(Aww, I hope you feel better Jas!! *glomps gently* Get plenty of rest. ----- Niji looked at the window with a shudder, the storm itself wasn't the disturbing part, as it did tend to shower quite often on her planet, rather it was the headquarters that gave bad vibes. "Ah, doesn't this place just scream 'home'?" She asked sarcastically, trying to lighten the mood, and keep her own uneasiness at bay. A crack of unexpected thunder caused the girl to jump a bit. Be calm, my friends. A team bonded and prepared can face any challenge given to them.At the sound of the voice Niji looked around to find a person that obviously wasn't there. She recognized it, it was the voice of the White Lady. She forgotten how nice and warm it sounded, almost motherly and kind. Her soft voice did more to lift her spirits and hopes more than her little joke ever could. 'A team bonded and prepared can face any challenge given to them' Niji's eyes drifted over to her friends, and smiled, "She's right..." "We've survived asteroids... We can handle this." She heard Etolie whisper softly. She nodded in silent agreement, and saw a flash of lightning. "I think we'd better land soon. We don't want to get caught in the storm that's approaching."

(*pokes*...did this die?)
Meanwhile, back on the base, a young girl was running around with some papers in hand. She wore no shoes, which helped in giving her some better footing to run a little quicker as she rounded the corner.
"Can't be late. Can't be late. Can't be late--ah!"
Just as she had taken about five footsteps into the next hallway, she collided into another alien. This one, who would be of normal height, towered over her slightly.
"Hey, Janors. Watch where you're going, all right?" He hardly gained a scratch from the collision, let alone actually falling backwards like the girl did. She stood back up, shuffling the papers as she did so before twirling her two tails.
"Yeah, yeah, I gotcha." She replied to him, as her tails soon began to spin faster and faster until they melted into a whirling circle and soon she was up in the air. Zoelin, or 'Janors' as she was called, was trying to make her way towards the offices of the Galatic base. The papers she held in her hand were reports of a weapon they had recently made...and she, being the one to try it out and take it apart, was asked to bring the paperwork that followed it.
By asked, they meant 'get your keister here ASA-now', and by paperwork, they meant 'reasons as to why did you take the cruddy thing apart in the first place'.
All Zoelin could think of was that the weapon was shiny...and deadly.

Blue eyes looked nervously around as Etoile thought about the fact that they were edging closer to the dangerous-looking planet. It seemed as though an eerie silence had taken over most of the ship, and no one was willing to break it for fear of turning this monstrous nightmare into a reality.
But it was a reality, simple as that.
Etoile realized with a start that no matter how long they stared at it, no matter what kind of hesitancy they had while facing the planet, the fact remained that they were going to have to land on it eventually. And the sooner they did that, the better, or else fear would take them over completely, one by one, until they were paralyzed with it, eaten away with it.
With a sudden movement, the boy turned around, releasing his grasp of Tala and Nalo and facing the group in general. His sister looked after him with a concerned glance, wondering what the boy's purpose was in his sudden movement. No doubt she was entertaining the first thoughts, mulling over the idea that he might be running away. She just loved him like that.
"I think we'd better land soon. We don't want to get caught in the storm that's approaching." Niji's voice piped up from somewhere to Etoile's side, and he appreciated her silently for saying that. It was the push they needed to go into action.
"Who's piloting?" he asked aloud, lifting his voice to make sure that everyone could hear. "She's right. We should find a place to land the ship as soon as we can, to get out of the storm and to keep from being detected."
Tala, although still trembling with terror, joined her voice in his. "A secure place, where the ship is hidden."
"Then we can scout out ways to get into the building without our presence being made known," Etoile added, looking relieved to have Tala's opinion backing up his.
"Etoile, Niji, and I can protect the shield from the storm while we go in closer!" The fact that she had come up with this idea seemed to excite Tala, and she glanced over at Niji with a hopeful expression. "Right?"
The siblings, it seemed, had taken it upon themselves to try to boost the moral of the group. The real question was if it would work.

Nalo turned only her head to look at Etoile when he let go, her eyes flashing with fear, and shimmering as tears suddenly formed on her lower eyelids, although they were hastily swept away by the back of her wrist.
"Finnick's piloting," Vibe mentioned in reference to Etoile's earlier question, having walked over and caught wind of the conversation, although the bird atop her head was squawking something about how he should pilot, obviously being the better pilot. Not that it really mattered whether he was better or not; the important thing was landing, safely.
Glancing around at the others, then back out at the view through the window, Nalo couldn't help but feel like she was going to be as useless on this mission as she was during the asteroid saga. But then again, she hadn't left the ship at any point; maybe her calling was out there, down where the darkness swallowed you whole. But that didn't give her enough extra motivation to land down there and find out, so she was rather glad that some of the other aliens were trying to boost morale.

