Hehe, I sort of did something like that in a story I once wrote. In the story, Father had discovered of Rachel and Patton's relationship, and Father kidnapped Patton and blackmailed Rachel into surrendering. The story concludes with Patton being rescued and the two promising to be more careful with their relationship, but Father still ends up causing trouble for them in the long run.
As for when grandfather returns, well...let's just say Patton becomes determined to make sure Rachel is sfae from his clutches.

I see. Leaving Father and Grandfather out for a moment, it would seem to me that Patton and Rachel together would be a couple best suited for any Romeo and Juliet scenario out there, given their thoroughly opposite thought processes. In fact, Patton might be more likely to favor a romantic relationship than Rachel. Sector V and Fanny might try to help, but there's a distinct possibility that anyone other than those six kids would find out and... inform others, thereby getting the gossip cycles going within the Kids Next Door. Talk about an onslaught of dilemmas for Patton and Rachel.

Once again, you've hit the nail right on the head my good friend, I really do see Rachel and Patton as a very Romeo/Juliet like couple, especially because Patton is more favour of them being a couple, and Rachel perfers for them to just be friends so that it won't cause them any trouble.
Well at the moment in my fan canon, it's mostly just Sector V, Fanny, Harvey and Jeffery( fan character) that know of the relationship. Although in a later story line, Matt discovers the relationship, and through the powers of his KND fanboyness( and the use of the spam button on his keyboard), he reveals the secret to every KND operative and starta wild rumor that gets way out of control.

Playing as Romeo and Juliet, or working around their respective positions? Playing as Romeo and Juliet, or working around their respective positions? I wouldn't be surprised if Nigel, Hoagie, and Abby tried comparing Patton and Rachel to Wally and Kuki -- keeping to themselves, of course. Assuming that certain bits and pieces of information were to leak out without Patton and Rachel's knowledge, much less their approval, any Kids Next Door indulging in this gossip could instantly fall silent if Patton or Rachel were close, leaving either or even of them confused... and, perhaps consequently, even more uncertain. Out of curiosity, prettywitch, have you ever done a scenario that has information about a romance between Patton and Rachel leaking out and creating an uproar among various Kids Next Door?

That would be a cool scenarino to do actually, I think that might make an interesting story concept now that I think about it. Thanks C7Angel.
No, I've never actually done a story like that, just concepted it. Although later on, I reveal that Virginia discovered the relationship on her own, but vows to keep it secret.
