*claps* Nicely, done Jas! *gives you a small cookie for the short post* -------------------------------------------------------------------
In response, Cyril only squaked proclaiming his things belonged to himself. It didn't really phase through to her brain, however, she was still memerized by what was slightly in his pocket.
The other girl, Ynda, threatened her from the ground, but once again, the words fell on deaf ears.
"But I don't wanna black eye. It's--AHH!"
In that moment, she felt something tugging on the edge of her ponytail, making her fall over in response. Zoelin tried pulling upward to counter the girl's pulling, but it only made the pain increase. When it seemed like she could try standing and flip the girl off of her hair, Cyril came between them and Ynda had let go.
The smack, although small, was very loud to her. Rubbing the back of her head, she turned around and saw the bird-boy talking to his friend. Even though he didn't mean to, he had done it just to get Ynda off of her, which Zoelin had guessed made Ynda upset.
She watched the green-girl slowly walk back towards the couch, the glum expression still on her face. Getting up, Zoelin looked towards the ground and sighed. Maybe she should't have pounced on them...at least, not when they were having fun.
Looking back up, she wondered if she should say sorry to the girl. In a wat, Zoelin didn't really mean to jump up on them..it just happened. If she explained why she did what she had done, maybe the Ynda wouldn't be mad at her...or the 'pigeon' as she called the boy. Then again, she didn't really look like she wated to be talked to...at least not right now. -----------
Lunira's eyes widened a little once seeing the three aliens engage into a small fight: Ynda pulling on Zoelin's hair and Cyril smacking Ynda. "Uh..." was all she could comment on the situation as Ynda walked on over.
She looked really sad, even if she wasn't looking upward from her lap. Lunira nodded towards Nebulos before he went over to see if she was okay. She titled her head around him, to get a better look to make sure Ynda was all right.
"You know, we're here for you..okay?" She wasn't sure if Ynda had heard her, but she wanted to say something anyway.

Ynda couldn't help but feel a little touched when she heard Lunira talk to her as well. She was used to Nebulos trying to help her out, as he had become a brother-like person to her, but when others did it, there were still moments when she felt grateful for their mere effort.
She slowly turned her head some in order to look at the both of them, not bothering to erase her sad expression.
"Yeah... okay," she muttered, after which she quickly glanced back at her lap.

Masurao, being Masurao and therefore tending to behave rather dignified whenever he was around other people (or even if he wasn't), had already slowed down to a stop before he had entered the door to the living area. He'd estimated the advantage he'd had on Tala and therefore considered he'd have time enough to come to a stop in front of the door, before actually entering it. This way, his entrance was a little less enthusiastic as Tala's and he walked in mild-manneredly, as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened and even managing to mask his slight out of breathness. Him entering the room practically went by unnoticed, with his bare feet extra muffled on the warm carpet. Even his clothes never seemed to rustle.
Flicking his tail gently, Masurao turned to look over his shoulder as he saw a flash of yellow and green round the corner and bolt into the room. An eyebrow lifted slightly, considering to call out a warning at the high speed, but decided against it when the deed was already done and Tala collided with Dengeki. He cast his eyes to the ceiling momentarily as she spoke to the aquatic alien. If she managed to crack a joke (silly as it might be), the guard was fairly certain the damage wasn't too severe. All the same, he silently appreciated the girl hadn't made him trip or used her telekinetic powers some other way to gain up on him. He was aware of the Telarians' second nature when it came to cheating, so he daresay he was actually a tad proud. Silently, of course. Turning his head back, the composed boy let his green eyes wander across the room. His gaze briefly rested on the trio of little aliens on the couch, and then Cyril and a red creature who hadn't been there previously. If he was in the least surprised of the turn of the events since he'd left, certainly none of it showed on his face. Plus, he was never one to pry.
But this wasn't what Masurao had been searching for. No, one person was still missing from the room. He supposed she was still reclining in her quarters where he'd passed earlier. And he has told he was going to check up on her, so that was exactly what he was going to do. In one, swift movement and without a word, Masurao turned on his heel and headed back out the door, his long tail floating behind him as he so professionally strode. As ever, his paces were efficient and determined, neither too fast or too slow. And it was as thus that he quickly found himself in front of the Princess' door. He twitched his mane softly, trying to discern noises coming from inside. He knew Numbuh Infinity had been in there last time he had been standing on his spot and he wasn't exactly pleased by that idea. But Tala's case had been a little more prior at the moment. Still, Masurao was slightly relieved he could no longer hear two voices from the room. He certainly didn't hope Numbuh Infinity had dragged Niji off somewhere, because he had announced he was coming. Growing suspicious at the idea, the guard quickly raised his gloved fist and knocked on the door. "You Highness?"
- -
"You know, we're here for you..okay?"
As he heard this, Nebulos turned his head to look at his other side and saw Lunira there, looking at Ynda concernedly. At the mere sight of her and the words she'd just spoken, Nebulos could feel his heart war. Despite having a sad alien on his left, he couldn't help but smile gratefully at the other alien on his right, adoring her even more because of her voluntarily helpfulness. He gave her paw another gentle squeeze, inwardly still happy he was still holding it, before he turned back around to face Ynda.
"Yeah, Luni's right." The blue teen said, his voice quiet, but kind. He threw a gentle smile at her. Obviously, the whole incident had something to do with Cyril, but in all the mayhem, Nebulos hadn't been aware of what had been going on. But nevertheless, it wasn't the first time Ynda got upset over Cyril (or over Dengeki for that matter). Not that she'd admit any of it, but Nebulos knew well enough. "We're here for you."

