Hmm, Bartie and Virginia, huh C7? I've never really given much thought to Bartie, but I've always perceived him as being a comic book geek given a breif shot in SLUMBER. But other than that, I haven't thought about my interpretation of him much. Your idea however of him being panicky sounds pretty interesting though. As for Virginia, well...let's just say I perceive her as being devious and just leave it at that.
I like both your theories on why Numbuh 20, 000 behaves the way he does paula. I personally like the idea of him just having a mental deffect and not really revealing why, but both of your theories are really plausable, as well as good. Hmm, so... Nemo huh? I wonder what he'd say about that?
N20,000: Nemo means...nothing!? But then that must mean that...I'm nothing!
N74.239: Oh relax, it's just a name. You shouldn't get so worked up about things like that.
Ooh, and before I end this post, I'd like to talk about another interpretation, this time revolvong around Father. My interpretation of him is the reason why he has anger issues( outside of his father and crappy childhood) is that he never had a true friend. No one was ever willing to stick their hand out to him, no one ever really wanted to play with him. This caused him to feel lonely and neglectaed in a similar fashion to his family issues. So essentially, he's not only mad at the way his father treated( and continues to treat) him, he's also mad at everyone who ever rejected him. To the point where his only fried is a small teddy bear in a likeliness of him he called Mr. Snugglebottoms. As a child though, he had to keep him a secret from GF, for as he once said " He who owns a teddy bear will be seen in my eyes as a pathetic whimp".

Well, you know...
Finding Nemo...
In the book: 20,000 leagues under the sea, the captain of the sub's name was Nemo ^^

Who knew this character development business would actually be refreshing for yours truly, at least in the Kids Next Door world? It may be safe to conclude that I have focused on the following characters, considering everything I remember.:
1. Nigel 2. Rachel 3. Wally 4. Kuki 5. Hoagie 6. Abby 7. Lee 8. Sonia 9. Patton 10. Fanny 11. Bartie 12. Virginia 13. Herbie 14. Lizzie
Maybe our separate character focuses themselves might say something about our interpretations of the world of Codename: Kids Next Door. In my case, for instance, I figured that having Hoagie settle for hanging out with Abby most often would enable those two kids to utilize their best attributes together, between Hoagie's technological expertise and Abby's calmness and loyalty. They might tease Wally and Kuki from time to time, but the first couple could certainly approve of the second couple, especially if Hoagie and Abby are intentionally attempting to get Wally and Kuki to admit their feelings for each other.
Then again, speaking of Wally and Kuki, there may be one other non-Kids Next Door kid I've come to contemplate in the context of my fanfiction model: The Kid, whom I've named Miguel. I've thought of The Kid as having interests in adventure and... Kuki. Needless to say, The Kid's flirtations with Kuki make Wally a bit angry, but also uncertain, but fortunately, I might think that Kuki is able to calm both boys down with her usual cheerfulness. As part of these two interests, The Kid might be curious about any new objects he's found, attempting to show them to Kuki and Wally -- perhaps only to get all three into trouble if anyone else is pursuing said object for more sinister purposes. That said, Miguel, Kuki, and Wally should make quite a trio helping the rest of the Kids Next Door defeat whoever's threatening them.

Ah the Kid. The mysterious piolet who has a crush on Kuki and is voiced by none other than the talented Carlos Alazuroqui( I hope I spelt that correctly). To be honest, I've never had much of an interpretation of him outside of what was presented. Although I've always perceived him to be quite a bit of a ladies man, and only rivaling Hoagie every now and then not because he likes showing off, but because he enjoys the idea of having someone he can challenge his skills against. Another idea I had for him one time was the idea that he developed an ill fated crush on Rachel that she was oblivious to. I eventually dropped the idea, but it sort of set up the spring board for my intial Rachel/Patton model.
I agree wiwth you there, I think given the chance Kuki could really calm Wally and Ace down whenever they begin to fight about her.

