HEADS UP! My first short KND fanfic. lol I've posted this on DA, but figured I'd post it here, since this is a 3/4 site lol. Some things have been edited from the original however, such as misspellings.
This whole story isn't only about Wally and Kuki, but this and the upcoming chapter are mainly about them meeting again. I'm planning on having at ateest three parts to this.

When you're in the Kids Next Door, many adventures await you. But there are also some very sad moments that you may you be faced with. When turning 13, you're swept clean of all memories you had of the KND or anyone you've met there, wich results in loosing great friendships you may have earned in your years there.
Sector V was one of the best sectors, wich was led by Numbuh 1, or also known as "Nigel Uno."
There were five members on this team, being:
Numbuh 1, or "Nigel Uno"
Numbuh 2, or "Hoagie Gilligan."
Numbuh 3, or "Kuki Sanban."
Numbuh 4, or "Wallabee/Wally Beetles."
And Numbuh 5, or "Abigail Lincoln."
After the departure of Sector V's leader, Numbuh 1 into the GKND, the Team was left with the new leadership of Numbuh 5.
The years passed, as many missions passed. It finnaly came to the time of Sector V's end: Decommissioning.
Numbuh 5 left the KND with a heart-felt speech of her time in the KND. And how her years there were the best, and believes that she'll never truly forget the times she's had, but will simply be resting in the back of her mind, waiting to be found once again.
Numbuh 2 left with saying how proud he was to be a part of the organization, and was proud to say he built the 2x4 technology for his team mates, and left with a farewell to his team, and wishes that he'll meet them all again, even if he doesn't remember them.
Numbuh 4 didn't have much to say, as many believed he was too sad to say much, and that he was trying to be tough for the moment. But he did explain he'll miss his friends, and that he had many things he wanted to say to them, but couldn't find any ways to put them.
Numbuh 3, being the youngest, was the last to go. She was the most tearful, as knowing her friends most likely forgot her, and she'll forget them. She had explained that she missed Numbuh 5 with how well she was with problems, and that she was the one she could talk to when feeling sad, and was a great friend.
She missed Numbuh 2, as he was funny to her, and gave her good laughs when she needed them. He was also very smart, and just as Numbuh 5: Was a great friend.
She missed Numbuh 4, as he seemed to try to cheer her up when he or someone else hurt her feelings. He always seemed to be there for her as well. And though he could be insensitive at times, she always saw him as being more than a friend.
After there Decommissioning, Abby and Hoagie still went to the same school together, and became friends once more. And though, unaware of there old adventures together, they seem to be just as close as back then. (Abby still thinks Hoagie needs to work on his jokes)
Wally had moved back to his original homeland: Australia. Due to his father's job, his family had to move back. He wasn't happy about it, but really didn't have a choice to stay or go.
Kuki lived a normal and happy life. She always felt she was missing something, however. She felt she had a lack of friends. She still attends the same school as Hoagie and Abby, but never speaks to them.
.:THREE YEARS AFTER THE DECOMMISSIONING:.
The young Japanese girl walked through the halls of her school, other students flooded the halls. Separate conversations and clatter were spread through the lively school.
'Today was great!' She thought 'No mishaps, I was early, and I did okay with I disagreeignments!'
As she proudly walked to the school exit, she noticed the girl named Valerie walking her way. Valerie was an honor student, and was well known by other students for being somewhat of a snob. And rude most of the time.
Valerie stopped infront of the Japanese girl, and gazed at her for a while. "Oh, hi Kuki..."
Kuki gazed in a concerned manner, knowing Valerie well. "Oh, um... Hi."
"I see you still wear that nasty green shirt. Do you need some fashion tips or something?" She teased.
Kuki ignored her, and attemped to walk away.
Valerie walked in front of her. "Don't you know it's rude to walk away when someone is talking to you?"
Kuki stopped. "What do you want, Valerie?"
Valerie smiled snobbishly "Oh, nothing. Just wanted to say hi."
Valerie began to walk away, shoving Kuki aside.
Kuki stepped back to keep her balance. She glared at Valerie as she walked away. "She just loves to mess with me, huh?"
Kuki continued her way outside. She left the school yard, meeting with the pavement that led beside the street.
'I'm so tired, I can't wait to get home...' She thought to herself.
She approached a corner, when suddenly...
