That's alright Ellie X3 Glad you can join us anyway :3 - - - - -
Utter delight shone literally and figuratively on the small alien's blue features as the yellow fist was held out to him. Chuckling merrily, Nebulos raised one of his many hands himself and balled it into a tiny fist. "Pound it." the smaller creature said with a grin, bumping his small fist against the Telarian's larger one. Uttering another full-hearted laugh, the Luminarian now turned to face the girl's brother as he addressed him, sending him a wide smile to match Etoile's. Ivory orbs wandered down to the red-tipped hand as it was held out to him, observing the fruit that lay inside it. The everbright light on his antennae flickered softly as he beheld the gift, before his gaze traveled up again to meet that one of the Telarian boy.
"You know me so well," the small boy said with a chuckle. He used two hands to take the fruit from his buhfuhfuh, seeing how he had a little bit more difficulty to hold it in just one. "Thanks, mate!" He sent his friend another beaming grin, before the yellow alien in front of him became occupied and entangled by a pair of silver arms. Nebulos chuckled animatedly, before he put the piece of fruit in front of him, but not without taking a bite of it first.
The stoic boy seemed to awake from whatever thoughts that had sunk in at the sound of his name. Casting a sideways glance, he found out it was the female part of the Telarian siblings as she called out all of their names. Looking past her beaming face, he found the girl's brother wrapped in a hug with his girlfriend. The wolf's mane twitched softly, one cheek puffed with contents of half-chewed fruit. The skin beneath his thick fur tinted a soft pink as he cast another glance at the green-haired girl aside of him. This whole Family Day was a bit distracting for him, but he didn't deem this an occasion to be ill-considerate. Not that the outer eye would notice if he was being publicly considerate, but he believed it did make a difference. All small things did.
And thus, stealthy and hardly perceptible as ever, Masurao curled his tail towards the floor, before it snaked is way towards Tala's leg, where its tassels gently brushed the bare skin between her shorts and boot. It remained there, and then distraction arrived suddenly. There was a blue flash near his food and the guard's green gaze shot over to it immediately. Narrowing his eyes, one hand had already lifted on instinct, ready to lash out and grab whatever sneaked near his food, but the action was withheld when Masurao identified the intruder. Greens traveled over to the girl, whom had settled comfortably upon a seat and was chewing leisurely on the food she had obtained. In another situation, Masurao possibly would've made a minor fuss about food theft, were it not that the person in question was Vibe, who was one of the fewer people he could relate to on the area of food, and didn't mind sharing his food with as thus. So instead, the guard dropped his hand, sending the blue girl a nod in return to her greeting, before ensuing his own meal and stuffing the fruit in his hand into his mouth whole.

Niji floated to the table with her tray in her hands, "Good Morning Nebby, Tala, Masi, Etolie, Nalo, Vibe, Finnick, Milo-Lee and Cyril." She waved at t I'm sorry I'm late for breakfast." She apologized placing her tray down and taking a seat. She smiled when Jamal took a seat right beside her, taking his hand from beneath the table.
Jamal blushed, and wrapped his fingers around hers quietly, "Good morning everyone." He greeted with a nod. "I trust you all are excited for Family Day?" He said offering Niji the flowers to hold, which Niji gladly accepted.
Niji gently placed the flowers down beside her, "I'm very excited, my dad and friend should be arriving after breakfast. " She nodded, checking her watch. "Which should be pretty soon..."

X3333 YAY! Ellie's here, whoo! Lol, yeah you can join us! -------------------
Lunira couldn't help but give a raised eyebrow, while tilting her head to the side as to what Tala was about to say, but she shook her head and grinned, giving the wave back to the green-haired girl. She figured that it wasn't best to ask what the younger Ganmade was going to say, so she left it at that.
She was about to go back to eating her fruit, when more of her friends had arrived. Instead, she decided to keep waving as more of them came into the room, sitting down at the table one by one. " Hi Nebbie!" She gave him a smile along with a hug as he sat next to her. " Hi Cyril, Lester, Vibe, Masurao..." The names went on until she figured that everyone had a proper greeting.
"Someone's excited. Are all of your siblings coming, Neb?" She asked her Luminarian hatvortave, while spooning some oddly-colored pink and blue fruit into her mouth. As she waited for him to respond, she noticed Vibe out of the corner of her eye, looking very...serene this morning. Not that she usually was calm, but there was something odd about her behavior.
"You okay, Vibe?" She asked her.
"'Ey manf. Vat's upp--oops." Zoelin gave a wave to Finnick as he sat next to her, not caring about the recently added cereal pieces that were inside her mouth. Some bits of them flew out, others falling off to the side, but she gave a light shrug to this, picking up the bits before they fell to the table.
"Sorry." She managed to speak after swallowing the food completely. "Hmm? Oh, yeah. My Pop's coming to visit!" Again, a smile grew on her face as she spoke of him, before adding, " he's pretty cool, I think he'll like you guys." After giving a wave to the others that had arrived at the table, she looked over towards Milo-Lee, who seemed rather quiet.
She probably would've asked her what was up, but seeing that Finnick hadn't said anything about it, Zoelin took that as a sign not to say anything either.
"Soooooooooooo.....anyone want to share something funny about their relatives?" She asked, wondering who'd be the first to respond to the open question.

Piercing pink eyes met concerned green ones, and as usual bore an otherwise unreadable expression. Straightening in her seat and swallowed the half-chewed food in her mouth, Vibe's short reply of "I'm fine" was all but convincing, but nothing else about her expression or tone suggested anything was amiss. She had raised her hand in a wave whenever someone had arrived at the table or addressed her by name, but other than that she had remainined quite still and contemplative, which she believed was normal behaviour for her.
Now absentmindedly chewing through the thick stalk of the alien fruit she had devoured, her hand darted over to take another from the wolfish boy's plate. Why she hadn't just retirved her own plate of food in the first place was beyond anyone, but she did turn her head towards the boy to mutter some assurances of replacing the food shortly if he wished.
