I imagine they wouldn't either, particualrily Rachel, for I have her discover just shortly after the ZERO incident how she feels about her old friend. By that point, Patton has forced himself to distance himself from her because of what happened between them during ZERO. But regardless, I truly feel that this would be much harder on her than it ever would be Patton.
That would defenitly come up in the conversation, because as we all know, Nigel knows Rachel rather well, and knows she's not above breaking or changing tradition.
In terms of other people discovering via Sector V, I don't think Rachel and Patton have much to worry about, as they're a trustworthy bunch. But you never know, there could be ears in places they don't know. And it doesn't help that my fan-character is a bit of a chatter box, and can't keep a secret to save her life.

Hi everybody! Since this place hasn't been updated in awhile, I decided that maybe it was time to introduce yet another element I do to keep the flame of 60/362 going, story concepts! These are long, but informative outlines I've created in my head, which I enjoy acting out, sharing with my fellow KND fans and 60/362 fans, and turning into stories. So to start off, I will post a recent one I came up with.
The story begins with Rachel running into this giant corridor. Coming into the corridors she immediately becomes horrified by the site of an unconcious, bloody Patton lying on the floor. Runing over to him, she collapses to her knees and takes him into her arms. Patton awakens to see that he is resting in her arms, causing a sigh of releif to escape her lips.
Father then appears from nowhere, delighted that she has arrived. Patton then tells Rachel to leave him and run, explaining that he's discovered that Father is planning to kill her, clearing up her question of why and explaining why he's down there in the first place. Rachel then asks Father if this is true, and he explains to her that it is. He then explains to her that behind the giant doors of this room lies a giant chamber of fire that he can control, which he has just recently created in order to dispose of certain people.
He then tells her to make a choice. Her choice being that if she surrenders to him, then all of the operatives fighting above ground and Patton will leave safely if she parishes in the chamber. Patton then desperately begs her not to once more, which only delivers a silence from Rachel. She asks what will happen if she refuses, to which Father replies that if she refuses hat she will die along with all of her operatives in a huge explosion set off by various wired bombs. As she begins to contomplate her decision, Patton continues to beg her not to die as she refuses to let any of her operatives die. After having a small argument, Patton then tells her that while he knows he's being selfish that he wouldn't be able to live without her, ultimately confessing that he loves her.
Surprised by this, Rachel then takes a few more minutes to determine her decision. Finally reaching her verdict after a small chunk of time, she passionately kisses Patton and then places him on the floor, giving him her helmet in the process. Realizing her decision, Patton begins to try and run to stop her, but to no avail. As she reaches the chamber, Father comments that he's pleased to see her being considerate towards his wishes. She then explains that she's not doing this for him. Understanding her answer, he opens the chamber as Patton stumbles once more towards the chamber. But before she walks in, Rachel flashes Patton one last smile, telling him goodbye in the process as she walks into the chamber. As the doors close, Patton musteres up all of his strength and runs to the door, beginning to punch and bang on them as he screams her name in agony.

Hello erveyone, sorry about not updating this place for awhile. But I promise to make it up to all who are watching this thread now, because I finally have a brand new topic discussion that I'm willing to share. So without further ado, here we go!
Would they believe an accidental reveal from soemone else who knew about their feelings?
In Patton's case, I think it would be possible for him to believe Rachel has feelings for him if someone else told him so. Now granted, at first I'd feel he'd be in denial. But after talking about it more with the person who told him, I think he'd efenitly be on board about teh idea. As for who would tell him accidentally, I somehow feel that it would be none other than the 44 Twins. How ths would happen is that they're talking while on duty again, Patton notices this and goes over to lecture them. But upon hearing them say that Rachel likes him, he asks about it in both surprise and shock.
In Rachel's case, I highly doubt she'd believe an accidental confession at first, for she wouldn't believe that Patton would hold such feelings for her. But once she began to think it over, she comes to realize that maybe Patton does infact care for her beyond just a friend. As for who would accidentally reveal this to her, I believe it would be none other than Kuki herself. How it would happen is that Rachel and Sector V are hanging out, remenising and talking about other people, and then Kuki accidentally brings up the subject, causing Rachel to stare in shock.

