(Gah, sorry I always just kind of ignore the previous events and merely mention my characters were involved, I just can't always be bothered. T-T)
Quietly observing the commotion around her, Nalo merely drifted along in the wake of her new friends, seeming unfocused to the casual observer. But it was just so difficult to pay attention to so many things at once. Especially when the pilot of their ship zoomed past her with such a force that caused her to spin three revolutions before coming to a stop, swaying dizzily. A hasty glare followed the blur of yellow feathers as she plucked a few strays from her hair, continuing to float onto the ship.
Vibe had been quick to keep up with the twins, and seated herself next to Unagi, although now she was looking around at the interior of the ship, apparently rather intrigued by what she was seeing. Cyril had already found his way to the others, but was yet to find a seat, because he was still flapping around excitedly.
"OH MY GOSH THIS IS GOING TO BE SO COOL!" Most of his feathers were staying attached to his body now, but he still recieved a few funny looks for his volume, including one from Vibe.
"I just dread the moment he starts asking "are we there yet"..." she muttered to no one in particular.
Nalo, having followed Etoile and the others, was soon seated beside her friend, still looking around at anything within her vicinity. Noticing Cyril's hyper behaviour, a limb suddenly shot from her back, a large hand at the end, which grabbed the poor bird (who let out a squeak out surprise), set him down in a seat, and buckled him in. He rapidly began tugging at the buckle to release himself but found himself incapable.
"VIBE HOW DO I GET THIS THING OFF?!!"
"Indoor voice, Cyril! Indoor voice!"
"GEDDITOFFITSCHOKINGMEEE!"

Etoile had been delighted when the twins had taken the seats behind him, and had swiveled around in his seat to face them, with a happy smile already touching on his lips. "Hey guys!" He hadn't met the little alien that was perched on Dengeki's head, and he was about to offer a greeting when he noticed her facial expression.
This was followed by a dismissing greeting from her. "Yes, hi." She hadn't even looked at him while she said it.
Etoile immediately wondered if he had done something wrong, and his ears drooped downward, followed by his atennae. With fingers clutching over the edge of the seat, he lowered himself slightly, so that less of his head could be shown in his attempt to escape her sight in case she decide to treat him to a withering glare. The tips of his fingers, scarlet in the moments previous, had darkened to a dull maroon, to reflect his change in mood.
Around him came noises from other aliens, especially squawking and shouting from Cyril. He wanted to say something to Cyril to help calm him down, perhaps, but he was more concerned about the fact that someone was already displeased with him within three seconds of meeting each other.
He hoped desperately that it wasn't him who had done something to offend her, but he couldn't be sure. "H-hello." A pathetic greeting. He tried again, slightly louder than his previous whisper. "I'm Etoile. I-it's nice to meet you."
The words contradicted his obviously anxious posture, but he had been raised to be polite, and so polite was how he was going to be.

Ynda didn't look back at Etoile until he spoke to her. She was a natural grump, meaning that she would treat everyone the way she did the poor newcomer. However, when she heard and saw how nervous he was, she figured she might have to tone it down some. After all, he had done nothing to annoy her... yet.
Raising one eyebrow, she responded: "Ynda. But you're not calling me that. I'm Numbuh 72B-5." She hated being called by her real name, it felt too personal. And she would rather others weren't close to her, despite the fact her wall was easier to break to some than it seemed.

