"Oh...Hello, there."
Both families turned at the sound of the voice. Niji smiled at the much needed interruption, she waved at her shiny-loving friend and turned to her her royal father. "Papa, this is Zoelin, she's in my sector and a very good friend." She smiled at the blond girl, and greeted her with a small hug. She looked up at the man she assumed was Zoelin's father. "Hello, it's nice to meet you sir. I'm Princess Niji." She greeted with a small curtsy.
Tanjio nodded his head with a smile at the two other aliens joining the group. "It's very nice to meet you both. I am King Tanjio."
(Ooh, maybe we can have everyone do an activity? Maybe a picnic outside or something like that? )

Cat-like eyes were not happy.
"Whatever," Mercedes finally dismissed, her voice flippant. It was probably an attempt to salvage her dignity, and Etoile let her do so. He had won the war, so he didn't mind if she claimed a small battle for her own. Her boyfriend was looking back and forth between the two, obviously still confused, but not bothering to ask what had happened.
"See you in the training ring tomorrow?" he finally asked, and Etoile shifted blue eyes to look at him instead, nodding.
"Yeah, man. You have to make up for that sad defeat." Grinning, the two knocked fists lightly, a gesture that turned Mercedes' face almost scornful. Having a current boyfriend on good terms with an ex was not an experience she enjoyed.
"I'll make you eat those words, Ganmade," Divad snorted, and Etoile just laughed, turning to move away.
But upon returning to his parents, he found then grinning at each other like a pair of conspiring thieves. "Uhh, what are you doing?"
"Nothing," Dal responded in his serene way. He was so calm and collected that Etoile would have believed him, if not for his excitable mother who took this chance to blurt it out.
"We have a surprise for you and Tala!"
"What?" Perking up a little, Etoile grinned at them. "Really? Where?"
Tsuki turned around and waved at a corner, and Etoile craned over the crowed to get a good look at whatever she was waving at. He couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, nothing at all. "What are you guys talking abo-. . ."
Purple hair.
Blue tips.
Dark blue eyes.
"AAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
The girl that had just broken free of the crowd looked startled by the scream, but the second her eyes fell on the Telarian boy, her mouth fell open and her response was exactly the same. "AHHHHHHHHH!"
"IT'S YOU!"
"HOLY J'IN, IT'S YOU!"
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
"INVESTIGATING! YOU'RE SO TALL!"
"YOU. . . DIDN'T GROW AT ALL!"
The girl barreled into him and the two almost fell over as they hugged tightly, still shouting at each other in their excitement. The girl yanked back and hit his arm promptly, her eyes dancing. "DID TOO! You shut up!"
"I can't believe you're here! It's been so long!"
Kaeni M'thney. Long-time childhood friend of Etoile and Tala, standing at a height below Tala's and carrying a smile like liquid sunshine.
"I KNOW! I almost didn't recognize you! You're not a toothpick anymore, dude!"
"TALA HAS TO SEE YOU!" The boy's head jerked up, looking around for his sister. "You have to see her! You have to see EVERYBODY! There are so many great people here that you have to meet!"
"Please!"
If their shouting hadn't attracted an entire crowd, it was a miracle, but neither of them bothered to care, really. Tsuki and Dal just smiled from the background as they watched the excited reunion, one that was loud enough for almost everyone in the entire hall.

Niji smiled at Zoelin. "Zo, is a good friend of mine, Papa." She placed a hand on the girl's shoulder. "She's been helping me with my baking and--" She stopped short as an idea struck her like lightning. "Which reminds me! I'll be right back." She cried excitedly and flew off in the direction of the buffet, just as Tahj arrived to have a second helping of food. The older colorful boy looked at her when she arrived at his side.
Tahj reached over to pick up a polka dotted fruit. "Hey Niji. They have an awesome selection of food here." He offered her the polka dotted fruit. "Here taste this one, it's great." Niji declined the offer, while scanning the table.
"Not right now Tahj, I'm looking for my..." She spotted the multicolored bowl containing muffins and cookies, she smiled. "Aha! There they are!" She grabbed the bowl and her friend's arm and dragged her baffled friend back toward the group. "Would you like to try my muffins and cookies? I've baked them myself."
Tahj and Tanjio looked at the bowl of baked goods and then back at the colorful girl with apprehensive expressions.
"O-oh..." Tanjio raised an eyebrow at the bowl. "You've been baking have you Niji?" He asked, while imagining the chaos that must have went on in that kitchen and hoping no one had been hurt in the process.
