[[So we pretty much can't do anything in this roleplay until they land, and I think Finnick's piloting. Can Finnick either have them land, or Cyril take over and have them land? ]]

(Okay, Finnick has been booted by Cyril due to inactivity. Also Fernkit, I'm pretty certain you know the answer to that from the other thread you made now?) Having been kicked back into the steering cabin by Vibe, Cyril was forced to perform the difficult task of landing the ship in such poor conditions. But slowly, steadily, with guidance from a few others and the help of the forcefields, he managed it, narrowly avoiding a smaller ship already parked on the ground. Up on the roof of the ship, where the others were defending the ship from anything the planet might throw at them, a figure emerged from one of the hatches on the ship's exterior, a determined grey face peeking out, before the whole body rose, casting golden eyes towards the dark clouds covering the sky, although barely visible from the combination of forcefields protecting the ship. Nalo had decided to join the others up here, despite the dangers of her becoming an alien lightning rod, simply because she had been standing around doing nothing for too long.

(oh noes, Cyril's taking over? aaaaaahhh-- I'm just kidding. Also, I kinda don't want Zoelin to be back at the base all by herself, so I'm just going to have her be with Luni...for company of course (and probably to show her the ropes or something :3) )
The voices kept saying the same two words over and over, which made Lunira's eyes only stare back in response. Never in her life she had heard something like this, but then again she was in the GKND...and on another planet, so who knows what sort of things she would face.
"..." She didn't know what to say back, since she was slightly hoping it was all in her head. When she opened her mouth, trying to speak, another voice interuppted her.
"Did we land yet?"
Lunira turned around, looking away from the creepy dark droplets to see another operative emerge from the back room in the ship. "Uh...who are you?" For as far as the little Ursa knew, she thought she was the only one on the vessel. Numbuh Infinity hadn't mentioned there was someone else here.
"Oh...yeah, that's right. Um.." The girl was taller than her, but she didn't look to be as tall as the other aliens Lunira knew. She might've been in the middle-ranged height. With dark scarlet fur and wavy blond hair that ended just underneath her chin, the strange girl reached into one of her pockets, pulling out a piece of paper.
"Ah, there we go. I'm Numbuh 14-7-2...man, I need to get that memorized." She stuffed the paper back down into her pocket and added with a small grin, "But you can just call me Zoelin."
The smaller panda-like girl only blinked, today was even weirder. First she assigned to a new mission as soon as she came back from home-- not that she was complaining, came onto a new planet that was strange and spooky with raindrops asking her to 'join them' and now a strange alien-girl popping up from the back room.
"That explains why the ship's normal sized," she whispered under her breath. "Um...I'm Lunira. What were you doing back there?"
"Sleeping...I think they don't know I'm gone, but they'll know soon enough. Don't worry, I sent them a message." Lunira had a slight feeling that the girl was winking at her, but she wasn't very sure; the Zoelin's bangs covered right over her eyes. "Hey, what'cha got there?" She asked, coming closer to crouch down.
"Uh...I'm not sure. Hey, do you hear anything from it?" Lunira asked her, holding her cupped paws up for the girl to listen. Zoelin lowered her head with a red ear turned towards it, but she shook her head.
"Not much...there's like, small whining sounds, but that's it....whoa, what the heck?!" Zoelin jumped up, making Lunira look back into her own hands and gasped. The raindrops were starting to morph into each other, making one big puddle...and one larger face.
Immediantly, Lunira threw the dark water down, running backwards as well, and Zoelin scooped her up into her arms. "What's it doing?"
"I have no idea." The two girls watched the little puddle for a moment, before looking at eachother.
"Maybe we should go outside?" Zoelin suggested. Lunira glanced back at the puddle before responding.
"But...it's still raining outside."
"Better out than in." The red-furred girl then placed the smaller one onto her shoulder, before heading towards the door.
Lunira gave an unwary last glance at the puddle, just as the door closed behind them.

*bumps the thread* Bump, bump, bump... ^^ --------------------------
The task wasn't an easy one; the flashing of lightning and the rumbling of thunder made the job of making sure the ship was safe as it slowly and cautiously made it's decent down. The landing was a little bumpy, but eventually the ship landed on the cold dark ground. Niji let out a sigh of relief and waited for someone to give the signal that it was okay for she, Tala and Etolie to drop their barriers. After all they couldn't hold these things up all day.

