I don't mind this new one-shot of yours, and I won't mind that special 4th of July picture idea you have. Success and good luck in drawing it as you wish, lead Starlight Soldier, on this national birthday for the United States. Of course, I wonder what might happen if Nigel and Rachel's Galactic Kids Next Door friends tried imagining these two kids during the American Revolution.

I hope that you had a good American Independence Day yesterday, as well, maintaining your support for Nigel and Rachel's romantic friendship. I would imagine that Nigel and Rachel would want to rest on such a day, pondering how close they've become to each other... perhaps with their Galactic Kids Next Door friends watching them approvingly. |

I'm pretty sure they'll become closer in each fanfiction or episode. ^.^ Yes... I said episode, and I meant it. I wanna become head-writer of the GKND spin-off one day, even if Mr. W says no... But you know what? Maybe he will say yes. I'll be so happy. By the way; I have a little triangle oneshot in mind.. please be nice; 362/1/Allie oneshot featuring some of me' buddies of the Panda Warriors. :3 I've gotten the idea from watching a Digimon Adventure 02 episode, and the oneshot involves Rachel giving Nigel fresh-baked cookies as a little early Christmas gift and good-luck charm during his concert. (Nah, he doesn't sing.. I can only see him playing a guitar. ^_^) And then I come across Rachel with the bag of cookies, wanting to wish Nigel luck too but then I realize that Nigel truly loves Rachel when he gives her a concerned look or gentle gaze. (Aww...more piccy ideas!) So yeah... I bet some of the PWs are thinking why haven't I written a fic of me/Nigel/Rachel yet? XD |

(chuckling wryly) If you can believe it, Allie, I actually wonder what might happen if you tried... getting close to Nigel while he was thinking through his feelings for Rachel. You've described your version of Rachel as kind and compassionate, and that's fine by me, but if you are kind and compassionate yourself, lead Starlight Soldier, then by definition, Nigel will have two kind and compassionate girls developing a romantic interest in him. I cannot help but be reminded somewhat of a Japanese cartoon from about 2000 to 2001 titled Tenchi Muyo!, in which one Tenchi Masaki discovers that not one, not two, but five[/b][/u] girls have some sort of romantic interest in him. Um, oh, yeah. Did I mention that these girls look like regular humans, but are really aliens? I'll bet the Galactic Kids Next Door would have a field day trying to figure out how these girls -- or at least some of them -- get their powers. On the other hand, I think Nigel should be happy to be with Rachel as these two kids face down any challenges to kids across the galaxy together.

(sweatdropping massively) Right... I've considered the possibilities, or at least some or them. If you wish to provide the link to this one-shot of yours, DS, if that's what I may call you, then go ahead. Perhaps within the context of the overall choices within Codename: Kids Next Door, I would feel most comfortable if Nigel went with either Rachel or Kuki, but then, I do have a fanfiction model to consider. What can I say?

^ Me too... um... to be honest I actually read a few 1/3 fanfictions back in 2004. ^^;;; (please don't kill me! It was just loads and loads of 1/5 or some 1/Lizzie... and I finally found something different; 1/3. Oh! And a couple of 1/Katie fics too, I was such a gihugic fan of them back in those years.) But I truly love 1/362! <3 <3 ;3 Rachel is kind and compassionate, yet stern in my KND/GKND universes. Like a mixture of Numbuhs 3, Me, and Katie from UTOPIA on the side? But is also stern to adults and evil wedging-teenagers! Oh? No need to worry, lead Nigel/Rachel shipper. I see that Nigel's enjoying Rachel's nuzzle, if in his way. While the two of them are together, I suppose that they can learn some more things about each other that neither of them expected in the past. I wonder what they could actually learn to this end, especially if, say, there aren't any new villains to take down. They should have a good opportunity to recharge, maybe even in the form of a date. Speaking of which, have you considered having Nigel, Rachel, Zarzig, Ruby, Nebulos, and Lunira go on a triple date of sorts?

Whoa.  You know, you've given me an idea, Angel... yet I wonder how Ruby would behave on her date with Zarzig. Hehe. Her temper really gets to her and she thrashes about; just like that! Though maybe Rachel and Lunira could calm her down... Nebby would want to avoid Ruby at all costs I bet, and Zarzig would be so embarrassed... Nigel would too I bet but try to support Rachel by helping out Ruby. Wonder if they would go out on a dinner-date? ^__^ lol. But you forgot Zinc/Zoey.  XD It's okay. I need to really write a 1/362&Zinc/Zoey oneshot sometime... it'd be fun! *nod, nod* Oh and I have a new announcement to make; I hope this thread isn't dead by the time I come back from vacation. ^^;;; I'll be leaving on Tuesday afternoon, my younger sister's birthday that day. My mom, sister, and I will be leaving Illinois and drive up to Michigan to see our relatives for a week. Bella and Jud will be left with my grandmother and my dad. And we'll be coming back on the 22nd. ^_^ Just an FYI towards all... I won't be back until a week later. But a cousin of mine may have a computer so I can update what I'm doing and all. Aha. Take your time with this new story of yours, lead Starlight Soldier... as well as that triple date. I might suppose that such an idea would be natural if those six kids are pairing up, but hopefully, there won't be any substantial disruptions, most likely on Ruby's part. Maybe you can even ponder a scenario in which Nigel and Rachel head back to Earth -- with their Galactic Kids Next Door friends in tow -- to meet their relatives, or vice-versa. I'm sure that Nigel and Rachel will continue to have fun being together all the while.