EDIT: Sorry, I always take ages to write, my post was supposed to be below Roz's -o-'
Tilting his head to the side in question, Nebulos wasn't quite able to comprehend why the alien in front of him suddenly got so flustered. Trying as he could, he couldn't find any reason why Etoile had possibly been rude in any way, until he himself explained it. Smile returning, the Luminarian made another gesture with his hand, as if he were taking hold of the apology and taking it elsewhere.
"No, no, don't be!"
He said, his hand now held out in front of him, waving it from left to right, eyes squinted joyfully.
"It wasn't rude at all, it was a lot of fun! Niji does it too, sometimes."
he said, gesturing towards his multicoloured friend.
"It always makes me laugh a lot, especially if she catches me by surprise, like you just did."
The tiny boy brought a hand to his mouth and chuckled behind it, the other three behind his back again, his feet rocking him back and forth in an amused manner. As introductions between Etoile and Milo-Lee followed, Nebulos began to walk along with the group and towards the spaceship, having to jog a little to try and keep up with the others. The lot of them entered the majestic vehicle (which appeared even bigger to Nebulos, given the size he was) and the blue alien let his widened eyes wander across the interiors. Now rather used to it, he was hardly distracted by Cyril, who came flying in a cloud of feathers, exclaiming his enthusiasm for all to hear. He could only nod in agreement that this was indeed going to be so cool, his eyes twinkling expectingly. Looking back, he saw that Etoile was waving at him and Nalo, the latter one already making way to sit beside him.
Happy because of the invitation, the small boy darted over. He reached for one of the seats, which had been conveniently equipped with an extra step for aliens smaller than usual, and climbed atop it. He sat there for a second, the seat seeming even larger than normal, seeing the tiny creature that was in it. Said creature nodded vigorously at Etoile's comment, antennea and hair bouncing.
"Yes, me too! I'm not sure what we'll be up against, but I'm sure we'll do great."
He turned to face Etoile, his face beaming with trust he already seemed to have in his fellow teammates, despite having just met them. It was then that another voice sounded, one he recognized as one of the twins. He looked up, but failed to see anything as the backrest of the chair was blocking most of his view.
Oh, by the way, this is Ynda. She basically hates me. I don't believe you guys have met?"
Oh right! Smiling, Nebulos put the telescope down next to him and got to his feet, standing upon the chairs spotless upholstery. Unexpectedly nimble, the little boy jumped once, his two upper arms clutching the back of his seat, so he was now leaning across his chair, facing the row of seats behind their own. Happy as ever, Nebulos did a joyous wave at the aliens he was now facing, even though he had greeted them only minutes before.
"Hi Vibe!"
He said, she being the alien he actually hadn't said hi to before. He smiled, antennea flickering gently, before he looked at Dengeki and the person sitting atop his scalp.
"Hi Ynda! I didn't know you were coming along on the mission, too! This is gonna be so cool!"
He added another joyous laugh, bolts alluminating gently in excitement.

Ynda turned her head when she heard someone call out to her, someone whose voice she'd recognize anytime. As soon as she spotted little, eager Nebulos, her face seemed to lighten up in comparison with her grumpy attitude from only a moment ago. Changing her frown into an actual grin, she said calmly: "Of course I'm coming, Squirt. You didn't think I was going to miss a big mission like this, did you?" She had no problem calling him 'squirt', as finding nicknames for other aliens seemed to be a habit of hers - and she'd been using Nebulos's for quite a while.

Vibe returned Nebulos's greeting with a calm wave, or more a simple lifting of the hand and nodding, keeping any verbal communication out of the way so as not to disrupt the conversation. Cyril still hadn't figured out how to get the buckle off, and was now trying to wriggle his way out, without much sucess, in fact he was more likely to choke himself now. With a sigh, Vibe lowered a fist onto the buckle without looking, unlocking it instantly. After a few moments, in which the bird alien stared at the open buckle in amazement, he returned to the air, where he was happiest, circling over the heads of the others haphazardly. Vibe was quick to notice the glare she was getting from Nalo, and could only shrug with an apologetic smile. Luckily the metallic girl seemed to accept this, amd merely returned to observing the conversation.

"N-Numbuh 72B-5?"
How was Etoile supposed to remember numbers like this? Feeling slightly more nervous than before, Etoile nodded while his mop of curls nodded with him. "O-okay, Numbuh 72B-5. I-I'll be sure to remember."
He sank even lower behind the back of the seat, feeling flustered at his horrid, stammering greeting. He didn't want to interrupt Nebulos' conversation, nor did he want to intrude on anyone else's conversation, so he scrunched down in his seat, not particularly talking to anyone.
Instead, he rolled open the map for the first time and scanned over the surface, drinking in all of the planets and information that it held. There were stars, fiery in their glory, and suns, blazing off in some of the corners of the map. There was an asteroid belt that chained across the middle, captured by brown markings like a trail.
It was a beautiful map, but Etoile wasn't able to make sense of it. He sent it floating in front of him, trying to figure it out, with both fingers moving across the surface while he muttered vague calculations and facts to himself while he tried to find any sense located in the map.
In frustration, he muttered, "This map doesn't make any sense," not realizing that he was holding the thing upside-down, anyway.

Ynda felt a bit bugged by the thought of having to talk to two different aliens at the same time. After turning from Etoile to Nebulos, she turned back to Etoile, as he answered her command from before. She didn't quite know what to respond, as he simply agreed. Instead, she watched him fumble with his map with a small interest, although she raised her eyebrow once more at the mistake he was unknowingly making. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and jumped from Dengeki's head to Etoile's shoulder without warning. "You're holding it upside down, stupid," she commented as if she was used to him doing this kind of things all the time.

