Standing atop a hoverboard, a fairly human looking alien stopped in front of the door, and looked at the collection of teammates he saw. That wasn't that hard. Because he could see very well, with his one, giant eyeball. Below the yellow-ish skin of the neck (Around which a necklace with a small coloured stone was hanging), he was wearing a black t-shirt with a red bolt of lighting. Over that, he wore a unbuttoned blouse, in brown and red. A wide, leather belt was holding up his baggy jeans. As for his feet, they were stuck in skaterlike shoes.
Seeing the drama unfold sofar, he floats in on his hoverboard, and then sits down upon it, to further watch what's going to happen.

"Nice hiding place, boys, I'll come to your funeral,"
Dengeki frowned, preparing to make a sarcastic statement, but Tala had already beaten him to it. Instead, he just prayed that Unagi hadn’t heard the comment from the disgruntled girl. He sat up, getting ready to hold his brother back if necessary. Though Unagi was usually seen as the nicer twin, one rude comment could easily set him off, like Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. He opened his mouth to speak, but the doppelganger was already up and about to confront Milo-Lee.
A deep glare was now pasted across Unagi’s face. He was willing to put up with practically anything, but a bad attitude and a snarky comment was one thing he did not tolerate. As soon as he was within an arm’s length of the cat girl, he grabbed her shoulder and spun her around to face him, interrupting their conversation.
“What’s your damage?!?” he demanded furiously. “What have we ever done to you? Nothing, that’s what! You think it’s okay to just go around, bringing your sulky attitude?” He spat the words at her, each sentence becoming more insulting and hurtful than the last. “Just because you’re jealous that you’re not getting everyone’s attention, is that it? If I were a single man, I wouldn’t look twice at you, seeing as how your rudeness obviously overpowers your beauty.” He bit his lip, waiting for a reaction.

"What's all the ruckus about?" A half asleep Jazlyn mumbled as she shuffled into the room, still dressed in her pyjamas. Yawning slightly, she ran her fingers through her scruffy and messy light blue locks. A small creature was in her arms, still fast asleep in spite of the din. "What’s your damage?!?What have we ever done to you? Nothing, that’s what! You think it’s okay to just go around, bringing your sulky attitude? Just because you’re jealous that you’re not getting everyone’s attention, is that it? If I were a single man, I wouldn’t look twice at you, seeing as how your rudeness obviously overpowers your beauty." She snorted. "What's the problem now, Unagi? Not getting along with everyone else, are we?" Jazlyn smiled sympathetically as she looked down at the stirring bundle in her arms. "Mmph....good morning, mistress." The bundle stretched, and leapt to the ground in one graceful move. "Good morning, Elyslux." Jazlyn smiled. Elyslux's ears, beads and several other areas were colored purple at the moment, which meant she was in a good mood. In the midst of making some swift calculations of the matters she had to take care of later in the day, a voice interrupted her thoughts. "Mistress, you're still in your pyjamas." Glancing down, she blushed a dark purple, in embarassment. "Oops, guess I forgot to change. Um, I'll go now, then." With that, she fled the room to make a quick wardrobe change. As for Elyslux, she leapt onto an empty seat, and curled up, her eyes never leaving the commotion. -- I hope that was okay, this is my first storytelling RP, and frankly, I haven't wrote a story in ages. xD I also took the liberty to introduce a new character, Elyslux. I'll get to a reference when I can be bothered to, lol.

