Spoons can be very offensive *hits a random person with a wooden spoon* You can castrate people with them too. (Excuse my language xD)

How is mentioning the castration of persons a violation of language rules?
Either way...

it is cruel to castrate someone with a wooden spoon. It would get splintery.

That would still get splintery, just with plastic splinters.
But pain is good, so long as it's someone else's pain.