Niji was relieved when Etolie and Tala contributed their opinons on her suggestion. It helped her take her mind off the impending world of darkness they were about to face...
"Etoile, Niji, and I can protect the shield from the storm while we go in closer!" Tala's voice exclaimed enthusiastically. Niji turned her head to meet Tala's hopeful expression, "Right?"
The Princess bobbed her head. "Right." She confirmed, clenching her fists with new found determination, "Of course..." The sound of light rain drops on the window caused her to divert her attention from Tala. "Oh, dear...Rain..." She muttered, turning back to the brother and sister. "Guys I think we'd better go do this now, okay?"

Along with Nalo, Nebulos turned his head as well, perched atop her shoulder still. He blinked his eyes a few times, listening to the conversation that was held and the decisions that were being made. Through them, he remained silent, not unlike the girl who's head he was sitting next to. He observed them, having to look down as he was at an unusual height for someone his size and the more he listened to them, the more the gloomy atmosphere in the room began to lift. A small smile began to curl upon the little boy's blue features, the determination of his fellow teammates being quite contagious. The white light from his antennae began to shine a little brighter, as if it was already set on pushing the darkness on the planet they were about to land on away.
"Right, we can do it!" The young boy exclaimed, throwing two hands on the air, while using another to clasp safely around Nalo's tendril around his arm, making sure he didn't fall off. His face was already, literally and figuratively, alight with determination, being sure that they'd do a great job and make the best of this mission they possibly could.
"Yes, better not stall much longer."
The hoarse, composed voice startled Nebulos. Every time Masurao said anything, it might as well could be a gunshot raging through an empty hangar, even though his voice was not loud or aggressive. It was probably the effect of surprise because the reserved guard hardly used the sense of speech. Masurao himself had been -unsurprisingly- quiet while the others conversed, nor had he ever averted his gaze from the eerie scenery in front of him. He had kept staring at the odd planet and it's infrastructures, his eyes dwelling across it, as if he was seeking some kind of answer or solution there.
Now, however, he stoic wolfboy had turned away from the window, directing himself and his physique to the group. His face was -as ever- unreadable. He stood there for a minute and then his head gave a short jerk at the window they'd all been standing in front of previously. "A ship just came flying in. It landed there just a few seconds ago." He might as well could have announced it was going to be sunny tomorrow. He turned back to the window, looking outside it once more, his trained eye glued on the particular spot he'd seen the ship vanish into not so long ago. "There is certainty there is someone present on the location this very moment." The words came out with a certain military professionalism, as if Masurao was surveying some kind of notes of a strategic plan. He kept quiet after having said this, perhaps deciding he'd already spoken quite a lot in the past minute than he usually did.

Luni's ship landed on the planet already, right? That's the ship he was referring to X3;

Yep, it did....dun da duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmn... -------------------------------------------
It had been a few minutes since she landed, though it felt a bit longer as Lunira was staring outside. The ship was still on, however, so it wasn't as if she had to get out at the moment.
"Am I on the wrong planet? It doesn't look like anyone's here." She said softly, still staring at the large building structure. She blinked a few times before looking around, peering around the landscape until she caught sight of the ship over yonder.
Her ears sagged a little in embarrasement. "Oh...how'd I miss that?" She laughed a little before pressing a few buttons to turn the ship off. It wasn't until after the ship's whirrings had died down did she hear the sound of rain.
"It's raining?" Opening a window, she poked her head outside--only to jerk it back in once a few drops fell on her head. "Yep, that's rain all right." ------

"A ship just came flying in. It landed there just a few seconds ago."
The siblings exchanged concerned glanced at Etoile attempted a light shrug, wrapping a loose grip around Tala's wrist and pulling her forward. "We'll need someone to take us down secretly. We'll go surround the ship so that the landing will be smooth."
Tala nodded and the two made their way to the outside of the ship, hoping that Niji would follow and aid them in their task. Creating shields was easy on a small scale, but neither Tala nor Etoile had the confidence to create that large of a shield for the whole ship on their own. They would certainly need her.
Climbing outside of the ship, Tala blinked as rain splattered on her nose and face and helped to pull Etoile out. But something seemed wrong with the rain, and Tala glanced down at her arm where the rain was pelting it lightly. The droplets were leaving dark streaks on her skin, and when she looked up, the falling drops looked dark.
A chill shivered through her. This rain was unnatural.
Quickly, Etoile pulled a small shield over them and turned to the two girls, his hands lighting up brighter and preparing to enshroud the whole ship. "Are you guys ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be," Tala murmured, lighting up her own hands while looking at the dark trails that the rain had left on her with a sense of impending fear.