Once outside, Lunira had noticed that the Zoelin's ears had lowered once in contact with the rainy weather.
"Rain feels weird," she heard the girl mutter.
Lunira tilted her face up to the sky, rain drops falling on her face as she did so. After a few seconds, she shook her head, trying to rid herself of the water before replying. "It feels like normal rain to me."
The whiskite only gave a lop-sided shrug, due to the Ursa being on one of her shoulders. "We don't get much rain on my planet.."
"Oh."
"Hey, do you see that?" Zoelin pointed a red finger towards the distance, towards a bigger ship just landing ahead. Lunira followed the hand's view, seeing the ship which made her raise an eyebrow.
"Er.." It certainly looked like a normal GKND ship, although it seemed to be surrounded by a varied colored barrier. It almost looked like a rainbow, except the colors red and green were more vibrant that the others. The panda-like girl gave a small frown, wondering what could've caused that barrier.
"Anyone you know?" Zoelin asked.
"Well..." she gave a thoughtful look, remembering one person who could make a rainbowy-barrier like that. Her eyes lightened up at the very thought when it came to her. "It could be Niji..."
"Naji?"
"Niji."
"Nemo?" Lunira only blinked, until Zoelin later added, "it's a joke.."
"Oh." She nodded in understanding, though she didn't really get it. "Well, let's go! I haven't seen the others in a while, and I can't wait!" And with that, the two--well, Zoelin with Lunira on her shoulder, took off running.

Through the rain, Niji saw a figure approaching them at a quick speed. It was hard to see through the black rain but as the figure came closer, Niji could see the person's silhouette through the field. Her face broke into an elated and excited smile when she realized who is was. "There's Zoelin and Lunira!" She cried happily.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, slow doooooooooooooown!!!"
"Noooo." Lunira clung to the red-furred girl's shoulder as they made their way across the area, Zoelin not paying heed to the smaller alien's plea. With every step, Lunira was bounced up and down, up and down, while also dangling through the air.
"Why-y-y-y-y- no-o-o-o-o-ooot?"
"Because.." she stopped in her tracks, now with a thoughtful line in place of her smile that seemed to be more common than the others, Lunira had noticed.
"What?"
"Hold on, I'm thinking." Silence passed between the two of them, before the blond girl shook her head. "Naaaaah."
"You're not going to run again, are you?" Lunira asked, regaining her sitting positon on the girl's shoulder as she took this opportunity to climb back on the right way. Her eyes widened a little, already in some anticipation or fear of being thrown off by the sudden speed.
"No. We're already close enough....Hey, look-it...it's Nico!"
Lunira frowned a little, turning her head forward and seeing the Origamian Princess that Zoelin had dubbed, Nico, coming into view as they had gotten closer. Her eyes grew a little brighter as her smile grew even wider.
"HIIII NIJI!" She waved frantically towards the coloful girl, before jumping off of Zoelin's shoulder and running to her. The barrier, which she now realized was being held up by said girl, was still transparent enough for the little Ursa to see. But, her smile faded into a line, now curious as she saw two other figures up on the roof. They looked a bit alike, but at the same time not really.
One had red hair, and the other had green. One was a boy and the other was a girl. Lunira titled her head to the side, wondering who those two could be as she waited for the barrier to be let down.
Zoelin casually caught up to Lunira, taking her time as she walked on up. She let out a light whistle, seeing the varied colors of the rainbow and then some.
"That's one cool ship...Is there a pot of gold at the end of it?" She asked Lunira.

(It's a good idea, but not for this thread, which already has a very specific plot. You'd be better off making a new roleplay.)

[bump=bump Sorry for the double-posting, but...]
Lunira gave the girl another look, still a little curious as to her question about a pot of gold, but she shook her head.
"I don't think so...unless that was another joke, too?"
"The girl's catching on." Zoelin replied, giving a nod. The two stood there in front of the ship that was surrounded. Although the small Ursa had given a wave to one of her friends on board--which at this point was very literal, a response hadn't come back.
Lunira walked back over towards Zoelin, climbing up onto the girl's shoulder without hesitation. The red girl didn't protest, so it must've been fine. Looking up at her, Lunira gave a small shrug.
"Well, what do we do now? I don't think they can hear us..."
"Probably not, due to all of this rain." Zoelin nodded, scratching the back of her head as she did so. The two girls looked back towards the ship, letting only the sounds of the rain come between them. That is, until Lunira caught a glimmer of a grin coming from the whiskite.
"....What are you thinking?"
"I can fly, you know." Zoelin only responded.
"Huh?"
"Just hold on tight, okay?" Lunira did so, still a little bewildered as to what the girl was going on about, but within seconds she heard a whirring sound behind them, coming from Zoelin's tails.
"..." Her eyes widened, wondering if they were going to get tangled or not, but soon they were airborne, and Lunira didn't worry about the tails anymore. Now, she was worried about the girl's flying skills.
"Are you sure this is safe?"
"Positive." Zoelin rose in altitude, flying closer to the ship as they were getting more and more higher, almost to the point where they were almost above it. She flew next to the forcefield, now knocking against it.
"HEEEEEEEEEEY!!!!" She shouted. "Guuuuuys! You can let it down!"
"I don't think you should be knocking against it..." Lunira whispered, wondering how strong the field was.
"What's the worst that could happen?"
Lunira looked from her to the force field and back. So far, nothing had happened, so the Ursa figured, 'why not' and decided she might as well help. "HELLOOOOOOOOO!" She shouted.