Cyril had replied excitedly to anyone who had chosen to greet him, and was taking turns sitting on different people's heads depending on who was talking to him. He seemed to be constantly carrying around some food item which he was pecking the edible parts from, but the plate of food which Lester had brought for him remained untouched, sitting on the table collecting dust. Eventually Vibe honed in on this and a lithe arm arced across the table to claim the abandoned food, offering it to Masurao first, fufillment of her assurances earlier.
His tail folded like some towering pile of furry blankets behind him, Lester had ravenously finished his breakfast already, and had been eyeing Cyril's untouched plate before Vibe claimed it as her own. He couldn't understand why he was still hungry, but it was quite possibly because Cyril had been swooping and stealing from his plate when he wasn't looking. He had replied as quietly as Vibe to the greetings, occasionally vocalising himself with a "Hey" or "Yo", usually the latter, but now he just glanced towards the food servers, wondering if he should pick up another plateful or not. Vibe's technique of stealing from one of the fuller plates on the table seemed like a good one.
Having settled into a seat beside her man, Nalo's arms were looped around his waist, one hand on top of the other on the other side of him, as she ate her breakfast with the help of a few extra limbs. Even as she ate she bore the same excited smile she had entered the cafeteria with, and had directed towards anyone who had directly greeted her.

The scarlet tips of long, rough fingers of the Telarian male were gently stroking over his girlfriend's back, tracing light patterns almost absentmindedly as he continued to eat, making slow progress on his plate. Across the table, his sister was being the epitome of ladylike etiquette as usual, using her fingers to tear her food into pieces and bringing them to her mouth quickly during her conversations. He considered mentioning her severe lack of manners to her, but really, anyone sitting at that table was far used to her methods by now. So he let her be, not really talking to anyone in favor of simply finishing his breakfast.
That is, until a voice was heard in a nearby hallway.
Two Telarian heads snapped up simultaneously. It was almost astounding that they had recognized the voice, especially with the mixture of voices that were crowding the cafeteria, but their eyes met knowingly, and a silent conversation passed between them before Etoile suddenly yanked out a pen, tossing it across the table at her.
But she mad no move to catch it, and the pen suddenly halted in midair, surrounded by a scarlet glow. The Telarian boy almost imperceptibly began to move the pen over her napkin, scrawling out a rapid message for her to read.
"When you said early, what exactly did you mean?" His sister shrugged a bit, helplessly, and Etoile let out a silent sigh before the pen continued to move over her napkin. "If she makes it to the table with all of our friends, she'll spaz all over them like there's no tomorrow."
Orange eyes flashed with horror. The image of their overenthusiastic mother meeting all of their friends at once was too terrifying for her to even fully comprehend. Her brother added another word at the bottom, his hands still stroking his girlfriend's back and bringing food to his mouth almost nonchalantly, as though nothing was happening.
"Interception?"
There was a tiny tug on the pen that he could feel through the cords of his telekinetic reaches, and he dropped his control over the pen instantly. But it didn't fall, instead taking on a green glow as it discreetly slipped across the table to write on his own napkin.
"Let's do it. She can meet them after we get her calmed down."
The pen suddenly clattered against the table, Tala having withdrawn her telekinetic grasp of it, and both Telarians abruptly stood, no verbal warnings given to anyone around them as they suddenly began to leave. Only Etoile hesitated before standing, taking a quick second to leave a peck of a kiss on the side of Nalo's head before quickly moving to follow his sister.
Their strides were long, wide, and rapid as they weaved between the tables toward the hallway where the voice had been heard. Blue and orange eyes were dancing, happy; they were inwardly trying to keep from running toward the voices, delighted to see their parents even though they currently had the intent of thwarting their progress to save a bit of their dignity at the public embarrassment that their mother was sure to dish out. On their way, they murmured to each other, amused.
"Ten star chips says that mom runs for you first."
"Heck no. You're her little girl, she's going to totally ignore me for you."
They were both wrong.
The woman rounded the corner faster than they had expected, which meant that they were still in the view of everyone in the cafeteria, but suddenly, they didn't really care. She was exactly as they had remembered, her curled golden-orange tresses falling to frame her face that held excited pale green eyes. Her frame, short, broad, and curved, was eagerly weaving through the crowd, slipping between operatives that were taller than she.
And then a familiar face was behind her, set with deep purple eyes. Tall, lean, their father was faithfully walking behind her, a short crop of blue and teal-tipped hair sitting disheveled on his head as usual. His hands were in his pockets and he looked subdued compared to his wife, the personification of pure enthusiasm.
The mere second that she spotted her two children, she let out a happy sound and began to sprint forward, enveloping them both in a tight hug. She was babbling in D'thlanyian as fast as she could, almost unintelligible at the rate her words were flying.
"Mom-!" The smaller of her children was currently struggling to breath, pressed against both her mother and her older brother. The woman immediately began to pour out apologies, dropping her children again and gazing at them with pale, pale eyes that were brimming with motherly tears. Her husband waited dutifully behind her, as patient and understanding as ever; he knew he would get his turn.
"You both look so grown up!" Tsuki blubbered a bit, before babbling to them again in D'thlanyian about how much she had missed them.
Although his sister tried to keep her feelings to herself, Etoile was adept at reading her emotions with ease, and he could sense that while she loved her mother dearly, there was a certain large male standing nearby that she was dying to greet. So he decided to claim the attentions of his mother, giving Tala the opportunity to slip away.
"Mom." His voice was soft and filled with quiet affection. Enfolding his mother in a large embrace, he listened with amusement as she continued to babble a little, no longer in D'thlanyian at least, about how he wasn't allowed to be taller than her and it just wasn't fair. His lips pulled up in amusement and he simply continued to hug her, responding with nothing more than, "I missed you, too."
Meanwhile, his sister had bellowed out an enthusiastic cry that could be heard across the cafeteria. "DADDY!" The man's violet eyes turned to look at her and promptly lit up, and he shouted her name in a similar manner while she took off in a sprint toward him. He caught her in midair as she leaped at him and swung her around, the two locked in a tight embrace.
