chirps* EVE.2 curious ^^ EVE.2 not been to beach yet!

Lunira: Ooh, I bet you're going to love, it EVE.2! It's real fun! ^-^

EVE.2: Database contains information on definition 'beach' ^^ Beau-ti-ful!

Lunira: *nods happily, ribbons floating* ^-^

Nebulos: Aha! *emerges from the trunk, holding in his four hands several small shovels, and uncommonly shaped buckets* Here they are!

EVE.2: Ooh! *hovers towards Nebulos, interestedly scanning the items he's holding*

Nebulos: These are for building sandcastles! *deposits the things on the floor, before looking in his trunk again*

EVE.2: Hmm! *picks up one of the tiny shovels, examining it*

Lunira: Wow, that's a lot of stuff you got there, Neb! *picks up a spiral-shaped bucket, peering in it* So you got beaches on Lumin too?

Nebulos: Oh yeah! ^^ *emerges from the trunk again, holding a small, dainty decorated rake* They're very beautiful, they change colour, depending on how the light falls onto the water. And during the night you can see the stars reflecting in it *moves towards a bag and starts putting all his supplies in it*

Lunira: That sounds pretty ^-^ *starts helping him by putting the bucket in his bag* You must've built a lot of sandcastles back there <=)

Nebulos: Hm <=) Yeah... *nods, antennea bouncing* Well, you know that there's a lot of craftmanship on Lumin. It starts from when you're little, actually... *points around at all the different buckets and shovels* That's why there's so many materials for just building a sandcastle ^^

Lunira: *picking up a cone-shaped bucket* Oh wow! You must be great at building them! ^^

Nebulos: Gosh... ^///^ *shyly puts his hands behind his back, shuffling his feet across the floor* T-Thanks Luni...It-it's been a while though... Im not sure if--

Lunira: I'm sure! *giggles* ^^ Hey, can I help you when you start building? *clasps her hands together* Please? Pretty pleeeeaaaaase? ^w^

Nebulos: *blushing slightly violet* Of course, Luni ^-^ You know you can <=) *turns away shyly, putting more items in his bag*

Lunira: Oh, yay! Thanks a lot, Nebby! ^w^ *glomps him, flinging her arms around his neck and hugging him tight*

Nebulos: O////O?! *almost topples over in surprise*

Lunira: *giggles and lets go of him* I better get packing my stuff myself! I think I have a few shovels too, I'll go get them! ^-^ *starts running out of the room* I'll see you at the ship, Nebby! *waves*

Nebulos: *flustered* Uhh... o/////o ....Y-Yeah... *waves back weakly* ...I'll ship you at the see... OO Er, I mean I'll see you at the--err... *blushes some more, antennea alluminating*

EVE.2: ^^ *giggles, floating over to Nebulos and handing him the shovel* Friend Neb-U-Los better pack everything ^^ Ship leaves in 30 minutes!

Nebulos: ...Huh?... *blinks dazedly, then looks up at EVE.2* ...The ship...? .... Oh! The ship! *quickly turns back to his bag* Of course, the ship! The beach! Now where did I put my trunks? *quickly hurries over to a wardrobe, opening it and rummaging through it*

EVE.2: ^^

Ynda: *moves away from the shower and takes a small walk through the base, watching several operatives getting ready for the beach as she passes different corridors* *grumbles to herself, leaving her paws in her pockets* I can see everyone's running around like idiots for that stupid beach... *eventually stops at Nebulos's room and peeks inside, witnessing Lunira glomping him* o.o *blinks, then smiles at Nebulos's reaction and waits until Lunira's left before entering* *walks over with her arms crossed and one eyebrow raised* What are you getting so worked up about? *climbs on his head without asking and reaches into the wardrobe, taking out his trunks* *jumps off Nebulos's head and gives them to him* You would've seen them if you weren't fussing like a lunatic.

Nebulos: *still busy looking through his wardrobe, unaware that Ynda has entered* ...I was sure I put them in here... *takes and throws out clothes as he searches* We went swimming in the triple hydration hot spring pool just a few weeks ago. Surely they can't have-AHH!!

*suddenly he feels something jump atop his head*

Nebulos: O____O??! *stumbles due the sudden weight, almost toppling over, until the weight suddenly vanishes*

Ynda: *holds out the trunks* You would've seen them if you weren't fussing like a lunatic.

Nebulos: *whips around in surprise, blinking* o____o... Oh! Ynda! *blushes a little due his surprise, still looking a bit flustered* I didn't hear you come in... *looks down to what she's holding, blinking twice* ...My trunks... Oh! My trunks! Thanks! *takes them from her* I guess I was a little too eager searching for them at the bottom to lift my head and search at the top ^^' *chuckles shyly, antennea brightning*

Ynda: *rolls her eyes* I figured as much. Everyone seems to have become that eager, just because of some stupid beach.

[Jas]

Nebulos: Well, it isn't just because of the beach... *glances at his door where Lunira left earlier* ... ...But anyway, *turns back to Ynda, blushing a little and putting his swimming trunks in his bag too* You can't possibly have anything against the beach, right? There's always a ton of stuff to do! Like swimming or building sandcastles, collecting seashells and nice rocks and all... *packs some more things in his bag as he talks* ...That's fun, right? ^^ *looks up at her expectantly*

[Vera9]

Ynda: *pulls a face at the sound of the word "swimming" and shakes her head* No, it's not fun. I have no interest in shells or rocks or whatever, and building sandcastles is a waste of time. I don't care that it's hot; I'll just stay in the shower when I need to cool off. << *looks away* You go and have fun, squirt. I'm staying here.

[Jas]

Nebulos: *looks up at her, his arms holding some sandcastle equipment falling to his side, his antennea drooping, and pouting a little* But why? Don't you want to come with us to have a good time? *holds up his sandcastle supplies, showing them to her* Look! I have lots of tools to build castles! You can borrow them if you like, so you won't have to worry about that either! ^^

Ynda: *sees that innocent, pleading look on his face that is still mixed with enthusiasm, a look that is hard for her to resist* *quickly looks aside, but sounds less firm now* That's not the problem... I... just don't feel like it. You can have a "good time" without me.

Nebulos: But why? *lifts his arms in emphasis, the tools and buckets clattering as he does* Aren't you feeling hot now the airconditioning isn't working? Do you want to go somewhere else? Or... Or don't you like to have a good time with us? *antennea droop a little, arms falling to his sides*

Ynda: *bites her lip when she hears him ask all that, not having the heart to snap a rude response at him* I... don't mind staying here on my own. And I told you, I'll take a shower if it gets too hot for me.

[Jas]

Nebulos: *stares at her, bewildered* But... That's no fun I mean, who wants to take a shower when you're not dirty? That's something only adults would do! ... OO! *stares up at her in shock* You're not turning into an adult are you?? *flings his arms, his tools clattering as he does, almost toppling over due the weight of them*

Ynda: *stares back at him when he's at the edge of freaking out* What the hell? OO I ain't no adult, that's an insult! >< I'm nine years old! *shoots him a glare* You don't see me drinking eeffoc or feeding sugarapas to other kids, now do you? I can see the heat's gotten to you already.

Both words are the opposite spelling of "coffee" and "asparagus". XD; Let's just say they're in Ynda's language because I'm lame and couldn't come up with anything else.
