XDDD I don't think there'd be a limit...Just as long as you have fun playing all of the family members...
Oh! And I forgot to add, besides the shenannigans that would ensue with all of the parents/siblings coming to visit, maybe there could be like a contest or game or something...
Or a Galactic-Tube-A-Thon!!!! ^^...Renee came up with that idea, not me.

Sorry for the double post, but I thought of something! ^^ --------------------------
Much like the colors of her hair, Niji woke up with a bright smile on her face. She usually woke up with a pleasant attitude but today she was exceptionally excited because of a much talked about event that will be taking place at the large base, family day! Niji gracefully floated out of bed, and levitated toward the door, to complete her morning routine of washing up for the day, and meeting her friends at the cafeteria for breakfast. Niji gave one last look at her bedroom and grimaced slightly, "I guess a little tidying up before dad comes wouldn't hurt." She noted to herself before finally heading out of her room literally walking on air. ----------------
I hope that was alright, if not I could delete or change it.

XD It's okay, Renee. That was a good start! ------------------------------------------------------------
Beep-beep[/i]
"...."
Beep-beep[/i]
"Five more minutes..." A small lump moved beneath some covers as the alarm clock next to the bed kept beeping. Despite the small, yet lazily worded plea, the device didn't heed the lump's request, so it kept up at it's steady tone. After a few more minutes of it beeping, the lump moved from the covers, letting a black-furred hand rise from it to try and hit the alarm.
Beep-beep[/i]
Apparently, the hand missed, so the lump sighed and moved again, now revealing to be Lunira as she blinked a couple of times while stretching. Giving the still-beeping alarm clock a side-ways glance, Lunira rubbed her eyes, trying to register what day it was. It took her a few minutes, but during the clock's fifth beeping, her green eyes opened wide.
"IT'S FAMILY DAY!"
Jumping out of bed, she ran towards the door to get cleaned up and dressed in her usual garb....only to come back into her room seconds later, realizing that she forgot to turn the clock off again.
Good thing that she did, though, the ribbons that were placed on the nightstand next to her clock might've been forgotten in her sudden excitement for the day ahead. -----------------------------------------
Zoelin was already up and awake, which really was a bit unlike her since she'd usually be asleep at this hour--or at least, slowly getting up like the others. But no, she planned ahead to get up today, mainly because she had something important to do first before breakfast. Something that required full dedication and devotion, as well as the utmost care and concentration.
To figure out which shiny things she should take with her in her pockets for today.
Normally, she'd alternate each and every little thing, making sure each object had it's turn in her pockets, but today was special. It was Family Day at the base, and it was an exception to her unspoken rule for the shinies. Now, as she contemplated over whether or not to take the glittering blue ball, or the sparkling piece of string.
"This is unbearable."
Finally, though, the yellow haired girl decided why not take both. It wasn't like she didn't have enough room for the both of them--as soon as she took the random bits of paper out of her pockets first.
When all was said and done, the whiskite smiled a gray-grin and left her room, heading towards the cafeteria for breakfast.

Dancing eyes, as blue as the sky in a cloudless day, met a pair of fiery orange optics and flashed with amusement upon finding the anticipation that stirred in them. Shifting his torso lower, the Telarian male gave his younger sister something of a grin, sliding his feet further apart and watching her do the same, her baggy gray overshirt draped toward the floor.
"Wait." Quickly tugging off his own jacket, he promptly tied it around his waist in a quick knot, unwilling to let it get in the way. Now only sporting a splattered blue shirt on his torso, the boy bent down again.
"Are we ready now?" Her voice was a bit mocking, and the boy simply responded to it with a grin.
Muscles flexing, feet shifting, both of them pressed their palms to the floor as Etoile murmured quietly, "Three. . . two. . . one. . . go!"
Fwoosh! They were off, two streaks of yellow and red and green and blue and all colors inbetween, racing down the hallway like two trains on a collision course. Surroundings became shapes and whips of color as they wheeled around corners and leaped over people in the hallway, barely avoiding bowling them over in their effort to get ahead of the other.
Having chosen a winding course to the cafeteria, it was several minutes before they got there, but when they did it was obvious to those already inside that they had arrived, for they both screeched to a halt and ended up toppling over with each other to avoid hitting anyone in the busy room that smelled of good food for once, no doubt because of Family Day.
Getting to their feet quickly, the winner didn't waste any time rubbing it in the face of the loser.
"I win!" Voice dancing, the female of the pair pressed an arrogant finger to her brother's chest, her frame bouncing a little in her victory dance. "I win, je ta'ne, til r'oquu, you fail, I'm awesome!"
"I won yesterday," came the boy's quick, grinning response as he once again pulled his jacket over his arms, as it had begun to drape off of his waist after the excitement of the sprint. "So, no, not that awesome."
"Hush." The green-haired girl would let nothing deter her victory for that morning. "Loser gets food for the winner, go, go, go." Sitting down in a seat promptly, she gave her brother an expectant look that he returned with a grimace, saluting at her a bit and then disappearing, only to reappear about a minute later with two bowls of breakfast.
"Here." He set the plate in front of her to watch her reaction when she realized that the bits of fruit in her oatmeal were lined up to form a D'thlanyian word that wasn't quiiite polite. But she only laughed, mashing it down with her spoon and shoving a large bite into her mouth while the male spoke again. "Do you know when mom and dad come today?"
"They said they'd be here early."
A laugh. "Mom is so excited."
"Can we keep her on a leash? Please?"
"While that is a good idea, I don't think it's allowed. . ."
"Maybe dad will keep her contained."
The boy snorted. "Yeah, and maybe Divad will suddenly come down here and declare his undying love for you in front of a crowd of people, with a rose in his mouth and sp-"
"Point taken, geez."
Grinning together knowingly, the two dug into their bowls of food and began to eat quickly, waiting for their friends and their parents together and quietly wondering to themselves how this day was going to pan out exactly.