Hello everyone, I apologize for not updating here in awhile. But now I'm back, and I plan to put up two brand new topic discussions relating to ZERO. So without further ado, here we go!
1. Would some distance between Rachel and Patton occurr in the aftermath of ZERO?
To be honest, I do think some distance would occurr between them. My reason for thinking this is because I think that Patton would not be able to accept what had happened between them and that he was so easily forgiven, to the point that whenever he's with Rachel, he can't help but think of what occurred between them and the result of that occurrence. As a result, I feel that he'd begin to distance himself so as to try and find a way to atone for what he had done. All the while, Rachel is beginning to notice a rift growing between them, and begins to wonder why.
2. Would Patton consider Citizombie Rachel to be Rachel as well?
Going by my citizombie theory, I'd say he probably wouldn't. But even not going by my citizombie theory, I say that he probably wouldn't eitethr. My reason for believing this is that Patton cannot accept that Rachel would do certain things such as what she did when transformed. He cannot even begin to think of the Rachel he's grown to love obeying a villain or doing any of the stuff that she did.
And so now I ask you that age old question, what do you think?

Woah, I havent' updated this place in a long time, have I? Well now I'm back and I've got a brand new story concept. Here we go!
The story begins with Patton and Jeffery on their break at MoonBase, walking around and talking like they normally do. Suddenly though, Patton finds a small flower that he's never seen before, and puts it in his pocket for safe keeping. Deciding to get away from Jeff for awhile, he ends up bumping into Rachel, who is happy to see him. As the two begin to engage into a conversation, Rachel notices the flower in his cargo pants pocket, calling it an Iris. Seeing that he's confused by this, she comments that that's the name of the flower he has, which causes Patton to blush in emberassment as he hands her the flower. She beams pleasently as she states that Iris is one of her favorite flowers, him asking her if Jasmine was her favorite. She states that it is, but explains that she likes Iris just as much. Jeffery then comes out of nowhere and tells Patton that they have to leave, causing him to say good-bye to his old friend. Rachel then tells him that he forgot the Iris, but she then blushes slightly as he tells her to keep it.
Upon giving her that Iris, the next few days for Rachel are now littered with thoughts of Patton, thoughts she'd never considered before, thoughts of love. Rachel however, denies any possible idea of herself being in love with her old friend. But the idea only becomes amplified once she starts to feel giddy around him, constantly think about him, dressing her "My Most Important Person" Rainbow Monkey doll to look like him, and feeling saddened by his growing distant of her drive the nail into the coffin that she has feelings for him beyond mere friendship.
In spite of all this though, Rachel continues to deny this because of her position and the rule sperating them from ever having a relationship. But as she begins to piece everything she's felt about him from within the last week and a half, she finally reaches the true conclusion, she is in love with him. At this time, Patton enteres the room to hand over to her a last minute mission report, but stops upon seeing her shaking. Asking her what's wrong, she's turns around to face him, tears clearing falling down her beatiful face. After a moment of silence, she lunges into him as they embrace in a tight hug, one that lasts for quite awhile as she cries for her situation.
Later the following night, Rachel falls asleep with her "My Most Important Person" Rainbow Monkey in her arms. Still saddened by the situation she has thrown herself into, but no longer denying that she is happily yet tragically in love with Patton.

(raising eyebrow inquisitively) Hello. I see recent thoughts of a flower for Rachel from Patton, after quite a while since I last pondered how this coupling formula has impacted my own overall interest in Codename: Kids Next Door romance. I sense some elements of tragedy, perhaps not too surprisingly, but they're not as pronounced as what I remember from past story concepts involving Rachel and Patton together. Perhaps as a point of comparison, I might be more likely to envision, say, Lee giving Sonia a flower, primarily interpreted as a display of innocent friendship, which leads me to wonder how those two young Kids Next Door might react if they learned that Patton and Rachel were having several difficulties admitting any feelings those last two kids might have for each other.

Ah yes, the old 'give the girl a flower and she realizes through that gesture that she loves him' routine. I know it doesn't exactly fit with what I've protrayed in past stories with these two, but I always thought that it would be a great way to get Rachel to realize that she might just be falling in love with Patton.
Actually, that's not a bad idea having Sonia and Lee trying to help Rachel and Patton admit their feelings for one another. And in doing so, finally get together. You my friend, have just given me an idea.