Etoile flinched at the sudden voice, and looked around wildly to see Ynda. Or, Numbuh 72B-5. Slowly turning back to the map, he looked at the legend to realize that he was indeed holding the map upside-down.
Her words echoed inside of his head. "You're holding it upside-down, stupid."
Stupid.
His whole frame seemed to droop. He had no idea what he had done, but she was right; after making such a careless mistake, he must be stupid. He didn't know why she seemed to hate him so much, but he felt like he must ave earned it without knowing. And the idea that he had pissed her off without even realizing it made him feel even lower.
Slowly rolling up the map, he slid out of the seat, his whole form slumped as he stood and stared at the ground. "I-I have to go to the bathroom." Hurrying away, his only desire was to get out of everyone's view, where they wouldn't see him make mistakes that were. . . stupid.

(Awww... T-T Bad Ynda, lowering his self-confidence so much... *huggles Etoile*)
Ynda felt rather surprised to see him roll up his map, as she'd expected him to simply turn it around and find whatever he was looking for. She was left behind on his seat as well when he stood and started to walk away, not at all getting what was with him all of a sudden. "Er... okay," was all she could say, as she had no idea what he was thinking. The way she behaved was normal to everyone - or, almost everyone - else, so she didn't quite realize how her words might've hurt him.

At least two pairs of eyes watched him leave, one of which shot Ynda a glare.
"Yo, Ynda, go easy on the kid, will ya?" came Vibe's voice, a calm but vaguely concerned expression on her face. "That really hurt him; he's not used to you." She was, of course, completely confident in her assumption that Etoile had taken it badly; the thin tendrils on her neck were capable of sensing emotions, and she was damn near channelling the negative vibe she'd recieved from the poor kid.

[[ B'aww, don't feel bad. Once Etoile realizes that Ynda calls EVERYONE stupid, he won't take it as personally. He's just not used to her personality yet, so he totally thought she meant it. XD He's a little. . . naive, that way. ]]

(Didn't have time to post this before, just wanted to get Vibe's reaction down:)
Nalo was the origin of the glare; it didn't look like she and Ynda were going to get on. She may hardly know Etoile, but that wasn't a response she liked to see in a person. Although she had hesitated too long, and her friend was now out of sight, she rose from the chair and followed him anyway, hoping to relocate him. It was the rare occasions like this that she cursed not being able to speak, but was also grateful for it. If she could yell, getting Etoile to return could be easier, but if she could speak, then her response to Ynda could have gotten nasty.

(Heheh, no worries. :3 It makes him cute~)
Just as Ynda was about to climb back on Dengeki's head, she heard another voice call her name. She turned to Vibe and took her words with even more surprise, slowly realizing that she hurt Etoile's feelings just now. Seeing as Vibe was one of the few aliens Ynda felt respect for, she didn't bother snapping back. Instead, she muttered an "Ooooh...", relieved she at least knew what she'd caused now. But after that, she began to wonder if she was supposed to say sorry as soon as Etoile came back - something she hated to do. "Er... I guess that's fair," she added, hoping Vibe wouldn't tell her to apologize to him, even if she was meant to.

Haha, poor Etoile doesn't understand XDD
- - - - -
Nebulos antennea brightened obviously, his petite hands clutched the edge of the seat excitedly.
"No, I should've guessed!"
He added another joyous laugh after this statement, eyes closing into happy cresents once again. He then turned to observe Etoile, who seemed to have shrunk for some reason and had decided to retreat to his chair. Tilting his head in mild confusion, the blue boy observed the yellow one for a second, white optics blinking. Before he had time to say anything, Ynda had suddenly appeared between them, pointing at the map Etoile was holding, seeming a tad annoyed.
"You're holding it upside-down, stupid."
Nw, he was rather used to her comments like this, so that wasn't the thing that surprised him. What did, however, was Etoile's reaction. He, other than Nebulos, was obviously not used to it That much seemed evident when the boy's entire frame seemed to wilt like a flower without water provisions. He stuttered some hasty excuse and then he was off in a flash.
"Ynda! You can't say that!"
Nebulos proclaimed, waving a hand at her. He shook his head for a minute, uttering a soft sigh. The majority of this team was called 'stupid' by Ynda at least once a week, so they didn't respond to it. Etoile, on the other hand, seemed to have taken it very personal. And so, he nodded in respond to Vibe's comment, his expression not annoyed, but worried.
"You got to be more careful sometimes."
It wasn't a reprimand. It was more like he was giving her advice, or explaining why it was better to go outside when it was sunny, rather than when it was raining.
