"No no no, you're doing it all wrong... You wanna build up power for a bit and then attack."
Milo-Lee snorted a little at the comment. "I know what I'm doin'," She said, blowing a couple of tuffs of hair out of her eyes. However, the game was now announcing that Finnick had won. "Hmph," Her ear twitched a little beneath her hat. The girl glanced over at Vibe to say something, but she was now talking to Unagi, so she quickly restart the game, "Best two out of three," She said, turning to Finnick with a challenging smile.

When Ynda heard Cyril ask someone to the dance again, she shot him a look, although she wasn't really annoyed.
"You're supposed to ask just one person, Pigeon!" she yelled at him as a not so friendly reminder, but at least she didn't sound actually angry. She was rarely bugged by his hyper behavior.

"You're supposed to ask just one person, Pigeon!"
Chaosky blinked at this and glanced over at what was saying the words. His tail twitched when he saw who it was, the little alien who helped him with his books. He couldn't help but wonder what was going on or anything but he seemed curious to see how she had done the past few days since they met. He moved over to her quietly and snuck behind the couch, tapping her with his tail, "I remember you!!" He said joyfully as ever, "You helped me!!" He whispered to her.

Hearing a familiar voice and turning around to locate the source, Cyril smiled at the sight of the girl he knew all too well. "Yndaaaa! Wanna go to the dance with me?" was the ironic response to her yell.

Ynda felt she started to blush again when Cyril asked her that question, but she soon realized he was just being his typical self. She shook her head for a moment, laying a paw on her face.
"You're already going with Vibe, you lunatic!" she answered, but she couldn't help but smile, as Cyril managed at times to influence her in a positive way.
Her smile quickly faded when she was suddenly tapped, it making her jump slightly. She turned to glare at Chaosky and snapped: "What of it?" She sure hoped he remembered her request (or rather, order) not to tell anyone she'd helped him pick up his big, heavy books once.

He remembered to keep it quiet, thus the whisper... but couldn't help but ask her how she has been doing and what has been going on. Seeing as Vibe and Her were the only ones he knew well, he felt it best to respond most often to those he knew...
"You helped me!!" He whispered again, "Do you remember me? ^^?"

"Are you going, even if you find the whole idea of it ridiculous? It's always good to have a partner in cynicism."
Dengeki’s smile widened as he replied, speaking with a thingyy tone. “Well, as much as I don’t want to, Unagi plans on bringing me. And I can’t deny that I look good in a suit.” He gave Tala a wink, showing through a gap in his hair that formed when he turned his head towards her.
Suddenly, his attention was drawn to the bird that had pummeled into him, requesting him as a date to the dance. A teal blush formed on his face as he struggled to find an answer. “I…uhm….”, He began, only to be interrupted by Cyril’s sudden absence. He turned his head to see where he had vanished off to, noticing Ynda as his next target. A quick thought came across his mind to ask the stubborn girl to the dance with him, and as quickly as it came, the idea vanished and he turned back to Tala.
“Hey, since we both despise this dance idea, you wanna go with me? Like as homies?” Dengeki’s speech was rushed and quiet, as he didn’t want Ynda to hear his request.
"Well, you know, like I told Cyril I am going to be fully booked that night... but I think I can find room for a dance or two with you,"
Unagi’s expression immediately drooped and a whine escaped his lips. “But Viiiiiiiiiiiiiibe, I’m your boyfriend! We should at least go together.”

Ynda simply rolled her eyes at Chaosky, disinterested in starting a conversation with him.
"How could I forget?" she muttered, looking ahead of her again - and realizing Dengeki was looking straight in her direction. Even though his eyes weren't invisible, she could sense he was looking at her.
She felt her blush return and felt relieved when the other alien looked back at Tala, ignoring the slight disappointment that started to bother her. She didn't hear what Dengeki said to Tala, but she still wished he'd talk to her as well. Inwardly scolding herself, she focused on Cyril instead in order to distract herself.