Niji nodded at her father's question and shook the bowl toward the guests including Infinity's family as well as Zoelin's. "Please, try some." She smiled at them hopefully.
"Wow, Niji, uh, I-I'd love one, but..." Tahj searched for an excuse. He really did not need to have a stomach ache today. "I'm so stuffed, I-I couldn't possibly eat another bite." He rubbed his stomach for emphasis.
Niji frowned, "What do you mean you're stuffed?" She questioned. "You're were just about to get more food just a few minutes ago."
Infinity's eyes widened as he sensed an argument approaching. "I'd be more than happy to try a muffin, Princess." He smiled at her and took a muffin from the bowl. Niji blushed lightly and smiled back.
This interaction did not escape the King's notice. "Hmmm..."
Infinity bit into the muffin, and paused to reflect the taste. "...It tastes delicious Princess Niji." He took two more pastries and offered it to his parents who gladly took it.
"My, These are delicious. you have a talented daughter, King Tanjio." His mother complimented after swallowing a bit of muffin. "I can see why our son has taken such a liking to her."
Infinity blushed. "M-mom, please..." He gave her a helpless and embarrassed look.
Intrigued, both Tanjio and Tahj took a muffin and nibbled on it.
Tahj chewed and swallowed. "It's tastes bitter..." He responded after awhile, it wasn't the most delicious or sweetest thing he had ever tasted.
Niji looked down at the bowl a bit disappointed. "I was hoping this batch would be a lot sweeter."
Tanjio looked at his daughter, with a small hint of guilt. "But that does not make them any less pleasant to eat." He smiled at her. "Thank you, my dear for sharing your baking with us all."
Niji beamed and turned to Zoelin and her father, "Would you care for some too?" She offered, happily. "Don't take too much now." She joked. "I have to save some for the rest of the families too." She giggled a bit as she looked toward her friend's families. "I have to meet them, excuse me please." She said running off toward Nebulos' and Lunira's families.
Tanjio and Tahj exchanged glances and let out a small sigh. As long as they kept their Princess happy. However Tanjio made a mental note to tell Masurao to keep a careful yet vigilant distance when Niji was in a kitchen. ----------------

I SUPPORT LONG POSTS.
------
After the blond girl had given her friend a hug, Zoelin turned to Tanjio and gave a simple wave. "Heya." But when she noticed Niji giving her father a small curtsy, the younger Janors felt a bit embarrassed, so she went to her father's side and became a bit quiet.
Felis, however upon learning of his daughter's friend's royal heritage, had bowed in respect towards the king. "Hello, King Tanjio, I'm Felis Janors." Placing his hands casually into his pockets, he looked towards the younger ones as they started chatting. A smile came to his furry features, until he noticed Zoelin's smile turn into a thin line.
"Zoelin?"
Zoelin looked at her father for a brief moment as Niji went to go get her cupcakes. Although she didn't want to say anything bad about them, the truth had to be known. In a quick and very hushed whisper, she only replied hoping he'd get the message.
"Don'tsayanythingabouthecakesshetriedreallyreallyhardbuthey'rekindabadbutdon'tsanything." The teen looked at her father's expression through her fringe, wondering if he had gotten it. His face went askew with confusion, as one would've if they heard the same exact sentence...or sentences, that they were given. But, after a moment he nodded in understanding. Likely enough, his daughter had done something like this before, so the reserved man was very used to it.
When the colorful girl came back, Felis watched the other parents and human boy be the first to try them out. Though by the look on the two Orgamians's faces, Felis contemplated whether or not if he should follow his daughter's advice, if it was true. Then, when Niji bounded over towards them, Felis looked at Zoelin once again before taking a cupcake. The girl's face was somewhat reassuring as well as Niji's. She did seem to work hard on them.
However, that thought flew out of his mind as he tasted it. It may have seemed a bit bitter, like the Orgamian lad had said, though Felis had tasted some...Salt?
I hope the poor girl knows the difference between salt and sugar.
After a couple of bites, the older whiskite nodded towards Niji, as a sign that he thought it was very nice.

FWOOAAH I'M WRITING SOMETHING
And baww Vibe D:
-------
"It's very nice to meet you too, Lunira." the eldest of brothers, Anaximander, told her. He added a kind smile to this statement and immediately his siblings began to voice their agreements and flashed her wide smiles, or said something affirmative in their native language. Nebulos's affection for his family seemed to ooze from his face as he beheld how they welcomed his girlfriend so warmly. He had not expected otherwise. He turned to face Lunira and sent her a smile just as huge. He squeezed her hand gently, hoping she would be able to find some reassurance through the friendly gestures. He knew how intimidating this must appear to her, especially since his family consisted out of almost three times as much members as hers.
