Maan, I haven't posted in a while! It's like I died! Oh well, GERONIMOOOO! ~~
“Hurry up, we’re gonna be late!”
A loud whine was audible in the room belonging to the twins. The boys rushed to find clothes, due to their obvious procrastination. Frantically, Unagi searched through his drawers for the one article of clothing he seemed to be missing: A pair of dark purple skinny jeans. After a few short minutes, the purple-eyed alien gave up and started throwing his top layers of clothes on. A long sleeved purple and black checkered dress shirt, a short-sleeved hoodie of a lighter shade of purple, and a silver vest were all hastily being thrown on by the boy. He looked towards his twin brother, his anxiety showing through his eyes, visible due to his unkempt hair. “Have you seen my pants anywhere?”
Dengeki strode through the room, clad only in a towel, his hair still wet from the shower he had just taken. “Have you checked under your bed?” He started putting his own clothes on, an outfit identical to his brother’s. The only difference between the two sets of clothes was the colours. While Unagi had an outfit consisting of mostly the colour purple, Dengeki’s was full of blues. Dengeki opened the top drawer of his dresser and threw an article of clothing at his frantic mirrored image. “Here, I forgot to tell you I borrowed them.”
“What?! Do you know how much time I wasted looking for them?” More whines escaped Unagi’s lips as he put on the jeans.
“Oh shut up, we’re not that late.” was the dry reply he received. The blue-eyed boy pulled on his own blue jeans and started attaching dark blue suspenders to the belt loops. He then picked up a thick blue checkered belt off of the dresser and fastened it at an angle, hanging off his waist. “How does this look?”
Unagi smiled unintentionally. “You look hot. Now come here.” He held up a blue checkered tie. “You’ll need this.” Dengeki obediently stepped forward, allowing his twin to create an elaborate knot with the tie. When he finished, Unagi handed his brother another tie to be wrapped around his own neck.
“Okay, are we ready now?” Unagi didn’t wait for an answer as he began to walk out of the room.
“Hey, don’t forget this.” Dengeki came up behind him and dropped a large baseball cap over his head.
“Thanks,” Unagi positioned the hat so that it tilted up at an angle and looked at his brother as he did the same. “C’mon, we have ladies waiting for us.”
“No prob. Oh and take this too,” Dengeki reached behind his back and pulled out two beautiful flowers, one purple and one blue. He handed the purple one to his brother and kept the blue one to himself, careful not to tear off petals as they raced through the halls. When they finally came to the group of aliens they were all familiar with, they skidded to a stop, nearly crashing into their dates. Dengeki smiled at Tala, an involuntary blush creeping across his face. Out of universal courtesy, he bowed to her, presenting the blue flower. He straightened back up and kissed her on the cheek. “You look very beautiful tonight. I almost feel unworthy of your presence.” He nonchalantly draped an arm over her shoulders, pulling her close to him. His voice lowered to a whisper, and he brought his lips close to her ear. “I don’t blame you if you fall in love tonight.” A wink was barely visible through a small gap in his hair as he pulled his face away.
Unagi snaked his hand into Vibe’s as he appeared at her side. He waited for her to turn to him, and when she did, he greeted her properly with a passionate kiss. When they broke apart, he placed the flower in her hand and spoke softly. “You, my dear, look stunning tonight.” His hands found their way around her waist as he wrapped her in a hug. “Sorry we’re late.”

Ynda was distracted when the two aliens of whom she'd wondered how they would look for the dance appeared. She merely grinned at the way the hyper Cyril made his entrance, and crossed her arms, shaking her head some. She wasn't used to seeing him in something as fancy as a tux, but she had to admit it was a rather interesting sight. She blushed once more, just a little, when she remembered she was going to dance with this cute-looking alien.
Dengeki's presence, however, had a quick way of displeasing the girl. The mere sight of him flirting with Tala was enough to fill her with a sting of jealousy, which immediately made her grin disappear. She clenched her teeth in upcoming anger, but then remembered she wasn't supposed to care with whom Dengeki flirted around. He was known to do that in the first place. Why waste her time on him?
In spite of her attempt to neglect him, Ynda placed a flat paw, palm down, underneath her chin, her eyes still aimed for him. This gesture meant both "jerk" and "lady-killer" in her language, and it certainly wasn't the first time she used it on him. After she lowered her hand, she turned back to Nebulos, still expecting an answer from the blushy alien.