"Wait!" The girl jumped out of his arms and gave him an expectant grin, and her father rolled his eyes, just a little, before nodding to her. The two suddenly began to knock fists together in a complex pattern that was no doubt memorized and practiced many times in the past. Their movements became more and more intricate, involving even a bump of their hips together (a movement that younger Tala no doubt included and that their father had been forced to agree to), creating a complicated secret handshake that ended with both of them slamming their fists together with a little "POW!" Dal Ganmade erupted into laughter, scooping his little girl up again and hugging her as she burrowed happily against his chest.
To the onlooker, the interactions between the Ganmade family might have seemed a little odd. But if one was looking close enough, they could see the depths of adoration and love hidden in their eyes as they exchanged conversation and excited questions. Even for the Ganmade siblings, who spent some time affectionately knocking on their parents a little, this moment held nothing but pure joy. Meeting their friends would have to wait just a moment more, it seemed.
--- I know this is kind of early to bring them in, and I'm sorry if you think so, but it's SO in-character for them to show up really early. XD Especially for Tsuki.
Ahaha oh Tsuki you silly. <3
asdlfkjad this is so LONG ahaha ;;

THEY'RE COMING - - - - - - - After sending the others their fair bit of greetings, the small alien turned to the Ursa at his side, a grin still gracing his features, despite the food that was still in his mouth. He nodded vigorously, making the bright antennae on his head bounce along. "Yeah!" he exclaimed, once his mouth had emptied and his stomach had filled. His pale eyes traveled over to the large clock against the wall. "They should be arriving soon! I can't wait!" Beaming even more, the Luminarian looked back at the fuzzy girl at his side. "I can't wait for them to meet you, I'm sure they like you right away." A gentle fondness swept across the teen's face as he beheld his girl, making his eyes twinkle joyfully. He was about to relay that Anaximander had promised to bring a few Luminarian books, but held against it when Lunira's attention shifted towards Vibe, her green eyes looking at her with mild concern as she voiced her worries out loud to the taller girl. The inquiry had not managed to escape the boy sitting across the table's attention. Pools of green wandered over to the alien whom had taken food off his plate previously. One eyebrow went slightly aloft as she wove the question away, before she reached out a hand again to obtain another piece of food off his plate. Masurao did not stop her and didn't even glance down at the tray when she picked the food away. The decline of Lunira's question had not been particularly convincing. It was easy enough to tell, it was an attitude the wolfboy occupied himself plenty of times. In another situation, he might would've pointed this out, and inquire a second time what the matter was, were it not that the humongous room was filled with hundreds of people. Not an appealing place for someone to lay out their problem. The look of doubt was probably evident on his face, as far as anything could be evident on Masurao's face. It was usually all in the eyebrows, and on which altitude they were. "No, thanks." he replied blankly when she held out Cyril's food to him, accompanying this statement with a soft shake of his head. As matter of fact, the Egriadanian had been eating very little himself this morning, one might get worried if they noticed. The teen's attention shifted away from the table and now focussed upon an event occurring near the entrance. The two Ganmade siblings had detached themselves from the group, running excitedly towards something in the crowd. It was a bit hard to make out between all of the people, but soon enough it became evident what was going on. Green eyes went wide at the insight and then they shot over to the clock against the wall. He wasn't entirely sure at which time who was arriving, though he had recalled Numbuh Infinity telling something about docking hours, depending on which solar system relatives were coming from. Not that he shared solar systems with Etoile and Tala, but if people started arriving, it most likely meant other ships should have to start arriving any time soon. The thought send a rather mixed emotion to the guard's face, faint though it was. He looked out in front of him, towards the huge windows, as if he expected a ship to fly by any minute.

Nearly toppling over as her yellow support was removed, Nalo turned to look at the boy just as his lips briefly brushed against her skin, one of her eyes closing a little in surprise. Twisting her neck even further to watch him leave, golden orbs confused and a little hurt, she dropped her gaze back to the table and noticed Tala leaving as well, so she assumed that they had some family business of some sort to do. Returning her attention to her breakfast, and with the cheerful attitude of most people at the table, she couldn't help but remain almost as excited as she had been on waking up that morning.
However one girl was less than excited, and thoroughly confused as to how two of the others had picked up on it. Her brilliant pink irises flitted back and forth between the wolfboy and the smaller beargirl, the sensitive tendrils on her neck having picked up on Masurao's doubt as well as Lunira's. She also hadn't failed to notice Masurao's less than pleased emotions, but had refrained from commenting on them, for much the same reason that he was refraining from asking about hers. Her eyes ceased moving somewhere between the two aliens, before she rose to her feet, wordlessly crossing the cafeteria, the plate which had previously been Cyril's emitting a light clattering as it spun on the table after she caught it with the edge of her hand as she rose, the few crumbs of the meal rolling around on the plate. It could be assumed that she had left to retrieve something from the food pick-up point, but as she was lost in the crowd of other operatives, it was anyone's guess as to where she had gone to and why.

XDDD Oh noes, someone send in the National Guard! -------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm fine." The taller girl had replied to her, before biting into her food as though it was nothing at all. Lunira kept her gaze on the pale teen for a little while, wondering if she should ask again or not. Deciding on the latter, she turned away figuring that whatever was troubling her, she probably didn't want to talk about it right now, but the small girl hoped that Vibe wouldn't keep it bottled up.
She turned her focus back towards the Luminarian beside her, giving back a smile to match his own. She felt a little bad about turning away for a moment when he was talking, but she nodded towards him, apologizing and adding a bit of an excited comment of her own. "I'm sure I'll be glad to meet them as well! I really can't wait for you to meet my mom and my little brother, though. I'm sure they'll love you!" She beamed, giving her little bearish smile.
Only briefly did her eyes cast a glance towards the clock, checking the time before going back into conversation. It was then that she noticed both Etoile and Tala getting up from the table, heading away towards a section of the cafeteria. It wasn't towards the food pick-up point, as they were headed the other way as apposed to Vibe who had gotten up and headed near that direction, so it must've been someone they had to meet.
Who it was, she couldn't really tell, as there were loads of tall figures with their heads blocking her view. Lunira shrugged to herself, deciding that whoever the two telarian siblings were meeting, they would hopefully bring back to the table with them later on.