Masurao gets to taste Niji's cooking! XD Haha, I love it! X3
- - - - -
"The last fruit pie I made wasn't that bad. Right? I-I mean sure it had a kind of bitter taste and color to it, but...It was still delicious! At least I thought it was..."
Quiet as usual, the stoic guard didn't respond immediately when this question was posed at him. He wavered for a bit, though hardly noticeable through his serene demeanor, glancing to the other side momentarily, as if wondering what kind of answer would be best suited. After a moments consideration, he turned his attention back to the colourful teenager in front of him, who was looking hopefully in his direction. "Well. I never really minded bitter foods." Masurao left it at that. It wasn't a lie, Egriadanians ate pretty much anything. But he decided it wasn't necessary to elaborate on how the other test subjects had reacted on Niji's cooking. He figured the simple response was kind enough, but didn't reveal too much. Being on the girl's tail most of the time, he'd witnessed her laboring activities in the kitchen from the front row seats, even assisting her wherever she deemed needful, and anyone who'd seen her working would agree that it simply would've been cruel to reject the cake she'd been slaving over all day. Even if he'd had his doubts when she'd thrown in some kind of fruit, peel and all. Silence was golden anyway.
"Well this one will be better this time. You'll be the first to taste it, okay?" she said eagerly, the basket of fruit clutched firmly in her arms, determined to do an even better job this time. Masurao could hardly say no. Firstly because he couldn't really deject a request from his protectee, and secondly, because he knew she'd probably spend another half day locked up inside the kitchen to try and serve the team a delicious piece of thankfullness. Originally, he'd been opposed to the idea that a princess had to work in a kitchen, but Niji had quickly dismissed such thoughts and he'd ended up assisting her, following her culinary orders to relieve at least some of the burden.
"Certainly." he replied with a nod, putting another fist to his chest and swooping down in another short bow in his trademark fashion. Despite having a strong digestive system, he secretly hoped the next baking would taste a bit sweeter than the last, which he assumed had been the intention in the first place. But he wouldn't share that thought out loud, of course. Having an unpassionate expression as your regular face did come quite in handy every once in a while. And he certainly didn't want to hurt Niji's feelings. "And I am sure Nebulos will do the same," he added, referring to the small blue alien. Nebulos also had a way with bringing his opinion across subtly, without hurting someone, and who was too kind to refuse to taste anything his friend made. And perhaps it would lift Niji's spirit a little at the idea that someone else wouldn't mind trying it.
This said, Masurao cast his penetrating green stare across the room, taking in every single detail that was there to see. Though having been in this room plenty of times, this was something he always did, as if he had to make sure there wasn't any hidden danger nearby. This is how his eye fell upon the trio lying on the floor. An inquiring eyebrow lifted, but he refrained from saying anything, probably not even wanting to ask. He didn't even have time to, because before he knew it, one of the twins (which one he couldn't tell) had jumped to his feet and made a dash for Milo-Lee and started to argue promptly. What had been exactly going on, Masurao did not know, since he'd been previously occupied talking to his princess. But he uttered a little huff nonetheless, not being a big fan of conflict in any way, but smart enough to keep out of it. Being in a room piled with teenagers, some personalities were bound to clash sometimes, but Masurao didn't let himself be fazed by it very much. These things had the tendency to work themselves out anyway.

I'll find some way to bring in Nebulos later X3

Noticing Niji comming in the room, Corin got to his feet, and steered his hoverboard though the sky towards her. Eyeing her and her bodyguard up and down, he nodded to Masurao, and sat down on the hoverboard again, his own line of sight slightly higher then the prinses'.
"Good Morning. Where you goin' with all those fruits? Mind sharing one? I haven't eaten yet."
Whilst he knew it could be considered rude to speak to people in this manner, he did it anyway. Most of the time he got away with it, and that suited him fine.

Milo-Lee felt a hand on her shoulder, was spun around, and found herself face-to-face with the tall green boy. She narrowed her eyes about to say something, but whatever she'd began to say was lost in his words.
“What’s your damage?!? What have we ever done to you? Nothing, that’s what!"
She glared up at him, then floated up so that she was at eye level with him. "I never said you did anything to me," she hissed, voice low, "I was simply pointing out that hiding behind a girl smaller than yourself is not the brightest idea,"
"You think it’s okay to just go around, bringing your sulky attitude? Just because you’re jealous that you’re not getting everyone’s attention, is that it?"
She felt her claws come out and her fur fluff up aggressively at this comment. "Jealous for attention indeed," she said with a snort, "In fact I'd like nothing better than for you to leave me alone!" Her voice was rising now, along with anger.
"If I were a single man, I wouldn’t look twice at you, seeing as how your rudeness obviously overpowers your beauty.”
That tore it. Her hands balled into fists and she opened her mouth to shout every foul word she knew at the boy, but a sharp pain caused her only to whimper a bit. She looked down at her hands to find that she'd managed to cut open her palms with her own claws, Smart move, she thought to herself, upset for having down something so stupid. "Back off," she said, folding her arms, trying to hide her bleeding hands, she voice a low hiss again, though a tiny bit of pain was showing. "Or you will see how rude I can be,"
Without waiting for a reply, she flew up to the ceiling to a wide pipe that was most likely for keeping the room warm or cool. She settled on the pipe, pulled off her sweatshirt, and stuck it under her head as she spread herself out on her belly, ignoring her bleeding hands and everyone in the room below.