"Etoile." The hiss came quietly as Tala took to her brother's side again, clutching his arm with some sort of anxiety that hadn't been there before. When he glanced down, his eyes met with a face that was full of a strange fear. "I'll be right back, okay? I just gotta tie up my hair and th-"
Shaking his head, her brother wrapped his fingers around her wrist and gestured for her to stay. Heaving a sigh, the girl resigned herself to stay, and hoped that no one would mistake her for a wild creature of some sort. That would be extremely entertaining. . . but mostly bad.
When she saw a few familiar faces enter the room, she glanced upward to see if Etoile had noticed them first, but he had returned his attentions to his Luminarian friend. Pressing up onto her toes, she whispered in Etoile's ear, "Nalo's here."
The boy's eyes snapped to life suddenly and swept over the room like a searchlight until they fell upon the girl that he had been waiting for, a green dress draping over her form and her hair twisted up elegantly. Tala thought to herself that Nalo looked rather stunning, and upon glancing up to her brother to see if he thought the same, she was amused to find that his jaw had dropped open a couple of inches.
Reaching over, she tried to close his mouth with a couple of fingers, and the boy swatted her hand away while smiling ruefully. Leaning over, he whispered to her, "Behave. And stop worrying." And then he was gone, stalking away so that he could greet Nalo while a violet blush seared his cheeks.
She was watching the older Telarian with a sense of affection when her attention was demanded by a larger presence, one that wasted no time in the flattery. Trying not to flush when his lips brushed her cheek, she took the flower and then promptly elbowed him, light enough that it wouldn't hurt. "Cut it out," she told him with an easy grin, "I'm still Tala."
To the whisper that he breathed into her ear, Tala only laughed, pursing her lips at him when he straightened again. "You wish," she told him loftily, before lifting the flower and tucking it into her thick hair. "But thanks. You look rather nice, yourself."
This had better be good, she thought to herself, arranging one of her belts just so that she had something to do with her hands. It wasn't worth getting all dressed-up and different if the dance wasn't even going to be any fun.

Princess Niji floated over to the group enthusiastically. "Hey guys!" She greeted, looking everyone over. "Wow, you all look amazing!" Her eyes landed on Tala, and her change in hairstyle. "I love your hair Tala, I think it looks great down..." She said sincerely. The colorful girl then turned to Masurao. "You look handsome too Masurao, I'd be careful if I were you, there's a group of girls over there who I think fancy you very much." She giggled teasingly. --------

