Love Ain't No Walk in the Park

Hai! Penna here. Y'know, the newbie chipmunk lover How y'all doing?

Now, I don't know too much about thread starting and such (thus the term newbie) but bear with me ^^;

I thought it might be interesting, since we already have a thread having the boys hook up with their canoned chipette (started by the awesome ~Rika~) and in celebration of the Squeakuel, if maybe we had a similar thread, only instead of canon, we grind against the grain a bit.

Instead, we focus of mixed chipmunk couples. Y'know, like Alvinor (AlvinxEleanor) Brimon (BrittanyxSimon) Theonette(TheodorexJeanette, love this one most) etc. Just for the sake of creativity and "What ifs"

Mind you, there would be two rules:
1- Keep an open mind. If you don't like the idea of mixed couples, that's fine, but don't flame 'kay? It's all in fun and games ^^

2-Keep it PG (Explains itself XD)

Theo: *giggling sitting on a swing* Push me higher Penna!

Penna: *pants* O-kayy! *pushes the swing again*

Theo: Wheeeee!

Penna: *stops pushing and rests* Wow, Teddy! Lookit ....you.... go! *pants* Geez my arms are tired!

Theo: *slowly comes to a lower level* Hey Pens! That was fun! Can you- Penna? you okay?

Penna: Hmm? Oh, yeah Theo. Just a little, overworked is all!

Theo: Oh! *scratches to a stop* You want a turn? I could push you!

Penna: *giggles* Nah, that's okay.

Theo: Really! I could! Pleeeeaaaase?

Penna: ....You sure?

Theo: *nods and pats the swing seat*

Penna: *sigh* Okay. *sits*

Theo: Ready?


Penna: Yup! Ready for take off!

Theo: Okay! Here I go! *struggles to push the swing*

Penna: *swings lightly* You sure you're okay back there?

Theo: Mmm hhmmm!*struggles again,this time getting me a little higher*

Penna: That's it Theo! You can do it!

Theo:

*Alvin and Simon show up from nearby, arguing over something or another. They notice me and Theo at the swings*

Alvin: Just NEVERMIND Simon! *points* There's Theodore and Penna! *cups hands around mouth* Hey Theodore! Working hard or hardly working?!

Theo: >

Penna: Ugh >_>

Alvin: *laughs* You need a little help there? I could get a truck and cable and-

Simon: *twacks Alvin on the back of the head* Allllvvvvvinn ><

Jeanette: Okay, so then, X equals...

Brittany: UGH! >< This is STUPID!!!! *closes her book and throws it on the ground*

Jeanette: BRITTANY! That book is expensive! *picks it up and dusts is off* And it's mine! I paid good money for it.

Brittany: I don't CARE! I just don't get math and I never will! <_<

Jeanette: *sigh* Maybe we should take a break? *turns her head* Hey! Look! There's the guys! And it looks like poor Theo's trying to push Penna! ^//^ *Giggles* He's so cute.

Britt: Pft, he's just a little butterball.

Jeanette: But an adorable one. C'mon, let's go say hi!

Britt: Nah, I'd rather just stay and sulk about math some more. T_T Plus I don't want to be around Alvin...<<

Jeanette: *shrug* suit yourself...

*she go over to the others*


Alvin: AH! MORE LADIES!! ;D I told you the gals can't resist me, Simon!

Simon: Your insuffrable Alvin.

Alvin: THANKS! ;D Oo...I think?

*suddenly they hear*

Rika: Hear it comes Ellie!

Ellie: I'm gonna knock it out of the park!

*they see Rika pitch a ball and Ellie smacks it hard with her bat*

Rika: I GOT IT! I GOT IT!

*the ball flies over and conks Alvin in the head*

Alvin: OW! >< HEY!! @___@

Rika: Oops! I don't got it...

*her and Ellie rush over*

Eleanore: Sorry Alvin, I was practicing to try out for the baseball team this year.

Alvin: *rubbing his head* Ooh...><

Simon: *arms folded* Don't apologize, I'd say he deserved it.

Girls: *giggle*

Alvin: Hmph! Shut up Simon! >//<

Jeanette: *goes over to Theo* H-hi Theodore. ^//^

Theodore: *still trying to push Penna. Gasps, as he wasn't paying much attention before. Slips and falls on the ground* GAH! >< Ooh....@_@

Jeanette: Theodore! *squats next to him, rubbing his back* Are you okay?

Theodore: U-uh..huh? *pretty, blurry vision of Jeanette fuzzes into focus* O///O I-i-i...uh..um...

Rika: *to Penna* Don't you just LOVE Munk-fluff? ;D *giggles*

Jeanette: ^//^ Here Theodore. *helps him off the ground* That was quite a tumble! And...well, I should know! *blushes*

Theo: Y-yeah *thinking What do I do? What do I do?!*

Penna: *sneaks away to Rika's side, as Jeanette takes a look at Theo's face for scratches* *giggles softly*

Rika: *sighs romantically* Awwww....