Third time it ate my post, let's hope it won't eat it anymore....
--
Jazlyn returned back to the central room, dressed in a casual white tee and a pair of shorts. Her face was still tinted purple from the embarrassment earlier on. However embarrassed she was, she still saw Milo-Lee accidentally cutting herself, and flying up to the air-vent that hung in the low rafters of the ceiling.
'I better go get her a first-aid kit before she bleeds to death....' She went out one of the many entrances, her eyes never leaving the ground. As she paced towards the kitchen, she heard the sounds of coughing, and some clouds of flour drifting lazily outside the entrance of the kitchen.
'What the....' Poking her head into the kitchen, Jazlyn was greeted with the backs of two flour-covered figures slaving over the counter. It being early in the morning, her mind was still half-asleep, and she could not recognize the figures. "Who's that?"
The two figures swerved around, and she burst out into peals of laughter. "Niji....Masurao....What are you two doing in a kitchen being covered in flour?!" Wiping a tear from her eyes, she tried to control her fit of laughter, and proceeded to the medicinal cabinet to retrieve the first aid kit.
With her 'package' in arm, she strode back in the same direction to the central room, but not before she swiped a finger across Masurao and Niji's foreheads. "You two need a shower, I'll join you two later before you turn the entire place floury." Giggling, she continued on her way.
The view of the central room came into sight. Quickly spotting her little friend on a couch, she went over, and placed the first-aid kit next to Epsylux's sleeping form.
"Epsylux, do me a favor and pass this to Milo-Lee for me."
Epsylux craned her head up, her dull-gray eyes meeting Jazlyn's teal ones. "Why, Mistress? You know those things are heavy."
"Pleaseeeeeeeeeee." She made a cute pout at the feline-like creature. "It's either the kit, or me plus the kit."
"Yes, Mistress...." She grasped the large first-aid kit with her paws, and shut her eyes. A few seconds later, she was enveloped by a rainbow mist and levitated, then floated towards the air-vent where Milo-Lee was laying.
Placing the heavy kit next to Milo-Lee, Epsylux nudged Milo-Lee with a paw. "My Mistress wanted me to bring this to you. Is something the matter?" Epsylux spied a substance slowly seeping from Milo-Lee, a substance that resembled blood. "Are you hurt?"

"Or you will see how rude I can be,"
“As if you could take me,” Unagi scoffed, a few sparks rolling off his tail as it swerved in front of him for protection. But it was too late, Milo-Lee had already flown up to the ceiling in a place that not even the tall boy could reach. He fumed with anger, trying to plan his next move against her, but his thoughts were interrupted by a hand on his wrist.
He turned around to see the his own face, as if looking in a mirror. His mouth formed into an angry pout, like that of a child being reprimanded. Then, the thought came across Unagi’s mind. His pout instantly vanished and was replaced by a sly smile. “You know, if I stand on your shoulders-“
“No,” Dengeki’s words cut him off.
“Why not?”
“We’re not going through this again.”
“Yeah, because it was oh so nice of her to throw every offensive slur at me, wasn’t it?”
“No, it wasn’t but-“ His words were cut off by a punch that was milliseconds away from hitting him. Dengeki’s tail lashed out in front of him to block the fist, but he wasn’t fast enough for the kick that landed in his side. The boy doubled over, clutching his stomach, waiting for a flurry of attacks to hit him. He knew the exact routine that Unagi went through, down to every punch and lash of the tail. He also knew how to block every one of them.