Cyril had, after standing there like a feathery lemon for a while, realised that Ynda seemed really quite hurt over what he'd done, and being the soft hearted boy he was, felt incredibly guilty in seconds. "Yndaaa!" He hopped over to her, him still stood on the floor and looking up at her, but then quickly realised an enthusiastic approach would probably make matters worse. "Ynda I didn't mean to hit you, I just know that you hurt people like all the times you hurt me and I didn't want Zoely to get hurt." He paused for a moment, for once in his life thinking before speaking. "And maybe I am a coward, but I stood up to you, didn't I? When do I ever do that? You're scary!! ... That's a compliment, honest!" Already very worried he was just digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole, he seemed to cower a little, and if he had visible ears no doubt they would be flat against his head in fear by now.

"Yeah....okay." Ynda muttered as she looked back into her lap. Lunira smiled a little, seeing that the girl had heard her. The glance from her, and the small squeeze from Nebulos, made her feel a bit happy inside even though she was concerned for Ynda. Silence seemed to dawn upon the three, until a voice broke it.
"Yndaaa!"
Looking away, Lunira's focus turned towards Cyril, who was hopping over towards them, looking as sad as Ynda did, if not even more so. A small voice in the back of Lunira's mind was nagging her about what Ynda had said earlier, not wanting to be near 'the pigeon'.
He couldn't do any harm, right? He looked very sorry and was about to apologize.
Only, his apologies sounded a little funny, and some of them, despite their best intentions, sounded as though they could be taken the wrong way. Lunira only looked from Cyril to Ynda and back, wondering who was going to speak next.
"Hey....Ynda?"
Her inside question was answered as the taller girl, now proving to be the red streak from before, walked over while rubbing the back of her head, presumely to sooth the pulling on her hair from earlier ------------
Zoelin stood there, still rubbing the back of her head as she was wondering what to do at the moment. She could go over an apologize to the smaller girl, for knocking her over and causing the little fight between her and Cyril. Then again, a small part of her felt the opposite, acting very mad towards the fact that her hair was pulled.
When she noticed Cyril hopping his way over towards Ynda, Zoelin began to ignore the mad side, as she watched the boy make an apology...somewhat.
If the little bird could do it, why couldn't she?
When it looked like he was done, she made her way over, the two tails swishing a little behind her in a fit of nervousness.
"Hey...Ynda?" She coughed a little, unsure of how to start. "Sorry for knocking you over. I didn't mean it...it just...shiny-thing."
Okay, so it wasn't the best apology. In fact, she felt like she might as well shrink down and walk away...if only she had that ability.

When she heard Nebulos repeat Lunira's words, Ynda shut her eyes and formed a small smile on her face. She did feel grateful for the help, but too much of it would only make her feel like a crybaby with everlasting grudges. What could she do about that? Only one thing - get over it.
Still flashing the weak smile, she turned back to her fellow squirts and attempted to speak strongly through the sadness that had filled her voice only a moment ago.
"It's alright, guys, I--"
"Yndaaa!"
Abruptly, she turned to face Cyril instead, eyes wide as he made his attempt to apologize. She didn't know exactly what to do now. A part of her really wanted to forgive him so there would be no tension between them (or at least more than there already was), but another part was still mad and would rather ignore him.
Ynda was distracted when Zoelin approached her as well, and became shocked when she heard a second apology. She suddenly felt like she didn't deserve both of them, seeing as she was the one that had chosen to approach Zoelin in an aggressive manner - even if it was to help Cyril.
Exhaling a sigh in annoyance, she lowered her head and pressed two fingers to her forehead, trying to think on what she should do now. She knew it was very easy to stay angry and neglect both Cyril and Zoelin, but especially with Cyril, she felt the desire to go back to the way they were and forget this matter. Aside from that, it was hard for her to resist that cute face he currently had in the first place.
She eventually looked up and crossed her arms at Cyril, speaking casually. "Fine, you're forgiven."

