EPILOGUE
The next morning, Nebulos awoke to the sound of laughter ringing over the GKND base. Thinking he was still dreaming, he groaned and turned over, hoping to get a little bit more rest. That is, until the laughter grew louder. He sighed and took his pillow, putting it over his head in hopes of drowning out the noise. Suddenly he heard a knock on his door and he groaned in agitation. There was more knocking,
"I'M SLEEPING!!" He cried out. But the knocking only continued. Nebulos sighed before forcing himself to climb out of bed and trudge over to his door. When he opened it, he was shocked to find an excited Lunira standing there dressed in a light green housecoat. She was grinning.
"Nebby! C'mon, you've GOT to see this!" She said. Nebulos just stared at her, shocked that she was up this early and not completely aware of what was going on. He looked down at his violet pajamas before rubbing the back of his neck.
"Um, maybe I should get dressed fir-"
"No time, c'mon!" With that, Lunira grabbed one of his hands and took off in a run. Nebulos gasped at how fast she was going and was having trouble keeping up with her.
"L-luni! Wait! What's this all about?!" He asked.
"You'll see! It's so funny!" Lunira said. Not too much later, they made their way to the central area of the base that was the busiest and that also held a GIHUGIC screen high above everyone's heads. (much like in WALLE).
"Look! Look! See?!" She pointed and Nebulos looked up. What he saw on the screen made his mouth drop.
"Oh.....my.....i-is that...." He felt a grin forming on his face. Lunira giggled.
"It is! It is!" She said, buring her face in Nebulos's shoulder to stifle her laughter. For there, on the screen, was a video of Zarzig...snuggled up with a cute teddy bear and sucking his thumb in his sleep. Nebulos had tried to stifle his laughter but failed horribly as the Zarzig on the screen spoke,
"I love you too mommy. I'm you're widdle Zig-zig."Nebulos covered his mouth with his hand.
"Zig-zig?!" He asked, laughing even more. He turned to Lunira.
"How...when...who did this?"
"Hey, he messes with one of us he messes with all of us." A voice said. Lunira and Nebulos then turned to see Nigel standing there, with the rest of Sector GKNDV behind him. All of them were in their pajamas that morning as well. Lunira and Nebulos gasped.
"You guys did this?" Nebulos said, with slight tears of humor in his eyes. Lunira still had his hand in her own and he squeezed her hand warmly.
"Well, it was awfully mean of Zarzig to mess with your alarm clock Nebby. Everyone knew how important yesterday's date was to you and Luni." Niji said.
"Yeah, you guys had been planning it for a long time!" Zinc nodded. At this, Nebulos and Lunira looked at each other before blushing.
"Zarzig really stressed you out, so we thought it was only fair." Kyra added.
"It was quite easy really, EVE.2 helped a lot." Chad said, petting EVE.2's head. She chirped in the affirmative.
"Camouflage function and spy camera feature highly beneficial!" She said with a wink and a giggle. Lunira and Nebulos stifled even more laughter. Nigel spoke up,
"It was just a matter of hoping Zarzig was...shall we say, "less tough" in his sleep than when he's awake. Rachel remembered overhearing Zarzig tell Ruby about him sleeping with his teddy bear once so we decided to try to catch him in the act."
"He really should know better than to mess with our friends. If you hadn't woke up on your own yesterday Nebulos, you and Lunira would have been devastated about missing your date. we know how much you two care about each other." Rachel added. Nebulos and Lunira looked at each other and blushed, but smiled; they both knew it was the truth. Nebulos moved to wrap an arm around her waist and Lunira rested her head on his shoulder.
"You know he's never going to forget this." Nebulos said, turning back to the others.
"Well, that would be the point. Hmph! Serves him right." Niji said, with her arms folded and her nose in the air. Lunira's ears then twitched as she sensed something...
"Well, speaking of which...." They all turned to see Zarzig screaming as he rushed to the center of the gihugic room, staring up at the screen in shock.
"Oh, this ought to be good." Nigel said with a smirk on his face.
"NOOOOO! NO! NO! NO! WHO DID...HOW DID...WHAT...THAT'S
NOT ME! IT'S NOT ME!!!" He cried, in shock, anger and frustration. But everyone kept laughing, and of course it didn't help that he was only wearing the same teddy bear undies that he was on the Giganto-Screen.
"What's the matter Zig-Zig?"
"You miss your mommy?"
"That's a cute Teddy bear Zar!"
"The undies really work on you!"
Some of the aliens taunted. Zarzig felt his face heat up with anger and shame.
"SH-SHADDUP! ALL OF YOU! STOP LAUGHING NOW OR YOU'RE GONA GET IT!" He cried, trying to use his tough-guy reputation that he had built up while on the base. But his threats went unheaded and the aliens continued laughing as the teenage Zarzig on the screen snuggled more into his teddy bear and spoke again,
"Zig-zig is mommy's big little man! Zig-zig loooovess mommy. ^^" He sighed happily.
Zarzig's face fell as he cried out and feel to his knees, burying his head in his claws. The sheer embarassment was too much to bear. The others snickered as Ruby suddenly entered the scene and walked up to Zarzig.
"Uh...Ziggy, you know we can't go out next week now, right?" She told him. Zarzig gasped and looked up.
"WHAT?! What do you mean?! Oh yes we ARE going out! You have no idea what I....I mean we've been planning our date for months!"
"It'll make me look bad Zar. This is going to take some SERIOUS damage control before I can even be SEEN with you in public again...Hmph." Ruby said, turning on her tail and walking away. Zarzig gasped in shock.
"N-no! Wait Ruby please! I have reservations at the most expensive...HEY! RUBY! GAH! Nooo!! Come back! Please!! RUBY!" He cried, running after her. Sector GKNDV smiled.
"Well, looks like Zarzig's gonna miss his date with Ruby." Lunira said.
"Well...now he knows how I felt. Too bad he can't be as lucky as I was." He said. Lunira felt her heart thump as she looked up at Nebulos, who had a sparkle in his eyes. She smiled and wrapped both arms around him, snuggling into his chest. She sighed happily as Nebulos hugged her back tightly, antennaes flashing with happiness.
He had a feeling his world was going to be just a bit brighter for a long time to come.

That was fun!
Honestly I was going to go with something a bit more cruel for Zarzig, like him somehow being locked outside his room in like heart-patterend or teddy-bear undies. But this seemed a bit more fitting. And Karma came back around on him so.
EVE.2 spoke a bit! And Chad and Kyra....so more of GKNDV got in on this action of course.
And a last little bit of Neb/Lun fluff at the end.
I decided to give Neb voilet PJs since he blushes violet and since that's Luni's favorite color...and Luni a light green housecoat over her PJs to match her ribbons since that was Nebby's favorite color. I didn't know what color her PJs would be though though so I just went with the house coat. '^^
Hope you liked it! ^^ I may do another Neb/Lun date fluff fiction in the future b/c this one was a lot of fun.