@ Rachel: Oooh, sorry! One of the rules is that you can't powerplay. This meaning that you can't decide what characters other than yours are saying or doing. So I'd rather keep Masurao out of the kitchen for now XD
But nice setting, tough! It was funny to picture him covered in flour (very unwillingly most likely XD)
- - - - -
The dark blue many at the back of his head trilled softly, verdant eyes turning to the source of a humming noise that was coming their way. Expression looking composed still, Masurao turned his head into the direction the sound was coming him and found himself looking upon Corin, who was hovering his way towards them. The alien's unusual appearance had been enough to startle even this guard a little. But it was surprisingly easy to get used to it. When given a nod, the guard returned the gesture. An eyebrow was cast to the ceiling, however, as Corin now turned to Niji, posing her a question.
"How about saying 'please'?" Masurao said, monotone. His tone wasn't reprimanding. Pretty much like anything about him, it revealed pretty much nothing at all. But anyone a little acquainted to the canine boy knew that he valued manners, especially if they were directed at the royalty in this team. Even though it had been made clear to him that Niji didn't consider herself any different from any other alien here, Masurao had never been entirely accustomed to that idea. Well, it was his job to defend a king's daughter after all. So that was the way he perceived her, it couldn't be helped.
The wolfboy's mane began to twitch more fervently as the argument behind him started to escalate. He narrowed his eyes a bit, the loud, violent tones irritating his sensitive hearing. One could figure that a quiet character like himself didn't like ruckus very much. Especially between people who were considered a team. Hidden beneath his light-blue snout, a set of sharp jaws was grit, eyes closing almost demurely, seeming to concentrate to drown out the noise, his demeanor staying calm and composed as he did. Reopening his pools of green once more, he cast a quick glance over his shoulder, trailing Milo-Lee as she fluttered up at the ceiling, looking most displeased.
"Whazgoin'on...?"
A soft, slurred voice called out, making Masurao shift his gaze from the ceiling to the floor. For there, sauntering from the doorway, came Nebulos, using one of his many hands to rub in his pale eyes. His hair was ruffled and his current attire suggested that he was expecting a day off. His antennae cast a soft light, indicating he was tired still. Apparently, his date with his Ursaminorian friend had been a late night one. Suppressing a yawn by putting his hand to his mouth, Nebulos blinked his eyes warily.
"What's all the ruckus?" he inquired, shuffling over. "I was having such a nice dream t--" What kind of dream it had been, he would never tell, because right then, one of the brothers kicked the other in the side, and Nebulos had seen it. "HEY!" he cried out in alarm, antennae flashing in shock, all fatigue gone in an instant. Having arrived here after the fight had begun, he obviously had no idea what was going on. Being a rather sensitive creature, he considered a fight between friends highly upsetting. And this was a fight between brothers, no less! "Will you cut that out? Stop it!" he cried out again, voice shocked and almost pleading, his hands clenched into apprehensive fists.

Out on the corridor, hurtling towards the main room at the speed of light and emitting a high pitched squawk, Cyril was in big trouble.
"OH MY GOSH GUYS SOMEONE STOP HER SHE'S GONE CRAZY ALL I DID WAS STEAL HER JEWELLERY" rang out across the room as the blur of yellow feathers zoomed above people's heads, several sparkling bands and chains wrapped around his figure and shimmering brilliantly in the light. The bird was notorious for picking up shiny things that didn't belong to him and running off with them, and he was all too often daft enough to 'borrow' them straight from people's rooms. And this time, Vibe had caught him red-handed. (Or red-winged, as the case may be.)
Running faster than could be considering safe, and with more than enough ferocity to scare any aliens in her path well out of the way, Vibe had her teeth bared, her claws out, and was ready to tear Cyril apart limb by feathered limb. A loud growl was bubbling behind the teeth, and she hardly noticed the dispute between the twins and little Nebulos trying to stop them, because when Cyril flew over them and they didn't move, she simply leapt straight over them.
Or she tried to, anyway.
She bounded cleaning over Nebulos, but the twins were nearly her height, and she didn't jump fast enough, so unfortunately she ended up right in the middle of their fist fight, still blinded with fury and confused by the flurry of green limbs, giving Cyril enough time to find a table or closet or cabinet to hide under.
(Sorry to bring in more drama by the way, guys! XD;; )

Milo-Lee ignored the boy's comment. As if she didn't know that she'd never be able to take the boy, between his size and his tail, in a fight. She tugged the ring of light surrounding her ears thougthfully. Not in a fair fight anyway. Not that she'd ever admit that. She looked at one of her still bleeding paws, stained with pink-ish blood. She felt something nudge her other paw. She looked over, about to demand why they were bugging her and why would they leave her alone, when she saw Espylux.
"My Mistress wanted me to bring this to you. Is something the matter? Are you hurt?"
"Fine," She said, not thinking she could say more than that without sounding rude. She grabbed the kit, pulling out a spray bottle and some bandages. She began wrapping her paws quickly. "Thanks, tell her I said thanks" She said, her mood brightening a tiny bit as she laid back down.

