Favourite Platonic Pairings

Not everyone can be in a romantic relationship with everybody. And no matter how hard fans try, some characters are better off working as friends then they ever would as lovers. But it's those relationships that also yield as much excitment and wonder from audiences as much as romantic pairings do, especially if you care about the two platonic characters. And seeing as how KND has more platonic relationships then romantic ones, it would only seem fair that each and every one of us enjoyed at least one of these pairings. That said, here's the question.

What are your favourite platonic KND pairings?

I actually have quite a few that I'm willing to discuss:

2/86- I know his might seem weird, but I really don't care much for them as a romantic pairing. I can however, see them becoming friends if they could get past what they didn't like about each other. But I think that's exactly what I like about this relationship, their chemistry. These are two people that in my opinion could get past what they didn't like about each other they'd realize the other wwasn't so bad and start to develop a strong bond as friends.

2/4- I've always enjoyed this pairing, probably because they're so opositic of each other. One glance at these two and you could never really see them as friends. But because they have things in common and they like the otehr for who they are you could see why and like that they're friends.

4/5- I'm not quite sure why I like this one, but it might just be because they're very much like brother and sister. Wally seems to come to Abby for advice every so often, and Abby loves to tease Wally in spite that she cares for him.

-They are awsome, the best friends. When I saw 3 and 5, I remember about my best friend (Paola) and me. Both ever are fine with each other, and besides, they are the only 2 girls in the sector. Kuki ever find help for her. Abby ever find warm and sweet affection. I really, really like this friendship, I enjoy watch they because is the perfect repressentation of friendship. This friendship doesn`t have words for describe. They are awsome.

For me they are as cousins. That can be because he remind me my cousin (Francisco) both are sentimentals and love the cute things. They have funny adventures and both are good friends. They have a strong friendship and both are the parents of Bradley, so they are good working together. He is as the tuthor of 3 in somethings. But really, I see them as cousin relationship.

I really enjoy watch this friendship, they go for one pleace to another going in problems and have crazyadventures, Hoagie prove being a good good friend, and Wally being the most cute friend ever. Hoagie (as all the world) know about the Wally`s feelings, but in differencew of another people, he help Wally in this situation. And in operation F.I.S.H.Y. Hoagie tell Wally that he is his best friend. And I say...
awwwwwwwwwww so cute moment. They are a true friends for all life. They ever joking and playing and all that. Besides Kuki, he is the person that most is with him. I love this friendship. That`s what I call best friends!!!

4/2 is one of my favorite friendship pairings. They that total brains + brawn pairing that always works in cartoons. It's evident that these two are best friends; they had so many episodes just focused on them. From SHOGUN to BULLIES to FISHY to SAFETY to DODGEBALL and even in SPINACH it was Hoagie Wally took with him to skip school in the beginnig and it was Wally who had to inform the others of what hat happened to Numbuh 2.

Even in FISHY Hoagie went up to Wally and told him, "But, I'm your bestest best friend" after Wally said he was friends with Mr. Fishy.

They both love Cheese, Videogames, and Wrestlin' robots. They really are a dynamic duo of best pals and really they're my alltime favorite friendship pairing. ^^

Cloesly following this would be 4/5 in the brother/sister friendship aspect.

Again, there were several episodes/moments specifically focused on these two like when Abby helped Wally with his homework and Wally, in turn, saved her from being a Werewolf. That probably was the best example of how strong their bond is. Wally really does look up to her, like how in ROBBERS he told her, "I'll let you copy my HW so you can get an A too!" That was so sweet of him! ^^ There are so many more moments that I love showing the bro/sister bond of these two.

My two favorite Platonic Pairings include individuals that make up cannon couple- 2/5:

2/4= Friendship
5/4= Sis/Bro
2/5= Cannon

Mine are very much the same as Rika's!

2/4 is also one of my alltime favourite friendships ^^ They just work well together ^-^ I always like the episodes that stars the both of them!

4/5 is also one of my favourites! They big sister/little brother thing often shows through the episodes, it's very sweet ^^ I don't think I can add much more to this, Rika pretty much summed it up! :3

I think it would've been cool if we got to see a bit more of 3/5 friendship in the episodes, but them featuring in Op. HOME was pretty cool too

I like 1/5 as the son/mother relationship. It was never romance, and Mr. Warburton stated that himself on one of his Q&A's on the KND Forum. (I think ^^)

But to me, I see Nigel and Abby's relationship as a mother towards her son. :3

Oh yeah, I also like 1/5. I used to enjoy them as a romantic couple, but as my fandom developed( and I began falling for 60/362) I found myslef enjoying their chemistry as friends more than I did as lovers. Although I have no problem with people enjoying them in a romantic light. I mean hell, I have two online friends who are 1/5 fans.

Another platonic couple I really enjoy is 86/362. This is a sort of obvious best friend thing going on between these two. Rachel seems to be the only one who can tolerate Fanny, Fanny clearly admires and idolizes Rachel, and they seem to care for each other deeply as friends.

I can't see 362/60 as a romantic couple, but that's just MO. ^^ I hope you don't mind, Prettywitch. My friend Destiny (aka Mel on the KND forum) said she only sees them as a boss/co-worker relationship... that goes for me too. :3 *nod, nod*

And 274/362 warmed me up as an idol shipping, like 5/Maurice. (I <3 1/362 and Chad/Kyra!)

But also...er... Kyra/Rachel is growing on me. As in mother and daughter. ;D Heh, I described in one of my GKND oneshots that Rachel was crying... Kyra tried to cheer her up by letting Rachel play with her tail. (Aww... :3)

Oh that's completely fine by me. Besides, I don't really see 1/362 as a romantic couple. I do however, enjoy their chemistry as friends and cohorts.

I like the 1/2 relationship. There's something very gentle and genuine about it, kind of like Goku and Krillin from early Dragon Ball. (I also like when 2 goes around calling 1 "Captain."

1/362 is a good friendship, considering that 1 does a good job of not buckling down under 362's sometimes-overbearing presence. The only problem with a romantic relation is when it seems to say "Rachel is better than that fat, obnoxious Lizzie!", when I like Lizzie for exactly those reasons.

I agree with you there. I personally think the Lizzie bashing has died down, but tehre are still some people who just like to bash her and say she doesn't deserve Nigel. At least there are 1/362 fans like Allie and C7 who actually respect Lizzie and her character, even if they don't support her with Nigel.