Alvin: Hey! What about me?! I'm here with a semi concussion! I could have memory loss! Who am I?! Who are you!? Why am I-

Eleanor: Cut the dramatics! Maybe it'll do you some good!

Alvin: ><

Eleanor: Hey Penna! Rika, if I'm ever going to make the team, I better practice some more! Would you mind pitching the ball for me a few times?

Rika: No prob! Hey Pens, you want to be outfield? This way we can try to avoid any more....*glances at Alvin* accidents....

Penna: *glances over at Jeanette and Theo. Theo's on the swing again and Jeanette is beside him. they're swinging lightly, their faces pink* Sure ^^

Eleanor: Alright! See ya Alvin! *flips pigtails over her shoulder*

*The girls all run over to the baseball diamond. Various calls and shrieks of encouragment can be heard*

Alvin: >///> Wait a minute! I'm not through with you guys yet!

Simon: *sigh* Let it go Alvin. Just let it go.

Alvin: *sticks tounge out* Meh! *turns toward the school* I'm going to get my basketball, since no one cares about my concussion! *marches off*


Simon: *shakes head* Alvin.... *turns to walk over to the park bench.*

Alvin: I will sue that girl for every penny she has! Every one, you hear?!

Simon: >_> Nevermind, I've got homework to do anyway. *nose in his book, Simon isn't paying attention. Then suddenly, he knocks right into the bench! He wasn't looking where he was going!* ! ARG! *falls face down in the asphalt*

*footsteps are heard*

Simon: *groans* Alvin, I swear, if it's you again, I'l-

Snobby female voice: Walk much?!

Brittany: *smirks* I swear Simon, you're more clumsy than Jeanette.

Simon: << I just wasn't paying attention.

Brittany: Like I said.

Simon: ugh, a mere minor miscalculation. *sits up, dusts his arms off*

Brittany: ....*bends down so she's directly in front of him, nose to nose*

Simon: O///O B-brittany?

Brittany: Hm...*gently touches his cheek*

Simon: >_o...*winces a bit*

Brittany: You've got a bruise there from falling...*rubs his cheek gently*

Simon: ....*unconsciously leans into her touch as it feels a bit better*

Brittany: *smiles a little, then gets a hold of herself* Um...We should get you to the nurse or something...pft, not that I care or anything.... *goes to pull her paw away*

Simon: *gently holds her wrist in place, keeping her paw against his cheek* I'll be fine....*smiles at her* What you were doing...it was kinda helping the soreness, actually. <=) *leans into her paw a bit more, smiling at her*

Brittany: O///O S-simon...

*they just stare at each other for a moment*

Simon: O///O I'll uh, put an ice pack on it....or something...when I get home...

Brittany: Yeah, you should do that. Y'know, with the ice

Simon: It reduces the swelling

Brittany: ...and it might make you feel better...

Simon: Right...and less black mark...

Brittany and Simon: Yeah....

((Akwarrrrrrrd!))

Brittany: So um, hmph, I have to go! I've got a math test to study for! And....and...people to meet and places to go!

Simon: Me too!

Brittany: Fine then!

Simon: Fine!

*both huff off in opposite directions, their minds fogged with the scene*

Rika: *out in the field* Alright Penna! Put it right here! *punches her glove*

Penna: I-I don't know Eleanor....*nervously gripping her bat*

Eleanor: Don't worry about it, Penna! You'll hit it! I need to practice my pitching if I even have a chance!

Penna: But, what if it hits me? Or my head? Or bruises my arm? Or I miss and fall on my rear end? Or-

Eleanor: *giggles* C'mon Penna! You're worse than Brittany!

Rika: You can do it!

Penna: *swallows thickly*

Eleanor: *winds up* You ready?

Penna: *squeaks*

Eleanor: Here comes! *tosses the ball sharply*

Penna: *swings, missies entirely*

Rika: Nice try!

Eleanor: You ready to hit this one?

Penna:

Eleanor: *tosses again*

Penna: *misses....again*

Eleanor: *sigh* Okay...no problem.....*picks up another ball*

Alvin: *from far away* Uh, duh, there obviously is a problem!

Eleanor: >> Alvin....

Alvin: *cups his hands over his mouth* Yeah! That's right! You're throwing it all wrong! *jogs over*

Rika: Uh oh...

Eleanor: Ugh....

Alvin: Seriously, who taught you to pitch? That is not the way you throw a ball! You gotta uh...uh...*snatches the ball from Eleanors hands* Gimmie that! Y'see? *demonstrates* Wind it up, and follow through, wind it up, and follow through....you try!

Eleanor: *rolls eyes* Fine! *grabs another baseball* Like this?

Alvin: No! *drops his ball and grabs Ellie's hand in his fists* Make sure you follow through, or you'll never get any power behind it.

Eleanor: >///> O-okay....

Alvin: *gently moves behind her, moving her hands the same as his. Forward and back, forward an back*

Eleanor: O////O Y-yeah...I can do that...

