I'm ready, I'm ready!! ^^ ;D ---------------------------------------------- "Nali, are we there yet?" A little boy with black hair and grey skin poked his sister's arm for what seemed like the 10th time in three minutes. The older girl with Pastel rainbow hair rolled her eyes, slightly distracted with a purple handheld device in her hands. When no response from his older sister came, Neon pouted, and poked his sister's arm again, this time more forcefully. "Nali, do you hear me talking to you?" Nali glanced at him from the corner of her eye, "Yes, I hear you, Neon. I'm just choosing to ignore you, right now." Came her simple reply, she went back to pushing buttons on her device, "Now hush up, I'm configuring my microchips." Neon rolled his eyes and leaned back into his cushiony seat, glaring at the stars as they passed by, "You're so boring Nali..." He uttered. "All I wanted was to play with my big sister but noooooooo, you're always too busy..." He pouted. The statement drifted into Nali's ears and she glanced at him again. She hated it when he did that pout of his. He looked so sad, and it made her feel incredibly guilty. Come on Nali, you can fight it this time! Fight the pout! Don't give- She rolled her eyes with a sigh, "Okay, to answer your question, we'll be there very soon, but in the meantime, what do you want to play?" At the word 'Play" The boy's electric green eyes brightened, "I wanna play I spy!" Nali sighed again ruffling his wavy black hair, "All right. But you have to promise me that you'll let me finish working after wards okay?" Neon bobbed his head happily, "Kay, I promise! But one more question..." Nali groaned exasperatedly, "What is it?" She looked at her younger brother wearily. "How long will it take until we get there?" Nali narrowed her eyes at the five year old, "Ask me that one more time and you're riding in a force field kid..." Neon's eyes widened at the threat, "Mooooooooom!!! Nali's being meeeeeeean!" He whined. From the drivers seat, Niji's turned her head from the front passenger seat. "You two behave yourselves back there. Nali, stop threatening your little brother." The eleven year old sank back in her seat, "Yes, Momma..." She muttered, glaring at Neon who merely stuck his tongue out at her, A shaded man glared his throat, catching the five year old's attention, "Neon, be nice toward your sister..." Neon nodded, "Sorry..." Nali patted his head a bit, as a sign of forgiveness. The she bit her lip hesitantly before asking; "Hey, you don't really think I'm boring do you?" She had to ask, she hated to be called boring. She really wasn't all that boring was she? She liked to have fun, it's just that electronics and stealth were- Neon shook his head, "Nope! I just said that so that you could play with me, and it works every time." Nali's eyes widened. She could not believe that she had been tricked by a five year old...But at least he was happy, that's all that really mattered. "Okay...I spy with my hazel eyes something..." She looked around to think, "The GKND Headquarters!" She cried suddenly, "We're finally here Neon..." She whispered, trying to hide her mounting excitement. ---------------------------------------------- I hope that was okay. ^^;

That was perfect, Renee, thanks! X3

"Now, do you have everything?"
It was possible that the father had already asked this, but he didn't seem to care as he glanced over his shoulder at his children, walking ahead of them. The Galactic Base was large, and they would no doubt get lost on their own, so he and Nalo had seen fit to lead them to the large conference room, where the new Sector SUN was being assembled.
Behind him, two girls were following his lead, both of them as different as their parents. One with black hair, one with the lightest blonde, both of them walking in synchronization as the slightly smaller one struggled to keep up with her sister.
With golden-tipped fingers clutching the sleeve of her sister's shirt, Soare Ganmade looked nothing less than absolutely panicked. Social situations were never her best, and now she was being thrown into a situation where she was being forced to meet a group of people at once. The girl was positively shaking, ducking her head to hide her face behind a mass of golden curls.
Her voice was nothing more than an airy whisper. "K-Koyu. . ."
She wanted to ask Koyu to tell Etoile and Nalo to take her home, but the words wouldn't come. So she pressed closer to her sister, hoping that she would be lost behind her sister's impressive aura.
On another side of the base, another family was also striding toward the room, this one with distinctly wolfish traits save for the mother. But she didn't care about this obvious different, simply because she thought of her offspring as the cutest things to walk the earth.
"And they have training rooms?" the younger girl asked her mother, hoisting her bag up further on her shoulder. Her large ears flicked around, picking up various sounds, and she glanced back up at her parents with piercing green eyes.
"Yeah," Tala enthused, beaming at the girl. "And a huge cafeteria and everything! You both will love it!"
Nodding slightly, Remmy clutched the bag closer, taking in everything with a gaze that was nothing if not observational. She seemed intent on memorizing all the details of the halls as she was led up to the conference room, already gaining a taste for the adventure to come.
-- By the way, since Jas asked:
I think it's safe for us to assume that any of the kids related to each other (like Soare and Koyu and Remmy and Blaidd) all know each other. The others are meeting each other for the first time. OR maybe they all have a vague knowledge of each other, but not that much. I don't even KNOW. Anyone have any thoughts? XD

