(chuckling warmly) No need to worry. I've heard about this, as well. Admittedly, I'm not exactly much for Pokémon game remakes, but the speculation about it has already proven interesting to track. I'll be content with keeping the moves on any Pokémon I end up catching and training consistent with what I've seen of the characters in the show.

the names suck, we had gold and silver back in the day when pokémon was still interesting to me. Hurraay.. More milking of the exact same cow... agreed, pokémon's always been wanting to be the best, and every game 2 or 3 new legendary pokémon arrive. it got boring after gold/silver. |

Gold and Silver to me were the best out of the RPing Pokemon games. Pearl/Diamond/Platinum is right after for me. ^___^
But it's gonna take some time catching Suicune, Entei and Raikou hot on their trails. ._.

Perhaps interestingly for me, Johto is the region of which I have the least memory, which may very well mean a bout of curiosity on my part about it. I've seen enough of Sinnoh to be thoroughly satisfied with it, and I can certainly remember the timing behind Diamond and Pearl's premiere.

I find it odd how I never watched The Johto Journeys, Johto Champion, MasterQuest, exc. and I always played Gold/Silver. :/ I guess because I was too interested in the games rather than the anime adopation.
But D&P is pretty awesome for the anime adopation, it's really upgraded. But now I want to watch Raikou; The Legend of Thunder for Gold/Silver nostolgica. :3 ... Plus for Questshipping (Jimmy&Marina)

If I should end up getting these two new games in the future, then more likely than not, I will base my own Pokémon's moves on what I remember from the show, as I have with Ash and Dawn's Pokémon... not to mention a few others.