Since no one seemed to have heard her--though to be fair, the cafeteria was getting to be a bit louder now as more and more operatives were coming in, Zoelin gave another shrug and spooned more cereal into her bowl--only to realize that some bits of the colored flakes had been picked away from the breakfast-ocean, only leaving traces of crumbs and milk.
Puting the spoon down into the bowl, she raised an eyebrow, now curious as to where the cereal flakes had gone. Tilting her head towards the ceiling in thought, she wondered whether or not if she had been eating more of it quickly than she was aware of, though then again, it was hard to tell as the conversations around her were picking up a bit quickly.
"Hmm..." As she contemplated over this, she glanced over towards Lester, who seemed to be looking the same way she was: a bit hungry and a little confused as to why.
Now that seemed a little peculiar, even if he might've done the same thing she did with eating his food without a thought and not noticing it fading away. But then, there was a certain little bird that kept flapping about and around the table, talking, eating, and sitting, leaving a trail of feathers as he went from one head to the other. This didn't go unnoticed by her, so she turned towards the Mombie, speaking in a low tone, "I think someone's mooching off of our breakfast."

Niji was busy rattling of a story when she noticed the Telarian siblings leave the table, she tilted her head slightly in confusion as she wondered where they were headed, but just as soon shrugged it off, as she presumed it was a family related matter. Niji took another glance at her watch, then at the clock on the wall. She tapped her foot against the floor impatiently. The human operative seated beside her took notice of this and glanced at her with concern.
"Don't worry, Princess Niji." He cautiously patted her shoulder, taking a brief glance at her wolfish bodyguard. To his relief he seemed to preoccupied with another matter entirely. He returned his brown lenses back to the weary princess. "I'm sure your father will be arriving short--" Jamal then noticed something peculiar on top of Niji's head.
Niji looked up at her antennas, the small bulbs we're glowing a bright neon blue. A knowing smile began to form on Niji's lips. Usually when the bulb's on an Orgamian's antennas began to glow, it was a sign that a relative was nearby. The girl's different colored lenses glanced to her right toward the large window. She didn't see a ship. Without a second thought, the girl got up and politely excused herself from the table, and flew out of the large cafeteria leaving a trail of colors behind her. "Niji find the shipping docks!" She mentally commanded herself. Although, she knew where the shipping docks were, she used the ever brightening glow of her antennas to guide her to her family. When the glow on her antennas got it's brightest, she skidded to a halt confused. Strange. She was nowhere near the docks yet. But judging by the intensity of the blue glow, they were close. Very close actually. She took a look around the empty corridor. "Hm. That's strange..." She said, scratching her head. "There's no one here." She mused looking up at her antennas annoyed. "Are these malfunction---" Suddenly something big and fuzzy collided into her sending her sprawling onto the floor with an 'oomph'. Momentarily dazed for a moment, she rubbed her head and felt something licking her face. Shaking the wooziness, her vision cleared well enough to see that the thing that collided with her was a very familiar fuzzy friend. His shaggy fur was beige with streaks of vibrant colors down his back, and the tips of his tails and paws, with blue and yellow eyes, a purple snout and two bouncing antennas with large colored bulbs that rapidly changed hues. The royal teenager giggled as she hugged the animals snout. "TWIX!!" She cried happily, "I didn't know you were coming." She giggled a little more when she felt his wet nose nuzzle against her skin, and his 3 bushy tails brush up against her leg. "I've missed you too, Twix." She said softly with a gently pat on his snout. "Where's Papa?" She looked around once more.
"Twix! Have you located her yet?" An authoritative voice boomed from down around the corner.
As the creature stood up on his four long legs, Niji levitated a couple of inches so that she could give her pet one last hug before running around the corner, there she saw a lean and tall man walking toward her, his light rainbow hair in a neat low ponytail, he was dressed in a royal uniform fit for a king accented with a cape, and his scepter attached to the gold belt on his indigo pants. "PAPA!!" She flew into his arms enveloping him in a hug.
Tanjio laughed heartily as he embraced his daughter in a tight hug, swinging her around a bit. "Niji!" He placed a paternal kiss on top of her head. "I've missed you my little 'Unaii'e"
Niji smiled a bit wider, "Io n'ai, ku'za ti shu, Papa." She buried her face in her shirt. He always smelled of rain forest. The colorful Princess then pulled away, blinking curiously, "Papa, where's Tahj?" She inquired, tilting her body a little to her left to see if he was somewhere behind her father, and he was, leaning coolly against the wall. She threw him a smirk. "Well, what's the matter, don't you miss me, Tahj?" She teased, opening her arms in welcome.
The taller older boy ran a finger through his shaggy multicolored hair before rolling his eyes and trudging over to embrace the princess who was more like a little sister to him than anything. "It's a good thing you're worth the 7 hour ride kiddo..." He playfully ruffled Niji's hair. "and I've missed you too, but only a little."
The Orgamian King chuckled. "Is that anyway to greet a Princess Tahj?" He reprimanded light heatedly of course. He had grown used to their way of talking to each other long ago.
Niji laughed a bit before hugging her best friend tighter. Yes, she definitely missed her family. ------
Oh my goodness, the post is so long. '^^

A soft violet hue danced across the small boy's cheeks as Lunira spoke to him, making him hunch his shoulders slightly, and started fiddling idly with the end of a spoon. The light on his antennae shone a bit brighter, which was usually an indication of shyness. "G-gosh, well I..." He chuckled nervously, glancing up at the clock again. "I mean, I... I sure hope so..." A streak of doubt swiveled across his blue face as he rapped his fingers onto the table. "But I'm sure they're both great people." He continued, turning to Lunira this time and grinning hugely at her. Anxious though he was, he also couldn't deny his excitement and curiosity to meet his hatvortave's relatives. As he couldn't wait for his to meet her. It was at this point that the Telarian siblings had risen from their chairs and dashed off a place without further explanation. Confusion swept across the Luminarian's features, his pale eyes glancing to the side when Vibe got up also, only to disappear in a completely different direction, one that suggested she might be headed back to the lunch line.