Locking gazes with Lunira's mother, Ma'hanne returned the friendly gesture and added a warm, kind smile, her white curls bouncing off her shoulders as she nodded. "What are they standing all the way overthere for?" Vah'kuh remarked animatedly, apparently oblivious to Moxinosh's anxiety as he clutched to his mother's leg. A strong arm went aloft and he waved happily at them. "I'd like to meet them!" Incidentally, all of the Luminarian's attention fell back upon the duo in the distance, as it couldn't be helped. Nebulos flushed a bit, throwing nervous glances over his shoulder at Lunira's family. The last thing he wanted was for them to feel uncomfortable. After all, he hadn't even introduced himself properly. He didn't want to scare them off.
"Nebulos," his mother remarked in her song-like voice, regarding her son with glinting eyes. "Why don't you head on over to Lunira's mother and brother and introduce yourself? It might be less intimidating if there is only one Luminarian to approach them first." Ma'hanne observed her son with motherly love, something that hinted amusement dancing on her face. Nebulos could feel a soft blush rising to his cheeks as he looked at his mother's face, somewhat suspecting that she had immediately found out that Lunira was not 'just a friend.' "Yes, go on over." Elishe added, nodding encouragingly. Thales and Novaes grinned at him, apparently entertained at their brother's nervousness.
"I ... Uhh, yeah... Yeah, sure..." Nebulos uttered, the blush on his cheeks intensifying a little. He threw another apprehensive glance across his shoulder, before he turned to face Lunira, still holding firmly onto her hand. "Well, I mean if ... if that's okay with you... Or them." he added, looking over his shoulder for yet another time, his stomach squirming once more as his eye caught the two Ursaminorians.
---
"Suau tells you considered the flight a little rocky." Masurao spoke, addressing his father after he had been released from his mother's embrace. Arvore lifted both eyebrows a single time, a doubtful expression appearing on his face. "I still prefer my feet and tail as main utility of transportation." he answered vaguely. The younger boy chuckled a bit, something amusing glinting in his bright green eyes. The older man beheld him for a second, before he reached out an arm and locked his son in a hug of his own. "If you think you are getting too old for hugs from your dad, you better keep those thoughts to yourself." he spoke, patting Masurao on the back. The latter did not protest and his action of returning the hug suggested that he didn't believe this in the slightest.
"How is Juro?" he inquired when he was, too, released from his father's hold. "And the others?" With this he referred to his fellow students he had trained with at the Natyre Academy.
"Juro relayed he was very impressed with you last report," Daun-Jani explained, her motherly instincts kicking in and starting to straighten out his clothes and putting his hair in place. "He believes that this opportunity does your personal growth well and he hopes there will be a lot more interesting adventures ahead of you." She smiled at Masurao as she relayed this information to him, her eyes continuing to express how genuinely content she was to see him.
"The others send you their love," Suau continued on, her arms finding their way to behind their back once more, "But Sratyj said to make sure to tell you he sends most of it." She grinned at her brother, who rolled his eyes at the message of his friend, but seemed amused nevertheless. "Apparently he hasn't changed a lot." he replied, twitching his mane gently. His sister nodded in agreement. "But I also had to tell you that he misses you, and so do Vuori and Malynu. They hope to get a chance to see you soon." "I'll make sure we do." Masurao said, a gentle calmness hanging about him as he momentarily reminisced of his friends back at home.
"But you have to show us your friends too!" Suau piped up, her tail flicking enthusiastically behind her. "You've told us so much about them, I want to meet them! Is that King from Origami here too?" She looked around, her usually relaxed demeanor seeming to have made place for a peculiar excited one. "I remember how impressive he was when he came to visit us. And Niji's here too, right? She really wears a crown?" Suau's spinning head came to a stop and now she looked up at him instead. Amusement twinkled in her golden eyes as she looked her brother in the eye. "And Tala. I'd like to meet Tala." She grinned and waggled her eyebrows suggestively.
"Oh, I think all of us do." Th eldest male said, also grinning and his mother nodded enthusiastically in agreement. Heat rushed to the boy's cheeks, but none of it showed beneath his thick coat of fur. He could feel his automatic defense mechanisms build up inside of him, but then he remembered there was no need for those in front of this little girl. It took him a while to respond, as if he was looking for a suitable answer.
