I don't have much information down for Nalo, since she's my newer characters and I'm still fine tuning details. Originally I had a little flying pillow (a Pegilow, an alien breed I invented) following her around and talking for her but that got annoying. XD; But I don't actually WANT her to have telepathy, I want to get rid of that, but it would be difficult for her to communicate otherwise. But now I think about it, if I'm introducing her in a full-length paragraph RP, that would give more oppurtunity for expressing what she does without words. XD;
SO YEAH, CURRENT FINAL DECISION: Her species does NOT have telepathy ( ): ) and are normally capable of speaking. They have awesome language absorbing skills, too.
Okay, basics of Nalo!
She's from the planet Revliss, and is the species Chiz. (I love those names x3) I imagine her planet to have a lot of metal coloured liquid, but I have no final details about her planet down yet. XD The lack of hands and feet, as visible on the picture, is a species trait, so no one on her planet has hands or feet. XD Her species usually has grey skin of some shade, and eye colour is usually metallic but there are a few exceptions.
Her insides, if you were to cut her open, are basically made of living, metal, morphing tissue. She can morph the metal to any shape she wants, and it will not hurt her to have these new appendages burst through her skin. XD; The skin quickly adheres to the new appendage and it doesn't really count as a wound, and the new hole in the skin will heal almost instantly once the metal limb is withdrawn. So she kind of has regenerative powers over her own body there. XD; Her blood is harmful to others though; because of the high metal concentration, if it gets into other alien’s blood, it could potentially kill them, unless of course they can tolerate that kind of thing. XD But it would certainly harm a human being.
Her clothes are also made from a special regenerative material, so when the metal tears through them they can fix themselves almost instantly. The metal parts of her body, so her insides, feel fleshy to touch, but once they become new limbs and stuff, they become more solid. This metal is also very difficult to break, but if it did then you'd see that the core of the new limbs will carry blood almost to the tip, like the blood vessel or whatever it is inside a cat/dog/rabbit/guinea pig claw. You know how you have to be careful when clipping their claws so you don’t hit that vessel? Yeah. XD
Okay enough about that. XD Although she cannot speak, Nalo is fluent in many languages, and can absorb another being's native language by touching them for a short period of time, but it's faster if she touches the neck, spinal area, or base of the skull especially. This is another species trait. Same goes for levitation. Since her species have no proper feet, walking is nearly impossible for them. They usually move whilst hovering a short distance above the ground. They can trip and fall though. XD
Personality wise, Nalo… is a bit of a mixture. XD Initially she was a very serious girl, but after doodling her making lots of different faces, I liked them too much to think that she would so rarely make them. XD So her mood can swing quickly, but I do think usually she has a level head and her emotions in control.
I’m not sure what her family life is like, or how reproduction works on her planet at all. XD
Also, in case I bring him back in later: the pegilows. They’re an alien breed I invented a while ago, and they just look like furry pillows with faces and wings. Their primary function, as suggested by Yuki, is to fly around and eat the nasty vegetables that parents across the universe are forcing kids to eat. XD Pegilows will eat just about any kind of greenery. I initially had a little pegilow follow Nalo around and talk for her, and the pegilow was called Wulf, but he annoys me. XD Pegilows don’t have a very keen grasp of words, and talk ungrammatically and stuff.