"Where is everybody going?" Nebulos inquired, one hand rising to scratch his snowy locks. He looked around his shoulder, staring into the open space that stretched out behind the large windows, but did not see a ship there that might have announced the arrival of a family member. He threw another glance at the clock, before his eyes darted back to the large crowd, where a certain tumult was rising. A look of excitement made the boy's eyes glisten this time, accompanied by a large smile. "People must be arriving!" he exclaimed enthusiastically, standing atop his chair to get a closer look, even though -given his size- this made slim to no difference.
And right on cue, Princess Niji had also gotten up from her seat. This, of course, did not fail to escape Masurao's attention. He had been previously occupied with looking after Vibe as she had gotten up and disappeared into the crowd without a word, her demeanor much less enthusiast than that of Etoile and Tala. As usual, an eyebrow had risen to the occasion. Though people had hardly said anything, the wolfboy had a slight suspicion as to what was possibly bothering the taller blue girl, but he made no remarks. Partly because he didn't deem this appropriate, and partly because he could might as well be wrong. It was odd what kind of mixed feelings this Family Day brought to the surface. He himself was, of course, quite thrilled to see his sister, but this occasion also meant the arrival of some other people. And one of those people's daughter had just floated off her seat, her antennae shining brightly blue.
Oh man...
Although Niji, too, had left without a comment aside from an apology, Masurao didn't even need to ask where he was going. He knew what those glowing antennae meant. Whatever colour he had beneath his thick fur drained from his face and it was then he realized he had accidentally squeezed the fruit in his hand to a mushy pulp. He muttered something to himself as he hastily picked up a napkin to clear his hand off the sticky goo. This done, the fuzzy boy quickly got up from his seat. His stern, green gaze shot over to the sole human at the table. Catching Numbuh Infinity's shade eye, the guard shot him a piercing glare, one that was slightly more malevolent than usual. He then excused himself from the table and turned on his heel, dutifully chasing after the princess and -to whom she was no doubt heading for- his employer.
The thought of this made the guard's stomach feel slightly queezy and mildly regret he had eaten something in the first place. Oh yes, what a job well done, Masurao, looking after the princess. Do make sure no boys come near my daughter, Masurao, she is not to court anyone. Don't make the princess pick up a boyfriend here, Masurao. Which, of course, was exactly what the princess had done. One green eye twitched lightly as he continued his pursuit of the colourful girl, whom had already disappeared between the growing crowd of people. He could have sworn he heard one of Tala's excited yells coming from somewhere to his right, but most of the noise was drowned out. It was moments like these where he missed the considerably less-crowded forests of Egriada the most, as he slipped his way between the continuous stream of aliens, of which a lot spontaneously got out of his way, some of them squealing fearfully. He was certain there was time to meet his team members' relatives in a more secluded area soon, but right now his priority was to get to the King of Origami himself, who was the reason of his stay in the GTND Headquarters in the first place. There was only so much he could write in his monthly reports. He had made sure to avoid the subject "Numbuh Infinity" regularly when he wrote to Niji's father, and had of course not mentioned the fact she had a boyfriend at all. Also because he didn't find it very suitable that he had to announce this to the King instead of Niji, but he couldn't deny a certain anxiety he felt whenever he considered the moment when Niji would announce this to her father, and he in turn would ask Masurao how this had happened in the first place, since he was responsible for not to let this happen.
Oh man...
Blue manes twitched softly when he rounded a corner, hearing Niji's ecstatic squeals coming from somewhere in the distance. By the sound of it, it sounded like a happy reunion.
Oh man...

XDDD Poor Masurao! ^^; -----
Niji was just about to relay a story of a recent mission she and Sector SUN had been on, when she heard footsteps approaching. However, the footsteps did not surprise her in the slightest bit as she already knew who had followed her. "Papa, I think Masurao is coming." She informed.
The King nodded, "Excellent, as he's just the person I've been wanting to speak with. It has been a month since his last report after all." He patiently waited for the wolf-like teenager to reach them.
Niji raised her eyebrow slightly, "R-report?" She echoed as she suddenly felt an anxious feeling wash over her, "Wh-what report?"
Tanjio laughed lightly as he patted his daughter's head. "Honestly, Niji, did you think that I would have Masurao watch over you, and not have him report every single detail regarding your stay here to me?"
Niji felt her heart drop to the bottom of her stomach, "E-Every single detail?" She asked trying to hide the intense amount of worry she felt. What has Masurao been telling him?!
Tanjio raised his eyebrow at his daughters sudden tone of voice, "...Yes. Is there any reason why that would be a problem, Niji?" He asked his tone suddenly lacked the mirth it had a moment.
Niji glanced at her father, then to Tahj who seemed to be suspicious of her sudden behavior as well. "Um, n-no!" She shook her head fiercely, "Th-there's no problem here, Papa. My life is an open book after all." She glanced to the side. "Masurao is free to report anything he wants, I'm not stopping him..." Her eyes shifted from side to side nervously. But in the back of her mind she dismissed her worries as foolish, Masurao was her friend, she knew he'd never betray her by telling her father something that she'd rather not have him know.
Her father and best friend each exchanged glances.
King Tanjio cleared his throat, "Hm. As far as appearances go, it seems like he's doing a grand job of keeping you safe." He noticed his daughter's light sigh of relief, "However...There is one matter I'd like to discuss with him."
Niji's eyes widened as she hovered closer to him "Like wha--"
"Niji!" The tall man snapped suddenly, he gave her a stern look. "...Enough questions." He said in a firm and authoritative tone.
The colorful Princess opened her mouth to speak yet again, but after a second thought, wisely closed it. The look her father gave her signified that he meant what he asked of her.
Tahj nudged her elbow, "What's with you?" He said suspiciously, "You know better than to question your father, Niji." He whispered harshly.
Niji ducked her head feeling embarrassed at being reprimanded and nervous all at the same time. She reached forward to pat her large canine like pet on the nose to occupy her until Masurao arrived. She continued to tell herself that she had nothing to be concerned about. Masurao was her friend, and the key to all friendships was trust. She trusted Masurao with her life, and even told him things that she would never tell her dad. Plus, they had a friendship that was one of a kind. Surely Masurao would put their friendship above his duties as a guard. It was just too special to ruin over something or someone such as a King of an entire planet. Right? Niji nodded to herself. '...Right.'

