Yeah... I've been asking that myself for a while now. I've thought over for my own KND AU could take over after ZERO aired--but it's not about that. Where should have KND ended? Season six was just a tad too dark for me. (though there was a few episode enjoyments. SCIENCE, AMISH, MOON...) Now I'm beginning to realize that it should have ended after ZERO. It would be a satisfying ending to me. ^_^ Even if Numbuh Zero was decommissioned in the end, there's always fanfics.

I think the last season both tied up some loose ends and left more unanswered questions, but without season 6, who would be likely to think up of a galactic KND? And the fact that it was basically made canon, it wouldn't just be an idea. I haven't seen all the season 6 episodes, but I think KND was fine ending where it did.

I'm sort of mixed. On the one hand I agree with you Allie, I think ZERO would have made a fantastic ending for various( and obvious) reasons. But on teh other hand, I feel that season six would have been a great way to end should it not have been so dark.
My idea for season six would be to have the last thirteen episodes sort of deeling with how everyone is affected by ZERO in common KND fashion. For example, we could have an entire episode where Nigel spent a day with his dad to make up for ZERO, or even episodes centered around how Sector V felt, how Rachel fet, how Fanny felt, and hell even how Patton felt.

Ah but the thing is, isn't KND one of these cartoons where one episode doesn't directly affect another? Some do, and will change certain things in later episodes, but it's not continuous, so that sort of thing just wouldn't have happened. It would have been interesting to see though.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that. Sorry RohaHat, I guess I've been stuck in my own fan canon for too long. Thanks for reminding me though. I'm also glad you like my idea.

!00 seasons of KND? I don't know if that would be such a good idea. I mean yes I love KND, but I don't think it would be very good if they kept going on like a certain Matt Greoning show which shall remain nameless.

I think it ended pretty well, actually. I mean, I like the idea of Numbuh One going to his full potential and going to the Galactic KND. However, I would've definitely changed INTERVIEWS if I could've. I was a little disappointed by it. And it was nice to know who ended up with who. But yes, Operation ZERO would've also been a good way to end the show....Although either way, I'm still peeved off that there was no official 3/4 confession....Yeah yeah I'm too obsessed with it blah blah blah I don't care it's the way I am! *Ahem* And I don't think the last season was too dark...It wasn't too bad. I mean, it's about an organization sworn to protect kids from evil villains. There was bound to be a few dark moments.
I'm rambling. I guess what I'm trying to say in short is, I think it ended well. And I'm glad it didn't end at ZERO. For me, the more episodes the show made, the better!

I actually enjoy the idea of KND having some darkness to it as well, considering the fact that I've always viewed the show as an action dramadey. But I think the major problem a lot of people had with season six was that it became a little too dark for people's tastes. That's not to say that some people didin't liek it, but I really do find season six to be very polarizing because of the mixed reaction its received and still receives.
I agree with you though, I wanted a kuki/Wally confession too! I may not be a huge fan of teh couple, but even I was anticipating it and it never happened. OH well, at least they were implied to have gotten married later in life.
