Automatically noticing the dark green tint to Ynda's face, Dengeki strutted over to her with his grin still present on his face. "I can see you're happy to seen me." His smile was half sweet, and half mocking. He continued. "Usually by now you would've been sitting up here." He pointed to the top of his head. "Or at least saying hi to me. I'd be offended, but that would satisfy you, wouldn't it?" He was sure to lace the last part of his sentence with his acidic sarcasm, obviously wanting to get a big reaction out of Ynda.

Ynda wasn't very aware of his smile, as all she noticed were the words he spoke, one by one taken by her in a mocking fashion. She felt her blush increase, but she hoped it was rather out of anger than embarassment. Staring at the floor, she slowly clenched her tiny fists, which were trembling a bit by now. "You... you...!" she spat out in a hiss, feeling deeply indignated. She badly wanted to do something to him, something violent, but she knew there were plenty of boundaries when they were in the same room as practically all the other GKND operatives. She relaxed her hands in defeat, but refused to be beaten by an idiot like him so quickly. She pointed a straight finger at him and snapped: "What makes you think I'm happy to see you, huh?! As if I'd ever be happy seeing a fish-face like yours! Don't act like you know me!"

"You... you...!"
He had half expected her to jump up and attempt to claw his eyes out, as she normally did when he got her to this point of irritation. Dengeki was taken slightly by surprise and was even partially disappointed when Ynda chose not to physically fight with him. Then he remembered their environment. With a slight shrug he prepared to make an apology, a rare occasion for him. Instead, he was interrupted by Ynda's infuriated accusations.
"What makes you think I'm happy to see you, huh?! As if I'd ever be happy seeing a fish-face like yours! Don't act like you know me!"
Deciding that this was not the time or place for an altercation, Dengeki raised his hands in defeat. He didn't necessarily mind making the gesture, seeing as he'd definitely get her back later. He always did. "Okay, Okay. Sorry. Jeez." He kneeled down on the ground so that he could see her eye to, well, hair. The next words he spoke lacked their mocking tone and sounded almost sincere. "You sure you don't wanna sit on my head?" His smile now resembled that of child who had an obvious guilty conscience.

Ynda felt a little taken aback when Dengeki took no further action to attack her with a come-back. Usually, they ended up arguing until one of them, often her, resorted to physical matters and attempted to beat the other with violence. But due to this sudden twist, especially that unusual apology, she wasn't quite sure how to respond. Right when she began to relax a little, he kneeled down in front of her, which almost got her flinching and preparing for a counter-attack that would come after all.
But instead, he smiled a smile at her that seemed to be anything but mocking, and his words sounded sincere this time. Ynda blushed a little again, not believing he was attempting to trick her by being friendly and that he meant it. She couldn't help but pull a small grin and looked at him with new confidence. "I can see you're happy to see me, too. Fine, I'll fulfill your request if you want me on your head so badly." She leaned forward and hopped up his head on all fours, getting comfortable there.

Antennea brightened softly, eyes blinked, and Nebulos's head turned when he heard someone call out. Not to him, but to someone else, someone he knew rather well and he didn't know was here in the room in the first place. Head turned, a happy smile curved upon the blue boy's round face, one arm already up in the air and waving.
"Ynda!
His gloved hand swished from side to side excitedly, almost like a blur. However, he saw the green alien was already pre-occupied talking to one of the twins, Dengeki it seemed. He didn't want to be impolite and so he did not intrude. The greeting towards his other short friend had escaped him rather spontaneously, since he had been happy to find out she was here, before he had noticed she was involved in another conversation. And thus, deciding he had time to catch up with her later, Nebulos quickly crawled back onto Niji's head once the lot of them had started moving. Using this mode of transportation, he didn't have to jog to keep up the the others' much larger paces. Two of his hands held a device which rather resembled an earth's telescope, which the white lady had given him once he'd been appointed as Look Out operative. The other two he used to stabilize himself and hold onto Niji's crown.
“N’tilo equo’th ceru y’val z’nu-wai?”
He suddenly heard. Blinking curiously, Nebulos looked down from Niji's curls, there finding the yellow boy he'd seen tumbling accidentally off his seat earlier. Remembering this event upon seeing him, he felt a twinge of sympathy in his stomach for the small alien, although he seemed to be alright at the moment. Nebulos didn't understand what he was saying, but it didn't really matter since he was directing himself to Nalo. He did, however, understand what the boy meant when he turned to Niji and Nebulos himself and smiled, his head lowering in a respectful bow. The Luminarian was quick to return the smile and he added a slow, deep nod to this, too. Then, despite having just climbed up, Nebulos shifted upon Niji's head and slid back down, his feet making a gentle thudding noise when they hit the floor. He turned to face Etoile, who, regardless of being rather short, was still a good deal larger than him. Nebulos felt it was more thoughtful to address the boy standing here in front of him, rather than talking from atop someone's head. Being rather small himself, he knew what it felt like to look up to everything and everyone, and thus he decided to position himself upon the ground, so the yellow alien didn't have to look up instead.
"Hi!"
he said, three hands tucked behind his back and the other waving kindly, his antenena brightning and flickering in greeting. His everpresent smile was still on his face, the light from atop his head reflecting gently in his silvery eyes.
"My name's Nebulos, but you might've already known that."
He chuckled a at this, his free hand rubbing the back of his head shyly.
"You're name's Etoile, right? I'm pleased to meet you."
Still smiling, he added another gentle nod to this, confirming the statement that he was, in fact, pleased to meet the new operative.