"You're blushing, Casanova."
"Oh?" said Nebulos, looking up and blinking his eyes a few times, as if he had forgotten there were still other people around. Still a little flustered, he turned to look at Ynda. "I'm blush--oh." The fact she'd pointed it out made him blush him even more and he brought his hands to his cheeks to rub them. Of course, this didn't make the purpleness disappear, but increase. He rather looked as if came home from a day of playing in the snow, with cheeks like little violet apples. The boy turned to look at his green friend again in order to speak, but she was ahead of him. "Say... would you think this dance might be the perfect opportunity to confess your... F-E-E-L-I-N-G-S?"
The Luminarian boy stood there for a second, blinking his eyes confusedly. ". . . Laryngitis?" he inquired doubtfully, not understand where Ynda was getting with this. Apparently, he had not been able to make out the word she'd spelled. He knitted his brows together in a look of concentration, mentally recalling the letters she had spelled out to him and his lips mouthed each letter as he remembered it. After a second or two, it seemed to have hit him.
"Hey!" he cried out, the light on his antennae brightening greatly in his surprise and his face now covered in purple entirely. It might seem a little odd to bystanders that the little creature suddenly yelled like this, especially since Ynda had been whispering. Nebulos seemed to realize it and he blushed a shade darker and dimmed the light from his antennae quickly. Flustered, he turned back to face his friend again, right in time to see her turn back to him also, the only difference being she had a rather disgruntled look on her face. Nebulos blinked down at the expression, a bit befuddled why she was looking like this. Surely, she wasn't glum because he'd cried out like this? A glance past Ynda provided him with an answer. And now it was Nebulos's turn to be amused.
"Don't worry," he said with a chuckle, putting a hand on her now shorter shoulder and another gesturing at Tala and Dengeki. "They're just friends, you know that. . . Or as Tala would put it, 'homies'." He air-quoted while grinning. Tala's vocabulary had the tendency to amuse him. "There's no need to look like that. A smile suits you better any day." he added, smiling himself and tucking his hands behind his back while tilting his head to one side, overall looking rather adorable.
Masurao, meanwhile, seemed to be oddly relieved when distraction arrived in the form of Milo-Lee, which resulted in Tala shifting her attention to the feline. His mane twitched lightly and he stood there for a minute, as if he seemed to collect his thoughts. He then gave his head the slightest of shakes and intended to make way for Niji, like he'd intended to do in the first place, but the princess was ahead of him. The mere second she had turned to face him, the wolfboy had already swooped down into a graceful bow, his (for the occasion) un-gloved hand resting in his chest. "Good evening, your Highness," he said solemnly, before straightening up again, his tail curling out behind him. "You look quite amazing this evening." he endorsed the statement with a deep nod and briefly wondered why it was less hard to say Niji that she looked great than letting Tala know her hair looked nice.
Recalling this, he cast a quick glance at said girl, in time to see the aquatic alien present her a flower and kiss her on the cheek. The gesture made the guard lift an eyebrow and he experienced a strange sensation he could not place. Perhaps it was like how he was wary of Numbuh Infinity whenever he got one inch too close to his princess. Yes, that was probably it. He felt strangely edgy when he turned back to face the colourful girl in front of him, though he didn't know why. Well, it was probably because he'd have his hands full looking after Niji now she had decided to accompany the human.
"You look handsome too Masurao," Niji said brightly, "I'd be careful if I were you, there's a group of girls over there who I think fancy you very much."
Another fist was brought to his chest and he bowed down in front of her for a second time. "Thank you, princess, you are most kind." he spoke clearly, before swooping up again. He didn't comment on the other fact she'd laid out to him, but kept his monotone stare. Surely, he'd noticed it, but it hardly mattered. His piercing green stare moved to Numbuh Infinity this time, looking at him as if his gaze was strong enough to drill straight through the human's sunglasses. It was as if he was sending the boy a silent warning, one he didn't need to explain. Masurao supposed the commander was fully aware of what he meant by looking at him like this. After a moment or two, he turned back to the royal teen in front of him. "I hope you'll enjoy your evening. And should there be a problem..." Masurao glanced meaningfully at Numbuh Infinity as he said this "...You know I'm closeby."

Ynda exhaled a sigh when she felt Nebulos' hand on her shoulder. She raised her own and gently placed it on his as a sign of appreciation, avoiding eye contact. Ynda nodded reluctantly to her friends' "homies" remark, and felt herself blush when he complimented her smile.
"Yeah... you're right," she muttered eventually, glancing Dengeki's way once more. She remained silent for a moment, but then shot him a glare. "I bet he's doing this to mess with me, anyway. Well, that ain't gonna work."
Grumpily, she crossed her arms and turned back to Nebulos, only to see him in that adorable state. She raised her eyebrows in surprise for a moment, but then got the tempting urge to mess with him a little herself. That's why she suddenly jumped on his back and gave him a playful noogie.
"Stop looking so adorable, Squirt!" she told him, wrapping her other arm around his neck. "You should save some for your date!"

Hollow ears picked up the word "homies" from a voice that rarely formed such words, and Tala was momentarily distracted as she glanced at the tiny Nebulos, a small smile playing about her lips while he framed the word in air quotes. It was amusing to hear the boy use her rather unorthodox terms, and she sent him a little wink before returning to the larger group, taking herself out of his conversation.
The colorful princess had offered her a compliment, she realized with a start. "I love your hair Tala, I think it looks great down..."
One of her hands instinctively came up to twine a long strand of hair around her finger, twirling it absentmindedly as though she was contemplating a way to rid herself of it. Orange eyes flicked to the bodyguard that was nearby before rapidly returning to the princess, and she attempted a smile. "Thank you, Niji." Sweeping a shaky curtsy, she tried to keep her hair from falling into her face. "But I'm nothing compared to you tonight; you're absolutely stunning."
Straightening, she smiled again, nervously. It was strange to have so much attention on appearances. . . she wasn't used to being so scrutinized.

