Why Can't I?-Epilogue = Chapter 4; Commitment
~**
Rachel’s dream wedding—had officially come true.
The wedding was in the meadows right out of the town of Gallagher, which made people wonder just how in the heck how many spaceships would land from far out planets.
But two dragons, a male and female only flew easily, across the Milky Way and through the constellations to Earth.
Nearby the ceremony where it was presented, stood a tree… The bride hid herself, taking the last dose of insulin for the afternoon.
“Rachel, sweetie…” Kyra placed her hands on her best friend’s shoulders. The purple alien had really grown up. Her hair had grown out much, but was in a low bun. Only her two long bangs were acceptable to be in place. Kyra wore a black dress with a blue stripe streaked down it, looking fancy.
She and Chad were married, which was pretty predictable. They grew closer and closer each day. And then… they just, well, clicked! She admired his leadership skills, as he admired her piloting and mechanics.
Rachel heaved a sigh, and put the away the needle quickly. Her cheeks flamed. “Do you think anyone noticed?” Kyra perked her large ears, collecting radar.
“No.” she answered. The bride sighed in relief.
“Good. I’m pretty sure Nigel would go berserk if he knew that I’m still worrying about diabetes…” Rachel glanced to her dress, smoothing it out with her hands.
“It’s only today; don’t worry too much about it, okay?” Kyra corrected with a grin. “Now… turn.” Rachel did as her “foster-mother” asked to. The alien took Rachel’s long, long waving blonde hair, placing it into a low pony-tail. Then she created a pony-tail holder made out of white gardenias to hold the human girl’s hair in position.
“There.” Kyra said, after the finishing touch. Rachel smiled at her best friend. She thought Kyra was truly her mother after all.
“Rachel!” called a voice. Kuki had rushed up to them, taking the bride gently by the hand.
“C—come on, now! It’s time.” Kuki told her. Rachel gathered her courage, and nodded at her friend.
She flashed Kuki a wide smile. “Alright. I’m ready.”
It wasn’t a very small wedding as you would say, but it was just right. Ryan had given his daughter away to Nigel James Uno. The man who promised Rachel that he would always be there for her, in poor health or illness. Especially this.
He had promised to love her, support her—taking care of her, everything. She promised the same, every word she had meant.
They were destined to be together. Even the stars said they would be.
The two lovers united together with their silver necklaces—a gem in both. A ruby for Nigel and an aquamarine for Rachel. Instead of traditional rings, and instead of an engagement ring—Nigel had surprised his future bride with a necklace instead.
Rachel has worn it ever since. As they exchanged the necklaces by placing them by their necks, Nigel was hungry. He kissed Rachel’s neck lightly after he had placed Rachel’s wedding necklace around her.
With these necklaces, they are wed.
“I do.”
“An’ now… ya’ll can kiss the bride.” said the minister—Doctor Abigail Gilligan with a close of her bible.
Nigel and Rachel held each other closely, kissing passionately and calmly. They broke away, hearing their friends of Sector V and GV clapping. Zinc and Zoey roared in glee.
“My lady,” Nigel whispered to his wife, taking her hand. “Your carriage awaits.” He picked Rachel up, carrying her bridal style.
The Prince and His Princess.
Zinc grinned wildly, and lied down in the grass. A saddle was buckled over his back, and he spread his wings. “Care for a ride, sister?” he asked. Rachel smiled, kissing her brother on the snout.
“Thanks, Zincy.”
Nigel then placed his bride on Zinc’s back, and then sat behind her. He wrapped his arms around Rachel’s waist, tightly so she wouldn’t slip.
“Alright, Zinc!” Nigel called out to his faithful steed. “You know what to do!”
“Right, Boss!” Zinc cried, flapping his wings. Zoey watched her mate soar into the sky with her sister-in-law and her newly wedded husband.
Mr. and Mrs. Nigel Uno waved goodbye, flying out on an adventure and towards their honeymoon.
Kuki and Wally watched, waving in delight.
“Hey…Wally?”
Her boyfriend turned to her, grinning from ear to ear. “Yeah, Kooks?”
“Do you think… we could…well… be like that one day?”
Wally grinned, taking her hand. “Ah’d thought ya never ask.”
Just then without any reply at all from his girl, the blonde man kneeled down on one knee. He held out a diamond-ring between his thumb and index finger.
“Kuki Sanban… will ya marry me?” he asked her.
Abby, Hoagie, and Sector GV “Ooooh”’d at the sight.
“Say yes!” Lunira laughed, encouraging Kuki.
Kuki’s eyes swelled with tears, a hand covering up her mouth from shuddering so badly. She felt goosebumps on her arms and the butterflies from her tummy escaping.
“..W-W-Wallabee…” she murmured, as the tears dripped from her face.
“Kuki… oh, please don’t cry.” Wally pleaded, smiling more.
“B-but… Oh Wally!” Kuki tackled him, hugging him to death. “Yes! YES! I will marry you, I will! I will! … I—I WILL!” she screamed it across America.
Wally laughed, hugging her back. “Oh Kuki… thank ya…”
He was going to be the happiest man on Earth. He really was.
She kissed him straight on the lips. Passionate, and long. When they pulled away, it was hugging all over again. Wally stood, helping Kuki from out of the grass. He smiled, wrapping an arm around his new fiancé.
“Well… looks like we’re gonna have another weddin’ today, guys.” He said.
A new beginning was offically starting.

*face-palm* I'm sorry if it's rushed, and the ending is very cheesy. It's 12:30 AM ... and I really wanted to finish up the story. ^-^ Nigel&Rachel are offically married in the end, Kuki&Wally are engaged.
Yay! ^__^
Now... *goes back to dream up for chapter 2 of Allie D.'s Nigel&Rachel fanfic*
