If it weren't for the fact that she was more interested in the shiny things the boy held, Zoelin might've started up her tails and begin flying. At the moment, however, she was hanging on for dear life, her legs wagging about while she was still airborne.
"THEY'RE MYYYYYY SHINIES GO AWAAAAAAY," he squaked at her, still flapping his arms.
"Hey! Leave him alone, you idiot!" Another one yelled, this one being the tiny green girl she had accidently knocked over earlier. While keeping her grip on Cyril, Zoelin could only reply with an equal yell.
"No...He's got 'em. He's got the things I've been looking for!" -----------------------
If she hadn't been in this room, Lunira wouldn't believe it. Right there up in the air was her other friend, one who particularly liked certain things, keeping a hold on Cyril. She cringed a little when seeing Ynda being knocked off, but was glad she landed on her feet.
"Zoelin, what the heck are you doing?" She knew the question would be given the same answer as before, but it was the only thing she could think of.
Then, more quietly she added to herself, "I think we should go help him."

"THEY'RE MY SHINIES! NO TOUCHIE!" he continued, eventually losing velocity completely and falling onto the floor, flat on his back. "Nyoww!" was the yelp of pain he emitted, but still he flapped his wings at the strange creature attacking him. From across the room, Vibe had noticed the commotion, and more often than not she would swoop in and drag him out of harms way, but since the threat wasn't Ynda she couldn't be bothered.

Ynda breathed a loud hiss when she heard Zoelin's reply and extracted her claws on one paw. "Have you been looking for a black eye?! Because you should go to me for that!" she snapped. She wasn't only angry because her friend was being attacked, the fact she couldn't even help him because of her sad height pissed her off even more.
That's why she ran to them immediately as soon as Cyril hit the floor. Instead of scratching her, however, Ynda jumped on Zoelin's back and started pulling her hair as hard as she could in attempt to distract her attention from Cyril.
"Leave him alone!" she repeated in a yell. "He hasn't done anything to you, it's his stuff!"

When Ynda suddenly jumped into the disagreement, the bird boy just stared at her. "Ynda this is my fight!" Cyril squawked in protest, apparently not appreciating the help at all. But with Ynda's distraction he did pull away from the girl, hopping backwards a few steps and staring at the resulting scuffle between the girls.

While still pulling the girl's yellow hair, Ynda looked at Cyril and shot him a glare, narrowing both eyes. "I see you fighting!" she snapped, pounding her feet on Zoelin's back. "You should appreciate my bloody help because you're too much of a coward to fight her off!"

His beak dropped open in surprise for a moment, before he became airborne again, then just a yellow blur, zooming past Ynda and - very deliberately - smacking her hard in the face with his wing. When he became visible again some distance away, still flapping his wings to stay hovering above the ground, he squawked "I'm not a coward so don't call me one! I just didn't want to hurt her!! I don't blame her for wanting my shinies, they're AWESOME!!"

Ynda received the hit completely unexpectedly. Incapable of keeping up with Cyril's sudden speed, she felt his wing smack her in the face, hard enough to make her lose her balance. She let go of Zoelin's hair and fell to the ground once more, unable to land painlessly on her paws this time.
Exhaling a moan in pain, she lifted herself while laying one paw on the stinging spot on her face. Eyes wide in shock and disbelief, she merely stared at Cyril while he yelled at her, not even considering a snappy response to throw back at him. Quietly, she lowered her head to move her teary eyes out of view. Not only did the result of his slap hurt quite a bit, she was also hurt by the fact he out of all aliens had given it to her.

Having watched Ynda fall and lower her head, Cyril tilted his head to the side a little, blinking with confused blue eyes. "Aren't you gonna hit me or something?" he asked, having fully expected that. He had achieved what he wanted; Ynda wasn't hurting his attacker, and his attacker wasn't trying to steal his shiny items at the moment. But Ynda's response had left him bewildered, he was fully expecting some sort of painful repercussion for the outburst.

Even if Ynda wanted to hit him, she had a feeling the shock had left her paralyzed at the moment. She tried desperately to hold her tears back, as they hadn't appeared because of the pain. She was just filled with just as much bewilderment as Cyril, though for different reasons.
Eventually, she stood up from the floor and raised her head, allowing him to see her tears. However, she whiped them away soon after and made a partially succesful attempt to glare at him.
"Don't worry, I won't try to help you anymore," was the only thing she spat at him, although the tone in her voice gave away she felt hurt. She then turned away from the bird alien and slowly moved to the couch Nebulos and Lunira were seated on. Without a word, she jumped on the cushion on the other side and leaned back, gazing down at her lap.

"Now, now, Mister Sebes, you're using that information against me. I should have never told you that Telarians are notorious cheaters, you'll never let me live it down."
"I won't." came his simple, dry reply. It was impossible to tell if he was kidding or if he was being dead serious. Then again, such matters were pretty much always impossible to tell. Even when they were playing games it was often impossible to tell if he was having the time of his life or was being as bored as anything. It were usually the tiny little details which did the trick. Like the little glint in his eyes.
"I'll beat you fair and square." was the girl's challenge. Masurao didn't comment on the idea, but continued looking serious, neither confirming Tala's suspicions, or claiming them to be ridiculous. Instead, he gave his tail a short flick.
"Ready? GO!"
And off they were, one yellow-green blur next to a dark-blue one, which was a little harder to discern in the mild obscurity. As they dashed for the staircase, neck to neck, the furry boy was already letting his eyes wander across his surroundings in the distance. Attending the Egriadanian academy, Masurao had been trained to use anything in nearest environment to his advantage if he could, even if it was merely for a simple game as this. And he seemed to have found something.
The blue teen lowered his speed a bit, letting the girl pass him and get ahead of him as they ran. His eyes were focused on something near the ceiling and then, nimbly, he suddenly kicked off the floor. Masurao flew a few feet into the air, his gaze still fastened upon the same spot. Then, his lean fingers latched themselves around a tube which ran horizontally across the ceiling, just above the foot of the stairs. In his rush, he used the tube to revolve around it once, and then launched himself like a speeding bullet down the stairs. He soared through the air like some oddly shaped furry bird and successfully landed a few feet in front of Tala, down the stairs. Without a second glance, the eager youth bolted down further, the steps hardly considered an obstacle, and inwardly content he'd decided not to wear his boots that day.