No response and the noise in the room covered what she was mumbling to herself about him. He was not used to the silent treatment so he felt strange letting it continue to go silent. He thought long and hard about it for a minute before walking in front of her.
It was a common trait of his to be polite to any girl he knew and to treat them all as even as possible, even if he was a bit of a child still. He looked at the girl, as his nerves started to get the best of him... the words boggled around his mind and he froze, staring at her in some creepy fashion. He wanted to ask out of courtesy but her cold behaviour froze him in a state of desire and threat.
---
Seconds later he snapped out of it and noticed some aliens he never met before playing on a video game system of sorts. It tottally got to him and made him dazed in the beauty of the games. Moments later he was over by them, watching them playing the videogames, "Cooool! What are you playing?" He smiled and looked over at the controllers, then the TV again.

“Hey, since we both despise this dance idea, you wanna go with me? Like as homies?”
By this point, the green-haired girl was in the most painful-looking position yet, having hooked both of her legs around the back of her head while balancing on two stretched out palms. It was relaxing to her, especially with all of this dance commotion going on around her that was threatening to heighten her tension levels.
But when he asked that, she wobbled to the side slightly, taken by surprise. With a little deftness, she was able to stabilize herself, but that didn't stop her from looking up at him with wide eyes that checked to see if he was joking or not. She had fully intended to go to the dance single and she had been perfectly fine with that. . . she hadn't even considered the idea of going with someone just as homies.
"You mean, like bros?" she questioned, her eyes suddenly dancing. Having the mischievous Dengeki as her date to the dance sounded much more interesting than anything else. "Yeah, dude, of course I do!"
Her eyes flashed over to Etoile, who looked over instantly, almost has if he could feel her eyes on him. His head tilted slightly to the side, a silent request to save a dance for him. Tala had already known and was already planning on putting at least one dance aside for her brother. And probably Cyril, as well, since he seemed to like having multiple dance partners.
"I'll try to look my very best," Tala grinned, swinging her gaze back up to Dengeki. "I can't just let you outshine me, can I?" Truth be told, she didn't have a lot of clothes that would work for such an occasion. That could be a problem.
Etoile settled back in the couch, satisfied with the day's events, when he noticed that the girl currently occupying his chest was trying to sleep. He felt a little bad for her, especially in the loud room, and one of his hands began to trace light pattens on her back, slightly trailing webs of movement across the fabric of her shirt with his fingers. "U'tha ni'eiyee bn'e ca'wra, myn thr'rin," he whispered to her in his native tongue. "Myn thr'rin" had become his favorite phrase for her. "Yai'ano van'en thril voca nai."
Try to sleep, my beloved. I will stay still so you may rest.

Her body shifted, contorting very slightly in response to the delicate sensations on her back. Weary eyelids fluttered open at the sound of the familiar voice, and they remained open as she listened to his words, her golden irises narrowing in response to the light suddenly being thrust upon them. A small smile crept onto her features as she settled down again, two symmetrical tendrils sneaking out and looping around Etoile's torso below her, attaching her to him.
As Cyril sat atop the back of a couch in the middle of the room, he looked around at the others and realised the only confirmed dance he had was with Vibe. But he also quickly realised that people got tired, and he could just swoop in and steal the dancers that were still going by the end of the night.
"Alright alright," Vibe gave into his boyfriend's pleas. "You know I'm just teasing anyway," she added, playing swatting at him with the back of her hand. Pulling herself up into and upright position, she surprised Unagi by giving him an enthusiastic bear hug. "Good morning, hun," she murmured into his ear, only her curvacious smile visible on her face, as the rest of it was covered by her fringe.

