Niji twirled the necklace around her neck nervously, feeling a nervous light blue blush creep along her cheeks tickling her different colored freckles. Thoughts of Numbuh Infinity floated in her mind, intensifying her blush and the amount of butterflies she felt fluttering in her stomach. Was he going to ask her? Wait, why should she have to wait? Why not ask him to go with her? That was normal right? There wasn't a rule that said that she couldn't... But then she had another problem to deal with... She bit her lip and shifted so that she sat on her knees facing the back of the couch, and could sneak a peek at the wolfish boy staring out of the window, with an uninterested expression. She sighed. She would never have the chance to ask Infinity to the dance with Masurao staring him down... She groaned softly sinking back into the sofa, holding the flower shaped pendant in the palm of her hand, and tracing the colorful jewel with a finger.
What am I going to do now? She wondered.

Etoile had known seen that Nalo looked tired, but now he watched her tiredly wave a hand at her collar that didn't even do much. Apparently she was much more exhausted than he'd realized. Why was she still standing?
Stooping over slightly, Etoile suddenly hooked his arms behind her legs and scooped her up into his arms, carrying her over to the couch without allowing the girl a chance to protest. Once he'd carefully settled them on the seat, with his arms now winding around her waist, he beamed hopefully and asked, "Better?"
Tala had clambered back up onto the couch and watched her brother carry the girl over with a secretive smile. Yup, she could think of one pink-eyed girl that was definitely missing out. Part of Tala wanted to be the mischievous little sister and ruin the moment, but she figured she would have plenty of opportunities to do that, and Nalo looked exhausted. So she went to go find her second-favorite target.
"Oi, fluffy!" she piped, leaning against the wall next to Masurao with her infamous I'm-not-being-serious-right-now grin. "So, are you a dancer?"

Suddenly swept from her feet, Nalo's arms were quick to wrap around Etoile's neck. instinctively holding herself close. Even when they had stopped moving, it took her a few moments to let go again, and then her hands remained near his shoulders.
"Better?"
It seemed to take her barely functioning mind a few moments to process the simple word, but when it did she sent him an affectionate gaze, confirming without even nodding her head, before trying to straighten her collar again. She did at least manage it this time.

"Good morning, Nalo." Lunira spoke to the girl as she walked in, looking very tired and then suddenly surprised by a tackle-hug. She stepped a little ways towards the side, so as to give room, especially when Cyril flew about the room, landing on Etoile's head.
As the others began talking about who was going with who, Lunira looked over towards the couch where Nebulos sat. It seemed that he had heard about it too since he was now talking to Chaosky. She bit her lip a little bit before walking on over.
There's nothing wrong with making the first move, right? He seemed excited about it, so why was she suddenly acting shy?
More and more questions rose into her head as she climbed onto the soft couch. Just when she was about to say something to the boy, she noticed Niji looking a bit...sad.
"Niji? What's wrong?" She climbed onto the back-part of the couch and walked over until she was able to jump onto the girl's shoulder and sit down.

Niji felt a light pressure on her shoulder, and her eyes shifted to her small panda-like friend.
"Good Morning Lunira." She said politely as she tried to smile, but doing that was trying to remove all the color from the universe. Impossible. She sighed quietly, not wanting to alarm Lunira. She hoped she didn't notice her less than positive demeanor.
Unfortunately she did. "Niji? What's wrong?" Lunira asked concerned.
"What's wrong?" The Princess echoed as if the question was in a foreign language. "Nothing's wrong?" She denied shaking her head for emphasis. "I'm fine, what would give you the idea...that..." She decided to drop the charade, who was she fooling anyway? Lunira was a smart girl after all. She sighed yet again, "...Okay, there might be a little bit of a problem..." She began, "...I-I'm...I don't think I'm going to the dance..." She said, her shoulders drooping a bit. "I would ask Infinity, but considering the circumstances...That'll just be..." She paused searching for a proper word, "A-awkward for the both of us." She glanced sideways.