“Hi!”
Etoile watched as the little blue alien, who had identified himself as Nebulos, slid to the ground and offered a greeting. He was indeed tiny, but huge in his persona, with a beaming face that made Etoile feel as though they were friends already. He couldn’t help it – the alien just seemed entirely personable.
"You're name's Etoile, right? I'm pleased to meet you."
With a smile that seemed to confirm this statement, Nebulos had finished his greeting, and Etoile knew that it was his turn to say something. But his tongue had suddenly tied itself in a knot as his shyer nature took over, and he grasped around for something to say.
“Yes. Yes, Etoile.” Well, he knew that already. “F-from the planet D’thlany.” He offered the piece of information merely to give himself time to think of something better to say. “It’s nice to meet you, too.” Executing another hasty bow, he had to brush his antennae out of his face when they refused to come back up.
“I-I didn’t already know that,” he admitted sheepishly as a twinge of violet brushed against his cheeks. “To be honest, I’m awful at memorizing names.” A weak laugh escaped his throat, and he offered Nebulos a small smile, full of his yellow-tinted teeth. “But it really is nice to meet you, Nebulos, I-I’m sure I’ll remember it now.”
With scarlet fingertips, darker now because of his nervous feelings, he gestured to the glow that Nebulos was emitting from his antennae. “That’s really nifty! I bet that comes in handy!”

Niji giggled at Etolie's comment about, Nebulos' illuminating antenna, nodding her head in agreement.
"Oh, he sure does come in handy. I'd lost my favorite pair of earrings underneath the sofa, and Nebulos was sweet enough to go underneath the couch and find them for me." She patted knelt down and patted her little blue friend's head. After straightening herself, she offered her hand to Etolie.
"My name's Princess Niji by the way." She brushed her shimmering multicolored bangs away from her eyes so she can see Etolie clearly. "It's very nice to meet you Etolie..." Her smile was soft and her voice was warm and welcoming.

The small boy chuckled, eyes closing joyfully as he did. Two arms held the telescope, while another made a wavey gesture.
"That's okay! It's not easy to remember names when you're meeting so many new people. And in case you forget, you can always ask me again."
He said, smiling up at the taller alien once again. His antennea brightened softly, an indication he was rather enjoying himself. His companion pointed this out, while all four of Nebulos's hands had been tucked behind his back again. The blue alien chuckled modestly, gaze wandering over to said antennea momentarily, which alluminated even a bit more when being gestured to. It was then that he felt Niji's hand pet his head gently, and heard her appreciative comment about the limbs atop his head. The smaller alien looked up at her, his face and antennea beaming.
"Thanks, Niji! You know I was happy to!"
After another bright smile, he turned back to the Etoile, beaming still.
"Yeah, I guess they quite do com in handy. My species, the Luminarians, are part nocturnal, so these do come quite in handy when it's dark."
He chuckled softly once again, figuring that what he just said was much like pointing out the obvious. And so, he continued,
"They usually display my emotions, too. They'll shine brightly when I'm happy, or dim when I'm sad."
And judging from the current light, it seemed like the alien was rather content. He watched how Princess Niji introduced herself to their new teammate, all four hands tucked behind his back again, the rather large telescope poking out from behind his head.
"Niji's very nice. She always hands out candy and stuff!"
His antenena brightened obviously at this comment, the sheer thought of the sweets enough to lift his spirits even more. Suddenly a thought occured to him and he eagerly gestured towards the chair Etoile had been levitating earlier, which now lay motionless on the floor a few feet away. He looked back at Etoile, his pale eyes twinkling excitedly, his smile very kid-like.
"By the way, I saw you standing in that chair earlier! Did you make it float? That looked so hypertonic!"