" ... You'll get the chance. It's a little crowded right now, but ... You'll get to see her." His stomach squirmed a little and he started to feel a little warm. As if meeting his employer hadn't been stressful enough, he now became aware of the idea that Tala's parents also had to be around here somewhere. The thought made him twitch his eye slightly and he looked a little flustered. Daun-Jani ran a gentle hand across his head, seeming to notice the state he was in, like most mothers have to ability to do. "Of course. We'll get the chance. Are there any other of your friends around?"
As if right on cue, a flock of birds zoomed over their heads and collided all together in the center of the room. A lot of startled aliens looked up as feathers rained all over them. Excited chatter filled the room and boomed through the large space. "Well ... There is one of them overthere." Masurao replied dryly, pointing up towards Cyril and his siblings as they were reunited. Suau regarded them with certain curiosity. The guard's attention shifted away from the family and travelled through the room, watching if he, perhaps, caught sight of another Sector SUN member.

Orange eyes were sharp as they examined the area around the gigantic room, watching as the massive crowd grew ever-larger. She could scarcely believe that so many bodies were made to fit in the huge room, but with the excitement of the reunions and of seeing those that most had missed terribly, no one seemed to mind whatsoever. Only the sight of a certain arrival had her frowning a little, and her thin hand slipped into her pockets with incredible ease.
"You'll have to excuse me," she said to Mizu, with the utmost politeness - politeness that she really only used when something was amiss. "There's something I must. . . attend to. It was cool to meet you, man." A ghost of her old grin flittered across her lips. "I'll definitely come chill with you guys again soon, swear it."
After taking a mere second to knock her fist on Dengeki's shoulder as she walked by, she waved to the trio and took off at a jog, her lithe frame melting easily into the crowd within seconds.
When she popped up again, it was beside her brother, who she immediately addressed. "Etoile!"
He didn't seem to hear her. The loon. Frowning again, her fingers curled and she promptly hit him with a fist. "Etoile!"
"Ow!" The boy whirled around, his expression befuddled. "Why are you hitting me? Tala, look, K-"
"I need to borrow your pants."
"Sh- . . ." His expression dropped into a blank stare of utter confusion. ". . . What?"
She sighed impatiently. "I need to borrow your pants."
It was clear that the male was having a hard time processing the situation, and he glanced down at his own blue trousers before giving her a look that clearly signified that he thought she'd gone mad. "Tala, uhh. I'm sort of. . . wearing my pants. And as much as I'd love to strip down and give them to you, I doubt it would look good in front of all these families if I started walking around in my boxe-"
"No, no!" Her hand waved dismissively. "Not those pants! I don't like those, they look great on you but they hang in weird places for me. I want the brown ones, with the thinner waist, the ones you don't have to use a belt for."
". . . You've. . . worn these?" He regarded his trousers with a new expression, as though he was considering how many times he would need to wash them before they were considered clean again.
"Yes. Can I borrow your pants or not?" The girl's expression was entirely hopeful, as though this was the decision that would either make her day, or break it.
"I. . . uhhh. . . why?"
A huff rushed out from her lungs. "Because Masurao's parents are here and I can just bet that this means that I'll have to meet them soon, and I'm only wearing these shorts because I didn't have anything else clean, I don't like them much, and I'd rather meet his parents wearing pants because I feel more comfortable in pants, and like I said, none of mine are clean, so I need to borrow your pants."
Blue eyes stared at her for what seemed like an eternity, trying to process this enigma that was his little sister. Finally, he decided to himself that trying to make sense of her words would only drive him to madness, so he shrugged. "Have at it, it's not like you haven't stolen them before. I guess you know where they are?"
"Yup." Now she was grinning, and quickly hugged him. "Thanks, bro, I really owe you."
But as she was starting to walk away, a new voice cropped up, on that tugged on the faint strings of her memory with it's tender amusement. "All these years, and you still prefer his clothes over your own."
"Just the pants," came the quick retort as Tala whipped around to face her accuser, "I happen to l-. . . . holy J'in."
Hands hooked behind her back, Kaeni's head tilted to the side and she beamed. "Hey, Tala."
". . . DUDE!"
Laughing, Kaeni flung her arms out. "DUDE!"
Tala leaped at her and the two stumbled to the side, clinging to the girl as though her life depended on it. "KAENI MTH'NEY! Holy J'in on a J'in sandwich! You look so grown up and pretty and I can't believe you're here and ha, you're still not taller than me!"