When Vibe felt a hand weave its way into hers, she turned and barely saw the boy's face before his lips locked with her. "Hello to you, too," she murmured as they pulled apart and she was presented with a flower.
"You, my dear, look stunning tonight." A small, modest smile arrived on her features. "And you look suave as usual," was her comment, along with a brief "you're forgiven" to follow his apologies for being late. As soon as he pulled back from the hug, she draped her arm around his shoulders, twirling the purple flower between her fingertips.
As Vibe had let go of her moments before being attacked her her boyfriend, Nalo was left to stand on her own and try not to let her nerves get the best of her, a light white blush already shimmering on her cheeks. But within a few moments she noticed a certain Telarian making his way closer, and the white glow intensified within a second. Man, he looked good! Clearing her throat, she made her way closer as well, to meet him in the middle, still looking him up and down with nervous golden eyes.
"Yndaaaaa!"
Apparently Cyril had found his date, and he greeted her with an enthusiastic hug, being careful not to disturb her outfit.
"Ohmygoshyoulooksoprettyyyy! Wear dresses more often! And bows!" was what could only be considered a compliment, he hoped. He nuzzled at her cheek lightly with her beak in an informal kiss, still smiling widely at the girl.

Blue eyes glanced over her expression and were able to read it in a second, and a smile tugged at his lips when he found shyness there. He was feeling somewhat nervous himself, but he was somehow able to bury it when he reached her, wrapping his arms around her waist in a warm, close hug, skipping over a polite bow just so he could hold her faster.
Leaning his forehead against hers so that he could look deep into her golden eyes, he smiled affectionately, trying to melt her fears. "You look absolutely beautiful," he murmured to her. "And I feel like the luckiest man in the room right now."
A light violet blush was already blossoming on his face again, indicative of the fact that he meant every word. Gently leaning forward, just enough to briefly brush her lips with his, he gave her another warm smile and hoped that she would feel more comfortable with him now.

Her whole face could have been white, she couldn't help the huge blush despite Etoile's calming words. Hesitant arms found their way around his shoulders, and she could only smile nervously at him. A few limbs pulled out a small notebook and pen she was keeping stashed in the sashes around her waist, and she wrote something down for him to see. "Would 'I have never wanted you more than I do now' be too crude to pass as a compliment?" The smile which had started so nervously was now becoming one of ease, although the blush still burned brightly on her cheeks.

Etoile laughed at the words written on the page and pecked the girl on the nose affectionately. "No, I'm flattered," he told her with a grin, before stepping back slightly so that only one arm was curled around the girl's waist. With his other arm, he gestured toward the group of people that were busy talking, the group that he had left. "Do you want to go say hi to everyone else?"
He tugged at the hem of his suit jacket and then gave her a teasing grin. "It's partly just because I want to show everyone how cute you are, I'll admit it."

Nalo swatted him lightly on the head, although smiling with amusement; his comments weren't helping the bright blush on her face, and as she became to embarrassed when she blushed she didn't want him to prolong its stay on her cheeks. However she did nod lightly in response to the question, careful not to upset her hair with the movement, placing one hand onto his shoulder as she did.