*Both out of focus, Alvin continues to rock her hands*

Rika: OO

Penna: Errr....is anyone gonna throw the ball?

Rika: *sits down indian-style; sighs a bit* I think they forgot we're even here. :-/It's like they're in their own little world.

Penna: Oo...you're telling me....*shifts weight to one foot, hand on her hip*

Eleanore: Hmm. ^^ OO! *notices Rika and Penna staring* O//O Um...A-alvin?

Alvin: Yeah? *tigthens his grip around her just a little bit* ^^

Alvin: Hm, I dunno. You know they say a hug from a Super Star brings you good luck.

Eleanore: Hm...yes well, I don't see a super star around here.

Alvin: Ha, ha...very funny...<_<

Alvin: Besides, I bet you probably still don't have the pitch down.

Eleanore: OO! *Turns to face him* You wanna bet Seville?

*nose to nose* (i think that's so cute! *giggles*)

Alvin: *smirks* I never turn down a challenge. >=) Lemme see whatcha got...

Eleanore: Gladly.

Alvin: ^^ *walks over to Penna* Ms. Penna, that bat if you please?

Penna: OO! Ah! *hands him the bat* Of course! Now I don't have to worry about getting hit and...OO...Oop...sorry Alvin.

Alvin: T-T Yeah, that's really encouraging...

Eleanore: *cries from where she is* I'm not gonna hit you! ><

Alvin: We'll see Miss Miller! >=)

Rika: *waves to Penna* Penna! You wanna play outfield with me? Just in case?

Penna: Sure!

Alvin: *bat up* Now, remember what I taught ya!

Eleanore: Oh, don't worry, I'm a fast learner.

Alvin: Oh yeah? Prove it to me!

Eleanore: *takes a breath* wind up...and follow through...back, then forward* HA! *pitches the ball*

Alvin: WOAH! *leans back just as the ball whizzes past* O__O...

Eleanore: *smirks a bit, punches her glove* So, how was that Alvin?

Alvin: *falls back on his rear in shock* O______o...*stares at Ellie*

Elenore: ^^

Alvin: O//O Feh! >< L-lucky shot! *turns, looking around in the grass* Now, where did that ball....

Voice: Oy! Looking for this?

*suddenly Kyle and Peter come up*

Penna/Rika: Guys!! You're here!

Kyle: Yeah, well, we couldn't let you guys have all the fun. *pitches the ball back to Ellie who catches it*

Alvin: I want a do-over! The sun was in my eyes! ><

Eleanore: Pft, whatever Alllvie!

Alvin: O//O Erm...yes well uh...heh-heh...^^

Eleanor: Ha!

Alvin: Feh! *sticks tongue at her* You just try that again! I'll knock it right outta the stratosphere this time!

Eleanor: Riiiiiiiiiight...

Alvin: *smacks his bat angrily on the plate* C'mon you chicken! Hit me again!

Kyle: So, you guys need anymore outfielders?

Penna: Actually...*glances over at the two, who are now snipping arguments at eachother* If they ever get to it again, sure^^ You can never be too careful!

Peter: Cool.

Kyle: Yeah, cool. We brought our gloves with us...

Peter: In case we ran into a game

Kyle: And here you guys are

Rika and Penna: *giggle* ^///^

*suddenly, from the plate*

Eleanor: HEADS UP!

Rika, Penna, Kyle, Peter: Wha?! *all look up to the rapidly approaching baseball*

RIka and Penna: Eeep!

Peter: Oh, I got it! I got it! *dives for the ball, catches it just before it reaches us* There, see? I told you I got it ^^;

Penna: Oh...you got it alright...*sighs* ^///^

Rika: ^W^

Kyle: Nice catch man! *high fives*

Eleanor: Nice job Alvin!!! *rushes over to us*

Jeanette: Y'know...usually I fall off these things, right when I get the to the best part...y'know...the part where it almost feels like you're flying....^///^

Theo: OO D-don't you g-g-get hurt, Jeanie?

Jeanette: O///O Oh, well, yeah, sometimes, but I'm kinda used to falling over myself.

Theo: *swinging a little* Gee Netta, maybe you should wear some knee and elbow pads...*eyeing her scared and bandaged knees* y'know...s-so you don't s-scrape yourself as bad.

Jeanette: Yeah, and maybe a helmet too! *giggles*

Theo: And maybe a goalie m-mask...

Jeanette: A goalie mask?

Theo: O///O Well...what I mean is....y'know...so you don't scrape your pretty face.....*blushes redder* Not that it wouldn't be pretty even with a few scrapes....and...oh!...Oh dear

Brittany: Hm. *nods, looks back at her book*

Simon: *looks over her shoulder* OO...Chemistry?

Brittany: *sighs* Miss Miller says if I don't pass my chemistry exam, she's cutting off my phone privileges and taking my celly away! T-T How can I survive without my celly?!

Simon: OO! Ah, d-don't be upset. Here, Maybe I can help. *sits down close next to her*

Simon: Hm...Ah, I see the probem. ^^