Great start, guys...hmmm...GOT IT!..and Jas gave me permission to write Nebulos, so the MIB won't come after me. :C --------------------------------------------------------------
"Wow, it's been awhile, hasn't it?"
"Yeah...Do you really think she's ready?" A young man, smaller in height than all of the other aliens that were gathering in the room, asked his wife. There was clear evidence that he looked very worried, uncertainty was written all over his face. His wife, who was about as tall of him, nodded, knowing he asked this about the fifth time today.
"Yes," she nodded. "Nebulos, she'll be fine. She's old enough." Her words seemed to fall on deaf ears since he didn't look convinced. When he looked around again, seeing all of the other parents with their kids, some even taller than they, Lunira placed a paw on his face to make him face her.
"Nebby...Repeat after me. 'Nellie will be fine." Okay?"
"Nellie wil be fine...okay?" Nebulos repeated, giving a small grin. Lunira rolled her eyes at him, but smiled.
"You're funny." As the mother lowered her head to check on Nellie, her eyes widened. She was there a minute ago, but apparently, she had ran off. "Uh..Neb, don't panic." Nebulos' antennae flickered a little upon seeing Lunira's worried look.
"Why would you--" He looked down as well, and sure enough, he didn't see their daughter. ". . .Nellie will be fine. Nellie will be fine. Nellie will be fine..." He began repeating over and over. Even though he may have been overreacting, the father had plenty of good reason to be a little worried. He and Lunira had been in the GKND before, and there were a lot of good--well, not so good, chances of accidently being stepped on.
"Nellie?! Nellie!!" Lunira was the first to shout out her name, looking for any sign of the small girl.
However, if they happened to look somewhere near the computers where people were checking in with their kids, they might've spotted their little panda-like girl. She looked almost exactly like her father in appearance, with the exception that she had a nose like her mother, as well as the pair of ears and a fluffy white tail to match her white hair. She also had a pair of near-white light green eyes that slightly matched the green and purple striped ribbons that were in her hair.
With the bolts of her antennae brightening, she climbed up onto on of the counters where a computer lied, and tapped on it's screen. "Is this thing on?"

I have none, since I asked ; - - - "They do?" the taller one of the siblings said, his orange eyes enlarging briefly as this information was laid out to him. Excitement seemed to twinkle in them and he displayed the emotion through a modest grin, which revealed a row of sharp teeth. Carrying a backpack of his own (which seemed to be constructed out of leaves), the boy hoisted it higher up his shoulder, trying to match the steady and composed paces of his father. "Yes," the latter replied simply at this son's inquiry. Blaidd's tail flicked to the side, clearly an emphasis of an anticipation he shared with his sister. He, too, busied himself with looking around the hallway. This was certainly a part he had never visited before. The wolfish boy looked out in front of him again, occasionally glancing to the side to make sure his steps kept a steady rhythm. "And Kuyo and Soare are going to be there too, right?" he asked, looking up to his mother and then to his father, his antennae bouncing with every step he took. Masurao nodded to confirm his son's expectations. "So they said." The Egriadanian glanced down at the smaller boy, and then over to the green girl as well. Those close to the wolf-like alien could not mistake in seeing a genuine fondness twinkle in his green eyes as he beheld his children at his side. Masurao was rather certain he had never grasped the meaning of the word 'pride' until these two small creatures had put their firsts small steps on solid surface. "You'll do just fine." he said, addressing both son and daughter as he looked out in front of him again, a warm gentleness seeping through his voice as he talked to them. "We know you will."