In the coldest corner of the base, where arctic aliens and cold-dwelling critters resided, a familiar but out-of-place bird was navigating the icy corridors as if he had done it a thousand times before, twisting around corners expertly and leaving a light trail of feathers when he flapped his wings.
But the grace of his movements was lost when he smashed straight into a doorway, swinging it open to reveal the blue girl's bedroom. The girl in question, who he was locating in order to wake up, was already up and about, and a mere few minutes away from departing her room for the cafeteria. But the fact that she was awake didn't quell the boy's excitement in the slightest.
"VIBE IT'S FAMILY DAY!" he squawked at the top of his lungs as multicoloured fluff scattered across her room, his feathers running through the entire colour spectrum as he danced about in midair. The Cykrian shot the boy an irritated look, her hand shooting out to grab him by the neck as soon as he came within range.
"I know that," she informed him, throwing him in the direction of the corridor again, "And I don't need reminding. Why don't you go find someone who isn't likely to be up yet?" she suggested as she closed the door again. The bird boy, sat on his head with his back to the wall, contemplated the suggestion for some time, before snapping his wing tips and taking off into the air again, out of the sub-zero zone and to another area of the base.
This time when he burst in through a girl's door, the female wasn't out of bed, in fact wasn't even awake; Nalo was still curled up beneath the bedclothes, thick locks of dark hair spilling out onto her pillow from under the blanket. Her breathing was silent, but revealed by the slow rise and fall of the bump under the covers.
"Wake up wake up wake up!" came the Kygne's voice like some kind of shrill alarm clock, pulling the girl out of her slumber and provoking her to take a swing at him with a limb, her arms tugging the blanket tighter around her frame. "It's FAMILY DAY!"
As he settled on his talons at the end of her bed, all movement stopped in the room for a second, the air heavy with realisation, and Nalo shot up into a sitting position, the blanket hanging from her head like some sort of headdress. Golden eyes were wide, and she shot out from under the blanket like a bullet, the corners of the fabric coming to rest on the soft mattress as she threw herself into her bathroom, not even bothering to shut the door.
Clattering sounds rose from the private room, presumably a side effect of her going about her usual morning routine, and Cyril considered his job well and truly done. Cawing a quick goodbye, he took off out of her room again as she positively leapt into her closet to pick out something to wear.
The boy spiralled down the corridor, singing songs of praise to the morning light, and didn't notice he was heading straight for another alien until he collided with them. Squeaking something of an apology as he turned himself the right way up, the other boy just laughed and straightened his shirt.
"No blood no foul," Lester chirped cheerfully, smiling at the still rather multicoloured bird, who looked incredibly relieved. More often than not, a crash landing on another person ended in a reprimanding. "Where you headed?" the taller boy asked, his tail curling behind him into a large but tight spiral.
"The cafeteria!" Cyril decided, having seen enough people roaming the corridors as he passed to assume that his duty as an alarm clock had be fufilled, and even alarm clocks needed to eat their breakfast.
"Cool, me too," Lester replied, grinning and starting to walk again, motioning for the bird-boy to follow. But the now rapidly yellowing bird instead settled onto his friend's head, legs folded beneath him and wings resting on his knees, a bright and oblivious grin on his face. The Mombie boy rolled his eyes a little with an amused grin, purple irises flashing with interest as he initiated some further small talk, the boy's excited responses keeping him fully entertained as they made their journey.