Uh-oh...poor guys. XD --------
Immediately, her eyes lit up as he spoke, saying that there were people arriving. "Really?" She looked from him to the crowd, and back again, watching him climb onto his chair and looking around. Lunira craned her neck a bit, watching him act as lookout for any more relatives coming. "Do you see anyone?" She asked, wondering if he might have a bit of a better luck of seeing more people than she did previously.
Mimicking Nebulos's actions, Lunira turned her head towards the crowd as well, hoping to see if she might pinpoint some figures out as well. Though excited as she may have seemed, she was really anxious on the inside. Sure, she wanted to meet his family as much as she wanted him to meet hers, but he only had two people he needed to worry about while she had about five, maybe even more.
Without being conscious of it, a whisper escaped from her lips. "I hope they like me...." Her smile had faltered somewhat, but it quickly grew again, as she tried to reassure herself. Nebulos said that they would like her, then she shouldn't have any reason not to question it. As she got up from her chair, now ready to stand on it and try to look through the vast sea of people, was then that she heard something within distance of them.
"...Mom?"
She had never gotten to stand in her seat, as she was now doing quite the opposite. Lunira turned to Nebulos, her eyes brightening almost as much as his antenna were. Excitement began filling up inside her as she squealed something almost incomprehendable.
"They'rehere! They'rehere! They'rehere! They'rehere!" She bounced a little in place, no doubt that she was getting eager with each second. Then, as quickly as the words had came out, she grabbed one of her hatvortave's hands, squeezed it tightly as a sign for him to follow, and then she climbed her way down from her seat.
Lunira dodged a feet legs as she was trying to follow the voices, which were getting louder and a bit more clearer as she went along. Although she wanted to make sure Nebulos was really following her, there was a small yelp that caught her attention first.
"Aaaaaah!"
To her, the voice came right at her clear as a bell, since it was one that she really couldn't forget, nor was it one that she recalled making the same noise when she first came to the base. Lunira's smile grew on her face as she expected a face to appear in an instant, but there wasn't. This didn't stop her from running, of course, but when she caught the sight of two round, dark yellow, furry ears, Lunira quickened her pace even more....
"OOF!"
Only to be pummeled down to the ground by a shorted force, running straight into her, out of her line of vision.
On her back, Lunira slowly got up, rubbing the back of her head as she groaned. "Ooh...." Both of her eyes were closed, as the sudden collision had literally taken most of the wind out of her, but then as she opened one eye, the lost air quickly went back in as she gasped.
"Moxi?"
"Luni!" Hugging her tightly around the middle, was a beaming reddish brown face, save for the yellow circle that surrounded his right eye. He looked a bit like herself, though not quite as panda-like. With yellow messy hair on his head and reddish brown fur all over, it was clear that he was her brother. Lunira smiled at him again, now trying to pick him, and herself up from the floor, before giving him another hug.
"Wow, you've gotten so tall, Moxi!" She giggled, ruffling his hair. Moxinosh, or 'Moxi' as he was usually called, only gave a small shrug as he stood on his tippy-toes, trying to at least appear even more taller than she was. Lunira giggled at his attempt, and placed a hand on his head, making him stand flat on his feet.
"You're almost reaching my chin, Moxi. Don't make it worse." He only responded by giving another hug again, only not wanting to let go this time. Lunira didn't push him away, though, as she asked the 10-year-old something else.
"Was that you screaming earlier?"
"...No." Moxi looked away, narrowing his blue and green eyes in embarrassement. Lunira rolled her own eyes a bit, sighing.
"It's okay. I did the same thing when I first came here...So where's mom?"
"Er..."
"You didn't leave her, did you?" Moxi looked up at her, still not letting go of his sister, and gave a sheepish smile.
"It's not my fault. Everything is too big here, it's easy to get lost!" Just as Lunira was about to ask him where he had last saw their mother, a voice interuppted her instead.
"I see you found your sister." Both Ursas looked forward, now seeing an older bearish-woman, smiling fondly at the two. Like Moxi, it was also easy to tell Halora's relation with Lunira, as it was from her that she gained the dominant white fur. However, instead of black hair, she had dark blond hair like Moxi.
"Maim!" Lunira yelled in Ursaminorian, now being freed from her brother's arms as she ran towards the taller woman. Funny as it was, she mimicked her brother's actions almost exactly as she ran right into Halora, squeezing her tightly. However, Halora had braced herself for the hug, not being knocked over completely like the teen girl had before. The woman spun her daughter a bit, not letting go as the two began saying a few things in Ursa.
Nuzzling the girl's nose with her own, her mother grinned. "Hi, sweetie! It's been awhile, hasn't it." Lunira's green eyes looked into Halora's blue ones as she nodded.
"Uh-huh."
"And your hair's gotten longer."
"Yep!"
"I see you haven't let go of those ribbons." Lunira shook her head, before giving her mother another hug.
"You haven't let go of yours, either." She pointed out, as the older Ursa's long hair was tied back into a ponytail with a blue ribbon.
"Fair enough." As the two females hugged, Moxi came over once more and clung onto Lunira's middle again, feeling as though that was his special place where he belonged. Although they weren't exactly as tall as the other families were on the base, if the way they loved--and missed, each other was measured in height, then their's would surely be very large. --------- Woooooooooooooow....this is long.
XDDD Clingy Moxi is clingy.

In the few minutes that followed, the interactions between the Ganmade family had not ceased in their unnatural enthusiasm, all of them excitedly reuniting and looking over each other once more. The children had switched parents and the eldest Ganmade child was exchanging stories with his father while they laughed, and his sister was trying to keep her mother from smothering her with her unusually tight hugs while inquiring about her friends at home. It wasn't long before their parents were distracted, however, looking around the large base with curious eyes.
"We have another surprise for you," Dal told his daughter with a smile, and Tala lit up as he turned around and let out a whistle. A large blue shape suddenly came swooping down the hall, settling on Tala's shoulder like it belonged there and didn't have any intentions of leaving now that it was there.