(I never have any thoughts! ) The older twin rolled her eyes with an indignant huff at her father's fretting. "It's not like you've asked that seventy-buhmillion times already or anything, Etoile..." she started, an annoyed frown tugging at the corners of her mouth, "But I don't think you need to ask again. Of course we do, stop nagging or whatever it is you're doing." From beside the older male, Nalo turned around to shoot the younger girl a reprimanding stare, and Koyu slumped her shoulders, deliberately avoiding her mother's gaze. Hearing her name in the quietest of whispers, she glanced towards the introverted twin, raising her eyebrows although she had seen similar displays of shyness before. She raised a hand to ruffle her hair a little, a small smile replacing the irritated frown from before. "Cheer up, sis! It's gonna be swell, you'll see!" Her arm squeezed the blonde's shoulders gently and briefly in a hug, befoe breaking away to keep walking and keep up with their parents, as the twins were falling behind.

Five figures were also making their way to the room were Sector SUN was to meet. The tallest, and oldest, had her again-long hair tied back in a loose ponytail, but she still wore her old blue hat and she looked nearly unchanged from when she was a teen, just a little taller and older. She was holding her youngest child, Finley, in her arms. The boy's one visible golden eye was wide with excitement.
Next to her Finnick was holding the older girls' hands. Angelle's ice blue eyes sparkled brightly and she had a wide smile on her face.
"This is gonna be the best day ever!"
Her sister snorted lightly, and looked over at her, "You say that everyday,"
"So, what's wrong with that?" She replied innocently. The younger girl sighed and looked at her mother.
"Mom, are their gonna be a lotta kids there?"
"I'm not sure Luce, but I bet there's gonna be plenty of kids there,"
The purple-furred girl huffed a bit, but gave no other indication if she was happy or sad about this. Her brother smiled widely and looked at his mom.
"I bet I'mma be the braverest kid there!" The tiny boy punched the air a couple times, "I'mma be the best fighter ever!"
His mom smiled a laughed a bit, "I'm sure you while, just like your dad,"
Finnick looked over and rolled his eyes at his wife, "And I'm sure you'll be the most mature too, just like you mom,"
The woman stuck her tongue out at him, showing how immature she still was.
"I can't wait to meet everyone," Angelle chipped in.
"Well, we'll be there soon," Her dad smiled, nodding a bit. "Do you see anyone?"
Angelle squinted down the hall as if trying to make someone out. Her eyesight, like her father's, wasn't the best.
"I SEE SOMEONE!" Finley suddenly shouted, leaping from his mother's arms and jetting down the hall.
"FINLEY!" Luce and their mother shouted at almost the same time. Luce lifted off the ground and darted after him.
"WAIT FOR ME!" Shouted Angelle as she followed her siblings.
The adults looked at each other and sighed, before following after the children. __________________________

I'm chill with them not knowing each other, cause then I can introduce them to the others ;D ~
Another group of five aliens strode through a long corridor, advancing on their way to the conference room. The two tallest, the parents, led the group through the labyrinth of halls, weaving through the memorized paths. Unagi looked at his wife and smiled. “Do you think we’re going too fast for them? We might lose ‘em, you know.” With that, he stopped abruptly to stroke the tiny amount of stubble on his chin in thought.
The three kids had been running to keep up with their parents, struggling not to lose them, but as soon as the Unagi stopped, they all ran right into him, one after the other.
“Huh?” Unagi stopped stroking his chin to look down at the three. Five eyes stared back up at him, two from each girl and one from the boy, his hair covering the other. The three muttered an apology and one of the girls spoke.
“Sorry, Dad, but you guys were going too fast and we couldn’t keep up!” A pout was plastered to her mouth and her dark purple eyes shown guilt. “And then a few times, we lost Aaron,” As she said this, her eyes flickered over to the boy, who hadn’t heard a word she said due to the large headphones covering his fishlike ears.
“Jeez, how are you even sure where you’re going? These paths just seem random!” The second girl spoke up, features identical to the first, yet with magenta eyes. If they hadn’t known better, anyone would think that they were identical twins. The one thing that proved that observation wrong was the third child, the boy, who had stopped paying attention to the conversation and was now watching the different alien species pass them by. The last triplet sighed and blew some hair out of his face, bored already with the scene before him.
“Sorry, Erin” Unagi addressed the first girl with a sympathetic smile. “I guess I got a little excited. After all, your mom and I might be seeing some of our old friends from back when we were in Sector SUN. And of course I know where I’m going, Arran, I’ve been down these halls millions of times. Don’t worry, we’ll get there soon, just a few more turns.” He took Vibe’s hand in his and continued to walk through the corridor.
A sigh came from the girls in unison as they began to follow, each taking one of Aaron’s hands in her own. “C’mon little bro,” Arran spoke enthusiastically and started to skip down the hall. “We gotta use the buddy system”, her sister finished, skipping as well. “And you’re our buddy!!!” They sang out together, skipping along as Aaron ran to keep up.