“You know, if you need help with an outfit, I’m sure Unagi can help you,” Dengeki stated, satisfied that he had a date, even if it wasn’t romantic. He was half joking, though his almost metrosexual brother could be capable of creating a fancy garment for her. “But more importantly,” He immediately changed the subject, “We’ll be able to wreck havoc among the real couples,” With that sentence, his gaze flashed from Etoile and Nalo to Vibe and Unagi and then back to Tala.
“And not only that,” he continued, a mischievous tone lying under his voice, “We’ll also command the attention of everyone on the dance floor.” Dengeki knew that he was getting way too excited for this, but he couldn’t help it. Having Tala as a date not only ensured him of having a good time, but he would also succeed in making Ynda jealous. He looked back over to her, hoping to catch her scowling eyes and waved innocently. Then, turning back to Tala yet again, he spoke, this time with a gentle hint in his voice.
“Though, I do have to save a dance for her.”
At Vibe’s agreement to attend the dance with him, Unagi smiled softly, relieved that he still had the affections of the cold girl. Before he could talk, he was caught off guard by her hug, uttering an unintentional “Oh,” in the process. After regaining his composure, he allowed his bright tail wrap around her as he pulled her into a quick kiss. “Good morning to you too,” he replied, regaining his confidence quickly.

"Why don't you ask Masurao if he'd go to the dance with someone? That way, he'd be preoccupied with his own date, but he could still keep an eye on you?"
Niji considered her small friends suggestion. Would that really work? Masurao didn't strike her as a romance kind of guy. She noticed that many of the girls on the base admired him, apparently, they were into the "strong silent mysterious" type. But he never really gave much interest in them. Maybe he just hasn't found the right girl? She sighed, guys could be so hard to read sometimes. But Lunira's suggestion was worth a shot.
" I'm going to try that, Lunira. Thanks Luni!" She smiled, hugging the panda like girl, feeling a bit better about the situation, maybe there was hope after all. "Now, that we've settled that problem at least for the moment. It's on to the next delimma...What to wear to the dance?" She gently placed Lunira down on the couch, "Now that you've helped me with my problem, I think somebody wants your attention..." She winked at the girl in ribbons, while simultaneous nodding toward Nebulos, who's cheeks were a light violet. She giggled before floating off the sofa and out of the main room.
Upon entering her spacious room, she headed straight for her closet. It wasn't a large by her standards, but it'll do. She presed the button opening the double doors, and walked inside, inspecting the many stylish outfits and accessories on the racks and shelves. "Hm, what to wear? What to wear?"

The more Dengeki spoke, the more Tala could feel her excitement building. This was it! The one thing that could have happened that would make the dance bearable! A non-romantic date that also has an interest in playing games with their surroundings! Yes, Tala J'nani Ganmade was satisfied.
"Oh, of course," she agreed, sending a sideways glance at her brother, who was nestled snugly against his girlfriend while the girl tried to sleep. Ohhh, it would be fun.
She glanced back up at Dengeki with a grin. "Etoile will probably steal a dance from me, too. I'm chill with whoever you want to dance with as long as I get at least one." She already knew that she wanted to claim a few people for dances, but mostly it was Etoile, although she decided she wouldn't say that out loud. It just wouldn't feel like a dance without one with her brother.
"As for the dress," she continued, rolling suddenly onto her back and bending her legs over herself to planet her feet onto the floor, "thanks for the offer, but I can manage. Most of my closet involves pants, but not all of it."
While a couple of Nalo's silvery tendrils snaked around Etoile's waist, he came to realize that sleep. . . sleep sounded good. He let his cheek fall against her thick black hair and closed his own eyes while his fingers continued to weave stories on Nalo's back like ice-skaters on a pool of blue.

To her surprise, Ynda watched Cyril take her example of sitting on the back of a couch alone. She wasn't used to seeing him on his own, and the idea that crossed her mind quickly made her fond of going to the dance after all. It didn't matter much what others thought of her attending it; they were all in this together.
She quickly made her way over to him and climbed on the couch, sitting next to her friend and wrapping an arm around his shoulders. Was she lucky to find him only a little taller than herself.
"Hey, if you want to, we can dance," Ynda suggested with a grin. She was distracted by a sudden movement in the corner of her eye and turned to see Dengeki wave at her. She blinked in confusion and waited for him to do anything else, but when he just turned away like before, she grew annoyed.
"What?" she snapped aloud, not realizing he was talking about her.