In a flash, Tala was off the floor, away from the ruckus and to the side of the room where she knew that she would be able to stay out of trouble. As much as she loved a good rumpus, this one was far beyond her area of skill given her rather sad height. So she moved over to Etoile and sat directly beside him, slinking an arm around his waist.
"I'm a little scared," she stage-whispered, watching the twins fight while Vibe threw herself directly into the middle without meaning to. "This is one of the worst days we've had in a while, isn't it?"
The boy nodded, sending his curls into a bouncing fervor. Years later, the crop on his head was still as sproingy as ever. "We could stop them, if we wanted to."
"Telekinetic shields between them?"
"And a bubble for Vibe."
"Probably not a good idea, though."
"Once Unagi decks it out a few times, he might be able to calm down."
"Hope Vibe is okay."
"She should be. Until they chill, I'm going to just stay here, I don't know about you."
"I think I'll go visit my lovely friend Niji. She's bound to brighten my day a little."
"Just don't cause any fights, alright?"
"I'll think about it." The girl leaped up from her seat and bounded across the room, slipping through the ruckus and popping up next to her colorful friend. "Good morning, Princess Niji!" she chirped happily, tilting her head slightly while she swept a smooth, polite curtsy. "You look really nice today! Would you mind terribly if I stuck around with you a bit? There's an awful storm brewing up around here and I'm rather fond of your cheerful disposition."

Finnick, backing away from the now-fighting twins, ran straight into Niji. "Sorry!" He said, shouting a bit so he'd be heard over all the fighting. He straightened his glasses nerviously, upset over Milo-Lee's behavior and all the fighting going on. "It's been too long with too little action," he said to no one in particular, "Everyone's restless," Which was, in fact, a bit of an understatement.

Yes, Rachael, Niji's not in the kitchen as of yet. But I loved your post though! It was funny! ^^ ----------
"Certainly. And I'm sure Nebulos will do the same."
Niji gave Masurao an elated smile. "Thanks Masurao." She was so joyous, so grateful, so...Happy, that she could have hugged her wolf-like bodyguard, but the basket in her arms prohibited her from doing so. Besides, she knew full well that he did not enjoy being hugged, but his facial expressions he sported whenever she or Tala hugged him were a funny sight to behold. One thing she noticed though was that he never returned any of the hugs he received. But to his credit he did open up a bit from when the two were kids. She grinned inside at that. The multicolored teenager was begining to see Masurao not only as a bodyguard, but as a friend too. Just then she looked up from her basket to see Corin and Jazlyn entering the room, Corin approached her first.
"Good Morning. Where you goin' with all those fruits? Mind sharing one? I haven't eaten yet." He asked. Niji's eyes shifted back down to the basket of fruit in her arms,
"Well..." She began.
"You could say please." Masurao interrupted in a monotone voice. His comment was directed at Corin. Niji held her hand up ,
"It's alright, Masurao. Really, it's not a big deal." She smiled at him before turning back to Corin,
"Well, these fruits and berries are for the pie I'm baking." She looked down at the basket. "But since you haven't eaten anything yet. There's no harm in giving you one." She said handing Corin a soft green oval shaped fruit with purple spots on it. Just as she handed Corin a fruit, another familar face approached their little group.
"Good morning, Princess Niji!" Tala said happily, adding a small curtsy."You look really nice today. Would you mind terribly if I stuck around with you a bit? There's an awful storm brewing up around here and I'm rather fond of your cheerful disposition."
Niji smiled, then shrugged. "Of course I don't mind at all. The more people hanging out with me the better, I suppose! Besides, I could use all the company I can get while I'm in the kitchen. You can even taste the pie I'm going to bake when it's done." She offered with a small smile. "It'll be better than the last one I can assure you of-" She was cut off when Finnick ran into her, the impact knocked the basket of fruit Niji was carrying, sending the contents tumbling on the floor.
"Sorry!" He cried, his voice could be heard over the commotion. Niji sighed and shook her head with an amused smile, gathering each fruit in a colorful forcefield and placing them gently back into the basket. "I hope none of them bruised..." She fretted, examining the fruit as each one was place inside.

"Thank you very much!" Tala chirped once more, happily. "I'd love to taste your p-"
She let out a noise of surprise when a purple blur collided with Niji, sending all of her fruits across the floor. The princess bent down to pick them back up again, but Tala saw this as an opportunity to practice.
"Here, Niji, let me," she murmured, stretching a hand out and directing it at the scattered fruits. After a silent command from Tala, the fruits lifted slightly off of the ground and began rolling through the air, piling gently back into Niji's basket in a clean, high stack. "Yes!" With a fist-pump, Tala let out a triumphant cry and then put an arm around her colorful friend's shoulders.
"As I was saying, I'd love to taste your pie. And I can show you my new trick while you're baking it, if you want to see it!" Her wide set of yellow teeth flashed behind a wide, endearing grin.
