Dengeki sped up to fall in step with his escort. Without looking at him, the escort commented "We're here.", and left Dengeki. Just as he was about to turn and head to the bathrooms, he heard a familiar voice, followed by a sharp pain in the back of his neck. He lunged forward, due to the pressure, and turned around, anger rising, and shouted, "DUDE, WHAT THE-Oh, hi Cyril." And just as quick as his anger surfaced, it receded upon seeing one of his closer friends. Cyril blinked a few times, and perched on Dengeki's head. "So Dekki, what are you doing here? Wasn't Unagi invited?" Cyril questioned him, innocently.
Dengeki cringed slightly and looked around to make sure nobody had heard his name. He replied softly. "Hey Cyril, would you mind not saying my name on this mission? We're kind of sneaking me in." Unagi's voice erupted into his ear, yet again.
"YOU BETTER NOT BLOW OUR COVER!" Unagi yelled into his headset. He looked at his purple companion and shrugged. "Dengeki found Cyril." He smiled and put his arm around her. She looked at him with a slightly mocking smile and replied.
"How much longer do you plan on being in here? It smells like fish. "

Vibe looked at her male companion with a slightly mocking smile and replied, "How much longer do you plan on being in here? It smells like fish."
How Vibe had come to be in the bathroom with Unagi was no mystery. She'd known the twins plan all a long, and simply managed to sneak away from her escort long enough to locate her boyfriend. She knew her minutes were numbered, however, and kept glancing over her shoulder, despite the door not being within her sight. Twice now Unagi had told her to quit it, and four times she'd told him to stop yelling.
It wasn't long before her escort did find her, and Vibe was forced to accompany the gangly male alien without complaint, lest they should locate the twin in the bathroom with her.

Etoile’s face burst into a wide smile, flashing a row of slightly yellow teeth and a glimpse of his purple tongue. At once, he seemed relaxed, so though the mere assurance of her friendship had taken away some of his anxiety around her. Behind him, his little tail started to waggle, almost pleasantly, signaling his content with the beginning of such an event.
“We’ll be the greatest friends ever!” he chirped happily, tilting his head to the side. “I’ll try to help you as best I can, promise!” He was feeling quite triumphant at having made a friend already, and felt quite certain that if he could make friends with Nalo, then he could be friends with anyone here, and the thought relaxed him entirely.
He was about to say something else when suddenly there was a figure on the stage in front of them. She was lithe, a pure white, and not very outstanding, but somehow, her presence seemed to demand attention. Her eyes, a soulless, blank white, gazed out at them all, and Etoile felt a strange fear at what she was about to tell them.
“We want to thank all of the operatives for coming out here,” she said in a voice that seemed like the wind itself. Her smile, barely visible, was worried behind her thin attempt at a mask. “We truly appreciate your dedication to the Galactic Kids Next Door cause. What I have to tell you is important, so if you will please pay close attention.”
Her sleeves, long and flowing, fell to the ground as she extended an arm out toward the ceiling. “You see, there is a threat that has begun to attack, one that any normal sector cannot handle on their own. And since our sectors are busy dealing with other problems, we’ve decided to take matters into our own hands.” Those eyes swept over them; those empty eyes that seemed to delve into the soul. Etoile felt a shiver run down his spine.
“So we’ve assembled some of the best operatives that we know of and have gathered you together to make a new sector, which we will call Sector SUN – Special Unit ‘Nfiltration. ‘Infiltration’ because we are going to ask you to do something very dangerous.”
Her long, slender finger pointed to a star map. “Planets are disappearing. Being completely consumed. We know what the force is, but nothing about it, only that its headquarters are here, at this end of the spectrum.” The tip of her finger landed on a speck, representing a small, lone planet. “We’re going to ask you to rocket out there and infiltrate the headquarters, both to find information and, if you are able, shut the operation down.”
For a moment, the air was thick with nothing but silence, as she stopped speaking and sighed gravely. “I know we’re asking you to do this with no forewarning, but please considering aiding us. Who will agree to fight back?”
Etoile flicked an antenna at her and then raised a trembling hand with no hesitation. Shy, he was, yes. And sometimes uncertain. But he would fight until the day that the universe collapsed.

