Dengeki let out a small sigh. "Yeah, and a few years ago, I didn't have coverage because an asteroid hit the satellite that connected our phones." He looked back at her, frowning at the glare he was recieving. "Maybe their changing their number?" He threw out another suggestion, though not very serious about it.
Suddenly, he felt something crawling on his leg, the darkness impairing his vision to see what or who it was. He squirmed as the object moved up his jeans and through his shirt. As he felt the cold hands against the skin of his chest, he swung his tail forward, determined to strike whatever was in there.
Finally, the alien popped out of his sleeve and he realized that it was Ynda. His shocked expression turned into a glare and his face became blue from the blush spreading over his face. Quick to cover up his moment of awkwardness, he spoke with a smirk.
" 'Ello darling," He greeted her as she settled into his hair. "How are you liking this blackout?"

Ynda felt an automatic blush appear at the mere sound of the word "darling", but she managed to ignore it. "I hate it," she snapped. "It interrupted my reading. I'm sure you have no problem with it whatsoever, due to your amazing glow-in-the-dark powers." Speaking of which, she noticed his tail was hanging at the spot she climbed only a moment earlier. "And get that thing away from there, it's not like I was going to hurt you. Though it might've been a good idea since you wouldn't have seen me coming..." she muttered, looking thoughtfully into the darkness. She felt satisfied, knowing she had managed to scare him for one moment.

"They are amazing, aren't they?" Dengeki spoke, referring to his 'glow-in-the-dark powers',ignoring the sarcasm in Ynda's voice. He continued to speak."Well, I wouldn't have known that you wouldn't attack, even if I did indeed know it was you." His tail resumed its position behind him, swaying yet again. "So, Ynda, why did you choose to go under my shirt? Did you want to touch my body that badly? Though, I have no problem with it," A smirk appeared on his face and he waited for Ynda's reply, satisfied that he could mask his own embarrassment with Ynda's.

Ynda facepalmed as soon as she felt her blush increase. She should've known that he would turn a simple act of teasing into a giant act of some messed up sort of affection. "You know what, you just want me to touch your body, that's why you're mentioning it in the first place," she avoided the question clumsily. "And for the record, moving under your shirt and having to suffer from an insanily dizzying smell coming off of your skin was worth making you squirm like a child, which you did." She grinned to herself, daring him in thought to come up with a good come-back to her words.

“Well, any guy would be happy with a beautiful woman touching his body,” Dengeki contradicted her, adding a compliment in order to make her comeback harder to create. His smirk widened and he lifted an eyebrow ate her next statement. “Well, it must be insanely dizzying, because I smell so good.” He thought to himself for a moment, unable to find a clever response to his action when Ynda had gone through his shirt. His blush returned, and he ignored the rest of the statement completely.

Ynda felt as though her entire head had turned dark green when she heard that compliment come from him. She felt so stunned that she forgot to answer the second part he mentioned, as he had made her run out of words for a moment.
When she got them back, she simply looked aside, although that didn't make much of a difference. "Don't insult me," she told him a more quiet tone. "I don't want to be called that when you don't mean it."

Eyes widening in surprise at Ynda’s response, Dengeki felt a small feeling of guilt. He had meant what he said, though he said it in a teasing fashion. He thought to himself whether he should justify his statement or just allow Ynda to think that he wasn’t serious. Blinking slowly as he thought, his words came slowly, much slower than they had before. “Well, it’s not an insult if I meant it, right?” His eyes shifted downwards, as if he could feel her stare.

Ynda looked back at him when she noticed how slowly he was speaking now, and felt surprised herself to hear him ask her that question. "... well... no... of course not," she replied just as slowly. "But I see no reason for you to mean it," she quickly added, not wanting him to think she was fishing for another compliment. "After all, there are many girls in this room that are much more "beautiful" than me." Right after she said that, she realized she'd spoken with a jealous undertone and felt like biting her tongue off. What the hell am I saying?!

Meanwhile, in the large group of chattering aliens, Etoile and Tala were watching the chaos unfold and standing around confusedly, their hands still clenched tightly so that they could continue to emit light like Christmas lights.
"Maybe we're being invaded by other aliens!" Tala said excitedly, mulling over the idea of such an event. But Etoile scoffed and bumped her shoulder with his.
"Our alarms would have gone off before the power went out. And I think we would have been attacked by now."
"Our headquarters are being sucked into a black hole!"
"Doubt it."
The green-haired girl lifted an eyebrow at him and asked softly, "Do YOU have a better idea?"
"Yeah." Etoile faced the group and lifted a hand, trying to call attention to his smaller frame. "Uhm, guys? I seriously think that this is just a power outage. I think if we calm down and wait it out, we'll be back to normal in no time."
Curse the boy for making sense. Tala stepped on his foot when no one was looking and then beamed brightly. "Anyone up for a round of Telarian Speed?"

Dengeki shrugged, and replied to Ynda. “So what if there are? I didn’t call them beautiful, I called you beautiful” He chose to ignore her hint of jealously, even though it could’ve fueled their argument even more. Instead, he was listening to Tala’s suggestions, hoping that she’d come up with a reasonable idea.
When she didn’t, according to Etoile’s reasoning, Dengeki let out a soft sigh. His curiosity caused the whole matter to bug him, and he had a slight uneasiness about being in the dark for prolonged periods of time. Then, Telarian Speed was suggested, and he immediately spoke up. “
”I’m in.” He smiled, knowing that he was pretty good at the game and it was a way to pass the time.

