Nalo gave a nervous smile back, absent-mindedly reorganising and closing the fact-file in her 'hands'. She decided against glancing around the room to look at the other alien's expressions, and because she was looking at Etoile, it startled her to hear a shrill yell quite close to her.
"Can I introduce myself now?!! Oh please oh please oh please?!!"
Hyperactive as ever, Cyril was eager to perform his own self presentation. "My-numbuh-is-A-B-Down-and-my-name-is-Cyril-and-I'm-from-an-awesome-planet-and-I-can-change-colour-look!" As he continued raving about himself, his feathers went through the entire colour spectrum, and the fact that he was waving his wings around excitiedly made it quite a sight to see. After a minute or two of his incessant ranting, a large gloved hand grabbed his head and lifted him up off the head of the alien he was standing on.
"That's enough of that," Vibe spoke calmly and with authority, and surprisingly the bird alien in her hand shut his beak and let his colour slowly revert. He pulled free of her grip and scampered up onto her head happily as Vibe gave her own introduction. "I'm Numbuh 935-H2O, or Vibe Malfunction, of the planet Cykroi," she stated. "I'm a technology design engineer, and general peace keeper," she added. Vibe was fully aware that her appearance could seem intimidating, so she was trying her best to avoid looking threatening. She gave a quick smile, being careful not to show off any of her large, sharp teeth. From atop her head, the bird alien had moved so he was lying on his stomach, and he was clearly hugging the girl's head.
"IIII looove Vibe, she's my bestest friend!" he told the crowd, a hint of pride in his voice. "And she loves me, otherwise she would eat me." The remark put a vague expression of alarm on Vibe's face, but she kept the gentle smile on her face, and her blue lips close together. Cyril just giggled.

Milo-Lee looked at the stage with a smile as she watched the little bird-like alien take the stage and introduce himself, she thought she caught the name Cyril but understood little else, however watching him babbling and changing colors made her feel a little better. What didn't help was when he mentioned the alien he was sitting on, Vibe, she introduced herself as, would eat him if she didn't "love" him. "C'mon, Finnick," she said, turning toward him again, "Now or never," He nodded and they flew up to the stage.
Finnick decided it'd be best for him to start off, so he turned and adressed the others, "Hello, my name's Finnick Mizzom, Numbuh 134340 of Sector GV, Scientist and Tech Officer. I'm from the planet Silvalucet, and I look forward to working with all of you," he finished, nodding. He turned to Milo-Lee to let her have a turn.
Milo-Lee took a deep breath and began to introduce herself, "Ciao, my name's Milo-Lee, I-" She pause nerviously for a moment, "I'm the princess of the planet Quesera," she blushed heavily at the word "princess" it was never something she was proud of, but she thought it would be better if she just when ahead and told them. "I don't want that to affect the way you treat me, 'kay?" She added with a smile. "And I don't have a Numbuh or rank yet, but, umm..." She trailed off, unsure of what to say next.

Upon seeing Vibe and Cyril, Unagi grabbed Dengeki's hand and walked towards them, sidestepping through the other aliens who gathered on the stage. "Vybliooooooooooosaaaaaaaaaa!", Unagi cried as he threw his long arms around Vibe in a tight hug. "I thought I'd never see you again! We got in trouble with the fuzz!"
Dengeki, not wanting to interrupt his brother's fluffy moment, turned to his side to make pleasant small talk with the alien next to him. "So you're Etoile, right? Sup dude!" He raised his hand for a high five.