Well I'm assuming Neon and Nali already know Masurao... He was their mom's bodyguard. *giggles* ;D ---------------------------------------
Nali looked out of the window of the enormous base. She had to admit that she was a bit apprehensive about joining the GKND, it was a new experience, new friends. Based on the stories that her mother and father told her about this organization, it seemed like a pretty cool place to be. The main purpose of this organization was to help children all around the universe, that's what she wanted to do. She was very good at helping kids on HER home planet, why should this place be any different?
"Naaaaaali!" The small hand tugging at her sleeves snapped her out of her thoughts, she turned to her little brother who was out of the Royal Vehicle and practically bouncing in the air, "Momma and Dad are waiting for ya!" She blinked, registering that information,
"O-oh!" She hopped out of the car, "I'm coming!" She floated over to her parents, "S-sorry about that. I was a bit distracted by... everything." She apologized stroking her long braid profusely.
Jamal chuckled, "It's alright Nali, this place can be a quite overwhelming the first time." He patted his daughter's head affectionately, "You're going to be fine, don't worry." At the boost of confidence from her father, the young girl's worries melted away almost instantly.
"Thanks, Daddy..." She said humbled. "I'll do my best to make you guys proud of me." She shrugged her shoulders a bit, looking down at her gray shoes. Niji smiled warmly at her little girl, brushing her light colored bangs out of her face,
"Aw, honey, you'll never have to worry about not making us proud. You do that every single day..." She lifted her daughter's chin up, tapping it gently with her finger. Nali smiled wider. At that very moment, her love for her parents grew more if it was possible. She was definately going to miss them. The eleven year old felt a small hand slip into hers,
"What about me, Mommy?" Neon asked, his bright green eyes sparkling with every word. "Do I make you and dad proud too?"
The Colorful woman laughed ruffling her sons black hair gently, "Well of course you do sweetie." She knelt down to hug him, and pressed a kiss to his gray cheek, a kiss which he wiped off.
"Mommy, not in front of everyone!" He pouted. Niji merely laughed at her sons antics.
Jamal reached down and scooped Neon up in his arms, "Now, make sure you behave for your sister while your here, Neon. She's in charge, alright?" He patted his sons head.
Neon bobbed his head, "'Kay, I'll listen. And if any boy tries to talk to Nali, I'll...I'll...I'll kick them!" He demonstrated with a kick in the air, which caused both parents to laugh out loud. Nali however was not amused as it was evident to her blushing cheeks.
"That's not funny." She grumbled. "That's not funny at all..." She looked down at the ground. "Can we go inside now?"
"Yeah! I wanna go inside now!" Neon ran for the doors excitedly, leaving Nali to run after him,
"Neon, not so fast! Slow down!" She cried chasing him through the doors.

Nellie tapped a few times on the computer, frowning a little seeing that it wasn't responding. "Hmm, what happens if I do this?" She walked towards the keyboards, tapping a few times, before the computer immediantly switched on.
"Aha! There we go." Her bolts brightened as she was grinning at her small accomplisment. The small girl tapped on the keyboard, trying to see what else she could find from the computer. Just as she was about to press the 'enter' key, she stopped. Her ears twitched a little, as they picked up some faint voices over the other voices in the crowd.
"Nellie?! Nellie!!! Nellie!!"
Her face scrunched up a little, recognizing the voice. "Mommy?" Jumping down from the counter, she began to run through the tall jungle of random legs, trying to see any sight of the owner of the voices. "Mommy, Daddy! Where are you?"
As luck would have it, the worried parents didn't have to look for long. Ears twitching, Lunira caught her daughter's voice, instantly turning her head in it's direction. Her eyes widened when she saw the little girl running towards them.
"Nebulos, I see her, she's over there!" --------------------------------------
I didn't know if you wanted me to control him or not again. ^^;....