(Ohhh! This is getting good)
Finnick and Milo-Lee listened intently, hanging on every word the odd figure on the stage said. When she finished, the hall was silent and a moment that felt like years passed until a small boy behind them rasied his hand. Instantly, Finnick's hand shot into the air. This, he thought, is why I joined the GKND for. This is why I left Mione and Olly and Skipp and my parents. And Giv. This is why I left all I knew. This is my mission.
Milo-Lee, however, was less certain. Could it really of been just yesterday that Larkin was asking her to tell him a story? That Flor and Fawn were nagging her to get ready? It felt like she was a years and years away from her now. But she was commited; she was here, and she would fight. And, why not admit it? She wanted to be with Finnick, he reminded her of Larkin and Leaki, her little brothers, the only people she knew she'd die for. She grabbed Finnick's hand with one hand and her other shot into the air.
Finnick turned his head quickly when he felt the sudden presure on his hand. He saw Milo-Lee was looking at the stage, a fire in her golden eyes. He smiled a little and turned back toward the stage, glad he wasn't facing this alone. They held on to each other, remembering all they fought for, and everything that they would face, and knew they'd, without even meaning to, become partners.

Vibe scuttled into the room and quickly occupied a seat in the back row, just as the female in command appeared. Cyril had found a seat with Dengeki, and Nalo looked up towards the stage. The three listened to everything the white figure said carefully, glad to finally know what this assembly was all about. Their relief didn't last long, however, considering the nature of the task the female was sending them on. Cyril looked up at his fishie friend worriedly; Vibe glanced around the room uneasily at the others; Nalo, her body still half turned towards Etoile, gazed at the boy, although her expression revealed nothing. “I know we’re asking you to do this with no forewarning, but please considering aiding us. Who will agree to fight back?” Cyril's wing was in the air before she'd finished speaking, waving it enthusiastically. He wasn't a bird who ever turned down a challenge. In the back row, Vibe half heartedly raised her hand, half heartedly because she was rather tall and also sensible and saw no need to wave her long arm above her head. Nalo raised her arm with Etoile, also without hesitation. Sure, she was rather concerned about this, but no one else needed to know that. Vibe glanced around the room, noticing many other aliens also raising their hands, and a few having trouble, either because they were having second thoughts, or because their alien body meant they didn't have any hands to raise. Whatever the reason, the majority of the hall were definitely in. (Oh, I never posted information on Vibe and Cyril, since I didn't think I would be using them. Well, for easy access: Vibe's informationCyril's informationNalo's information)

The Luminarian boy cringed a little upon seeing the cloud of feathers collide with the opposite wall. Judging by his exhilerated chatter, however, Cyril seemed proud rather than hurt the minute he had pulled himself together. Nebulos chuckeled a little, amused but not entirely used yet to the bird's antics, but nonetheless content he still seemed to be able to fly as he watched how he settled down on Dengeki's (or was it Unagi, he still couldn't tell) head. The blue alien turned his head towards his two companions, planning to speak, until he saw something shift from the corner of his eye. He looked back at the stage, there finding a white figure, whom he recognized as one of his superiour commanders. She gracefuly strode over to the speaker's desk, the noisy murmurring in the hall immediately seizing as her authorotive aura seemed to silence each of them.
Sliding back into his chair, his antenena alluminated a little and he perked his ears, making sure he wouldn't miss a word of what the alien leader would say. She spoke loudly and clearly, in a way that a serious leader would. The more she explained, the larger his eyes grew. He gasped almost soundlessly when she mentioned the disappearance of several planets, his eyes growing even larger when she indicated the source of this problem on the star map. An uneasy feeling stirred in his tiny stomach as he gazed at the sole planet on the holographic map. Something that made planets disappear? Entire planets? Who could possibly be capable of doing such a thing?
“I know we’re asking you to do this with no forewarning, but please considering aiding us. Who will agree to fight back?”
Two of the four arms he had shot into the air, the bolts atop his head gleaming determinedly. Nebulos glanced back at the map once more, eyeing the lonely blinking dot upon it. Sure, it was rather intimidating to know this... whatever what was causing it, was able to make entire celestial bodies disappear, but his feeling for justice was more powerful than his unease. No one had the right to control things that didn't belong to them. It seemed to be getting out of hand already and he couldn't help but think what could possibly happen if this... thing came close to Base. Or planet Lumin. His eyes narrowed briefly at the star map, his sticking his tongue out of his mouth as he did so, emphasising his dislike. Not long after, another smile curled onto his face and he stretched his arms a little higher, hoping he was making himself as clear as he could. He took this opportunity to look around, and was happy to see that a lot of hands had already found their way into the air. His smile increased, being warm at the feeling of unity that seemed to ooze from each operative seated in the room. His antennea shone a little brighter, contentment showing, his attitude as positive as it could be, certain that whatever laid ahead of them, they'd be able to face it. No matter what.