*pants* I'm here...wow, everythhing gets going so fast....yeah, I'm studyijng for midterm exams right now, and my mom left my laptop at my grammy's house *starts rambling on with random excuses* ---------------------------------------------
"Why."
" 'Why' what?"
"Just...why."
"Why...peaches are tasty?"
Lunira shook her head a little along with a small sigh. She was questioning the Whiskite girl as to why she had caused their little delay. Zoelin probably knew the exact reason why, but at the moment she had taken to keep the little Ursa guessing.
"Okay, okay...look: it wasn't my fault--"
"That you had to run after every sparkly dress and tuxedo that was in view?"
"Hey, you're the one who had me clip my hair back, remember?" Zoelin responded, trying to defend herself. Lunira shrugged, the girl did have a point, but the incident was a little unnecessary. At least no one had gotten hurt....
Except for the three aliens that were wearing glitter on their faces.
"Well, at least it's over with, right?" Lunira sighed, looking up at her. "And we're still back on track."
"Right. Racers....to your starting points."
Lunira raised an ebony eyebrow, but then nodded, figuring that was the girl's way of agreeing. "Right." Silence came on to two of them as they headed their way towards the dance hall, which gave Lunira's mind the chance to fill her head with random thoughts. However, most of them were concerned about tonight. And the majority of those, were about a certain blue-teen she knew all too well.
A small pink blush painted itself over her cheeks, tinting her fur with it's light and visible color. She was looking forward to seeing him, she wondered how he looked. Not that it matter, as she knew he always looked hot-- er, good.
"A jenisn for your thoughts, ma'dear?" Zoelin's voice brought her back to reality.
"Huh? Oh, nothing. It was nothing--"
"Nothing, or was it something?" Lunira's cheeks grew more darker in hue, that they were almost the tone of Zoelin's fur. The scarlet girl's usual mischevious grin was already in place as she went on. "Yep....I knew it!"
"Uh.." Lunira looked forward, trying to find something to distract them but as luck would have it, there were already near their friends. "Oh lookee, we're here!"
"That still doesn't answer my--" Zoelin was cut off as she saw Lunira quicken in pace towards the others. Zoelin only shrugged and looked around to see who was the closest, and not the busiest to talk to.
Then, a thought had occured to her. If Lunie was occupied, then maybe she would have enough time to brush any bangs that were free back over her right eye....just so no one could see the light lavendar orb she tried years to keep hidden. It wasn't that she was afraid anyone wouldn't like them....she just felt that they were just plain weird.

Ynda perked up when she heard a very familiar voice call her name. She didn't need to guess what was about to happen next, so she quickly jumped off Nebulos's back so not get him dragged along. Just in time - Cyril's hug was still as overwhelming as ever, which nearly caused her to tumble over. After all, that bird possessed a lot of strength, even if he didn't look like it.
She was about to greet him awkwardly, but was silenced at once when he buried her in compliments, followed by a kiss on the cheek, more or less. All the words she'd wanted to say were swallowed in an instant, and Ynda was left speechless. Her eyes had gone wide and her cheeks an intense shade of darkgreen.
"U-uhm... I..." she stuttered eventually, looking away from his wide smile. She was currently too embarrassed to make eye contact with him, even when he looked so cute. "T-thanks... Y-you look good, too..." She spoke the last part in a whisper, feeling even more embarrassed because she'd given him a compliment of her own. She sure hoped her words wouldn't have any odd consequences.

"Hey, guys, hey. Wow, you look really good!"
Milo-Lee's eyes widen a bit and her blush darkened from the compliment. The girl, who rarely wore anything other than jeans and baggy sweatshirts, was certainly not used to compliments on her appearance. "Thanks, umm, you too," She finished brightly determined to keep up her good mood for tonight. She was just about to say something else when Dengeki, who, if she remembered correctly, was Tala's date. She gave the crowd a quick look over again, and saw a lot of couples were now present. Wrinkling her nose a bit, she returned to to ground and turned to Finnick. "I forgot something about coming to dances," She said simply.
Finnick looked confused for a moment and then replied, "What?"
"The others couples," Normally, she would of left the room, having no desire to be around all that kissing and junk. But she'd could leave tonight.
"Other couples?" The boy inquired.
"Shut up," She said jokingly, punching him lightly on the arm, "You know what I mean,"
"Yeah, I know," He smiled, "I wonder where Zoelin is?"
"Good question, I haven't seen her or Lunira yet. I'm sure she'll like your tux," She added winking and pulling her hand across his shoulder, followed by a trail of flickering, shiny stars.
He laughed, "Your right, I bet that's why she late, she was following shiny outfits,"
She laughed as well, smiling widely. A minute or two later, she noticed a colorful girl approach the group. "I'm gonna go say hi to Niji," She said, lifting off the ground again. She fluttered over to the princess, stopping in front of her, Masurao and Infinity, and hovering at eye level with her. "Hi, Niji, you look really nice tonight," It still felt weird commented on people's appearance, but she wanted to be nice. She glanced between the two boys and added, "You guys too,"
