August 11th 2009, it has been exactly three years ago and yet the episode of KND that aired on this day has an impact on today's fans. The episode in question is Operation ZERO, the series only TV Movie, and probably one of teh best episodes in the entire series in my opinion. But just why is it that it was so impactful upon many people? That said, the question is this.
What do you think were the most memorbale moments in ZERO and what made them so memorable?
For my answer, I actually have a few to list:
.The first is the opening sequence. It's rather well done, has good pace, and let's not forget the awesome remix of the KND theme playing in teh background.
.The second is Grandfather himself. Aside from having awesome design and voice, he just has one of those arrogant yet evil personalities you can't help but enjoy to watch.
.The third is the unexpected twist on the ever anticipated Wally/Kuki kiss scene. I've come to find this memorbale not because of the Wally/Kuki aspect, but more so because they took what peoepl were expecting to be a really sweet kiss scene, and completely turned it on its ear.
.The fourth is Rachel's samurai armor. Come on, let's face it, she looks awesome in that outfit! It's a shame they never brought it back.
.The fifth is the big fight 60/362 fight scene. It may not last very long, but it's very well choreographed, it shows that Rachel is a capable fighter, and let's face it, Pattpn's reactions to getting socked in teh face numerous times are pretty priceless.
.The sixth is the breif closet scene between 2/86. I don't think it's memorbale from a romantic stand point, but more so because of the mere fact that these two just absolutely hate each other, and would rather not be in the same room for at least five minutes.
.And the seventh and final aspect is the secrecy of this production from the production crew. I think this makes ZERO so memorable and so well liked is because they kept so much about this film under lock and key that no one knew teh majority of the things that were going to happen, which made it a huge shock for people.
Well, that's my list, and now for that age old question. What in your mind made ZERO so memorable?
