Kid 3/4 vs Adult 3/4

I know that after "Decommissioning" one forgets they were in the KND...but I didn't think that your personalty changed so much. I mean Wally and Kuki were altered COMPLETELY from the kiddy version of them that we all knew, loved, and were familar with!

What do you think happened?

Do you think their relationship with each other as adults is the same as when they were kids considering their changed personalities? I mean, do you think that they're still fluffy around each other and still have romantic moments together?

(I mean, the adult Wally seemed a little stuck up from going to "Harvard," what with talking about his fast car and all. I kind of pictured him living in one of thos fancy Beverly Hill mansions or something. And Kuki was totally serious. I'm kind of finding it difficult to picture what their daily life is like. I almost think that if the new Wally tried to lavish Kuki with romantic/expensive gifts or something she would hardly respond to it...ya know? I dunno. I just can't really picture them interacting together in the versions that we saw from INTERVIEWS. I mean, she didn't even sit next to Wally in INTERVIEWS and she called him her "dim-witted husband". =( The kiddy-Kuki wouldn't have done that I don't think.)

Don't get me wrong, I do think they still love each other very much. ^^ But I just don't think Kuki is as receptive to romance as she was when she was younger. And Wally....*sighs* He's just not the same at all. T-T

Anyway, what do you guys think? Did you like the change? Did you think it was a bit much? Were you not bothered by it at all? What do you think happened? What do you think their relationship is like now? Etc., etc.

I didn't like the change at all. Especially Kuki's. Why so serious? I mean come on, she acted exactly like her mom. Even dressed like her too, and what was up with those glasses she was wearing, she never had a vision problem in the show...

Yeah, I'm trying to picture some kind of romantic interaction between them and I can't. I think Adult Kuki would just ignore him most of the time since apparently so she's busy working... *sighs*

In my little world, Adult Kuki still has her free spirited attitude. *huggles her ;D* And Wally, he wouldn't be as stuck up, but he'd still be totally awesome for attending Harvard, it was really surprising when we first learn about that but cool nonetheless. ;D

I like Kuki & Wally in our own AUs for them. :3 Both adults, and kids. But if I had to pick, totally kids! Hands-down.

Yet, some in INTERVIEWS there are truths that were discovered; Real truths are to me:

-Nigel went into the GKND
-Wally&Kuki married
-Hoagie&Abby married
-Wally did go to Harvard
-Hoagie's jokes still are bad (to the others; but to me they're funny. XD)

But I what I do believe, and I can see happening is Wally actually attending Harvard. No joke. What I think is that he finally went out and got himself a job and did better in school, wanting to make a living and to prove to Kuki that he could raise a family with her when they were older. To be a man!

But I still think is that he is still... you know, kinda stupid at terms and such. ;D That's our Wally, ya' know?

For Kuki... Nooo. v_v I don't want her to be a business woman, that's not true at all! (neither is Hoagie becoming overweight again.. but still, he works good on the jokes! ^^) I still think she should be her own girly, awesome self! Like in Jas's drawings.

In Jas's drawings of Wally and Kuki as adults, that's where the real Kully is.

That's exactly how I picture them in my head as adults, too! ^-^ I didn't like their personality change in Op. INTERVIEWS at all XP I just refuse to believe they let go of their original nature like that, especially after Numbuh One told them to nevuh grow up! ^__^

In my opinion of their adulthood, they never did grow up. I can sorta picture in my head that what they said during Op. INTERVIEWS was to try and trick Father XD Yes, that's what happened in little Jas-land XD
I didn't like seeing them that way in that epside. They just weren't the same characters I like so much. But I'm not really having a hard time managing to push their personality change in INTERVIEWS away. I have fun imagining things about them when they're older, and still have the same personality ^-^

Like in Allie's fic "Craving", they still kept their original personalities, while Wally did go to Harvard ^-^ That was perfect!
Though I always kinda imagined Wally would do something involving sports xD I once read a fanfic where he was in college, learning how to become a physical therapist. I thought that suited him perfectly ^-^ He wasn't really the most intelligent one of all, but he does manage to put his heart into something he's interested in, and then pull it off. Go Wally! XD

I agree with Jas. I think it was all a hoax to trick Father. And when it was over, they tore off their costumes and were like "PHEW! Glad that's over!"

In my little world adult Kuki is super nice and shy. She gets nervous meeting new people, but so nice that it was cavity-inducing.
Adult Wally is the same though. And in my world, He grows up to be a COP!!! YEAH!!! ^_^

Sorry to march in and drag up an old thread, but this has got me thinking.

I kind of mind it and don't. The way I see it, how old were they in INTERVIEWS? They must have been at least in there late 30's, early 40's. Not many people retain the same personalities they had when they were 10-13. So, its only logical that they would change over the years in certain ways. It happens to everyone.

Although when I think of Kuki and Wally forming an actual relationship, I still picture them as the two people I watched on Cartoon Network growing up. Or these days, through those lovely pictures on Deviant Art (by an individual called OrionStorm, sorry if he/she is reading this, and I've got that wrong).

So, I can imagine them retaining there original personalties as they consumate there relationship and grow into there teens/20's. But calm down and alter slightly as they reach the 30's/40's.

Oh, I almost forgot. Hello, I'm new to this board.