"Shut up!" Laughing, the girl cuffed her shoulder lightly. "You look exactly the same! Oh, but look." A purple-tipped finger reached out and twirled a few strands of thick green hair. "You're wearing your hair down, I like it."
"I'm too busy hugging you to sock you for that," Tala beamed widely, tightening her arms around her friend's thin torso. "I'm so glad you're here! Listen, I really, really have to go steal Etoile's trousers because I'm sick of these shorts, but when I get back, if I'm not mobbed by Masurao's family, we will catch up!"
"Go!" Kaeni laughed, pushing her off, and Tala saluted her before lifting into the air, whizzing away toward Etoile's room and disappearing down the hall in a matter of seconds, leaving Etoile and Kaeni to continue to exchange quick updates about their lives with happy smiles.

Nothing like pants to reunite old friends. ^^.....I think. D: XD; ---------------------------------------
Already, the thoughts of worry and anxiety of being liked were washed away as she looked from each Luminarian. In response, she gave a small, furry smile of her own. Lunira wasn't sure what some of them had said, but she figured that they were all sweet comments following Anaximander's comment. From the corner of her eye, she even caught Nebulos's smile, which caused her in turn to smile as well. Though there was also a small blush rising to her cheeks as he squeezed her hand.
Then, as Nebulos's father commented on her mother and brother, Lunira turned her head as well. From afar, she locked eyes with Moxinosh who still seemed a bit scared out of his fur. She looked to her mother who gave a modest shrug and a "Well, you know..." look. When Halora had raised an arm to wave back to Vah'Kuh, Lunira's focus was once again turned onto the Luminarian family. Even so, she had caught her boyfriend's father's question.
"Well, he's kinda shy..." Lunira began, trailing off. Her eyes went to the floor as she was trying to find better words to explain, but then she noticed Nebulos's nervousness, so she sent a squeeze to his hand in reassurance.
When his mother had offered an idea of Nebulos going over first, Lunira's eyes lit up. She nodded in agreeance and beamed. "Yeah! That might work!...I mean, uh.. Good idea." She quickly caught herself, the small outburst causing her to flush with embarrassment.
Looking over to her blue hatvortave, she raised an eyebrow at his sudden blushed face. But, rather than questioning that, she nodded in response to him.
"Yeah, let's go!" Then, as she squeeze his hand in reassurance, figuring that he might be blushing with nervousness, Lunira began to lead him over to her mother and brother.
On the other side of the room, or rather, a few normal paces away, Moxinosh kept his grip on his mother's leg. However, it was starting to loosen within minutes, since he had kept his eye on his older sister. She had been holding hands with that white-haired lad for an awfully long time, and something about that didn't settle right with his mind. Even as they came closer, his focus was on how the blue boy's hand was still in his Lunira's paw.
Halora, however, thought this was all too adorable. She thought of the other family to be very nice, after exchanging a friendly glance with the mother and a wave to the father. Still, she'd rather meet them in person to know them fully, but with her little boy, that might be awhile.
"Oh look, one of them is coming over. Are you still afraid, sweetie?" She looked down to her son, who only kept his focus straight ahead. Soft little whimper left his throat in response, but by the way his grip was slightly lessening in tightness, Halora had figured he wasn't as anxious as before.
Finally as they approached, Lunira waved to her mother. Moxinosh had shifted in position and concealed himself by putting his mother in front while he hid right behind her. Lunira could still see his eyes, nose, and ears still poking out from the side in curiousity. She shrugged and turned to her mother.
"Maim, this is Nebulos...He's my friend." She pointed with a paw. And then, she turned to Nebulos and gestured in the same way. "Nebbie, this is my mother. Halora." It seemed like only two seconds, but it felt like five minutes as she had briefly let go of Nebulos's hand to go and see if she could pull her brother out of hiding when she heard a high-pitched squeal.
"OhsothisisNebulos, wellheisjustooadorableandtoocute.Andhegivegreathugs!" Lunira and Moxinosh turned and couldn't believe their eyes. Just as Lunira had let go of Nebulos's hand, her mother proceeded to wrap to arms around the light-shedding boy and envelop him into a very tight hug. From the usual calm and composed mother came the hug-and-squeezing mother. By the way that she had kept going on and on by how adorable and cute he was, Lunira had a feeling that her mother wouldn't be letting go of the one-sided hug too soon.
