Hey guys! ^^ Well, Rika is my online name but my real name is Brittany (I gave the name to my OC 417 and I took the name Rika for online uses. That's what a lot of us did back when I was on Sector E. '^^ Plus I think "Brittany" just too common, I think Rika's more unique so I use that as my online name. ^^) ...and I put this video up on youtube for a project for a class of mine. I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out by logging in to youtube and commenting on it on and increasing the number of views it has (having your friends comment on it too if you could!). ^^ I have to present it tomorrow so we need a lot of positive comments. And not really on the performance, but on like the information given in the video. (It's an interview. ) So I'm going to put the clip up and I'd love it if you guys could comment! It'd really help with our project. Thank guys! -Rika/Brittany/WallysGirl/FoxieSango

Rika, I think it went really well actually. The information I can't really tell about, because I don't know what it exactly is about.
What I got out of it was that the pool there was hosting a swim meet, with the coach commenting on how nice he found it that they were hosting that. After that, There was some talk about the special Olympics, and the fact that anyone who wanted to could go and help them with their events.
I had to listen to it about 3 times before I got all of that, but that is no doubt due to my none native speaking of english.
It went pretty well, as far as I can tell.

Thanks so much you guys! ^^ *hugs all* I'm glad you all like it!
I hope to go into the field of reporting after I graduate, so I thought I'd use that to help with my group's project. ^^

I thought that looked very professional! I think you did a great job as the interviewer, you looked genuinely interested in what they had to say. I also liked it how you always kept your eyes set on the interviewee and show that you know what he is talking about. You don't look camera-shy and that shows confidence ^^ Exactly what an interviewer needs to have! Good job! And you also chose a nice background for the presentor, it really looked like she was sitting at a newsstation. I'm also agreeing with TJ that I didn't entirely understand what it was about at first, but I think it's due the language barrier and not the performance ^^ And probably because we're not completely familiar with the project. I also must say that I think it's very creative to get an assignment like this! Going out into the field and talking to people. I think that's a pretty neat idea ^^ You can always learn a lot from "fieldwork". Just a Belgian's opinion! ^^ *giggles* I hope it's worth something! :3 I'd love to post this beneath the vid itself, but I'm afraid I don't have a YouTube account. So I hope this counts too! You did a great job! And you catch good on camera too! Well done!

It really means a lot to me! *hugs* Yeah, the video was to help promote the RecreatioN Center in our town; so my part was to handle the media. I borrowed our tv-stations camera and went out and filmed a swimmeet they were doing to help promote them on campus. I hope to do more news segments on them in the future. ^^ They're a really awesome organization!

Well, it might be because my first language isn't English, but I didn't really understand what Nina said (No offence) But the looks of it looked like it was like the evening news or something, super cool =3 And it's a shame that the pool is so noisy , I didn't really understand the replies ^^' (I know, pools are supposed to be noisy, I'm just saying it's a shame it is) But all in all, it looks super nice and well done and thought through, and it was clear that both you and Nina knew what you were talking about, you both looked very confident and you (as Jas mentioned) always had eye contact with the ones you interviewed and Nina always had eye contact with the camera (viewers). I think it's a really nice presentation =3 *thumbs up* *off topic* Whoah! You're so pretty Rika