"A ship just came flying in. It landed there just a few seconds ago."
Niji took a second to digest that information, while trying to locate the ship herself, but with the thickness of the clouds made that task virtually impossible.
"We'll need someone to take us down secretly. We'll go surround the ship so that the landing will be smooth." Etolie informed everyone. Niji nodded in agreement,
"That sounds like a good plan to me." She said. As the three alien children headed outside the ship, Niji noticed the faint expressions of self-doubt the siblings had on their faces. She gazed at the sympathetically, while making force fields and barriers were as easy for her as breathing, she had never done them in the middle of a rainstorm with it's pelting rain, and powerful winds, but regardless of the obstacles that stood in front of them, they had to be strong. A small smile graced her lips. "Don't worry guys, if we work together, everything should be fine. Okay?" As she flew outside of the ship, cold liquid began to dampen her face and hair. When Etolie placed a small shield to cover them from the rain, she turned to him to thank him, but noticed that this rain was not clear, as you'd expect rain to be, instead it was as black as ink, and icy cold. She looked up toward the sky,
What is it with this planet?
"Are you guys ready?" She heard Etolie's voice rang out, his fingers already brightening with a red glow.
"Hmm-hmm!" Niji hummed, her hands glowing with blazing Rainbow Energy. "Lets do this..."

At Niji's affirmation, Etoile nodded, focused, and muttered carefully, "Aaaand. . . shield."
Suddenly a red flux of power began to weave out of his hands, wrapping upward and then spreading out like a blanket over the rockets. The force he was pouring out felt huge, and if he had been forced to cover the whole ship by himself, he wouldn't have lasted long. But he kept a steady stream of scarlet glow streaming outward, oozing through the air to form a bubble around the ship.
Tala was having a bit of a harder time, mostly due to her age and her inexperience in such large tasks. But soon she had a stream of green whipping out to join Etoile's, although hers was smaller and less vivid in light. Slowly her power melded with Etoile's and added to the bubble, creating a clashing, violent contrast of red and green power that kept out the rain and thunder.
It wasn't enough, though, and both siblings looked over and Niji and smiled encouragingly as they slowly protected their ship from harm.
"We're doing good," Etoile murmured, focused on his work. "We just have to keep this up and we'll be just fine."

Niji closed her eyes, holding her palms together, as if she was praying and inhaled deeply in focus. Soon a spherical orb of colors surrounded her, then she spread her arms apart expanding the colorful around the ship. She released the breath she had been holding when she realized that the orb along with Etolie's and Tala's shields were doing a great job at protecting their cherished mode of transportation.
"We're doing good, we just have to keep this up and we'll be fine." Etolie confidently said. Niji nodded, but was startled when a large crack of red lightning flashed inches away from striking the ship. "Wh-whoa!!" She cried shakily as the flash of lightning disappeared. "Th-that was too close..." The howling winds blew against the shields rocking them and the ship slightly, even the rain and wind increased intensely. "Y-you know, it's almost as if this planet doesn't want us here, and is using the storm to get us to turn back..." She shook her head trying to get rid of the ridiculous thought. "I feel sorry for whosoever is down there in the storm..."

Just as Lunira was closing the door, a huge wind started blowing towards her, trying to force the window to stay open.
"Nnnnghh...Stay. Closed!" She pulled on it a couple of times, almost as if she wereplaying tug-o-war with the elements outside. Finally, the Ursaminorian won, managing to pull the window shut quickly as the winds began to die down for a moment.
"Phew." She rubbed her forehead a bit before noticing her paws were still wet. "Huh? I thought that had dried up."
She looked at the water in her paws and her eyes widened. The droplets of rain were still in their form, as if they were frozen but not quite. And most of them were dark in color...almost as black as her hair.
Lunira peered a little closer and swore she saw faces inside the rain-drops....and they weren't friendly either.