Dengeki leaned back in his chair and looked around, obviously bored of his surroundings. He was thinking about leaving to switch with Unagi, when he noticed Vibe sneak into a seat a few rows behind him. In an attempt to catch her eye, he started making random and obscene hand gestures. After about 5 minutes of drawing attention to himself, he gave up. He spoke into his headset.
"Your mistress has arrived."
Unagi glared at the wall, pretending that it was his brother. A timer counted down in his head. 3, 2, 1, time. Too late to make a witty response. Instead, he stretched his long lime coloured arms and got to his feet. He figured that the worst that could happen is that one of them would have to go home, and frankly, he didn't feel like being on the mission in the first place. He had better things to do, even if he didn't know what he would do. The only thing he did know, was that he didn't want to spend a mission hiding in bathrooms on and off. He spoke quietly into his headset, despite the fact that he was alone. "I'm coming."
He walked out of the bathroom and into the room containing the diverse group of operatives. Unable to find a seat, he just stood in the back and scanned the room for his brother. He had just located him, when the question was asked.
"“I know we’re asking you to do this with no forewarning, but please considering aiding us. Who will agree to fight back?”"
Flipping his hair away from his eyes with a sharp movement of his head, he raised his hand and watched his brother raise his own simultaniously. A smie crept across Unagi's lips at the thought of twin telapathy, but it vanished, as he noticed two escorts looking at him, whispering, and looking at his brother. He tried to seem nonchalant, despite the fear that was slowly overcoming him. Maybe it was a better idea to stay in the restroom after all.

A smile graced the elegant features of the White Lady, who seemed pleased at the number of responses she had gotten. There were a few who had not raised their hands, and she watched them file out before returning to those who had volunteered. She beckoned them forward with one long white hand, and floated in place while she waited.
Etoile leaped out of his seat and ran to stand beside her, feeling tiny compared to the tall alien woman. She was so powerful and intimidating and yet endearing at the same time, and he quivered slightly as he stood there, his little hands clenched tightly. Curiously, he looked back to see if Nalo was coming to stand with them as well. He’d been pleased when she’d raised her hand, too.
The White Lady smiled at the entire group and then swept them a low bow of respect. “It pleases me, all of you who are so incredibly brave. You will be remembered until the end of time.” Her blank, soulless eyes seemed to carry a warmth within them as she swept her gaze over the group again, looking almost proud of the team that had assembled.
“Why don’t we introduce ourselves to each other? As you will be working together, we’ll need to get to know one another, and so you may take a few minutes to tell us about yourself.” Her hand waved at them good-naturedly, beckoning one of them to speak.