Lunira gave a little scruntinized look at the colorful girl when she tried to say there wasn't anything wrong, but then the wary frown turned into that of a shocked expression.
"...Okay, there might be a little bit of a problem..." She began, "...I-I'm...I don't think I'm going to the dance..." That came to Lunira as a bit of a shock. As far as she had known the Princess, she loved to dance. Heck, she was even on the cheerleader squad for their sector! What in the Milky Way Galaxy would make her decide on not going.
But before the little panda-esque alien could ask, Niji continued on.
"I would ask Infinity, but considering the circumstances...That'll just be..." She paused searching for a proper word, "A-awkward for the both of us." She glanced sideways.
Lunira went back to her small frown, only this time it was in thought. "But, I'm sure Infinity would go with you. You know he would--" That was when it dawned on her. Her eyes casted a glance over at the wolfish alien that stood over in the corner, keeping his own cool attitude around him.
She figured that by 'awkard', the Princess meant that with her loyal bodyguard would be around watching. Lunira nodded in understanding, an image of Niji and Infinity dancing with Masurao watching every second at the two off to the side, made her shiver a little.
She titled her head to the side as she went deeper in thought. Maybe the protective bodyguard wouldn't be looming over Niji if he was dancing as well? Then, another image appeared with Niji, Infinity, and Masurao all dancing together very awkardly. She giggled a little at the thought of it, she'd never seen three people try dancing with each other.
That would be pretty silly.Unless...She thought to herself and then an idea popped into her head. A small bearish-like smile soon appeared on her face once she came up with it.
"Why don't you ask Masurao if he'd go to the dance with someone? That way, he'd be preoccupied with his own date, but he could still keep an eye on you?"

Chaosky watched the reactions go about as aliens asked their friends and loved ones for the trip to the dance. He knew he wasn't going to be asked and this didn't bother him so much as he walked around, listening to the conversations of others and laughing at the fun they'd have.
The little alien watched them while thinking what he would wear and maybe.... if someone... would ask him....

"They are going to hold a DANCE!"
Though his eyes were still hidden beneath his dark-blue lids, one eyebrow was cast to the ceiling. Masurao's face remained blank as ever, revealing no opinion on this news whatsoever. Though anyone a little more acquainted to the wolfboy, would probably guess he did not consider this 'the best news ever'. Which, at any rate, was probably an expression Masurao would hardly use. His wild mane trilled lightly when he heard the other operatives interact excitedly with one another, obviously more enthusiastic about this news than he was. But it didn't bother him. In any case, he was glad for them that they enjoyed the idea of this festive occasion. He, on the other hand, just remained dispassionate about it. So instead, the guard shifted a bit, adjusting his position on the windowsill, and continued to sit there meditatively. Only for a short while, however.
"Oi, fluffy!"
Almost automatically, one of his eyes twitched slightly and he tilted his head to the side, his gaze still hidden. Judging from the rustling at his side, he concluded Tala was now standing right there. He didn't respond, knowing she probably didn't expect him to either.
"So, are you a dancer?"
One eyelid opened now, revealing a circle of deep-green. It found the presence of the girl with the same-coloured hair, beaming at him on his right. He recognized the expression and his other eye opened now, too, along with the rest of his head turning in the girl's direction. He stared at her for a bit, expression contrastingly serious and unchanging, as if he was estimating her or checking for possible tricks. When he was done with this, his eyes hid themselves from view again and he tilted his head to the side lightly. "I'll let you take one good guess..." he replied monotonely, folding his arms across his chest again and resting his head back against the wall, resuming his earlier position as if nothing had just happened.
Nebulos, meanwhile, had blinked a few times as Chaosky explained what the 'best news ever' was. After a few minutes, he unknowingly shared thoughts similar to Lunira. A few years ago, Numbuh One had introduced them to an Earth holiday, which was celebrated somewhere in February. He couldn't recall the name right away. It had been on that occasion that the teenz had decided to organize a scheme and kidnap the kids at the Royal Sector to throw them all into a black hole. Remembering this, Nebulos frowned a bit and stared down at the characters in his comic book, though not really registering they were there. But surely, he thought, his face immediately brightening at the idea, they wouldn't be as foolish to try the same plan again, seeing as how it had been easily foiled years ago. Thoughtfully, the blue youth's gaze shifted from his book to the armrest of the sofa. Another thought had hit him, and this one involved his Ursaminorian friend. She had been his date last time, he realized, his cheeks tinting softly purple. He couldn't remember how he had asked her out back then, but for some reason it seemed to have gone incredibly smooth, something that seemed very unlikely if he were to ask her now.
Demurely, Nebulos glanced to the side to seek Lunira, and his eyes widened in surprise when he saw she was making her way over to him. His blush intensifying, Nebulos raised the comic book over his violet face, his antennae peeking out behind the cover. He was sure he was shaking a bit when she climbed up on the couch next to him. A silly thing to do, he knew, because he was hardly ever shy around her. This whole dance situation seemed to make things a lot more complicated for some reason. Nervously wrinkling the paper in his little fists, the teen peered around the edge of his book, venturing a look at his friend. When he saw her, his flustered face turned into one of mild confusion when he noticed she wasn't looking at him, but at Niji instead. Blinking his opal eyes a few times, he withdrew the comic from his face and watched after her as she leapt off the couch and went over to their colourful friend. His questions as to why that was were soon answered when he saw the upset look on Niji's face, but he couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. Realizing this, he blushed more and felt a bit embarrassed, and decided to his his face behind his book again. He glanced over to Niji again, upon whose shoulder Lunira now sat. He wondered if he had to walk over too, to make sure his friend was alright, but for some reason his male intuition was telling him that it was a "girl thing". Which wasn't really his area of expertize. So instead, Nebulos turned back his story, though having a harder time to concentrate. Well, there was still five days to go. Surely, he had to find one ideal moment to get a chance to ask her.