The wolfish girl, tossing her side fringe out of her eyes, smiled back at her farther and mother. "Don't worry, Dad," she responded. "I'll take care of Blaidd and make sure that he doesn't blow anything up. Or anyone."
Which was ironic, considering that the wolf girl was younger, but she seemed to have captured a bit of her father's personality, including a level head and a calm exterior.
Tala had been trying to resist showing them too much affection in public, especially considering her son. But now she couldn't help it, and she suddenly wrapped both of them in a hug. "You guys have to write me! Lots! And eat your vegetables! And wash behind your ears! A-and, and promise me that if someone starts picking on you, you'll pound them into the ground!"
Aaah, motherly wisdom. "Yeah, yeah, mom, we'll-"
Intense green eyes caught another face that was approaching them in the hallway, and Remmy's attention shifted away and broke into a smile. "Koyu! Soare! Bye mom, bye dad, love you lots!"
The blonde girl, still trailing close to her sister but looking slightly better after Koyu's words, smiled back, her fingers loosening their grip on Koyu's sleeve so that she could walk forward to meet Remmy. The two girls embraced in the hallway outside of the conference room, and Remmy could feel a purr in the back of her throat.
Etoile, having brushed off the reprimanding given by his daughter, smiled at his niece and nephew. "Remmy, Blaid, it's good to see you."
Pulling back from the embrace, Soare looked immensely relieved to have a couple familiar faces in the room, as well as simply pleased to see her cousins. Her voice, still only a breathy whisper-voice, sounded happy. "I'm really glad you're here."
"Me, too," Remmy told her, large ears twitching as she picked up the sound of other kids around the base. "This is going to be fun, right?"
Looking as though it was going to be anything but fun, Soare still nodded in agreement. Taking this as the best answer she was going to get, Remmy leaned around Soare's thin frame and smiled at the rest of her family. "Hey, Uncle Etoile, hey Aunt Nalo!" Her attention then shifted to Koyu. "Have you guys met anyone else yet?"

Nali stopped at the door and turned around to look at her parents, they were waving at her, and for some reason unclear to her, she felt her heart sink at the sight. She had always been quite mature for her age, she knew how to take care of herself and her brother. People always told her that she was quite intelligent and resourceful, so by that logic, walking through these doors should be a snap, right? Err, right? Nali felt tears well up in her eyes. Wrong. The girl ran back to her parents and enveloped them in a hug, "I'm really going to miss you, Momma and Daddy..." She whispered, letting the tears fall freely from her hazel eyes and down her cheeks. Maybe she wasn't as independent as she let people believe. She tensed every muscle in her body to prevent herself from crying too much. She had to save some of her dignity...
The Orgamian Queen hugged her little girl tighter, "It's okay, sweetie, let it all out..." She urged softly patting her daughter's back. "We're going to miss you so much." Jamal pressed a kiss to her daughter's pastel colored head.
"Just promise us that you'll write and call us from time to time. And take care of your little brother, alright? " Nali nodded her head against her father's shirt, clutching it in her small brown hands tightly.
"Mm-hmm..." She mumbled tearfully. Although she felt like a baby for crying over her parents, she also felt a huge sense of release, as if a gray cloud has been lifted away. Smiling through her tears, the half human Princess pulled away from her parents.

Koyu shook her head in response to Remmy's question. "I hope we do soon, though!" was the enthusiastic verbal response, and the girl craned her neck to peer down the corridors, wondering if anyone was lingering around close by. It didn't take her long to spot a trio of multicoloured kids, fast approaching. "Ooh, people!" Nalo couldn't help but smile fondly at the children, drifting closer to Etoile, just close enough to brush her shoulder against his.
--
As Unagi's hand met hers, Vibe's tail curled around to brush against the other side of him, her cheek nuzzling up against his in the cat-like manner she often displayed. It wasn't just her affection; even the way she walked was graceful like that of a feline. At least one of the children groaned from behind them, but the sound went unnoticed as the couple continued to lead them through the base, becoming steadily aware of the sound of activity nearby.