"I could tell!"
The little alien responded to the twins after their inquiry whether he'd enjoyed their little performance. A chuckle followed suit, before he cupped one hand around the side of his mouth, as if he were going to tell a secret.
"But I don't think those guys could. They still look a little confused."
he continued, his eyes wandering over to the two muscled escorts, who hadn't moved from their original positions and were still blinking towards the stage in awe. There wasn't a lot of time for further conversation, when suddenly a shrill voice boomed across the large room. It might've startled Nebulos, if he hadn't recognized the person who was emitting the sound. Multicoloured feathers flew everywhere, some of them finding their way into the blue alien's hair and face, blinding him temporarily. It was quite a relief that Cyril wasn't much taller than he was, and thus the feathers weren't that difficult to remove.
When he'd plucked the final purple feather off of him (which had found a way into his boot), it was already Milo-Lee's turn to introduce. Just as he had raised an arm to brush off his sleeve, he caught her comment about being royalty. His action froze mid-air, his enlarged eyes travelling towards the feline creature, who stood there timidly, eyes cast to the ground. Nebulos blinked a few times, his head tilting to the side. He had definitely not pegged her to be the princess type. Especially not when he configured a mental image of his friend Niji, who looked as different from Milo-Lee as could be. Aside from that, he was also a little surprised she was here on duty as an actual GKND operative, and not as a member of the Royal Sector, like Niji was.
Well, in any case, it seemed like Milo-Lee didn't really feel very comfortable about relaying that information, and Nebulos was not one to pry. So instead, he continued to brush off his attire, before he, too, turned to the person Dengeki had started conversation with. It was the shorter, yellow alien he'd seen running over to the stage earlier, whose name was indeed Etoile, like he'd heard before Cyril had introduced himself. Curious, but not impolite, Nebulos took a step towards him and Nalo. They were the two operatives he hadn't seen around before and he was quite interested to find out who they actually were. His eyes found Nalo and he looked up at her, smiling kindly, his antennea brightning a little. From what Etoile had explained, she didn't seem capable of speech. Not having ever encountered an alien who couldn't talk before, he found it rather remarkable.
"Hi!"
he said, the bolts atop his head flickering gently.
"My name's Nebulos... but I guess you already knew that."
he added, scratching his white hair in light embarassment, but smiling very kid-like nonetheless.
"It's very nice to meet you."
He nodded once more, his antennea continuing to cast a gentle light. He looked back up, the smile still very wide and present on his face, his pale eyes twinkling joyfully.

Wobbling a little as she was suddenly attacked, Vibe stared at her friend like he was an idiot. "So you finally got out of that bathroom, huh?" came the uninterested response, her usually emotionless eyes portraying a much more playful mood. The tip of her brittle tail was flicking back and forth, as the only portion of the fifth limb that wasn't firmly wrapped around her leg. "You guys want to be more careful; next time you might cross paths with someone not so open to negotiation," she cautioned.
Elsewhere in the crowd, Nalo had remained behind her friend Etoile, merely watching and listening as usual, taking in as much information about the other operatives as possible. The extra metal limb she had created to catch the fact-file had long since be reabsorbed into her body, and her arms just hung lifelessly at her sides. Her gaze had been roaming freely about the room when she heard a voice somewhere around her knees.
"Hi!"
She looked down quickly, even though she wasn't sure if the voice was addressing her. It soon became apparent it was when her eyes met with the owner of the voice; a small, dark blue alien with white hair and four arms. Intrigued, she leaned down a little further to look at him, the interest clear in her expression.
"My name's Nebulos... but I guess you already knew that."
The boy continued to speak, and Nalo just smiled gently, nodding lightly.
"It's very nice to meet you."
Her smile widened in response, and her eyes closed briefly along with it. When she opened them again, she looked at the child before her with a mildly curious expression; her golden eyes seemed to shine more than usual, what with two white twinkling lights in each, the reflections of her new friend’s antennae.

