SO ONCE, as a competition, my friends and I wrote our own riddles! Some of these are pretty hard, but see if you can guess any of my riddles!
1. trotting, trotting,
stench of death.
mournful hymn
on every breath.
what am I?
2. I spent my whole life in three different stages,
and one of these in a few layers of cages.
Delicate, gentle, I always fly high
my paper-thin wings against floating blue sky.
What am I?
3. Glory has on sand been laid,
tradition here has now been slayed.
The crown has passed from them to me
and I am different, you see.
Who am I?
(a specific person in history)
4. equality and bravery,
silver 'round for all to see.
Wooden and symbolically,
and now we let the lances flee.
What am I?
5. Spinning and moving,
Some say I'm soothing,
I'm constantly gaining and losing.
What am I?
6. Some people say I am a thief,
but that's not really fair.
'Circular' is more my thing,
and great feasts for me are rare.
What am I?
7. Brothers and sisters have not I,
I'll turn you to anger in the blink of an eye.
I heighten the fury and make the heart cold
and tales of mere rage are the tales that I've told.
What am I?

8. I dance in the wind
and I spark in the air
though someone might say
I have a bit of a flare.

9. The depth of betrayal
on military reign,
the dirt is my throne
and dry is my vein.