Niji only just rounded the corner from her room when she heard the voice calling her name. It wasn't hard to identify, his deep raspy voice wasn't easy to miss. She turned around and poked her head out from around the corner, and there he was, her favorite bodyguard was in front of her door, and it appeared that he was having a glare off with it.
"There you are, Masi!" She floated over to him and gave him a small hug and patting his head gently. She knew he did not particularly like hugs, nor did he like it when she patted his head as if he was a fluffy kitten, yet she did it anyway, it was her way of showing affection toward her bodyguard and friend. "Where have you been all of this time? When I realized you didn't pop up like you usually do, I began to get concerned. Is everything alright?" She asked tilting her head slightly, raising an eyebrow.

The small blue boy smiled encouragingly as their green friend turned to face them, making an attempt to bestow her appreciation. However, most of it was lost when a shower of golden feathers rained down upon them and barely a second later Cyril appeared, looking unusually serious. The look on his face surprised Nebulos a bit, mainly because this was an expression the enthusiastic bird rarely had. But he soon figured out why it was, as the golden-winged teen began to apologize.
Turning to Lunira, Nebulos meant to suggest that they perhaps should leave them in private, but such suggestions were never made, when at that instant someone else popped up. There was Zoelin, who -like Cyril- came to apologize. Glancing to the side, the Luminarian boy saw the evident bewilderment on Ynda's face, who surely hadn't expected this turn of events. He couldn't deny that it amused him, certainly as things seemed to turn around for the better. And thus, he couldn't help but utter a chuckle as the green girl at his side mumbled and accepted the apology. She seemed reluctant to give in, but Nebulos knew better.
"I'm sure she's sorry too," Nebulos added, patting his now-shorter friend, while the other hand still held onto Lunira's hand. "It was all just a big misunderstanding anyway, right?" he said, his antennae visibly brightening when he took notice that things were looking up. He was content the atmosphere was feeling better. Fights always seemed to way so heavily upon everyone, so he was glad they got resolved.

Masurao lifted an eyebrow at the door in front of him when he heard no reply. Certainly, he hadn't been gone that long? Or perhaps Numbuh Infinity had done exactly as one of Masurao's ideas suggested, which involved kidnapping the princess and hide her some place he couldn't find her. Well, he'd like to see about that. Before he jumped to conclusions however, the guard lifted another fist to knock on the door a second time, but held against it when he heard his name (well, sort of). Strangely enough, the voice wasn't coming from the room.
He turned around to face the voice and before he knew it, he was in the middle of a hug. He suppressed a roll of his eyes, given that such a gesture would've been extremely impolite. And at any rate, he was almost used to the princess' enthusiastic way of greeting. His mane did twitch lightly when his head was being patted, but he refrained from making a comment and just went along with it, pretending as if she might as well could've shaken his hand.
"Where have you been all of this time? When I realized you didn't pop up like you usually do, I began to get concerned. Is everything alright?"
The guard was, as ever, quiet for a few seconds. He always seemed to do this when answering a question, even when someone inquired if he'd like to have ketchup on his hamburger. It always took him a little while longer than others to answer, as if each response had to be considered, or he was about to unravel a big secret.
"Yes." he informed simply, at the princess' inquiry if he was alright. He was quiet for a little while more, this time considering his conversation with Tala not so long ago. He didn't feel the need to elaborate on it or explain where he'd been, not just for his own mysterious facade, but surely for the green-haired girl, whose trust he didn't want to misuse. "I had been occupied." he concluded vaguely, leaving it at that. "Though I appreciate your concern." he added, putting a fist to his chest in his trademark fashion, which symbolized his sincerity. The tassels of his tail flicked to the side gently, before he continued. "But it is my job to be concerned about you," His head gave a small jerk in the direction of Niji's door. "Although I hope the earlier situation didn't require the need for me to be concerned?"
A questioning eyebrow went aloft, his face looking almost comically serious as he referred to the previous events where he had not had the chance to enter the room.

