(sweatdropping) Rachel looks rather nervous under Donny's "interest", if we can call it that, in her. Nigel will be eager to deal with him in order to reassure Rachel once more, and then, these two kids (Nigel and Rachel) will be on their way to whatever new adventures they'll face... together.

Eegads, I'm offically writing a Nigel/Rachel Galacticy Romeo & Juilet... but with a twist.

I dunno, I was watching this really cute animated movie called Romeo & Juilet; Sealed With A Kiss, and it was drawn/animated by ONE person. It took four years to complete, I was stunned!

But it was such a cute movie, I decided to write my own take at it... I know that Wally and Kuki are totally R&J, but I can see Nigel&Rachel as R&J as well... MusicalHottie always saw them, too. I miss her... I hope she'll return to writing the last and final chapter of Operation: DIVORCE one day.

Wally and Kuki, or Nigel and Rachel? I can see Nigel and Rachel as being of a part of tragic romances, if after some thought. I don't doubt that Kuki and Sonia will be eager to encourage Nigel and Rachel to get together, despite Wally and Lee's shared hesitation. I will be fascinated with this new story idea's development.

There, I said it. XD You see, I've been watching the animated version of R&J, and it's. So. CUTE. They're seals, but my gosh so cute.

I've done some thinking in my head, and let's see...

-Original R&J = Families fighting... I forgot.
-1996 (Modern) = Families over Hotels.
-Pizza My Heart (2005 ABC Family) = Two different pizza places
-Sealed W/ A Kiss (Animated 2006) = Color
-My Galactic version = Clean/Dirty.

I need to post here again, I'm not sure if the guest me counts. ^^; Whenever you want the first chapter, Angel, just contact me and I'll post it!

But I've got another idea for a oneshot, that was inspired by a scene in Princess. (which reminds me; I need to watch the rest of it tonight. )

Well... what if Nigel was invited to a formal-small dinner party in a ship to discuss his leadership skills and such? And he can invite one friend, and he decides to have Rachel as his "date" to get some juicy details out of her why she joined the Galactic Kids Next Door in the first place.

She is overwhelmed once all the aliens lay their eyes on her, wondering why she wanted to join so badly, and what this "special-secret" mission was about. Nigel notices, and says it's a private matter for only Earth KND operatives to know. Rachel is very grateful that he saved her, and then Nigel asks Rachel if he would like to dance with him.

The two end up dancing, and even now Nigel is asking what the mission is about. Once Rachel is about to reveal her deep love for him, a gihugic one-eyed alien crashes the party. (oh noes!) The guests run about, screaming their heads off looking for protection. The alien takes Nigel captive in one of his tentacles, and Rachel faces it off.

... I named the alien Edward, just for "Lulz". XD; (oh geez, another Twilight joke. =P)

Don't worry Allie, I'm pretty sure the guest you still counts. Afterall, your undenying love for 1/362 is still in those posts.

That sounds like a pretty cool concept, especially the part of Rachel facing off with this alien to save Nigel. I wonder if she's got a samurai suit underneath her dress as well( I kid, I kid)?

^ Lol, don't worry. Her dress isn't that formal. It's just simply white and knee-length. But I'm pretty sure she'll take her shoes of to battle with Edward.

Goodness I've got a solution to how Edward "ends". XD; I've been watching too much Courage; The Cowardly Dog. ... Bigfoot's mother. xD

Erm, no need to worry, Allie. Develop your new story idea as you deem appropriate, perhaps including some scenes of Nigel and Rachel saving each other from this one-eyed alien. These two kids' battling partnership should shine through rather nicely.

I'm thinking of drawing Rachel in an actiony-pose in her flowy-dress. I think it would look pretty sweet... maybe with a helmet over her head, since it could be out in outer-space.

Yet I really need to ask this, I just hope people won't be bashing me for this;

Er... do you guys think my version of Rachel is... a "mary-sue"? ^^; She's compassionate, kind, and she's stern if anyone messes with her friends, AKA has a temper. Or authority. Or whatever it is. And most of the aliens in the GKND tend to like her, but Ruby doesn't.

Ruby was actually supposed to be a mary-sueish character until we have developed her more in our GKND RPs in the GKND sub-section. She is jealous of Rachel, and has a very, very bad temper and can attack immediately. Also she has stalking issues; which makes her very more creepy. She can fight like heck, but Rachel can too if you anger her. (Operation: IT, ZERO...)

Yet Ruby has flaws, a hot-temper is one of them. (at least, I think that is a flaw. ^^;; )

Rachel is afraid of heights, and stressed herself out with paperwork and ordering people around on moonbase in the show, but now she's stressed of telling Nigel deep down that she really loves him, more than a crush or a friend. She is still frightened of heights in my GKND universe, and stern if an adult messes with Zinc or another operative; Nigel too.

I've done some research... I don't know if she's a "mary-sue" or not. Can somebody help me out here? ^^; Please, give your honest opinion. I do want to know.

I don't think eitehr version of Rachel is a Mary-Sue. Rachel is rather contradictory by nature, so it only makes sense to her that she has two sides to her character. Besides, you remember that she has faults. She's afraid of heights, she doesn't take myth into consideration, and her pacifistic views have caused trouble for the KND on a few ocassions. So I would say that yes, she still is flawed, which was one of Rachel's great blessings as as a character, she was very much human.

And my version of her still makes a few bad decisions now and then, and she feels very guilty of it later on. (hint; Going on a date with Zarzig after Nigel's death.)

I was only wondering because... well, I'm thinking of finishing up Galactic Angel for good. There's gonna be action and romance, and a couple of songs explaining Nigel is Rachel's guardian throughout the story. (So I Thought will be in the next chapter; Guardian Angel will show how Nigel cares so much about Rachel, risking his life to rescue her and Nebulos from the Adulthood disease.)

Rachel on the other hand will be sucked into her nightmare, not being able to escape it. When things act up, causing it only to be an illusion, Nebulos notices that Rachel's dreaming something of grave danger, and it is revealed that the entire GKND base is attacked by the Dark Master who has caused this disease.

Nigel has a job to do, and make sure Rachel is safe and sound whatever the cost is. Even if he'll have to die again. He'll be an angel still as he encounters his loved ones, but he's alive too. ^^

You're very welcome. Besides, even if you tweek a character's personality, that doesn't stop them fomr being able to be human and make mistakes.

Really? That's awesome! What's you've got planned sounds pretty cool. I can't wait to see you finish this up.

Mary Sues... or imperfections? Nigel and Rachel's thought processes may carry them through whatever crises they must face down, especially the one caused by this Dark Master. I'm sure that these two kids will be happy to be reunited however they can, keeping their personalities as they go. Finish that story as you wish, lead Courting Commander. We'll be happy to read it.

Courting Commanders on Earth... or Starlight Soldiers in space? Perhaps it will be appropriate for me to take up the former and you to take up the latter, if to have Nigel and Rachel keep both Kids Next Door timeframes in check. Some may consider it an odd arrangement at first glance, but Nigel and Rachel should be no less determined to protect themselves and each other in the process of defending liberty for kids everywhere.