The two escorts started to make their way towards the twins. Through his hair, Unagi watched them split up, one walking straight to him, and the other taking a detour to get to his mirrored counterpart. Before he could react, Unagi felt his arm getting pulled away from his body. He looked at the escort, now tightly gripping his hand, almost cutting off circulation.
"Numbuh X*2, you're coming with me", the muscular escort demanded, squeezing Unagi's arm even harder. Unagi gritted his teeth as he felt his bones possibly shatter. Despite his struggle and obviously pained look on his face, his voice remained soft and calm as if he were having a regular conversation with someone about the weather.
"I'm afraid you have the wrong guy.", he answered with a slight smile. "I am Numbuh Ex. Star. Cubed." He enunciated it slowly, each word dripping of sarcasm. The escort angrily twisted his arm. Unagi cried out at the sharp pain, sure that his shoulder had been dislocated. When he looked up again, he noticed the other escort standing there with his brother in a similar position.
The second escort whispered something to his own companion. The only words Unagi could make out were "says.....he's...........real......cubed.." It wasn't hard to figure it out. glanced toward his brother, who responded with a smirk. They both knew what to do. They had practiced this so many times before.
"So who wants to tell me who the real X*3 is?" Dengeki's escort asked with a threatening tone. Unagi looked around and noticed other aliens in their general area. They had their audience, and it was time to put on a show.
"I'M THE REAL X*3!!!!!!!!" Their voices rang out in unison. They each pointed at the other. "HE'S THE IMPOSTOR." Satisfied with the reactions, they lowered their voices to normal conversation volume and still spoke together at the escorts.
"It's a shame that you two can't tell us apart. But think about it."
"Would you rather have us fight alongside you and help on this mission of yours?" Dengeki offered the first choice.
"Or, would you rather lose two more operatives that won't help?" Unagi provided the second.
The escorts released the twins with a dumbfounded expression. Unagi stretched his arm and moved his dislocated shoulder back into place. Noticing that nearly the whole room was focused on them, Dengeki spoke loudly, his voice having a hint of a melody as it echoed through the auditorium.
"I am Dengeki and this is my brother, Unagi. We are Numbuhs X*2 and X*3, respectively, from the planet of Xanaduatama. Sector AQUAZIA. And we will do whatever it takes to contribute to the success of this mission." The twins turned back to the escorts and stuck their tongues out at them.

Haha XD

As the ivory girl in front of them made an elegant gesture to invite them to come and join her up front, a happy smile curved onto Nebulos's face. His antennea flickered gently, another outing of his contentment, before he stood up and leapt off his seat and onto the floor. His shoes had merely made contact with the glossy floor beneath, when Nebulos spotted a yellow flash striding over to the stage, apparantly very eager to join their leader there. A chuckle wasn't unable to stay hidden, and he soon found himself fueled with excitement as well, following the yellow alien he did not know towards the stairs which led to the stage.
When the Luminarian boy had reached the upper step, he saw the unknown alien already standing beside their commander, looking a tad flustered, but determined all the same. However, there wasn't a lot of time for introductions, as suddenly all the attention was drawn away from the stage and focussed somewhere on the pathway in between the chairs. A bit surprised, Nebulos turned his head to look for the source of the ruckus, and saw that several other aliens had done so as well. It didn't take too long to find out. His gaze soon found the set of twins, who'd stood at a larger distance from one another than they usually would have, but -so it seemed- not by free will. Confusion was now evident on the blue face, white optics blinking a few times as he witnessed the scene unfold itself in front of him. The fact that the duo of green aliens suddenly started accusing one another of being the same person didn't exactly help to settle the bafflement, but it did manage to get a laugh out of Nebulos, who'd just seen the expression on the buff aliens standing near the twins. Confused as he may be, he found it quite amusing all the same. Besides, he figured quickly, there really wasn't a reason why he had to be very confused. He'd seen them behave in a similar way before and their plans had a tendency to work, so it wouldn't matter to ask them to elaborate. And afterall, as said before, Nebulos found it quite entertaining to watch. So today was no different.
Whether it was due the twins' performance or the anticipation of the huge mission ahead of them, Nebulos could feel a rising excitement in the large briefing room. One might've been anxious because of it, but that wasn't the case for the blue alien standing here. On the contrary, right after the twins had introduced themselves, an eagerness was already radiating from the tiny boy, radiating like the light that shone from his antennea. And said light had begun to shine a little brighter, too, as he turned his small frame towards the monochrome girl near the speaker's desk. Still, respective of his superiours, he made sure to send her a deep nod first, his smile gentle, yet very boyish.
"My name's Nebulos!"
he exclaimed, the bolts atop his head flickering for a second as he did. He'd made sure to turn towards his fellow operatives as well, hoping to make sure they'd understood he was addressing them, too. Another deep nod followed, his pale eyes twinkling a little as he continued,
"Numbuh 1001011, from planet Lumin. Sector GV, Communications Officer and Infiltration Operative."
To this he added a quick salute, his fringe swaying as he did so. Also, he made sure to include a quick, joyous wave of his hand, very much resembling a child on stage during a play, who waved to his mother in the crowd. This done, the little boy put all four of his hands on his back. He took a step back, intending to shift the attention onto someone elso so they would introduce.