Hahaha, for some reason, I think Masurao would be a great dancer XD Subconsciously, probably XD He has skilled footwork!

"I'll let you take one good guess..."
Tala had been expecting a dry remark similar to that, and she was not let down. She nodded wisely, as though she had known this all along and had simply wanted to hear it from his own mouth. Her shoulders lifted slightly and then dropped back down, her head rolling back against the wall. "Don't worry, I'm not, either."
"Liar."
Her orange eyes short to glare at Etoile, who was still relaxing on the couch with his arms loosely around Nalo. He lifted an auburn brow at her, his lips pulling into a smirk. "You are such a liar, Tala. You know very well that you can dance."
"Cannot." She didn't consider what she did dancing. "Dancing" was two people swinging around and being all cute and romantic. No, Tala didn't do that.
"I guess you're right," Etoile mulled, his eyes glinting slightly. "I mean, you aren't even very good at what you do, either. . ."
The girl immediately looked offended, standing upright and pointing a finger at him. "Hey, you shut up! I can dance my way just fine!"
"Nah." Etoile's voice was too, too innocent. "I guess you're right; you're not a dancer."
The girl stared at him indignantly, her mouth pulling into a tight, bloodless line. Suddenly she swung her arms around, preforming a tricky step with her feet, and flipped, landing on the floor in a perfect split in perfect imitation of an Earth breakdancer. Her smile was arrogant as she shot a look at Etoile, but she was surprised to find him grinning.
"See? Liar."
She'd been tricked into proving herself a liar. The girl considered a few ways of strangling him, but decided against it, taking the opportunity to stretch while she was still in her split.

A small huff uttered from his throat, which might as well could have been a laugh in disguise as Tala entrusted him with the information about her own skills. "I don't worry," Masurao replied blankly, his posture a statue, save his tail which was draped down the windowsill loosely and was swaying from left to right like a metronome. "I don't deem it very important."
Almost in sync, both he and Tala looked over at the latter's brother when he said something, though Masurao's gaze was a lot less heated than that of the girl, and looked more inquiring instead. He didn't question the boy why he called her this, expecting that things would explain themselves in just a matter of seconds. So instead, he closes his eyes again and lifted his head to the side, waiting for the scene to unfold. Which it did. His navy-blue mane twitched lightly when focusing upon the siblings' argument. He had a fair idea where Etoile was going with this and it amused him, though none of that showed through his stoic posterior. He recognized the tactic the red-haired boy was using and he knew it was clever and that it would lead to results soon. And it did. Both eyes opened again and his verdant gaze shot inside the room once more, one eyebrow curiously lifted as he turned to witness the phenomenon. His eyes trailed the girl as she began to move around, doing a whole set of complicated maneuvers and eventually ended up in a graceful split. Masurao's left eye squinted a little in a mild painful grimace as he witnessed the final move, which was one he could not pull off. And one he wasn't keen on trying either. His green lanterns hid themselves again when a victorious Etoile pointed out his trick to his sister and the wolfboy's shoulder shook ever so subtly, revealing his concealed mirth. "Yes, cheat." he added softly and surprisingly enough less-serious than usual.