"LOOK OUT!" Shouted a voice from the other side.
*CRASH!*
Kuki was knocked to the ground, dropping her things.
A boy had bumped into her.
"You need to watch where you're going girly..." He had an Australian accent.
"I'm sorry, I must not've noticed you." She replied as she gathered her things.
She stood up, and examined the young man infront of her. He had blond hair, with a bowl hair cut. He wore an Orange hoodie and blue denim jeens. his hair covered most of his eyes.
He examined her, then said "Well, I guess I was the one who came around the corner so fast, so, um, sorry."
Kuki shyly smiled. "It's fine."
The boy put his hands in his pockets. "So, um, what's your name?"
Kuki held out her hand. "My name's Kuki."
The boy pulled one hand out of his pocket, and put it in Kuki's and shook her hand.
The boy thought for a while, saying her name a couple times in his head to remember it. "Cool, nice to meet ya'."
He pulled out of the handshake, and picked up one of her books she dropped, and handed it to her.
"Here, you forgot this.
She grabbed the book. "Thanks."
She put her books in a bag she was holding. "Are you new here? I've never seen you before."
"Yeah, my family and I just moved back here from Australia." He replied.
"Oh, well, welcome to Neighborhood then." Kuki smiled.
Kuki began to walk down the pavement, approaching a small street leading through a neighborhood. The boy followed.
"So is this your neighborhood?" he asked.
Kuki turned to him. "Yes, why?"
He answered "Really? I moved into this one too!"
"What a coincidence!" Kuki said happily. She still felt a bit shy around him, as she just met him after all. She felt he was an okay guy though.
She got closer to her house, as the boy began to part from her in a separate direction. He waved her bye as he walked away. Just then, she said "Wait! I didn't get your name."
He stopped and turned to her. "Oh, it's Wally by the way."
"Oh, uh, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then Wally." She said with a smile.
He nodded, then continued walking.
She turned to her house, and walked inside.
She walked to her bedroom after greeting her parents and sister.
When she reached her room, she laid down and stared at her ceiling with a smile. Just then, she began to think about that boy she had met. Wally.
'Wally....?' Her mind rang. "Where have I heard that name?" She suddenly asked herself out loud.
She suddenly sat up, and gazed at her dresser, wich was lined with colorful stuffed animals.
She got up and walked to it, remembering something. She picked up one of her stuffed animals, wich was an old, patched up Orange rainbow monkey she had when she was a kid. She examined it. She didn't exactly remember where she got it. All she knows is that on the tag it had, said "from Numbuh 4"
For the longest time, she tried to remember who this Numbuh 4 was.
At this moment, Wally reached his house, and using a spare key, went inside. His parents weren't around, as his father was at work still, and his mother most likely left to pick up his little brother, Joey, from school.
Wally walked silently through the living room, and sat on the couch, reaching for the TV remote. He began to randomly think about That girl he met, Kuki.
"I've heard that name before, was it on TV? Nah, I don't think so..." He said outloud.
As he sat there in the silent house, he suddenly sat straight up, and having a small spark to his memory.
"Wait a minute!"
He gazed back behind the couch into the hallway. He left the couch, walking down the hall into his room.
Just then, he looked to a partially unpacked box in his room, wich many things were still unpacked from moving.
Reaching inside the box, he pulled out an old picture he drew when he was 10. It was a girl in a long green shirt and with long black hair. The picture was hard to make out though, from lack of detail.
"Kuki?" He asked himself. his mind began to clear, as memories that laid dormant for three years began coming back to him.
"Wait, Kuki!?" He said louder. "I can't believe it!" It hit him like a rock.
At this moment, Kuki began to remember some things as well.
"Wally?! That was him!?"
She stared at her rainbow monkey he gave her. She remembered he'd given it to her before he was decommissioned, telling her not to forget him or her friends, even after decommissioning. She felt as if she was going to cry, knowing that's exactly what had happened.
She wondered how she remembered him, as she was infact decommissioned. What ever it was, it was a miracle.
Wally wondered the same, as he sat on the foot of his bed still holding the picture. He began to remember his friends too. "How can I remember? And what if she never remembers me?"
End Transmission....?
This whole story isn't only about Wally and Kuki, but this and the upcoming chapter are mainly about them meeting again. I'm planning on having at ateest three parts to this.