Upon seeing Nebulos' wave, the twins waved back excitedly, smiling. They worked their way to the stage to stand with the other operatives getting ready to, or that had already introduced themselves. When they got there, Dengeki looked at Nebulos and smiled. "Did you enjoy the show?" Unagi also smiled with a slight mischievous expression. "We've been practicing"

An escort, which has previously been positioned at the back of the room but became heavily distracted by the ordeal with the twins, suddenly moved purposely towards the large group at the front of the room. Several cries of protest arose when the tall alien strode through the crowd, since he was simply expecting the smaller aliens to move out of his way; however his knees were causing mild head trauma in the ones that didn’t move fast enough. Coming to a halt behind Nalo, he grabbed the grey-skinned female by the shoulder and turned her to face him (not that this was really necessary, since she had already turned to look at the commotion behind her). She faltered; her expression was clearly startled and the tips of her feet brushed against the ground as she dropped in the air from her usual levitated position. The girl had hardly regained her composure when a small folder was pushed into her arms. It promptly fell from her fingerless limbs, but a new, thin, metallic limb burst from her back, the tip positioning itself underneath the falling folder, and then blooming into at least eight smaller digits, which effortlessly caught the cardboard envelope. All of this happened in one fluid moment, and the flustered girl looked up at the escort, only to find he was rapidly making his exit. Confused and bewildered, she lifted the folder to examine it closely, only to quickly realise that most eyes in the room were on her. She peered over the edge of the folder carefully, then blushed and glided gracefully through the air to hide behind Etoile.

Etoile was lost in all of the chaos that had begun to ensue inside the room. He didn’t know what to think about any of it, only that this was sure to be an interesting mission if these were the people that he was going to work with. But that wasn’t always a bad thing; after all, they would need such kinds of amusement if they were going to keep this mission lighthearted in the face of eminent danger.
Then, suddenly, all of the eyes were on him. No, not him, Nalo, who had ducked behind him to avoid the probing gazes. Which made sense, all things considered, but now the eyes were on him instead, and he squirmed beneath the attention.
With a faint attempt to stand tall, he announced, in his unusually soft voice, “D-D’jo n’tan’i!” A small bow to punctuate his attempt to seem polite. “My name is Etoile Ganmade, from the planet D'thlany, Numbuh 2521. Navigational group member and strategic mind.” He bowed again, feeling nervous, and then offered the group a tentative smile that showed his purple tongue.
It wasn’t fair that Nalo couldn’t introduce herself, and so Etoile decided to help, gesturing behind his back. “A-and this is Nalo! She. . . she can’t really talk. . . b-but she’s really nice! And she’s Numbuh Triple-Zero-Two, and. . .” Suddenly, Etoile realized that her name and her numbuh were the only things that he really knew about her. Grasping around for more information about her, he glanced behind quickly, with a silent expression that pleaded for help.

Behind him, Nalo had been calmly flicking through the contents of the folder, which turned out to be a factfile of information on herself. Not a very good thing to be carrying around, considering the abundance of their enemies, but it was very useful for the given situation. She has quickly located the most relevant information about herself, and quickly presented it to her friend when he looked at her for help. One of the thin digits of her metal limb was deliberately trying to cover the text which mentioned her operative position in the GKND, since she was a little self conscious about it, but her other fingers were clearly pointing to the information she thought was useful.

Etoile relaxed to see the file resting in her hands, which was apparently all information about her. Her formed fingers were pointing to different pieces of information, all of which he began to read aloud, his voice much calmer now that he knew what to say.
“Oh! Her full name is Nalo T-. . .” How were you supposed to pronounce it? “Tera’aviyah? Yeah. Nalo Tera’aviyah. Okay, she’s from the planet Revliss. My mum used to say that Revliss was a fascinating planet,” he added without thinking, before remembering that he was supposed to be introducing her. “Oh, and her species name is Chiz! And – why are you covering that up?” He moved her fingers slightly and began to read once more. “Her position is Janitorial Agent, aaaand. . . that’s all.” He flashed another grin, full of yellow-tinted teeth that matched his skin. “So that’s Nalo.”
Turning around, he beamed at her, a silent expression of thanks for the file. It appeared that they were going to make a fine team, after all.
