Hey guys... I was thinking that few of the PWs (Wallyschika, PaulaGirl, Tater06) are writing some 'TND' fanfiction--I think I have an idea for my own drama/romance one, but I wanted to check in with you guys on this. ^^;;
(And please don't get mad! They're not gonna get together; it's just Kuki will see it differently and all.
)
Okay... I've had this idea for a fic for a few months back, and it just rushed to me a few minutes ago. OO
Well... the plotlines are;
Rachel has diabetes, and no one knows about it at the high school. Nigel is her GIHUGIC crush, and best friend but she won't even tell him about it. She feels she'll become an outcast and people would think strangely of her and run away trying not to get infected.
Meanwhile, Kuki and Wally are trying to tell each other their true feelings and start dating, but there's a few complications on the road.
But it all falls apart and Rachel's secret is out--
Wally cuts class to find Rachel and bring her back, and when he is passing a janiter's closet, he hears someone angerily talking to themself. He investigates, and peeks by opening the door. But when the girl hears the door squeak, she accidently stabs herself in the wrong area where the needle was pointed at. (testing blood sugar)
It was Rachel all along, and she asks what Wally's doing in the closet. His mind is right on the needle--and then he blurts out,
"...Rachel, are ya' taking drugs?"
Rachel pulls the needle from her arm, and winces. Wally notices the blood and tells her to calm down by comforting her and everything will be okay. She then tells him that she has diabetes, and demands that he can't tell anyone about it.
...
They're being watched. By Kuki--and she is shocked. Completely shocked. She had watched enough, and rushes off to find Nigel with tears in her eyes. She truly loved Wally, and now she "knew" that he didn't "love" her back the way she did with him.
But she is misunderstood, and Wally is only a friend towards Rachel. But she also knew the truth of Rachel, too. She decides to tell Nigel, which is the right thing to do. Kuki is worried, and tells him during lunch.
When the secret is out, and Nigel knows--he grows very concerned for Rachel's health and ignores the fact that Wally was in the closet with her. He tells Kuki not to worry and it was only probably a big misunderstanding.
Because throughout all the years, Nigel has grown to love Rachel--more than anything in the world. He plans to be there for her and take care of her. After lunch, he encounters her in the halls and tells her he knows. Rachel's eyes widen, and whispers out if Wally told him--Nigel says that Kuki overheard, and took it very hard on both conversations. (diabetes, and comfort)
Nigel wants to be close with Rachel, but she pushes him away--feeling so alone and so different than the other students. She runs off, and Nigel tries to run after her but let's her go, watching her. He decides he'll meet up with her later to set things straight.
Kuki and Wally are together in Study Hall, and together the two flick notes to each other in saying of apologizing and saying it was only a misunderstanding and all that jazz. ... But the teacher catches them and they're sent to the office--together.
The two sit in the office near the principal's, and poke fun at each other of the teacher who runs the study hall hour. And then a little quiet moment... And I think it would be the right time for the two to confess their feelings. ^^

That's all I have right now, I feel the drama/romance in it already!
It could be a few chapters or a really, really, REALLY long oneshot.
I got the inspiration from reading a Lurlene McDaniel novel called One Last Wish; All The Days Of Her Life which was about a girl with diabetes and told no one at school about it--she had dinner out with a friend one night and went back to the school to work on the play they were going to perform and then she blacked out... and she ended up in the hospital, and people were worried sick.
The "Are you taking drugs?" part is also from the book. But Lacey (the girl with diabetes) was taking her blood-sugar level in the bathroom, and one of the "cool" girls walked out from vomiting in the bathroom (yes, she is trying to be anerxic...however you spell it), and she acts shocked and demands, "Lacey, are you taking drugs?!"
So... yeah.
I want your guys' opinions on it. ^^ It's kinda like a triangle of 3/4/362, but the couples are truly 3/4 and 1/362!
