Okay, I know this is kinda weird; but I have a thoery. I've been thinking this for a few nights and share my thoughts; Before 1/362 popped up, most people shipped either 1/Lizzie or 1/5. 1/5 = Loyalty, close friendship (Example; Eragon and Saphira) 1/Lizzie = Argues, bossing ... And 1/362 is like.. a combination of 1/5 and 1/Lizzie to me. O.O Rachel = There for Nigel, and yells at him at times and argues and wants to be loyal to him. Abby is loyal, and Lizzie is a bossy. Rachel is in between. I think Rachel is a mix between the two girls, and Nigel is... well, he's Nigel. XD What do you think of this theory? I know it seems a bit rushed, but... *shrugs* (AKA, don't point out I should like 1/5 because 1/362 is a lot like it... the real reason why I dispise 1/5 is because... it's really, really weird to me. I don't like it. Sorry.)

i thought my last post was too long and it didn't really answer the question so i deleted it...'^^
I think the Rachel in the show correlates to Lizzie
and the Rachel that we RP correlates to Abby.
But I like the way Allie has taken Rachel and developed her into a more compassionate character compared to the Rachel in the show.
- I saw Abby as like a big sister to Nigel.... - and I never really liked the way Lizzie bossed him around.... -Nor did I like the way Rachel ordered him around (in the show) - which is why I ship 1/Eizzil as a show coupling.
However, personally, I HONESTLY wouldn't compare Rachel to Abby or Lizzie. In the show, she didn't have that close of a friendship with Nigel as Abby did (due to their history). And she wasn't the same KIND of bossy person that Lizzie was. I think she enforced her bossyness more with the usage of her authority over the KND...not because of any feelings for Nigel...whereas I think Lizzie was trying to get Nigel to pay more attention to her and strengthen their relationship.
They all seem fairly different to me. In the end Nigel did seem to pay more attention to the KND than to Lizzie, which is why she broke up with him, he had trouble juggling his 2 loves. It almost seems as if Mr. W was making it so that Nigel had to end ALL human ties on Earth so he could move on...which although sad, is what he had to do.
In a way, he gave up his childhood in order to save the childhoods of the future. Which is rather ironic and sad....but very noble of him. But the whole thing deeply altered his relationship with people in general, I think.
But I didn't see the same kind of relationship of 1/Lizzie or 1/5 as 1/362 in the show.
But that's just me.

You deleted your first post? O.O Aww, to be honest.. I'm really a cheesy-softy person I gotta admit; It brought a tear to my eye. ^^; Heh. (No, really it did!) But not of upset/anger. It was happiness. And thank you. *hugs* I'm sorry I didn't reply to your first post, I was upstairs listening to music. ^^ Thank you very much, Rika. ^^ I'm not mad or upset at all. I'm very happy. ... Great, now I'm getting teary-eyed again. And it's fictional--but 1/362 is my greatest love of all. ^^ ... Wanna know a secret? I like my version of Rachel better, actually. I mean, more than just the galactic outfit. But I think she can freshen into a new personality with a fresh start for her if she's ever in the GKND. I don't want to have Lizzie or Numbuh Five's personality... I want her to have my own. I only watched GIRLFRIEND once, never again. I mean, of course I liked the 1/362 lunch scene with the sneakiness and the dance numbuh (XD), plus the epic Nigel Uno as James Bond/Sonic Adventure 2 scene! ... It's just. Well... Lillyfan once said she thought Rachel was... 'OOC'. That or she could be on her... um.. yeah. ^^; You know. But in the end, I like my version of Rachel much better. ^^ I hope one day that my dream of GKND will come true, and 1/362 too! I strongly believe in it will come true one day, just you wait and see, Mr. Warburton! And I'm actually beginning to think that Rachel's gaining from my personality.... Hm.

Really, lead Courting Commander? Well, it's an idea that I haven't heard before, but I would like to think that Rachel is unique in her own way toward Nigel, just as, say, Dawn is toward Ash. As Nigel and Rachel get closer to each other, their personalities might become a little less and yet a little more serious at the same time. Whereas I would opine that Nigel/Lizzie couldn't work, Nigel/Abby might be a couple that works... in the future. Nigel/Rachel is the couple that comes closest to my judgment regarding couples that work in the present. I would imagine Nigel and Rachel to know exactly what's going on, perhaps displaying emotions toward each other whenever they're alone, so that they'll be that much happier in the future. Thus, in comparison to Nigel/Lizzie and Nigel/Abby, I would share WallysChika's opinion that Nigel/Rachel is unique as it is.

That's an interesting theory Allie.
My personal take on why so many people( like you, C7Angel, and many others) are drawn to 1/362 as a couple is because their is a unique ands genuine chemistry between them. Nigel is able to understand Rachel because her thought process is very similar to his, and she is able to accept him because she sees what a strong, determined person he is despite his recklessness.
There's a lot of other factors going towards this, but that's my basic theory.

I will thank Allie for that Internet glomp -- and prettywitch for her take on the Courting Commanders/Starlight Soldiers. If Nigel and Rachel's ways of thinking are so similar to each other, then perhaps Nigel and Rachel themselves are the opposite of, say, Nigel and Lizzie, Wally and Kuki, and/or any other "opposites attract" couples in Codename: Kids Next Door. I'd prefer a level of stability among the leaders of this organization, so that their fellow Kids Next Door will have an idea of what they're doing together. As long as Nigel and Rachel maintain this friendship/partnership, I should be happy to support them.

^ You know, I also have a thoery. (I know I shouldn't post it here, but it also adds in more conversation!)
In the KND universe, the canoned-shippings are "oppisites attracted".
Now, in the GKND universe of ours - Our favorite ships have plenty in common.
Okay... sorry for the off-topicness, carry on. ^^