Hello everybody! Today I have a new character interpretation I quickly want to talk about. This time, the spotlight is on Fanny.
Now from normal KND universe to my fan universe, she's still pretty much the same character she always has been. However, I ahve a few interesting ideas that I've sort of created for her character. One is the idea that in my interpretation, is her lonliness.
It's not completely that she comes from a bad family environment per say( as we've obviously seen), but it's more so the idea that she lacks people skills. She doesn't really know how to interact with oterh people very well, and is constantly finding teh bad in people rather than the good. This causes her to not have very many friends, making very lonely, and even in some cases resistant to anyone who takes up an interest in her as a friend.
Another part of my interpretation of Fanny is the idea that she is rather secretive about her private life. Obviously this has been seen before through her giant Rainbow Monkey collection, but my interpretation takes this a few steps farther by exploring a few more of her privates interests. One is the idea that Fanny has a very special star shaped music box that she plays every night to help her fall asleep( teh music box plays Davey Jones's theme from Dead Man's Chest, a song that I think fits Fanny's hidden feelings), and another is that she's a fairly skilled animal artist.
I haven't found an interpretation of her sexism or why she even hates guys in the manner she does, but I might come up with one eventually.

Hello everyone, today I've decided that I wanted to share a brand new idea I had about my interpretation of Patton.
As I mentioned in my previous idea of my interpretation of him, I see him as a very kind and caring person in spite of being bully like every now and then. But somehow, I feel that that kindness would be his downfall. Why I think this is because to me, Patton is the kind of person who is incerdibly passionate about anything that concerns him, from interests, beliefs, the KND, and even people he cares about. A passion like that seems like he would be crushed underneath its weight someday.

Laura Limpin This is a character who made only two appearances back in Season 1, with one being just a cameo. Nevertheless, it provided enough of a framework to base a respectable amount of fanfic on, in which she appears as a more sympathetic character. As I've envisioned her, Laura can be bratty and doesn't bother to curb the tendencies of her alter-ego, the Big Badolescent, though deep down she is very lonely. On the other hand, she is openhearted, affectionate, and enthusiastic about her interests. The Big Badolescent can be talked down if you have the nerve to stand up to her. If you are close to Laura, she is fiercely loyal and will employ the Big Badolescent's impressive power for your benefit. Like Numbuh Two, Laura enjoys vintage airplanes, and also reads Incredible Hulk comics. She is the top scout in her Skunky Scout troop, and beloved by her fellow scouts. Her mother shares her condition, which provides Laura with some tough parenting. Laura also has a fear of Biff, the villain from the Back to the Future movies. Biff: "Two McFlys...with the same gun!!" Laura: (clinging to Hoagie) "Scary!!!"

I must say, that is an interesting take on this small little character. I personally have never been a fan of Laura Limpin, but you've done a very good job at portraying her in an interesting light. Her fear of Biff I must admit is pretty cute.

Thanks. Laura is a tower that I had to build from just a foundation, so I sometimes think of her more or less as my character. Through all the fanfics I put her in, she basically turned out like a combination of Goo from Foster's and Kaolla Su from Love Hina.
I remember before you said you had visited my site; thanks. One of these days, I'm gonna spring for a premium account and get the ads off the page.

Really? Well that's understandable, she didn't get much in the way of character development in the series, so I can understand why you'd consider her your own character. It's very much the same way with me in Patton, I've developed him so much that I've even considered him my own character at times. And although I've never watched/read Love Hina, I can totally see where you're coming from with Goo.
You're very welcome. I hope you can get a premium account soon, ads do tend to get quite annoying at times.

It's hard not to think of Goo when I write Laura, since they've both been voiced by Grey Delisle at some point or another. Tootie's another runner up in this catagory.

Here's a question: do you ever start thinking about the character in terms of your fanfics as opposed to what's in the show? I'm not necessarily talking about actually getting confused as to what's canon and what's not, just that when you read your extended interpretations of characters, it feels like a natural progression.
For instance, when I do Dragon Ball fanfics, I usually pair Goku with Arale from Akira Toriyama's Dr. Slump, and the interaction I write for them really seems to flesh out their characters. It's gotten to the point where the stories might be losing their thrill factor of "LOOK THERE'S A DR. SLUMP CHARACTER IN A DRAGON BALL FANFIC", as Arale becomes just another Dragon Ball character to me.

Yes, I do actually. Don't get me wrong, I love KND. But I'm so invested in these characters as if they were my own that I'm almost more fo a fan of my own stuff than the actual show itself.