OH suuuuuure, start a new RP without me, why don't you? xD Oh well;; I'm joining ~ The door flew open and two boys busted in, one riding on the back of the other. They approached Vibe, the boy on top sliding off the back of his identical brother and wrapping an arm around his purple girlfriend. His normally thingyy tone was replaced with a shy and awkward one. “I assume you’ve already heard about the dance?” Unagi avoided her eyes as he spoke, focusing on the ground before him. “You know, it’s only natural that we go together, right?” He shrugged in an attempt to give off the impression that he wouldn’t be affected by her answer. Meanwhile, Dengeki made his way to Tala, who had just demonstrated her breakdancing skills. “Plan on going to the dance?” he inquired, a smile creeping across his face. “Personally, I find the whole concept stupid.”

Tala made sure to flip Etoile a rude gesture from their planet before turning around to face those who were addressing her, although she refused to get up from her split, bending her torso into ridiculous positions. Females on D'thlany tended to be extremely flexible, and Tala was no exception. Her hair rolled around her while she stretched, letting out sighs of content every few minutes when she stretched a particularly sore muscle.
"I'm not a cheat, Masurao," she said calmly, trying to touch her toes on the leg in front of her. "And it's not fair for use that tidbit of information against me at every given opportunity, is it?"
When Dengeki spoke to her, the corners of her mouth widened. Finally, someone who agreed with her! "Etoile's going to make me go," she told him matter-of-factly, injecting her voice with venom and disgust. "Are you going, even if you find the whole idea of it ridiculous? It's always good to have a partner in cynicism."

In the meantime, Ynda had gone to sit on the back of her sofa. Seeing as she hadn't been approached herself, she watched the aliens that were busy interacting with each other.
She sent a grin at Nebulos and Lunira, amused at the shyness that appeared on her friends's faces ever so often when they were around each other. She rolled her eyes when she saw Etoile trick Tala, as she was usually on Tala's side when the siblings were teasing each other. She ultimately gazed at Dengeki, who had burst into the room along with his brother.
She wasn't sure why, but she felt an automate blush cross her face at the mere sight of the aquatic alien. Embarrassed, she looked away from him, and figured she was going to go to the dance on her own, like Tala. She then realized she was practically moping for no reason and shook her head, quickly regaining her grumpy frown.
Ynda felt annoyed at her own fondness of this dance in the first place, seeing as she didn't think it suited a tough girl like her to like such sappy occasions. Perhaps she had to think twice about going before she'd make a fool out of herself.

Chaosky observed some more before giving up on trying to tell them more about the dance and what was going to happen at it. Afterall, Chaosky was a bit of a dancer, not quite skilled or not, but on his home planet, he was considered decent for his age. However, dancing upon his planet is to much surprise horrible in general. Dancing has a new definition on his planet as well as dance. A Dance on his planet was a festival in which the lead aliens would freeze the room and preform miraculous feats with a partner of their choosing.

Suddenly enveloped by Unagi, Vibe peered round at the boy, and noticed his casual attitude to the situation. "Well, you know, like I told Cyril I am going to be fully booked that night... but I think I can find room for a dance or two with you," she confirmed, flashing him a wide smile, her teeth just peeking out from behind her lips.
"DEKKIIIII!" Cyril collided with the aquatic boy's head. "Dekki will you go to the dance with me?" he squawked hopefully, prompting Vibe to remind him that he already had a dance with her. On the couch, Nalo pressed one ear against Etoile's chest and found a cushion with a limb, which she held over her other ear. She was trying to go back to sleep, but with all the commotion around her it was a little difficult.
