Hm,
I think Earth animals would be easier, considering a lot of our OCs are modeled after animals (like the twinsies, Cyril, Inky, etc.) and creating new alien species might be uh....cumbersome?

Well, I haven't drawn an updated pic of them yet, but Whatsthesitch drew them in KND style Here. The only real difference is that their hair goes over both eyes completely (which makes them near impossible to tell apart). The other two OCs there are Roz's(RohaHat), Vibe and Cyril X3