Although vague, Masurao's reply set Niji's small worries at ease. Though she still felt as if he was hiding something, but decided not to press the issue further, Masurao wasn't the type to talk about his feelings, and getting him to was like going through a maze, it would lead to a dead end or nowhere at all.
"Although I hope the earlier situation didn't require the need for me to be concerned?" Masurao said with the utmost seriousness. Every muscle in Niji's body tensed up at that statement, she had not expected him to say that.
"U-um..." She stammered, thinking back to the moment when Niji invited him to the dance, and he accepted with a kiss to the back of her hand. Yeah, she definitely could not tell Masurao about that. He tended to be very over-protective especially when it came to the subject of boys. "No, nope! No need for concern at all!" She shook her head for emphasis. "I made a mess looking for a dress in my closet, and Numbuh Infinity was kind enough to help me clean it all up. "See?" She pressed the button, opening the door to her room, revealing a neat and tidy bedroom. "All clean. No need to worry, or get suspicious...or anything." She laughed nervously, with the blush on her cheeks deepening with every word. She looked back into Masurao's intense green stare and suddenly felt very small under it. She smiled innocently at him.

"Fine, you're forgiven."
Those three simple words (only two of them even necessary) were all he needed to hear.
"YAAAAAAY!"
And before Ynda (or anyone else) could possibly comprehend what was happening, Cyril tackled her in an enthusiastic hug, squawking something happily. He had, however, refrained from asking if he had hurt her badly, since he figured she wouldn't even want it to be implied that a silly bird-brain could cause her any kind of pain or injury.
(Blah, I'm forgetting about my other aliens again. DX)
(HEY GUYS do you think maybe we should skip ahead to the dance soonish? x3)

(I'm cool with a time skip! ^^ I'll post something! ) -------- After clipping the top section of her hair in a neat bun, Niji unrolled the other half of her long rainbow hair so that it fell down her back and settled into soft waves, she then proceeded to brush her bangs softly, so that some sparkly strands framed her face. Finished with her hair, she then slipped the gold bracelets around her wrists following a golden choker with her Mother's pendant around her neck. She took a step back to admire her appearance humbly, "I think I look nice tonight..." She whispered to herself modestly, twirling lightly in her blue gown, and gold shoes. Although many people considered her to very beautiful, it wasn't something she gave much thought. It was not good to be conceited and too full of themselves. "I bet everyone else will look amazing!" She gushed, obviously excited about the arriving event. ------ I hope that was alright. It's kind of short... ^^;

The feline girl paced back and forth in front of the small mirror in her room, brushing her short, spiky hair for the first time in who-knows-how-long. She let out an exasperated huff and collapsed into a nearby chair. She glanced at her desk, and stared for a second a the teal hat that sat there. "I don't guess it matters," She muttered to herself as she snatched the hat and pulled it over her half-fixed hair. "I'm wearing a dress, after all, what more can you hope for," She looked down at the long blue dress that felt like some strange alien thing that had attached itself to her body.
"I wonder if it's too late to bail..." She wondered out loud, but having to wear the dress seemed to be an ok price to be able to spent the whole night dancing with Finnick... A warm blush and a smile spread across her face for a moment, but an instant later, she was shaking her head as if to chase away the thoughts that ran through her head. It wasn't like that, they had both agreed on that, hadn't they? But, in the back of her mind, she was grateful that she was going with Finnick instead of not at all, and that Finnick wasn't going with another girl. The very thought of her friend spending the night dancing with some other girl sent a shutter though her body. Her tail flicked dismissively, It's just because, she thought, He's like my brother... Right...? Anyone would feel this way, no one want's to see their best friend dancing with someone else, right? But the more she tried to reason the weird feeling of jealousy, the less sense it made. After a minute, she sighed, gave out, and set out to find him.
Less than a minute later, she was in front of Finnick's door. She took a deep breath, knocked, and waited. After what felt like a hundred years, a familiar face appeared at the door. "Hello, Milo, just one second." He shut the door again before she could respond, and she turned away with a huff. It wasn't long before she heard to door open and shut again. She spun around, and, for a split second, was stunned. Her friend stood there looking quite amazing, blushing a bit. His tux seemed to be made of the starry night sky, dotted with thousands was twinkling stars.
"Wow, you look really nice, Milo," His voice snapped her out of the daze, and she blushed at the compliment.
"T-thanks, you look really nice, too," She said, smiling, and a familiar green blush spread across his cheeks as well. She fluttered over to him and placed a paw gently on his shoulder. The lights around her paw brighten, and the brightness rippled out across the fabric, like she'd tossed a stone into water while it was reflecting the night sky. "That's pretty cool,"
"Y-you like it?" He smiled wider now, and his forest green eyes brightened a bit, just like the tux. For a moment there was silence, and then he said, "I guess we should go, right?"
"Yeah," She nodded, and they set off towards the dance.