"Mortimer!" The girl looked pleased as she looked upward, for the bird-creature was almost as tall as she was, although light enough to perch on her shoulder where it hunched over and craned downward to chirp happily at her. The long, blue feathers hung elegantly and shimmered even in the indoor light, and the piercing silver eyes of the bird closed in happiness as she stroked its beak, before leaning over to nibble lightly at Etoile's curls, who laughed and greeted the bird happily, raising a hand to let the bird sniff at his palm. "Hey buddy," Tala crooned in a sweet voice that was reserved for Mortimer alone. "I missed you, too, buddy, yes I did, no, cut that out, that's my hair!"
Laughing as Mortimer began to nibble at Tala's hair as well, Tsuki clasped her hands together and looked at her children imploringly. "May we meet your friends now? We've heard so much about them!"
The two Ganmade children exchanged glances once more, and apparently both concluded that their mother had calmed down enough, for they both nodded at the same time. Tala, deciding that walking was for lame people, clambered up onto her father's back and hooked her arms around his neck with an excited, "Come on, Mortimer!" while Dal let it happen, his aura patient and easygoing as usual. Etoile walked between his mother and his father as he led them over to their previous table, unusually anxious as he considered the idea of his parents meeting everyone that was still sitting there.
Tala let Etoile do the introducing, still loftily perched on her father's back while Mortimer sat on her shoulder, creating a large tower of cool-toned colors that loomed over the table, making Etoile look short and Tsuki even smaller.
The Telarian boy knew that other families were arriving soon, so he kept his introductions short, pointing out people lazily. "This is Lester, and Zoelin, and Nebulos, and Nalo, and-"
His mother turned to him upon hearing the last name and began to speak in fluent D'thlanyian, her accent and pronunciations making it much prettier and almost more graceful than whenever Etoile and Tala spoke it, direction her comments to her son. "Oun nai lo pai til ne'au cueno'a ao?" Is she the one you wrote of?
Flushing a little, the boy responded gently, although his eyes were nothing but entirely amused. "Kei. Un nai ethana D'thlanii, moa." Yes. And she understands D'thlanyian, mom.
The woman immediately flushed a light violet, suddenly turning and giving Nalo a quick bow in a hasty gesture of apology. "I-I apologize for my supposition, I was not aware that my son had taught you our tongue."
"I didn't." Now Etoile looked even more amused. "Nalo absorbs languages." His voice had taken on a very, very slight tone of pride, as though he was happy to be sharing his thr'rin's talents with his parents. "She can write it just as well as any native."
Both of his parents looked impressed, although his mother had not recovered from her earlier embarrassment, and so Etoile decided to save her the trouble, glancing back at those who were left at the table and beaming. "Guys, this is Dal and Tsuki Ganmade, our father and mother." The bird on Tala's shoulder let out an indignant squawk, causing the boy to roll his eyes a little. "And Mortimer, our pet Hi'ota."
"There are lots more people in our sector!" Tala said happily, leaning over her father's shoulder to peer at him and Tsuki easier. "But these are a few of them!"
Both of the elder Ganmades immediately bowed, almost simultaneously, until Mortimer let out another indignant noise and Dal was forced to stand vertical once more so as not to upset the feathered creature on his daughter's shoulder. "We are pleased to meet you." It was the first time Dal had spoken to the group, and his voice came out much deeper than some might have assumed it would, his tone rich and almost musical as he addressed them. "Our children have told us many good things about all of you."
Shifting to the side a little, Etoile's tail had snaked under the table and had curled loosely around Nalo's leg while his expression remained nonchalant. He would have rather liked to show her more affection, but he was contemplating the idea that she would rather escape than stay around to meet his parents, or that her own parents would show up in a second anyway, and he had decided to give her the opening to leave if she wanted to. If she didn't intend on leaving, he would do something more open later, but for now the quiet affection worked, and he waited, a little anxiously, to see how those at the table reacted to the two Telarians and one Hi'ota that had been presented to them.

As he rounded a second corner, it was much easier this time to make out where the Royal Origamian family was standing. Their bright, vibrant colours dominated the scene profoundly, almost clashing with the blank, functional interior of Base. Green eyes darted over to a large creature upon who's back Niji's hand was resting. He remembered the princess showing pictures of her pet, but seeing it like this, in life, it looked most bizarre. Squeezing his lips together, Masurao's gaze now wandered over to the King himself, who was speaking to his daughter. There was a sinking feeling in his stomach as the wolf beheld the tall man from afar. He half-and-half wished something would happen. Like a sudden explosion or adult invasion, something that was considerably distracting and would postpone Masurao's meeting with the royalty at least a little while more. It wasn't like Masurao to walk away from something, but he didn't mind making an exception this one time. Especially since there was a possibility of discharge when the King would find out he hadn't been relaying everything in his reports. But, as always, Masurao persevered. And so he walked on. He didn't run away. He inhaled, squaring his shoulders and twitched his mane to make them fall in place, and straightened out his shirt to make himself look more presentable. Truth be told, he seemed to be wearing attire that seemed far more dignified from what he usually wore. The boy had done this special little effort because he deemed it important and appropriate to look well-groomed in front of his employer. Especially since he had rarely met him in person. Masurao cleared his throat and began walking towards the colourful foursome, his paces light and determined. Occasionally, his eyes would dart to the sides. More people were arriving now. He saw alien species that looked familiar, but with faces that weren't. Foreigners everywhere he looked, but he did not manage to discover any streak of minty greenness that looked familiar. He regretted this, but at the same time was glad that his sister wasn't around yet when he had to speak to Niji's father. Oh, no doubt that she would courtesy, ever so politely -the thought made Masurao smile inside- but he thought circumstances which were a little less stressful than this might be more enjoyable when they met again. Clearing his throat politely, the Egriadanian -once arrived near the Royal family- lifted a fist and placed it on his chest in his trademark fashion and he swept down into a graceful bow, his tail curling out behind him. "Good morning, sir." he voiced clearly in his hoarse voice. Straightening up again, Masurao made sure to dip his head in a respectful, deep nod. "Welcome to Base Command. I hope your long travel was comfortable." - - The much smaller boy, meanwhile, shook his head at Lunira's inquiry. "No, people are blocking the view, I can't see anyone." His small tail