I really want to use Numbuh 6000 Octal, but all the other GKND RPs have gone on for a while and I'd rather not put hov in abruptly. Anybody care to help me ease hov in?

kk. There's just one question I have: Have any of your characters actually gone through the orientation process in an RP, or is there some agreed-upon way of doing it? That's what I wanted to start with, but I know little to nothing about it.
EDIT: I remembered about the original GKND RP, and I'll work with that as the model.

Ha-HA! Le double bumpariffic post! My evil homework goblins have been pestering me for so long that I couldn't hang around this place, but I'm back... for now. Do you guys think Tigore might become known enough to be put in group pictures? I feel so left out. =P --- A strange can-shaped capsule zoomed through space toward a massive structure, built far enough away from any planet to not be caught within the view of any adult spying devices. On board the capsule were two Kids Next Door operatives from the planet Ziliu, better known as Lias E Fosh (Kids of the Village) operatives. Both were quite tall by Earth kid standards, with blue-gray skin, long blond "hair", three fingers on each hand and black bug-like eyes. In fact, the only outward differences were purely aesthetic.
The first operative was a boy who styled his dailis (the "hair") like surfer hair and wore a black suit similar to that worn by the infamous Numbuh Infinity. He rarely told his real name, and was instead called Numbuh 9 Octal, a number which cannot actually exist. "Alright, Tigore," he said. "We're almost there."
The other operative was a kulm: neither boy nor girl, but something else. Che was clad in a blue shirt, purple skirt, black tights and a pair of sneakers with the number 6000 imprinted on the sides in forchip'partu. Tigore, most often called Numbuh 6000 Octal, was already peering out the window, with han beehive daili-do tilting backward.
"Wow!" Tigore shouted. "That's gotta be the biggest, most absolutely gi-huge-ic building in the entire universe!" Numbuh 9 Octal grinned. He assumed all the new galactive operatives were like that. "That's right. And that's where you're going to live from now on, fighting the scourge of adulthood. You like?" Tigore spun around to face him. "Yes, I like! I like very much!"
"Good," said Numbuh 9 Octal. "Have fun and good luck. Bye now!" Before Tigore knew what was happening, the floor opened up beneath hov and che fell through a tunnel onto the floor in the middle of a large hall. --- There. After three months, I'm finally able to post it. Feel free to have your characters try to hog the spotlight if that's what they do. Honestly, I don't mind! It keeps the story going.

Walking from a random direction to a random direction, Corin happened to walk though that exact same hallway. Being kids, people falling from the ceiling were nothing out of the ordinary, and he initially walked on, until he spotted the suitcase. After deducting for a moment, he walked towards the newcomer.
"Hello there. Who are you?"

Tigore looked up at the gigantic eyeball which appeared to be walking toward hov. Thinking che was still dazed from the drop, che shook han head and looked back, realizing Corin was no hallucination.
"ACK A GIANT EYEBALL! And one with a weird skin color, too." Tigore got over the initial shock as soon as che had acquired it, holding out han hand. "You must be one of the other Galactic operatives. I'm Tigore. Mind helping me up, uh...?"

A small, cream furred feline alien stuck her head though a door moments after she a heard the crash. Her golden eyes streched wide as she spotted the new operative, both from curiosity and amazment from the fact that the kid had seemed to of fallen from the ceiling.
"Hey, Fin, we have a guest," She poked her head back into the room for a second, and within an instant, another alien was beside her. He tilted his large, bat-like ears toward the kid curiously. He smiled, "Well, let's go," he flapped over to the new kid, followed by Milo-Lee.
"Do you always fall though ceilings?" She said with a trace of a smirk, "Or is this just a special circumstance?" She laughed a little, as she continued to hover a foot or so of the ground, trying to stay at eye level with the kid. "I'm Milo-Lee, and this," she nodded toward the boy, "Is Finnick," He smiled and chuckled a bit, waiting for the kid to introduce his or herself, as he wasn't sure which the kid was.

Tigore got up with Corin's help. Che still didn't know his name, but che was already distracted by the two new faces. "My name's Tigore. You can tell I'm new here, but they said I was the most qualified operative on Ziliu." Che prodded Milo-Lee in the face with one of han dailis. "So... what are you guys supposed to be?"

Shortly after Tigore spoke, a pair of identical aliens ran past him, their long tails floating behind them. One of the boys noticed the new alien and skidded to a stop, grabbing the hand of the other green boy, halting him as well. They turned back and walked toward the small group that had gathered. With a slight disinterested frown, the boys looked the newest operative up and down. Dark teal hair covered most of their heads, stopping just above their mouths, covering their eyes and thus making it nearly impossible to tell what they were thinking.
One spoke. "Who's the new kid?" His webbed hand tousled his own hair slightly in confusion. He looked at Milo-Lee for an answer instead of the peculiar operative that stood before him.

Looking at the twins, Corin blinked once, before answering.
"Dunno. Seemed to fall out of the ceiling."

"That's not common?" Tigore rubbed han chin and pondered this. Then the obvious dawned on hov: There had been some kind of mistake.
"Okay, so Numbuh 9 Octal dropped me off at the wrong place. Although..." Che looked around. "...there doesn't seem to be an entrance." Che gazed at the cadre of bizarre beings and giggled sheepishly. "Could any of you be kind enough to show me around? The guy who dropped me off didn't have his bearings straight." --- (I think the reason this happened was because something similar happened to Nigel in the first RP, but there wasn't enough detail and I imagined him sorta... falling through a hole in the ceiling. It also appeared that other operatives are not told of their arrival and must introduce themselves in person.)

Milo-Lee bobbed backwards a little in the air as she was poked by Tigore, but before she could respond, two more operatives had arrived. She looked over her shoulder to find the twins, One of the twin, whom she had never found a way to tell them apart and rarely made an effort to, asked about the kid standing in front of her. She spun around as Corin told them that the new kid had fallen from the ceiling, "Yeah, Tigore, I think..." She looked back at the kid, as if to confirm this, but turned back before he responded.
"That's not common?"
Finnick turned to Tigore, "Well, I don't know if you could really call anything around here common," He giggled a little. "But a new op falling from the sky doesn't happen everyday," He smiled kindly at the kid, "We'd be happy to show you around," He added, pulling something from his tool belt/sash. He pushed a few botton on the small, glowing box, and a holo-map of the base appeared. "As you can see, it's kind of easy to get lost," He tilted his ears toward the huge, glowing map, then pressed a few more buttons to zoom it in of their general location.

Looking at the map, Corin remembered where he was going before, and decided to invite the rest to join him. "Say, can't we talk about this in the cafeteria? I'm Famished!"
Waiting for a response, he set his eye towards the right direction.

"Mmm, that sounds good!" Tigore said, greatly expressing han liking of the idea, having not eaten for several hours. "Two questions, though, Mr..." "Corin." "Right. How's your depth perception... and how exactly do you EAT?"
(Ha-HA! I continue the running gag.)
