Etoile peeked out from behind Nalo, his eyes wide with the utmost fear. His ears and antennae were pulled back meekly as he continued to try to hide, hoping that Nalo would be able to save him from the vengeful alien. He could technically save himself, just by lifting her up and refusing to put her down, but not only was that rude, but it would probably just piss her off even more.
In a desperate attempt to calm her down, he started blurting out the fastest apology that he could.
"I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT, IT WASN'T MEANT FOR YOU, IT WAS MEANT FOR THEM, IT WAS JUST A SMALL PRANK, Y'KNOW, THEY LAUGHED AT ME, I-IT WAS JUST IN FUN, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME, I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE, I HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO DO SO MANY THINGS, LIKE FALL IN LOVE OR FINALLY BE TALLER THAN MY MOM, OR EAT A MOUND OF GALACTIC SPAGHETTI AS BIG AS MY HEAD!"

Nalo, stood in quite possibly the worst place to be, just glanced between the two rapidly, confused. Whatever had happened, she wasn't going to let anyone kill anyone else.

Ynda slowly started walking towards the pair, her eyes narrowed furiously. Just as she was about to show Etoile her claws that she was planning to attack him with, she heard his majorly fast and random apology. She was a little taken aback; not only because he spoke so quickly that she could hardly understand it, but also because this was the first time someone apologized to her in such a fearful fashion.
Ynda decided that since they were aboard a ship, among plenty of other aliens, she should leave it like this. Resorting to a calmer pose, she crossed her arms and shot him a sadistic grin. "Fine," she said casually, both eyebrows raised. "That'll do... for now." She flashed him a wider grin as if to imply she'd get her revenge later on. Then she turned away and walked back to her "seat", hopping up Dengeki's lap.

Etoile stood, trembling, terrified that he was going to get murdered when he was least expecting it. Sometime during the encounter, he had fastened a vice-like grip on one of Nalo's limbs, holding it so tightly that his skin was bloodless around his knuckles.
He prayed that either she would take pity on him later and forgo the revenge entirely, or forget about it. But the chances were slim, and Etoile began pondering his imminent death.
". . . D-does this mean no spaghetti?"

As Ynda turned and walked away, one of the metal hands which Nalo was keeping on standby was raised and formed a universally-known offensive hand gesture in her direction. She really didn't like the girl. Lowering the hand again before Ynda could possibly see it, she turned to look over her shoulder, checking up on the cowering boy behind her. This journey definitely wasn't starting out well for him.

"Thanks." Etoile chanced a smile at his friend, although it was weak and a rather pathetic attempt. His fingers finally let go of where they had latched onto her limb and he hastily stepped back, laughing weakly.
"For the record," he tried to joke, "I'm still as tough as I was before."
A rather sad attempt to lighten the situation, but given his rather rocky start on this mission, Etoile was beginning to wonder if it was possible to navigate from the bathroom. With a locked door. And preferably with chains.
"I'm just. . . uhhh. . . gonna go navigate now." His face flushed slightly and he edged away, giving Nalo a quick salute and hurrying away back to his station as fast as his little feet would take him.

By the time the ruckus had already passed, Nebulos finally managed to unbuckle his seatbelt. His tiny hands wrung here and there and eventualy managed to unlock the belt, which proved be a tad more difficult than locking it. But his spirits hadn't gone down one bit due this event. Instead, he seemed excited as ever, now the mission had officially begun. His little hands wrapped themselvs around the dainty telescope and he leapt off his seat, feet thudding gently on the floor. He shook his hair out of his eyes, improving his eyesight so, and made way for the center of the ship. He didn't know exactly where to go, seeing how the ship was so large and he was so small, but he decided he'd better make sure his teammates were all fine.
The blue boy glanced around, seeing Etoile scurry over to his coordinate panel, looking slightly flushed. He sympathized with the yellow alien, who seemed to be having the hardest time to adjust to the operatives he hadn't met before. Turning his head, his pale eyes caught Niji. Smiling, he raised a hand and waved at her, two other hands holding the telescope carefully.
"Hi Niji! If you need help with anything, you can always ask me, okay? I'll be right here!"
His eyes narrowed to happy curves once more, his antennea flickering gently. He knew his friend was just as capable as any operative on this ship, but chances were she might get a little confused when it came to handling the machines. Though he was quite sure she'd handle things just fine, he just wanted to make sure that she knew he was here if she needed him. He was quite confident in all of his teammates, regardless if he knew them for a long time or not. He hadn't picked up any hostility from either of them (Ynda possibly being the exception, but he knew it was mostly facade anyway) and he trusted them completely.
He began to walk on, his eye catching each operative as he passed them, flashing them a broad smile and an antennea-flicker. This was going to be great!