Whoa, suspenssseee! X3

"That sounds like a good plan to me." Barely had Niji made a step in the direction of the exit; or the the bodyguard had swiveled around and followed after her, soundlessly. Even if the princess would rather have him out of the way, dismissal was out of order. He was there under her command, but her father had clearly stated that Masurao was in control whenever an issue came along that involved her safety. And he felt like this situation was righteous. Innerly, he doubted if this was such a good plan in the first place and he'd rather suggest that she kept indoors while a plan of action was being prepared. But she was already off, so he did the next best thing he could do. Follow after her and supervise her from outside, making certain that her safety wasn't endangered as she rendered help. He also couldn't help but be mildly curious. He had heard from the Origamian king that their species had the ability to create forcefields, and he had witnessed it from afar, when he and Tala were gaining on Sector SUN's ship. But that had been at a distance, plus they had to make sure their pod wasn't damaged in the asteroid shower. Getting the chance to observe the princess' abilities from a closer look interested him.
Not having the ability to fly, like the three others in front of him did, Masurao needed the use of a ladder to reach the ship's exit. Which he ascended in barely a second, being the climber that he was. Cold air met his furry face when he poked his head out of the hatch in the ship. It was a rather humorous sight, to see Masurao's rather wild and native looking appearance and attire contrast with the high-tech ship's exterior. But he himself didn't seem to find the situation very entertaining. "Your Majesty--" he began, but was caught off when a cold drop of water hit him straight on the nose. His green gaze raised to meet the sky, but found only clouds there. Odd, thick clouds. Not like the ones on Egriada. He frowned a little at them, seeming suspicious, as his mane automatically twitched every time a droplet hit him there. His caution only grew when he held out his hand to catch a few raindrops on his gloved hands. An eyebrow was lifted at them as he looked at the odd phenomenon on his hand. Instead of soaking into his glove, it kept lying there. It was dark and cold and unnatural. It concerned him.
His stern gaze shifted from hand to sky once again when the rain suddenly stopped. The reason why was quite evident, as a large blanket of multicoloured force began to stretch over him and the ship he was standing on. Folding his hand back into a fist, he dropped his hand at his side and turned to face Niji this time, his expression stern and very focused, muscles rather tensed as he stood there.
- -
Inside the ship, meanwhile, little Nebulos had been staring outside the window again, watching how the trio's mixed force slowly began to engulf the ship. It gave him some sort of feeling of security and familiarity. But he couldn't shake of this other feeling he had. He wasn't sure what it was. It was a feeling he got every time he glanced over at the planet they were about to descend to. As unappealing as the eerie place looked, some part of him felt like he needed to be there. He couldn't tell why. Something in him said they had to hurry up. Something was wrong.
Nebulos was a rather sensitive being in general, so he was rather concerned about these emotions. And it possibly showed on his blue features, which were usually adorned with a smile, but right now wasn't. It was odd. He wasn't looking forward to go there, but another part said he needed to get there desperately. Like someone needed rescue. He wondered why.

A shiver shot up and down Tala's spine when she looked out at the planet that they were descending toward. Dark, shadowed, intimidating. . . everything Tala despised. Her intense fear of the darkness only seemed to feel larger and more consuming than ever, threatening to swallow her whole.
The stream of green that was seeping out of her fingers faltered and sputtered in her momentary show of fear. Etoile shot a glance at her and brightened considerably until a red light was reflected off Tala's skin, too, to chase away the darkness that was currently stalking her mind. With a shuddering breath, the green power burst out of Tala again and started swarming upward again, and the siblings exchanged a conversation that took place only in their eyes.
Already, Etoile was feeling the strain of such a large project, and he shifted so that he could shout down into the ship where the others were. "Can we land? I don't know how long the three of us can hold this, we need to find a safe place to go down!"
"I'm scared," Tala murmured, not sure if anyone could hear her. Just saying the words out loud made her feel like a real person again, instead of a phantom that wafted around the this planet's dark surroundings.
Her brother's response came firmly. "We'll be fine." Whether he believed it or not, Tala didn't know. But she appreciated him saying it, anyway.

Eyes stared at even darker ones as she held the drops in her paws. Lunira frowned, wondering whether or not to shake them off and wipe them on her suit or at least flick them back outside.
"...."
It was then that her ears had picked up something.
"Join us..."
"What?" Lunira didn't know if she was hearing things in her head or not, but when the voices had gotten louder, her focus turned to the rain drops.
"Join us..."
She knew her hearing wasn't bad or anything, in fact it was a bit sensitive, but it seemed like the voices were coming from the droplets. Already weirded out by the faces, hearing them speak was giving her even more bad vibes.
"Uh..." Lunira looked around, wondering what to do with them. If she tried putting them back outside, more might end up on her hands. If she tried to wipe them away on her suit, they might not go away...only stay there.