"I don't believe this, how could they actually serve this type of food for breakfast?"
"It's a special occasion, of course they're gonna serve something."
"Yeah, but did it have to be carrots?" Zoelin made a small face as she stuck a white tounge out when she said the word. Although it wasn't that funny, Lunira couldn't help but give a small giggle. The two of them moved along in the breakfast line, picking up various foods along the way.
As the smaller one of the two contemplated over having either cereal or some fruit, Zoelin spoke again.
"So, who's coming from your planet, Luni?" Lunira, after picking up the bowl of fruit instead, looked up to the girl and gave a very wide bearish-grin.
"My mommy and my little brother!" She nodded to herself, as visions of their faces entered her mind when she spoke of them. "I remembered talking with them a couple of nights ago, and I think she said that they would be getting here sometime after breakfast." Lunira took her food and looked for a way to get off of the counter, trying to make sure that the pieces of fruit wouldn't stray from her bowl as she made her way down.
"Oh," Zoelin began, watching the small girl hop her way onto the floor. "So, there's going to be more little ones like you running about?"
"Hopefully not, although considering my brother, he might." Lunira shrugged, giving a light laugh. "He doesn't speak much, but his actions do most of the speaking for him, y'know?" As the pair made their way towards one of the tables, picking out the one that was occupied by another pair who was eating, Lunira asked, "So who's coming for you, Zo?"
"My Pop."
"Just him?"
"Mmhmm. I don't have any siblings, but I don't mind. It just means I have my dad all to myself." Zoelin took a seat, placing her food on the table as Lunira climbed her way onto the tabletop. "And you know, I don't think he'll be happy about those carrots, either," Zoelin added, before putting a spoonful of cereal into her mouth.
Lunira shook her head, still giggling. "Again, it's a special occasion, but you don't have to eat it." Zoelin gave a light shrug as she continued chewing, so Lunira turned to speak to the next person that was near them: the Ganmade siblings.
"Hi Etoile, hi Tala," she waved.

It was obvious that people were excited. The ordinary chatter that usually erupted from the cafeteria seemed to be a lot louder today. Excited squeals and giggles fled conversations that were being held at the numerous tables, as well as at the lunch line and the continuous stream of people filing inside the room. All conversations were about the same thing. Family day. Amongst the crowd were two figures, whom contrasted brilliantly with one another. Although they both had the same colour, the one was a shade darker than the other, this creature also standing tall while the other was considerably tiny.
The latter had a bounce in his step, while the other trotted, as ever, very smoothly and calculated, green eyes flashing to every corner in the room. And whereas the smaller of the two seemed to be talking animatedly, looking quite enthusiastic, the other kept his mouth solidly closed, even though he nodded every now and then to acknowledge the smaller alien's exclamations. Both figures made their way over to the counter, where various foods in even more various colours were displayed, and began stacking their trays as they moved along the line, the smaller alien using others' heads and shoulders to sit and walk on.
Not to long after, the two characters detached themselves from the lunch line and headed over to a table where already a few aliens had assembled. The smaller alien made a run for it, his antennae glowing much brighter than they usually did in the morning. If his antennae were beaming, it was nothing compared to his face. A few small bits of food were rolling off his tray as he made his way over, but he didn't seem to notice in his excitement.
"Luni, Etoile, Tala, Zoelin!" Nebulos called out, his antennae illuminating even more as he came near them, to an extent one might have to squint his eyes to look at him. Nimbly, the small creature rounded the table and hopped upon a stool next to his black and white hatvortave. He shoved his plate of food onto the table and then poked his head across the edge to smile hugely at his friends opposite them.
"It's family day!" he exclaimed, making his antennae flicker. Of course, everyone was already aware of this event, as it had been announced months before, but the Luminarian seemed to be keen on mentioning this once more. It was, after all, quite an excitable occasion. He looked each of his teammates in the face, sending them huge grins before he took a bowl of green porridge off his tray. "It's finally here!" A spoonful disappeared in his mouth. "I hope they arrive soon, I can't wait for them to meet you guys." A joyful sparkle twinkled in his eye as he said this, looking cheerful, even though his cheeks were puffed with porridge.
At this time, the Luminarian's companion had joined the others. One might not even notice he was there, given his silent way of walking and his tendency to pop out of nowhere and startling people. Masurao settled himself upon a seat as well, his expression as unreadable as ever. "Good morning..." he said monotonously. Though it was hardly noticeable, there was a certain faintness in his voice. Brilliant greens flashed to a wall on the left, where a humongous clock with four hands dominated the scene, displaying a time that was not known to any human. This done, the boy's eyes flickered back to his tray in front of him. Though it was stacked with all different kinds of food, the amount was considerably less than what he ate on an ordinary morning.
The wolfish alien reached a hand out and obtained a piece of striped fruit and bit a chunk off it. He chewed it quietly. An eye twitched and right after that they flashed back at the clock on the wall, where barely a minute had passed. If one didn't know any better, they'd say Masurao looked a little nauseated. Averting his eyes a second time, the guard chose to stare at the opposite wall this time, looking a bit idle, and even somewhat tensed.