Princess Niji rounded the corner and was elated to see kids on the other side. With a small smile she floated over to get a closer look. She saw a few faces that we're familiar to her: Nebulos, Vibe, Cyril, Dengeki, and Unagi, people she considered friends. However she also saw kids that she did not recognize, she tilted her head slightly,
"Hm, they must be new operatives then." She surmised. "I'd better go introduce myself." And with that final thought, she floated to Nebulos, with a smile.
"Hey Nebulos!" She greeted her small friend with a light smile.Nebulos looked up at her, and gave her an estatic grin,
"Niji!" He squealed and climbed on top of her shoulder to give her a hug, "Did you have a nice nap?" He asked. Niji chuckled and hugged him back.
"Yes, I did, cutie!" She cuddled him. She then turned her attention to the two kids in front of her. "Hello." She greeted with a small bow. "I'm Princess Niji of Orgami. It's so nice to meet you."
"Oh, these are new operatives Niji." Nebulos gestured to the kids. "There names are Finnick and Milo Lee. She's a Princess too! Isn't that great?"
Niji widened her eyes, "Well is that so? Wow, we have something in common already, Milo Lee." She giggled a bit.

"But that's the fun of it. We live life dangerously" Unagi smiled and shifted his position so that his arm was once again around Vibe. His bright tail had also found its way around Vibe's waist and seemed to be frozen in place in front of her, as if to serve as a protectorate. "Besides, " He a whine was present in the undertones of his voice. "We wanted to see if they had gotten smart enough to actually check for differences between us. You'd think that being such a meticulous organization, they would document every single detail about the operatives." With his free arm, he placed a webbed hand under his hair on his forehead and lifted it up, revealing his purple eyes that shone with satisfaction. As he removed his hand, his hair floated back down to it's original spot, resting just past his eyes.

(*pant pant* Okay, I'm running late, but I still wanna join, if it's possible. x.x I have too little patience to read all posts thoroughly, so could someone be as kind as to sum up the events up till now? My characters are Ynda, Nar and Lemigo, by the way... though I'll use the first one most. She's in my signature bar (though she's originally green) and is only a little taller than Nebulos, but smaller than Cyril. She's often grumpy and short-tempered, but possesses a sensitive side and can be a good leader if given the chance. Her abilities are running at top speed (and thus crawling over walls), sharp claws that are only visible when she thinks she needs to use them, and the reluctant power to heal. She considers it weak and won't use it until neccesary, and will keep it a secret from anyone possible. Pictures of her and Nar can be found here (I haven't drawn Lemigo yet): numbuh9.deviantart.com/gallery/#Galactic-Kids-Next-Door )

(Sorry to sound rude, but I think you should at least make an attempt to read through the posts. o.o We're only six pages in, and we only started on the third page. But anyway, basically the operatives have been escorted into this great white hall, individually by escorts, and a magestic white lady alien told them all why they were being assembled (if you read nothing else, read that), and now everyone is introducing themselves to everyone else. You'd be best starting with, I dunno, saying Ynda finally spoke up after watching everyone else's introductions or something. XD; If you want your other characters to be in it, though, it might be best if you bring them in now, since I'm not sure how else you'll get them in. But remember these characters have been assigned a very important mission, so if Nar was really bad at everything I think you'd have trouble fitting him in. XD; )

(You're not being rude, Roz, I appreciate your reply. ^^ Plus you're right, but know that I did make an attempt and that I said I didn't read them thoroughly. I read what's basically going on, but I was worried I would possibly miss any important points. Anyway, I'll bring Ynda in now, and you guys tell me if there's anything I said wrong. XD; I'll probably leave Nar and Lemigo out (although Lemigo can teleport himself to his "mom" basically anytime), as Ynda's my main character. ^^)
Among the different aliens was another small creature that had not been noticed yet. With firmly crossed arms, she stayed at the wall of the room to avoid getting lost between the taller aliens. Grumpily, she eyed them each to see which ones were familiar to her, and which were not. Although there were a few aliens that she considered actual friends, she made no effort to walk over and greet them. Ynda Kazemyr, or Numbuh 72B-5, as she preferred to be called, would rather stay alone at any time she could. However, she considered herself a part of this galactic organisation and wouldn't miss an important mission like this for the world.

