I don't know how, or why, but this idea popped into my head last night. Let's just say that Tala, Ynda and Zoelin try teaching Lunira a thing or too about saying what she means--or rather, be more outspoken about it.
-----------------------------------------
It was another day in the GKND base, where some of the operatives had the day off. Some of them took this as a chance to catch up on some sleep, play video games, or whatever....others, spent the day with others.
"Let me do it..."
"No."
"Whhyyyyyy?"
"Because...it's my mustard, and you cannot touch. Muah-ha-haa." Inside one of the lounge rooms, Tala Ganmade was displaying on of her pieces of "art" for the others to see, although she was starting to regret placing glitter within the spaces that didn't contain the yellow condiment.
Zoelin Janors was pawing at the painting, though after awhile a green force field had blocked her from trying to pull off the pieces of glitter. A small frown was on her face as she turned back to the yellow-skinned girl.
"I wasn't hurting it, I was just...admiring it."
"Sure. By admiring, you mean going crazy for it because it was shiny?" Another girl asked, smaller than the other two girls, as she looked up from her spot on the couch. Ynda shook her head as Zoelin shrugged.
"It's not my fault."
Tala shook her head as well, though her smile was still on her face. "But I don't want it messed up, the others hadn't seen it yet."
"What 'others'?" Another voice popped into the room, revealing to be a panda-like alien, somewhat shorter than Ynda, walking into the room. Lunira tilted her head to the side as her eyes went straight towards the painting.
"What's that?" She asked, pointing.
"It's my masterpiece. It'll be worth millions!" Tala beamed, thrusting a hand out to add more emphasis to the display. Lunira only raised an eyebrow and walked closer.
"Um....but, what's it supposed to be?"
"I think it's a face...maybe?" Ynda scrunched up her face as she stood next to the girl, folding her arms.
"No.."
"I think it looks like a jiuunube!" Zoelin piped up.
"Nuh-uh," Tala shook her head again.
"I'm not sure it's anything at all, actually," Lunira said softly. Tala placed a hand to her ear, catching only faint of the girl's comment.
"Excuse me?"
"Uhm...nothing?" Ynda shook her head again, now focusing her attention on the Ursaminorian.
"Linnie, why'd you say that?"
Lunira jumped a little, forgetting that Ynda was right next to her. Immediantly her paws went to her ribbons as she started fiddling with them. "I dunno...it's rude?"
"But it's not a bad thing, you're just speaking your opinion right?" Lunira thought about it and only shrugged.
"Maybe..but I don't want to hurt her feelings..."
"You won't hurt my feelings," Tala spoke to her, now closer to the two of them than she was before. She crouched down and stared at the girl straight into the eyes. "Tell me what you thought."
Lunira's eyes widened a little, now a little unsure to answer or not since she was put on the spot like this. "Uhm..."
"Tell me-- Zoelin, don't even think about it." In the background, Lunira could faintly hear Zoelin mutter under her breath as she stood away from the painting.
"Dang...."
"Forget it, Swirly. She's not gonna talk, she can't be assertive."
Lunira lowered her hands a little, as she nodded to Ynda's words. "But I always thought "assertive" meant being openly mean or something.."
"NOPE!" Tala yelled, nearly making the Ursa jump backward. "It can mean a lot of things...I'm assertive all of the time."
"I thought that was awesome?" Zoelin asked, now coming closer to the group.
"Well...I'm awesome-assertive-awesome. There." The telarian folded her arms to prove her point.
"But you said 'awesome' twice."
"Because I'm awesome like that. Now, let's try getting this girl to be more assertive. Who's in?" The yellow girl placed her hand in the middle waiting for the others' response.
"ME!" Zoelin placed a red hand over the yellow one. Both girls looked towards Ynda, who still was looking at them with an unphased expression.
"Well...you two aren't going to get anywhere without me. I'm in."
Lunira smiled as they planned to help, although something in the background had caught her eye. "Uh...Tala?"
"Yes? No, wait, we haven't started the lesson yet. Lunira, stand up tall."
Lunira looked down towards her feet, and then held out two hands. "Um...this is as tall as I can be right now."
"Oh yeah..."
"Oh, oh! Take a deep breath." Zoelin added, pretending to take in a huge gulp of air and exhaling it. Lunira mimicked the action, only to burp from accidently swallowing the gulp of air instead of exhaling it. "Eh...close enough."
"Now, let it out what you want to say, Linnie." Ynda nodded, letting the girl ready to speak.
"Okay." Lunira straightened her back and exhaled. "I want to say that..."
The three girls leaned in to see what their tiny-lessons had to offer, though one expression fell once Lunira had let it out.
"CYRIL'S ABOUT TO STEAL THE PAINTING!!!"
Tala's head quickly whipped around, just barely catching the yellow-brown bird picking up the shiny-mustard art, and taking it into the air. "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Soon, the telarian was in flight as she headed towards to get back her masterpiece.
"Get the pigeon!" Ynda yelled after her, running to keep up.
Zoelin and Lunira watched as the two girls chased the boy around the room, who was now squaking for Vibe to come save him.
"That wasn't what you were going to say earlier, was it?" The scarlet whiskite asked.
"No...but I think that was more important than my opinion from before." Zoelin shrugged a little at Lunira's words, before sighing.
"Dang...I'm surprised he was able to get it before me."
Lunira stared at the chase scene that went on in the room before looking up towards her friend."How long do you think they'll go on like that before Tala remembers she can put that force field back up?"
"Um...Let's not let her remember. At least for not right now, 'cause I want in!" And with that, Zoelin whirred her two tails almost like a helicopter and flew after the girls and boy. Lunira only giggled while watching.
"I wonder when's lesson two..."

And there you have it! Yeah...not that great, but I think it was funny. Lol, I hope Cyril can fly for a long time.
I hope I got their characters right....it was fun to write them, though.