(Short post will be short, have been trying to write it since last night, sorry! DX)
As the group began to advance towards the ship, Nalo hung back a moment so as to avoid getting pushed around. To be knocked from her levitated center of balance could cause her to fall and hurt herself, so it was obvious she wanted to avoid it.
When she did start to move forward, she quickly became vaguely aware of her new friend walking alongside her.
“N’tilo equo’th ceru y’val z’nu-wai?” she heard from his side, and turned her head only slightly to make eye contact. She gave a slight nod, her face having reverted to its usual emotionless state. It was amazing how much or how little a person's face could tell.
When Etoile and Nebulos made conversation, Nalo merely hung beside Etoile, half listening to their discussion.

Etoile put on the best smile that he could muster, shaking Niji’s hand with enthusiasm. After such warm greetings, his shyness had melted away, and he was having as much fun meeting them as he had when he’d gotten to know the twins and Nalo. If everyone was like those he’d already met, then he was going to feel incredibly welcome here.
“Pleased to meet you,” he told the colorful girl, pleased by how polite she was. She seemed sweet, really.
He listened in fascination as Nebulos explained about the people of his planet, describing their powers and attributes. It was rather fascinating, like Nalo’s abilities, and he was entranced by the single amount of power that one being could hold. Nebulos’ antenna was shining so brilliantly that he seemed to be the only light source in the entire room.
“That’s fascinating,” Etoile murmured, eyes wide. His own glow was not quite so bright, and only occurred when he was levitating or practicing any kind of telekinesis. With a quick glance at his fingers, he cursed their inability to glow in any other situation.
At the mention of candy, the yellow alien brightened, reminded of the sweets on his planet. Because aliens of his race had a particularly strong sweet tooth, it was remarkable how much they enjoyed rich dishes and pleasant-tasting berries.
"By the way, I saw you standing in that chair earlier! Did you make it float? That looked so hypertonic!"
When Nebulos brought up the chair, Etoile flushed slightly, amused by the memory of his fall. But still, his lips curved upward into a smile as he nodded, caused his hair to appear even more disheveled than before. If he had one skill that he was proud of, it was his telekinesis. And while he wasn’t the best at that, either, he was still pleased by the fact that someone else thought that it was awesome.
“Yeah. Most of the people on my planet are telekinetic. It makes getting a fizzy soda much easier.” His boisterous laugh filled his lungs. When Etoile laughed happily, he never laughed half-way. It was always a vivacious, full-on laughter that seemed to radiate from every pore.
He went on to explain, probably telling Nebulos more than he wanted to know, but he was having fun telling someone about it. “We have three main hearts, all connected to each other, and a few smaller ones nearby. The reason that we have so many is because that’s where the power is stored. And then we use the power, it spreads all the way to our fingertips and toes, making us feel all warm and funny on the inside.” The memories made him grin. “And then our fingers serve as outlets of the power. See?”
In order to demonstrate, he would have to lift something or move something. Reacting on first impulse, he directed his fingers at Nebulos, and the tips began to glow, shining a bright red color as the same scarlet light began to encase the tiny blue alien. Without warning, and hoping that Nebulos enjoyed heights, Etoile jerked his hand upward, and lifted the alien into the air.
But it was considered somewhat rude on Etoile’s planet to use their telekinetic abilities on someone without permission, which he recalled suddenly, and so he hastily put Nebulos back down gently, dropping his hand to cut the connection. His fingers, still barely alight with the glow, he then held up to show them. “There’s the power. It glows!”

Milo-Lee had hung back though most of Nebulos and Etoile's conversation, but was now staring, golden eyes huge with shock, as Nebulos was engulfed in a red glow and lifted off the ground. She was silent until he returned to the ground.
"There's the power. It glows!"
She turned to Etoile, "You did that? That was so awesome!" Of everything she'd seen today, that just might of been her favorite. "Oh, we haven't really met, have we? I'm Milo-Lee!" She said, giving her tail a little, happy flick. She glanced over her shoulder, spotting Finnick nearby staring at the ship. She leaned over, grabbed his paw, and pulled him over, "And this is Finnick!" She added brightly. Finnick looked shocked for a second, then smiled, "Hi, you're Etoile, right?"
A thought struck Milo-Lee, everyone was showing off everything they could do, what if someone asked her? She didn't want to lie to them, she'd told them about being a princess, didn't she? But this was harder, but she might be able to use it on missions, and was really the sort of thing her team should know about. That pulled her short. Her team. She was part of a team now. If they asked, she would show them. But she really hoped no one asked....