Eep.
The alien that had spoken to him was ginormous. Etoile’s head craned upward to look at the alien, one of the twins, and smiled hesitantly, looking slightly nervous. He wasn’t even sure which one he was talking to; he hadn’t found a way to distinguish them yet. The hand that was offered for a high five was so far above his head that Etoile wasn’t sure that he was going to be able to return the gesture.
Glancing at his own hand, Etoile’s eyes caught on his red fingertips, and he immediately felt a little stupid. Oh. Duh.
One of his hands extended toward a chair, which he beckoned over. The chair didn’t seem to want to oblige, edging over slowly. Etoile grimaced impatiently and gestured again, and this time the chair lifted up obediently and floated over to where he stood. Squirming up onto the chair, he grinned triumphantly and slapped Dengeki’s hand with his own, which now carried fingertips that were glowing a bright red.
“D’jo n’tan’i!” His face was pleased with himself, and even happier due to the idea of making a new friend. “Yeah, Etoile. But. . . I can’t remember what your name is.” Sheepishly, he ducked his head, his antennae drooping slightly. He should have been able to remember names; they were going on a mission after all.
Sitting complacently on his floating chair, Etoile decided to take a quick look around, now that he was placed higher than before. On the ground below, a little alien, the one who could glow as well, was talking with Nalo. Etoile beamed happily, delighted that his new friend was making other friends just as easily. There was such a variety of aliens around, he had no doubt that he would find many new friends in this group, and he was excited.

YAY! FLOATING CHAIR! How we love you, floating chair!

XD I want one!
@ Renee:
Ooh, sorry, Renee! But one of the guidelines of this RP said that "you may only write the actions and dialogue of your own character. Any person has control only over their own original characters and no one else" So it's a little different from our other RPs X3 But no need to worry! We'll just go from there ^-^ It was a cute post, too, Niji and Nebulos have a sweet relationship :3
- - - - -
"And this is Nalo."
Nebulos continued, now pointing over to the metallic girl. His small antennea flickered once more, his eyes squinting joyfully.
"We were just getting introduced a bit better. She's unable to talk like we do, but she's been very nice."
The everpresent smile on his face widened some more, a soft giggle escaping his throat along with it. The small boy seemed to ooze sheer happiness itself, as if life was a neverending feast for him. Which it probably was. In the meanwhile, he had found a way to climb atop Niji's head, which proved easier to have eye-contact with the aliens taller than himself. That way, neither of them had to crane their necks, whether they had to look down or had to look up. Once settled, he focussed back upon Nalo, the light shedding from his antennea still bright and gentle.
"I hope I'm not too curious when I ask this,"
The blue alien said, casting his eyes downwards momentarily, a light blush tinting his cheeks purple.
"...But is there a way you use to communicate? To species other than yourself I mean."
He smiled shyly, all four of his hands clasped together in front of him while sitting crosslegged between Niji's multicoloured curls.
"I mean, we'll have to make sure you're alright during missions and all... Or when something's wrong, or just when you'd like to talk to us."
His smile widened a little more, and his antennea flashed once. One hand deattached itself from the other and pointed to his chest.
"I'm a Communications Officer, you see, so I'm quite interested in how you express yourself. I, for instance, other than talking, also use these."
The hand upon his chest now raised a finger, which pointed towards the two limbs upon his head, which flickered a few times as a demonstration.