The two boys entered the cafeteria, talking animatedly about something that had happened next week, but as soon as the bird-boy located their other friends across the room, he took off at high speed to join them, leaving Lester to shake his head in amusement and pick up some breakfast for both of them. After all, he couldn't let Cyril go hungry just because he was being his usual hyperactive self.
Out on the corridor, a modestly clad female was making her way quickly to the cafeteria, silently and speedily. If her feet were to touch the ground, one could say there was a spring in the Chiz's step, but the way she bounced gracefully through the air was close enough, her usually calm demeanour replaced with a much more excited one. On entering the busy cafeteria, her first target wasn't the slowly shortening food queue, but the red-topped alien seated with many others at a nearby table, and she glided through the air to hug him tightly, nearly knocking his spoon from his hand, a positively happy expression residing on her features as she presented him with a message. "Hi! I love you!" The girl barely gave him time to read the message before she floated off again, returning a few minutes later with her breakfast held high by a many-fingered limb while she wrapped her arms around him again. "I still love you! <3"
As Lester returned to the table with two plates of various foods, one of which was promptly stolen by Cyril, the tall blue girl who had been up earlier than most of the others finally made her appearance, skipping the queue and heading straight over to their table, instead plucking a nourishing object from Masurao's plate and taking a bite out of it. "Good morning," Vibe seemed to drawl the words as she settled into a seat, one leg crossed over the other and her elbow resting on the table, magenta eyes flitting between the faces of the friends already eating.

"Can I have your biscuit?"
The question made the male of the pair glance up at his sister, who was eying his biscuit almost ravenously, having already eaten her own. His eyebrow lifted just slightly; if it had been anyone but her, he would have just given it over, but no. His responses to Tala were usually much different. "Heck no."
"If I win comet, black hole, planet, I get the biscuit!" she challenged, holding out a palm, to which Etoile immediately responded by sticking out his own open palm. It was a juvenile game, playing on the silly rules that black hole sucked in the comet, the planet plugged the black hole, and the comet pelted the planet, rules which defined who won when both players had chosen their sign. Since the Ganmades could hardly go a single day without some kind of competition between each other, it was a good game for quick decisions.
"Planet, black hole, comet, GO!" Both immediately chose different gestures, Etoile making a tight fist and Tala leaving an open circle between her fingers. "HA! Planet plugs the black hole," Etoile told her matter-of-factly, taking a large bite out of his biscuit. Tala immediately look rather disgruntled.
"That's a stupid rule anyway! Planets can't plug up black holes!"
"Oh welllll," Etoile told her, neatly finishing off his biscuit with an almost smug expression. "I don't make the rules, I just follow them."
"Yeah, well, you can take the rules and st- Oh, hey Luni!" Immediately deciding that it was best to not finish that sentence in the presence of her smaller friend, who was in possession of much more sensitive ears, the girl put on a bright smile. Etoile lifted a hand to wave at her, his mouth occupied with food at the moment.
Then more people began to arrive, and Tala tried to keep up with them. "Nebbie!" she cried happily, always pleased to see her little blue friend, and she held out her fist to him so that he could knock it with his own, a little gesture that she had taken delight in teaching the smaller alien.
"Hey man!" Etoile greeted Nebulos as well with a happy grin, holding out a fruit that he had grabbed just for his buhfuhfuh in the event that the small Luminarian boy was hungry.
Upon the arrival of the others, Tala immediately began greeting the rest, as well. "Lester!" she crowed, a tiny bit louder than necessary over the dull murmurings of the cafeteria. "Sup, dude! Hey Cyril, hey Masurao, hey Vibe! Happy Family Day and all that fantastic junk!"
Etoile was about to greet them in the same manner when he was practically attacked by his Chiz girlfriend, who brought the smallest violet flush to his cheeks upon both of her tackles. The second time she hugged him, he wrapped his own arm around her waist, not allowing her to escape as he lightly pecked her lips, laughing a little. "I love you, too!" he responded, the blue surfaces of his eyes amused. "I take it that someone is happy about family day?"
"Get a room," Tala told the couple with a smirk, which dropped as her brother kicked her under the table. "Ow! Jerk! Til n'oa wanau otata rena'u esa'ama'qo!" She didn't bother to translate her sentence, which was probably a good thing because the words were rather rude, and Etoile simply grinned at her before returning his gaze to Nalo with a happy look.