Nebulos, too, laughed at Etoile's little joke about retrieving sodas. His smile widened obviously, the thought of such a situation sounding rather amusing, not to mention convenient, especially given the size they were. Genuinely interested, the tiny boy tilted his head, invisible ears perked as Etoile told them about his abilities and how they were used. He nodded every now and then, showing he understood the explanation, fringe swaying gently.
“And then our fingers serve as outlets of the power. See?”
As the yellow boy held out his hands to him, Nebulos looked right at his palms, his mouth forming a perfect curious 'o'. Pale eyes widened in surprise when suddenly the hands he was looking at started to glow with a bright red aura. Quiet and expecting, the blue boy stood there, until suddenly his surroundings turned red. He blinked a few times, briefly wondering what was going on that made his vision go maroon so suddenly. Then, looking back at Etoile, he quickly understood that it was in fact him creating this, and not his own eyesight. A small movement of his hand and Nebulos's feet left the floor. He gave a tiny yelp in surprise, though it wasn't a scared one. He hung there for a bit, startled face staring at the shiny floor beneath him, the glow of red forcefield reflecting in his silvery optics. Then, swift as ever, a smile curled onto his face, making his eyes as well as his antennea light up in joy.
"Wow!"
He said enthusiastically, a full-hearted laugh soon following. Two arms holding the telescope still, he moved the other two about, aswell as his legs, making him look as though he were swimming in mid-air. He was reminded of Niji's forcefields as he hung there, though it didn't quite feel the same.
"Hi, Niji! Look, I'm as tall as you are now!"
He waved at her and another gleeful chuckle escaped him, bolts brightning happily, which shone red instead of white as he was engulfed by the red shimmer. Quite impressed, he hardly realized Etoile was already lowering him to the ground. It hit him when his feet hit the floor.
“There’s the power. It glows!”
Etoile explained, which made Nebulos look back up at him, who had been staring at his feet, in awe still. The smile was plastered on his blue face, his excitement not attempted to be hidden at all.
"That is so cool!"
His kiddy, high voice exclaimed, free fists clenching enthusiastically. He looked from Etoile's face to his hands, and pointed at them.
"And you can glow, too! How awesome!"
Eyes closed in happy curves once more, the little alien let his antennea brighten gently in response. It was then that distraction arrived in the form of Milo-Lee, who -by the looks of it- was quite as impressed as Nebulos was. Fueled even more by the feline's eagerness, Nebulos nodded vigorously, the lanterns atop his head bouncing as he did.
"It is, isn't it? That's got to come quite in handy, too!"

Etoile hastily bowed, his expression worried suddenly instead of delighted at Nebulos’ enthusiasm.
“I-I apologize greatly for being so rude,” he burst out, with lips that had paled in his concern. “I should not have levitated you without express permission, it was terribly rude of me and I apologize for it.”
From the look on Nebulos’ face, he hadn’t minded it at all; no, he had rather enjoyed it. But Etoile still worried, trying to make sure that he was polite enough for these new friends he was making. “Please, I promise that henceforth I will make sure to ask first. It was horribly rash of me.”
Hoping that those apologies had been enough, he finally felt that he was alright to straighten, so that he could meet the eyes of Milo-Lee and Finnick. He had just barely remembered their introductions and made sure that they were not wasted, although Milo-Lee’s sudden enthusiasm was startling.
“I am honored to meet you, certainly. Etoile, from the planet D’thlany.” By that point, he was walking up the ramp in the rocket ship, where seats were waiting with for them to buckle in until they had broken out of the atmosphere. Quickly, Etoile hopped into one, snapping the buckles shut with his fingers, which had finally dimmed down.
Smiling, he gestured an offer to Nalo and Nebulos to sit beside him, if they wanted. Of course they were free to sit wherever they wanted, but their company was pleasant. His other hand clutched the map, which he hadn’t looked at yet, and he wouldn’t think to until they had broken free of the bonds of gravity.
“I’m so anxious, but it’s so exciting,” he chirped to no one in particular, his feet swinging since they didn’t quite touch the floor.

The twins raced aboard the ship, Dengeki still carrying Ynda on his head. Unagi noticed Etoile sitting alone, so he took Dengeki's hand and guided him to the seats behind their newest friend. As he strapped himself in, Dengeki spoke to Etoile. "Mind if we sit here?" Unagi joined in. "Well, its too late, cause we're already here."
"And we ain't moving!" Dengeki smiled. "Oh, by the way, this is Ynda. She basically hates me." His smile was friendly, but his tone was serious. "I don't believe you guys have met?"

Ynda calmly stayed on Dengeki's head while he and his brother entered the ship. She became a little alerted when they purposely went to sit behind an alien she didn't know yet, but then realized it was the alien that had made her feel slightly jealous before, despite being unaware of it.
She simply rolled her eyes at Dengeki's remark about her and looked at Etoile only once before glancing inside, seemingly disinterested. "Yes, hi," she muttered, looking around in the ship at the other aliens in the process.