Ynda felt relieved when the subject was finally changed, although she couldn't stop thinking about that compliment at the moment. She liked to think that he was just teasing her and would never actually consider her beautiful in a thousand years, but then again, both times he called her that, he sounded rather sincere.
So what if he did, she thought to herself, a bit annoyed at her own embarrassment. What do I care if he thinks I'm beautiful...
She glanced at Etoile and Tala, unfamiliar with their game and thus not very eager to join it. But since she didn't know what else she should do, she stayed on Dengeki's head and lay on her stomach in his hair, just waiting for things to happen.

"Uhm, guys? I seriously think that this is just a power outage. I think if we calm down and wait it out, we'll be back to normal in no time."
Finnick turned to face the boy, nodding. "If something that big was happening, we would of had some kind of warning. Or at the very least, we should of at least heard of something going on. Stuff like that doesn't happen in complete secrecy, someone would of gotten some kind of tip," He said, as they almost always had some sort of intelligence on large scale attacks.
"Anyone up for a round of Telarian Speed?"
At this, Milo-Lee also spun around to face the glowing brother and sister. "Love to," She smiled, tugging her hat over her eyes, "Beats standin' around in the dark,"

"Heck YEAH!"
The green-haired girl pumped a fist as she drew a deck of space-related cards out of seemingly nowhere, flipping them between her hands and smirking at the group around her while the tip of her tail flicked excitedly. "Me and Etoile on a team!"
The boy lifted an eyebrow at her. "We've been playing this game since we were children. You know we'll win if we play together."
"Yeah, duh, that's why I said it."
"Uh, no." Etoile grinned at Milo-Lee, folding his arms while his antennae drooped lower into his face. "You're on my team, okay? Tala can play with fish-boy and we'll see who's truly good."
"Ohhhh," Tala smirked, lifting her hands and jerking her fingers inward. "Bring it on, Glowstick, bring it on. I hope you don't mind those being your last words, because we're going to bury you."

*posts sneakily, before going to bed* >w>

"I don't think I'm very hard to miss when it's dark, though..." the young teen chuckled merrily as he was being picked up and put atop Jazlyn's head. He was so accostumed to this behaviour that it hardly even fazed him when it happened. "I think I'm easier to spot in the darkness than I am in the light." He crossed his legs and settled down, as if he might as well could have been sitting an armchair.
Masurao continued to observe the happenings aroudn him in the dark, mne twitching as many aliens called out to each other, confirming that the chance there was an immediate threat was very unlikely. "Yeah, it makes sense." Nebulos added to the others' opinions, flashing his antennae lightly. "They did increase the Global Defense System after that incident with the Royal Sector. And I think the alarms have an emergency back-up system, too. So if there were any intruders, we were bound to have heard them by now." The guard, however, did not seem entirely convinced. It was more in his nature not to take anything for granted unless he'd seen some proof with his own green eyes. However, he did allow his attention to shift and settle down upon the Telarian siblings when the female part of the two called out to play a game. An eyebrow was lifted. Princess Niji had informed him of the game from Etoile and Tala's homeplanet, and she had seemed to enjoy it quite a lot. He hadn't gotten a chance to behold the game itself yet, but from what Niji had told, it seemed to require a great deal of focus and quick reflexes. Words which caught Masurao's interest, though it only showed -as everything- very midly.
"I want to watch!" a voice from the darkness called out. A moving light identified the voice as Nebulos, who was moving over to the crowd. Being the size he was, the Luminarian boy had it a bit harder to handle the cards than the aliens taller than him. Despite his swiftness, he almost had to run down his row of cards in order to see if he had a match with anyone else and he had decided to forfeit, as the game tired him out a lot more than it should. But regardless of his inability to play, Nebulos still found joy in watching the his friends move the cards so quickly and it riled him up almost as much as the players themselves. It wasn't surprising, as he was a person who found joy in pretty much everything he did.

"Yeah, and a few years ago, I didn't have coverage because an asteroid hit the satellite that connected our phones." Dengeki frowned, before changing his expression to a rather shocked one, as a small alien crawled up beneath his shirt.
"Maybe we're being invaded by other aliens!" Tala said in a fit of excitement.
"Our alarms would have gone off before the power went out. And I think we would have been attacked by now." Etoile replied calmly, bumping his shoulder against hers.
"Our headquarters are being sucked into a black hole!"
"Doubt it."
"Do YOU have a better idea?" Tala raised an eyebrow and asked in a soft tone.
"Yeah." Etoile faced the group and lifted a hand, trying to call attention to his smaller frame. "Uhm, guys? I seriously think that this is just a power outage. I think if we calm down and wait it out, we'll be back to normal in no time."
"Anyone up for a round of Telarian Speed?" Tala deftly stepped onto his foot, and then beamed at the group.
"I'm good, you guys go ahead....I'll just go check the electricity room...." Jazlyn mumbled and waved a hand. "Epsylux?"
"Coming, Mistress." Epsylux floated down from her comfortable position on the ceiling, and floated next to Jazlyn.
"Oh and Nebulos, do you want to play with the others or come with me? I gotta take you off my head and place you on someone else's if you're not coming along, y' know." Jazlyn looked up slightly, careful not to tilt her head too much and cause the little dark-blue glowy alien atop her to tumble onto the floor.