(>///< Im so sorry I've been gone do much DX Im still not really back, I'm at the business center at my hotel and I don't have a whole lot of time, but I'm posting so I don't get lost in this and I'll be home tommorrow!)
Making their way though the crowded cafeteria, a pair of smaller figures made their way towards the table where much of Sector SUN was seated. As they seated themselves at the table, the Sonlaetian boy chirped an excited, "Good morning!" to the growing group, before sitting down next to Zoelin. His companion, however, seemed unusally subdued, her ears lowed and and tail curled in toward her legs. She plunked down at the table beside Finnick without a word and picked half-heartedly at the breakfast.
Her friend glanced at her for a moment, a little worried by her behavor, but decided it best not to say anything for now, in fear of bring on a wave of anger, like many he'd seen her have. He then turned to Zoelin, caught up again the excitment, "So, is any of you're family coming today?" He asked the red furred girl next to him.

Niji flew down the hallway hurriedly toward the cafeteria. "Oh, I'm probably late. I know I shouldn't have spent that extra tw--"
"Good Morning, Princess Niji." A familiar voice called out from down an adjacent hall, causing the girl to stop in midair with a elated smile.
She turned to the source of the voice happily, "Good Morning, Jamal." She floated down to the shiny polished floor as he approached her, she noticed he hand a bouquet of colorful flowers in his hands. She carefully threw her arms around him in a hug, careful not to harm the fragrant plants, "Who are the flowers for?" She questioned with a light giggle as she felt him gently hug her back.
Jamal buried his nose in her rainbow hair, it smelled of candy and a spring rain shower. It took him a moment to register the fact that she had asked him a question "Hm?" He pulled away from her, and looked down at the bundle in his hand. "Oh, these? These are for my mother." He smiled fondly. "She's visiting for family day. So I thought I'd surprise her with flowers of her favorite colors."
Niji smiled a bit wider, "Aw, that's so sweet of you, Jamal." She complimented nicely, she took another look at the flowers, "Let's see...Violet, Yellow, Cerulean, and Periwinkle blue. Your mother has great taste in colors." She nodded her approval. "I'm excited to meet her..." She said softly trying to hide the blush on her face.
The human teenager smiled at her from beneath his shades. "I'm sure she's excited to meet you as well." He took a flower and presented it to her, "I don't think my mom would mind if one flower was missing."
Niji took the flower from his hand as sniffed it. "Thank you." She bowed a bit. "My father and Tahj are coming to visit for family day too." She said as she continued walking toward the cafeteria. When he realized that he wasn't following her, she pivoted around to look back at him, he appeared frozen with fear. Niji tilted her head slightly, tucking the flower behind her ear for the meantime. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked walking back to him, she waved a hand in front of his face. "Heeeeeeelllooooo?"
Jamal snapped out of it, "Y-Your ...Father is coming... here? T-today?"
Niji blinked, "Um...Yes?" She tilted her head slightly confused. "I mean isn't that the point of 'Family Day'?"
Jamal cleared his throat a bit, "U-um, d-does he know about..." He let the sentence hang hoping that he did not need to finish it for Niji to understand where he was getting at.
Niji looked down at the floor and fiddled with the necklace that dangled around her neck, "Oh. U-uh, no...No, not yet..." She shook her head, "B-but don't worry, it's not like he'll be upset if he..."
Jamal gave her a weary look.
Niji ducked her head sheepishly, "O-okay, maybe he'd be a tiny bit...okay he'll be very upset." She shrugged. "B-but it's not like he'll kill you if he by some chance found out. There's too many witnesses here, and--"
Jamal's shades nearly fell off of his nose. "N-Niji!"
Niji giggled, "I'm only kidding, relax." She said pulling him inside the cafeteria. "You worry far too much... Now come on, I'm hungry, and everyone else is waiting."