It all happened at once.
Suddenly, there was a red streak soaring through the air, which Nebulos momentarily mistook for one of Etoile's telekinetic blasts. Startled, he wrinkled his comic book some more as he snapped his head up, there witnessing the most bizarre scene. There was a trio of aliens, suspended in mid-air. It was a mass of fur and feathers and colours. The something green fell from the sky and to the floor and the streaks of gold and red bolted through the air. Nebulos was most bewildered at this unexpected event and glanced down at Lunira when she suggested they'd render help. "Uhh..." he began unsurely. If Nebulos would find any way to help, he surely would. The problem was he didn't have a single clue where they could possibly begin helping.
But soon it appeared that they didn't need to. The three aliens had scattered. Ynda sat on the floor, her back facing them. He didn't really have an idea what had been going on, it had been very confusing. But suddenly there was yelling and before Nebulos could register what was going on, Ynda was heading their way. He looked down at her, his befuddlement not subsiding, rather increasing when he saw the look on her face. It was rather unusual. His pale, but kind eyes trailed her, all the way up to the couch as she sat there, his head now turned into her direction. He blinked once, tilting his head to the side. He then glanced over at Lunira for a second, made sure to squeeze the paw he still held gently once again. He didn't know why, but felt the need to do so.
"Are... Are you alright?" he inquired, focusing upon his green friend once again. One eye was slightly squinted in concern, sounding just slightly hesitant, as he knew Ynda never really liked to speak about her emotions very openly. But something seemed to be bother her, undoubtedly.

Ynda hardly moved when she heard Nebulos ask her that question. She had seen it coming, but that didn't make her any less reluctant to answer with the truth - especially in a room filled with other aliens. Trying to look grumpy as usual, she turned away her head from him. "I'm fine."

Nebulos stared at her for a bit, his one hand still holding Lunira's and the others resting at his sides. "No you're not..." he said quietly, almost as if he was talking to himself and not the the girl next to him. He squeezed his lips together for a seconds, as if he was in deep thought, his white eyes wandering across her upset face, as if he was trying to seek an answer there, but could not find one.
The blue teen sat there for another minute, not saying anything. "Do you just want to sit for a bit?" he then suggested in a tranquil voice, looking at the wall opposite him now. He knew, out of experience, that there didn't exactly need to be much exchange of words to soothe. Just a presence, some company, had certain healing powers that words or Ynda's beam from her head had not. Over the years, it had been a bit easier to read Ynda through her concealed messages and bodylanguage, rather than what she actually said out loud. he was quite convinced of the idea that if she wanted to have a word, she'd make it obvious to him.

Niji slowly opened her eyes, and rubbed her eyes tiredly. She could hear muffled sounds of yelling, indicating that there was some kind of fight going on somewhere...Most likely the main room. Niji intended to investigate further but was soon reminded of the mess she had made earlier before her nap. She sighed, opting to simply gather all the feathers in a force field and tossing them in the garbage. ..."Why didn't I think of that sooner?" She wondered self-deprecatingly. As she went to the mirror to freshen up, her thoughts drifted to Masurao, and wondered if the wolf-alien checked up on her while she was asleep. "No, I don't think he did." She dismissed lightly, "He wouldn't have left me on the floor..." She opened the door to her room and poked her head out looking around for him. She raised an eyebrow. "Where could he be?" She thought aloud. She was so used to him being around, that when he wasn't, she would miss him very much.

Blast it, he was fast!
Tala had gone into the race with hopes of winning, but without any expectations of doing so. Not when he was used to vigorous training that she was only beginning to be introduced to. By now she was well-used to training with Masurao, but not under the extreme standards that he set for himself. It would be only logical that he would win.
A devious thought pricked at the back of her mind, making her grin. It would be so easy to cheat at this moment, so easy to bring herself victory. A small tug on his boots to trip him up, a small spurring of her own heels. . . it wouldn't be so hard to win this race, not if she really wanted to.
But she had promised Masurao a clean, fair race, and so he would get it, whether at the price of her dignity or not.
It was as she had expected; he was the first one back into the living room. She was practically sprinting behind him, but she hadn't been able to keep up, and so she tried to tell him that he had won.
But unfortunately, her feet didn't exactly agree with her.
Unable to stop in time, she went careening into a familiar, larger body and ended up slamming into Dengeki at top speed, toppling backwards and ending up on the floor at his feet. One hand went up to clutch at her head, which did not agree with the sudden halt.
"Woah. Hello, 'Geki," she greeted slightly, attempting a shaky smile. "Fancy running into you here! Get it? Running into?"
Across the room, Etoile smiled at the sight of his sister, who looked much better than she had when she left. He had to roll his eyes a bit at her feeble attempt at a joke, but just to see her smiling again. . . that made up for it all.

Ynda bit her lip when she heard Nebulos prove her wrong. She should've known better than to put up a defensive attitude in front of him; he'd always been able to see right through her. If it weren't for the fact they weren't the only ones in the room, she would've expressed what she actually felt - which was far from actual anger. She mostly felt hurt, both inwardly and outwardly.
By means of replying to his question, she simply nodded, not looking up. "Sure... Just keep that stupid Pigeon away from me," she mumbled, filling her voice with slight indignation.