When the twins felt the water splash onto them from what seemed like no where, they were relieved, instead of annoyed, as Etoile had hoped for. While enjoying the little hydration that had hit them, they contemplated the source of the liquid. Then, it came to Dengeki. The relief turned to fury as he realized that Etoile gotten them back for laughing at his scream. Rule number one in the twin's non existent rule book of pranks, was that they ALWAYS got the last laugh. But before they could say something about it, Dengeki felt Ynda jump off his lap and beat him to it. After seeing the fear in Etoile's eyes, they felt that it would suffice and they had won this round.
As they watched Etoile walk away to do his navigating duties, they realized that although Ynda had won the round, they still needed to come up with a prank to get him back for themselves. While he was still in earshot, they yelled to the yellowy alien. "WE'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME, GANMADE!!! SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN"

Etoile turned around in his wheeling chair and used one scarlet-tipped finger to pull down his lower eyelid, sticking his purple tongue out at the twins, making sure that they saw his face before swiveling back around in his chair as though he had done absolutely nothing at all. He might be afraid of the raging Ynda, but the twins he felt like he could handle.
And then he began to work, fiddling around with the instruments and smiling when they began to hum under his touch. "Identifying coordinates," he murmured, searching the map for the headquarters once more before realizing that he had no idea what they looked like. Would they simply be marked "Evil headquarters," or would he have to guess.
Deciding to search for it first, he figured that radioing the White Lady would wait until he was certain that he could not find it. After all, he was enjoying the work, and the feeling that he was a part of something significant.
If anyone was watching closely enough, they would have noticed that his tail, poking out of his chair, had begun to wag happily.

The twins got up and started to walk to the main engine room. Seeing as they had to pass behind Etoile on their way there, they found that this was the perfect opportunity to start part one of their plans to get back at him for his water stunt. Unagi started to sneak up behind Etoile, silently gesturing for his brother to do the same. As soon as they had gotten behind him on either side, they very softly touched their tails to his exposed neck. After counting a 1,2,3 on his slender fingers, a tiny shock was emitted from their blue appendages. It wasn't enough to hurt him, but just enough to make him jump.

Etoile leaped as volts of electricity leaped into his skin, jolting him enough that he almost fell out of his seat. Almost, but not quite. Rubbing his neck, he glared at the twins; he honestly hadn't expected them to take revenge so quickly, and he had to admit that they were good.
But two could play at that game, he realized, feeling clever as he watched them walk away. He let them walk, allowed them to think that they had won.
And then, when they were across the room and about to leave, Etoile let his telekinetic grip drift across the room, taking a hold of their shoes, and pulled, sending both twins face-first into the floor and innocently turning back to his controls as though he had done nothing.

An "Oof" escaped the throats of the fish boys as they hit the ground. As they lied there, Dengeki turned his head and looked at Unagi. "Weird" He muttered and sat up, trying to find what he had tripped over. After finding nothing but the smooth silver floor of the rocket, he realized that he and his mirror hadn't tripped over something, but someone had tripped them. Unagi seemed to realize this at the same time, and whispered. "I hope he knows this means war."
Each silently devised a plan in his head, walking back to Etoile and again, appeared on either side of him. "You know," Dengeki started. "you're not that bad. But, you're going up against a pair of trained professionals." Unagi joined in. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Etoile didn't look at them as he fiddled with the control, setting the systems so that he was able to work with them. But a wry grin had taken over his face; he didn't know why, but the twins already felt like his brothers in a way, and he felt comfortable with messing around with them as compared to anyone else.
"I think I can handle it," he shrugged innocently, as though he was talking about doing something simple, like diving off of a board and into a pool of water. "You might be trained professionals, but I'm a fast learner."
Flashing them a row of yellow teeth, he went back to his controls, as though they weren't even there.

The twins returned the smile, their sharp purple teeth like daggers. "Good", their reply was in unison. "You, my friend have mad a commitment." Unagi began, letting his brother finish with "Which means no backing out." Their next word was said together again. "Ever." Their gaze shifted downward to the map that Etoile had laid out in front of himself. They pointed to radioactivly green planet. Dengeki spoke softly. "This is where we're from. Xanaduatama. I kind of miss it. Our older brother is still there, and I doubt he knows where we are now." He looked back at his brother, and abruptly cut the conversation short. "Well, we should be going, take care then!" They started to walk away, Unagi patting the short boy on the head, muttering "Such a cute boy".
When they were sure Etoile was out of earshot, they burst into laughter and Unagi licked his hand. Their prank was simple. Unagi had had a packet of paste from a berry, similar to a ketchup packet, that would stain anything it touched. Because of its lime green colouration, it didn't show up on Unagi's hand, where he had spread it, but it had shown up in the form of a handprint on the top of the navigation specialist's head.

Etoile glanced at them suspiciously, questioning their facade, and then warily returned to his map, promising that he'd get them really good later, when he had time to think of something properly. He didn't have much experience pranking, but it was only a matter of time before he found something worthwhile to do to them.
Completely oblivious to the handprint that was now sitting loftily on top of his mass of curls, Etoile continued to search for the headquarters, determined to find it soon so that they could finally get going.