wagged behind him, indicating his growing excitement, which was only confirmed by the huge smile on his face. He heard Lunira say something, but as her voice merely came out whisper, it was hard to make out over the growing noise of the crowd. "What was that, Luni?" he asked, his eternal smile turning into one of fondness when he turned to look at her. Her focus, however, was not upon him. She seemed to be looking at something in the crowd. "Lunira?" Nebulos inquired a second time, clambering back into a sitting position on his seat. This time, there was a reaction and Lunira turned to face him, looking positively delighted. "They'rehere! They'rehere! They'rehere! They'rehere!" The small boy was almost blown off his socks as she exclaimed this in all of her excitement, her demeanor considerably far more thrilled than her usual tranquil and gentle attitude. Nebulos' antennae flickered a bit in his surprise as she called this out, but soon enough, it dawned on him. He send her a huge grin to match her own, nodding fervently as she took one of his hands and squeezed it. As she climbed off her seat and dashed off, Nebulos intended to do the same, but was held against it when a few people arrived on the scene suddenly. As the blue teen turned to look, he was momentarily startled, believing Tala and Etoile had suddenly multiplied, which gave him a sudden feeling of déjà-vu as he remembered thinking the same thing upon his first encounter with Tala, when she had chased after her brother in a space pod. His temporary confusion was soon to vanish, realization sinking in straight away. Etoile and Tala's parents. He beamed hugely at them as Etoile pointed him out, his antennae flashing a few times in his Luminarian way of greeting. His pale eyes wandered over a large creature sitting atop Tala's shoulder, which undoubtedly Mortimer. And it was, as Etoile confirmed this. "Nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Ganmade. And Mortimer" He smiled widely at the relatives, trying to make his small voice carry across the noise. Excitement started to build up even more, which made the small boy start to bounce in his seat. He glanced to the side, where Lunira had vanished and then looked back at the four Telarians and one Hi'ota in front of him. He was quite eager to meet his buhfuhfuh's parents, but somewhere in the crowd, his girlfriend's mother and little brother were also somewhere. It was quite unfortunate he was unable to split himself into several Nebulosses. "I'm looking forward to get to know you, but you'll have to excuse me for just a minute." He called out, his voice shaking with contained enthusiasm. Still smiling broadly, the small alien climbed off his seat and bolted into the crowd, nimbly dodging people's feet, paws and flippers. He wasn't very sure where to go and being this small wasn't much of an advantage when you had to look for someone. However, little did it matter when the Luminarian boy suddenly disappeared from everyone's sight. A sea of approximately twenty arms had engulfed Nebulos completely. The sole indication of his presence were two small antennae that poked out from a crowd of five people, of which each shone just as bright as the boy in the middle, which made the large group of small aliens stand out like a lighthouse in the dark. "Nebulos!" "Yuh lint hi!" "Fehreh-yunn!" Exhilarated laughs and delighted squeals and yells, some higher and some lower in voice, emitted from the group of small aliens, a group in which each separate Luminarian was particularly hard to make out, given the massive amount of arms that seemed to belong to everyone, each of them trying their hardest to touch some part of their brother in the middle. Said brother resurfaced, his hair a complete mess and his expression stuck on something that looked like grand surprise mixed with utter glee. He shook soundlessly, his wide open mouth suggesting that he was laughing so loud to an extent he was unable to produce noise. All of the arms were somehow entangled in his small frame, which wasn't actually that small when compared to his brothers and sisters. When he managed to open his eyes, which had been glued shut due his mirth, he looked around. No matter where he looked, there was a blue face that looked back at him, each face a mirror to his own, which displayed naught but genuine happiness at seeing the other. "Guys!" he called excitedly, his voice an octave higher than usual. "How did you-- Where were-- How are you? When did you get here??" He panted heavily, wanting to ask them as many questions at the same time as he could, swiveling his body around from one sibling to the other, wanting to see as much of each of them as he possibly could. "Fifteen minutes ago! They said you were in the cafeteria, so we asked for directions and started looking for you!" the smallest of Luminarians said, followed suit by throwing all four arms around her youngest twin brother for the manyth time in the past minute. - - - - - LOOOOOONNNGGGG MAN ;; Sorry, I wanted to bring in some relatives toooooo CX Hoohoo YAY LUMINARIAN INVASION.

"Greetings, Sir Madam and Hi'ota," was Lester's response, a paw lifting in a wave at the Telarian parents. He would have probably said a little more if a certain figure bobbing above the crowd of people across the cafeteria hadn't distracted him completely. A light scowl fell across his face at first, but as he rose from the table, his tail curving beneath him against the floor, the scowl dropped in favour of a happier expression, and he abandoned the table to greet his father, ignoring his brother who was on the tip of his tail, and given the length of the tail, raising him a lot higher into the air than was normal.
"There you are, dumb," came the harsh voice of the older brother, who had dropped so his feet touched the floor, a look of disapproval on his furry features as Lester bounced into his father's arms for a brief hug. "How do you find anything in this stupid base? It's huge."
"I wouldn't expect you to be able to find your way around," Lester commented as he pulled back, and the remark was met with a flicker of a sigh in his father's eyes, but he said nothing else about the matter. Not that he would have been given the opportunity to speak, as Lester's voice rose again in a question: "Where's Mom?"
"I'm sorry, Les, she couldn't make it." The younger boy's ears visibly drooped at this news. "Something completely unexpected came up, and she just had to attend to it, she sends her love and apologies." Although no number of apologies could soothe the boy, the forced smile was enough to reassure his father, who was choosing to ignore the offensive comments being made by his eldest son behind him in their native tongue. Lester knew that his mother was busy away from home - he rarely saw her even when he still lived on their planet - but she had guaranteed she would be able to attend, and he couldn't help but feel greatly disappointed.
Although Nalo had felt Etoile's tail loop around her ankle, the appendage was shrugged off as she rose from the table to properly greet her boyfriend's parents, ducking in a brief curtsey before lifting her notebook from the table with a silvery tendril. "Glad to finally meet you," she wrote in her best cursive, a polite smile settling on her features. The lightest hint of a white flush was left in her cheeks from the modest blush that had risen at some point during the boy's conversation with his parents, now no more than a light scatter of sugar in her cheeks.