When they were approached by the rainbow coloured girl, Nalo quickly turned her attention to her, and raised her eyebrows in surprise when she realised this girl was also a princess. At least it was a great deal more obvious, what with the royal colours and majestic uniform the alien was wearing. Milo-Lee looked like any other kid in the room.
When Nebulos introduced her, Nalo gave a friendly smile, as she had been doing towards all the other new people she was meeting. She also hastened to nod in agreement with Nebulos' comment about her being nice, her friendly smile becoming more of a sheepish grin now.
"I hope I'm not too curious when I ask this," came the boy's voice again, and Nalo was quick to initiate eye contact again, "... But is there a way you use to communicate? To species other than yourself I mean." Nalo wasn't at all surprised this question had come up, and her face lit up when she realised it was a question she could easily answer. "I mean, we'll have to make sure you're alright during missions and all... Or when something's wrong, or just when you'd like to talk to us." The grey-skinned girl nodded in agreement, and began absentmindedly flicking through the fact-file using a new set of metallic limbs that had sprouted soundlessly from her back. "I'm a Communications Officer, you see, so I'm quite interested in how you express yourself. I, for instance, other than talking, also use these." Nalo glanced up at the boy for a moment to observe him pointing to his antennae, and she nodded to acknowledge this.
As she flipped through the fact-file and began to tug out a piece of paper, another limb dug in a pocket on her clothing and pulled out a small black felt tip pen. Using the stronger cardboard of the folder to lean on, she applied the pen to the back of one of the sheets of paper that was inside the folder, then showed it to her two new friends. "I write" was written on the paper, in easily readable cursive lettering. She lowered it again for a moment to add the word "Also..." before floating a little higher in the air than usual, and lifting the end of her arm to touch Nebulos's cheek, slowly and steadily so as not to startle the boy. It was exactly what she had done with Etoile earlier, and using one metal limb to hold the paper and another to write, she scribbled down a sentence or two in Nebulos's mother language, hoping this would establish the connection between the physical contact and her knowing his language, despite having never encountered his species, planet or tongue prior to this day. She lowered her arm moments before finishing the sentence, and held it up for him and Princess Niji to see, although she wasn't sure if she would understand the alien language. The sentence briefly explained the connection, in case the small boy didn't make it himself, but she was fairly sure he was a smart kid. He seemed intelligent enough, and friendly too. She was getting a good impression from his female friend, too. Making friends this early in the proceedings was definitely in her best interests.

Raising his eyebrows in surprise, Dengeki asked a question of his own instead of answering Etoile's first. "Dude, sweet! Where'd you learn to do that?" He thought for a moment. "Oh wait, that must be one of your abilities, huh?" Not waiting for a reply, he answered his telekinetic companion's first question. "I'm Dengeki, Numbuh X*2." He smiled, his sharp purple teeth shining in the fluorescent light of the room. He ruffled Etoiles hair, much like an older brother would do to his younger sibling. "I bet you can't tell us apart yet, huh? If you want, I'll let you in on a little secret." Noticing Etoile's eyes widen slightly with curiousity, Dengeki's smile became even bigger, and his tail waved back and forth in a slow rhythm, much resembling a cat.
He lowered his voice to a whisper, and brought his lips so close to Etoile's ear that any slight movement would allow them to touch. He spoke almost cryptically. "The trick is in the eyes." He moved his head back and brushed his fringe away from his face, the mischievous glint returning to his cobalt eyes. He shook the hair back into his face and smiled a cheshire cat smile. "Get it?"

Etoile stayed quiet throughout Dengeki's entire speech, watching in fascination as the charismatic alien gave him the secret to distinguishing the otherwise identical twins. Blue for Dengeki. He could remember that, right? He would have to.
His cheeks turned purple with happiness as Dengeki's large hand ruffled his hair. It was an affectionate gesture that made him feel like he already belonged. "Y-Yeah, I get it! Dengeki, blue!" His little chirp of a voice didn't extinguish his pride at being able to memorize the factoid that would help him out many times in the future.
His glowing fingertips rested on the wood of the chair as he sat, cross-legged, trying hard to fit in with the gigantic alien. "Weeeellll, most of the people on my planet are telekinetic! My little sister is amazing at it, much better than me. Most of the objects never want to listen to me."
To aliens of Etoile's race, each object had feelings and a will, like any person. It was a vague thing that they were able to sense through their antennae, so that they could tell if an object was willing to move or not. The larger the object, the larger its will, which meant that getting it to move was much more difficult than a smaller object. It also could depend on the alien, and how friendly the reaches of their telekinesis were. Thus, the abilities fluctuated from alien to alien, and Etoile didn't consider himself fantastic.
"What can you do?" Etoile asked in a hushed voice, head tilted to the side. No doubt a large alien that crackled with power like Dengeki did would have some kind of awesome ability that would make Etoile's telekinesis seem weak.
