ZERO Closet Scene- Who's Fault Was It?

One of my favorite scenes from ZERO was the breif, but memorable scene in which Fanny and Hoagie are stuck in the closet together. Not because I thought it was interesting romantically speaking, but because they don't communicate often and I really enjoy the chemistry between them. This however, leads to their downfalls, but I've always been curious as to which one created the downfall. That said, the question is this.

Who do you think was responsible for their downfalls- Hoagie or Fanny?

I've always sort of believed it to be both their faults. Because on the one hand, if Hoagie hadn't distracted her, she might have been able to fend off the citizombie that was about to open the door.

But on the other hand, Fanny could have chose to ignore Hoagie and just continue to guard the door, like she was ordered to do so. Besides, Fanny doesn't even really like Hoagie, so it doesn't make much sense to me why she'd even be interested in what he'd have to say.

Who do you think is more responsible?

The zombies fault.....

Well, I'm not really sure whose fault was it, though. For one thing, Hoagie really dislikes Fanny, and being Hoagie he doesn't like keeping in his thoughts and just had to comment on her behaviour. While Fanny, as you know, never wants to be beaten by a boy and just had to answer back at Hoagie.

Even so, I felt that Fanny should not have turned to look at Hoagie because it was at that moment that one of the zombies reached out and.....you know what happened.........

That is true. I mean when you do sit down and think about it, it is kind of Fanny's fault. Not that she meant for it to happen, but more so because she wanted to hear what Hoagie was going to say. I still think she should have just ignored him, although to be fair she probably wanted to guard Rachel more than Hoagie.

BTW, where was Rachel then? I kinda forgot......

Yeah...poor Rachel...just thinking about that close up makes me want to barf.

I'll actually be going a little into Fanny's guilt about the sitiuation in the fourth chapter of my new fic( I'm saying that for promotional purposes, I'm just saying that because we're sort of on topic about that).
